Recap: Vikram and Sana had a romantic memorable night.

********************

Vikram and Sana stirred awake from their afternoon nap, feeling refreshed. Wrapped in their soft bathrobes, the result of their earlier attempt at “saving water,” they moved around the room lazily. Sana was about to head toward the closet to change when Vikram reached out, gently stopping her.

“Wait,” he said, handing her a bag. “Wear this.”

Sana glanced at him, curiosity flickering in her eyes. Without questioning further, she took the bag and stepped into the closet. Meanwhile, Vikram changed into his outfit in the room, waiting for her.

A few minutes later, Sana stepped out, draped in the exquisite purple silk saree he had chosen for her. The fabric shimmered under the soft lighting, its embellished blouse hugging her frame perfectly. As she adjusted the pleats of her saree, Vikram turned toward her—and froze.

His breath hitched.

His eyes roamed over her, drinking in every detail—the way the saree accentuated her curves, the smooth expanse of her bare waist, the way her free-flowing hair swayed with each movement. She was a vision, a goddess standing before him.

Sana raised a perfectly arched brow, silently questioning his intense stare. But Vikram remained rooted, unable to utter a single word.

Rolling her eyes, she waved a hand in front of his face. “Vikky?”

That snapped him out of his trance. He scratched his eyebrow with a sheepish grin before winking at her.

Sana chuckled softly and walked over to the dresser. Sitting down, she carefully lined her eyes with kohl, adding depth to her already expressive gaze. She dabbed a nude shade onto her lips, wincing slightly as she pressed them together—still swollen from the previous night’s relentless kisses. Her hand hovered over the concealer, ready to hide the marks dotting her skin, reminders of Vikram’s passion.

Behind her, Vikram remained unmoving, watching her like a man possessed. He couldn’t take his eyes off her.

The restraint he had been holding onto finally snapped. He strode toward her in swift, determined steps, wrapping his arms around her from behind. His lips found the curve of her neck, pressing against the warm skin, inhaling the faint scent of roses mixed with sandalwood.

Sana tensed slightly before melting into his embrace, biting her lower lip to suppress a moan as he sucked gently on her skin.

“Vikky…” she whispered breathlessly.

Without a word, he took her left hand and, in one smooth motion, slid a ring onto her delicate finger.

Sana blinked, staring at the ring now adorning her hand. Her lips parted in shock.

The Blue Moon Diamond. The world’s most expensive diamond. A ring worth nearly fifty million dollars. Her heart pounded.

She turned to face him, her eyes wide in disbelief. “Am… Am I dreaming?”

Vikram chuckled. “Nope. You’re very much awake, sweetheart.”

She shook her head, still stunned. “You… you got this for me?”

“Don’t you like it, wifey?” he asked, tilting his head with a teasing smirk.

“God, no, Vikky!” she gasped. “I love it! But… why would you spend so much? You know I don’t care about expensive things. You being with me is more than enough.”

Vikram cupped her cheek, his thumb grazing her skin tenderly. “I know, my love. That’s exactly why I got it for you. My queen deserves the best in this world. And this?” He lifted her hand, pressing a kiss to the ring. “This is just a small token from your poor husband.”

Sana exhaled sharply, shaking her head with a fond smile. “You’re impossible, you know that?”

“I do,” he grinned. “So… shall we leave?”

She narrowed her eyes playfully. “Let’s get going before I slap you.”

Vikram smirked and leaned in, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. “Darling, you look breathtaking in this saree. The scent of your hair is driving me insane. And your kohled eyes…” His fingers traced her cheek lightly. “Your lips… God, Sana, I’m losing my mind here.”

She swatted his arm. “You had your way with me all night and didn’t stop until morning. If I let you start now, we’ll never leave this room.”

He caught her by the waist and pulled her flush against him.

“Not enough,” he murmured. “Give me something more… please?”

Sana’s cheeks flushed. “No, no, no—”

Vikram didn’t let her finish. He spun her around swiftly, stealing a quick peck on her lips. But the moment his lips met hers, desire surged through him. What was meant to be a peck turned into something deeper, his teeth grazing her lower lip before he bit down gently.

Sana groaned, pulling away breathlessly. “Vikky! My lips are already swollen!”

“Then return the kiss if you don’t like mine,” he challenged, his eyes glinting mischievously.

She huffed and smacked his chest lightly. “You gave me so many surprises and gifts… but I didn’t give you anything.”

Vikram’s gaze softened. “You gave me life, Sana. You gave me Sara. You gave me you. What more could I possibly ask for? You are the greatest gift I’ve ever received.”

Sana’s heart melted. But still… “I want to give you something too.”

Vikram’s lips curled into a teasing smile. “Oh? Then give me what I ask for, and I’ll consider it your gift to me.”

She eyed him suspiciously. “What do you want?”

His smirk widened. “I want you.”

Sana rolled her eyes. “Vikky… I’m serious.”

“Fine,” he laughed. “Play a game with me, then. A romantic game.”

Her brows furrowed in confusion. “A romantic game?”

He nodded. “Yes. We’ll start when we reach the resort. The game lasts twelve hours—from the moment we arrive until midnight.”

Sana folded her arms. “And what exactly is this game?”

“For these twelve hours,” he said, his voice thick with amusement, “you’re not allowed to stop me from kissing or pecking you.”

Her eyes widened in shock. “What?!”

“Are you ready, wifey?” Vikram waggled his brows.

Sana groaned. “How do you even come up with these ideas?”

He shrugged. “I have a gorgeous, sexy wife. No wonder my brain is filled with such thoughts.”

Sana smirked. “I feel bad for you. Mom, bro, and Bhabhi will be with us. I don’t think you’ll even get a chance.”

Vikram leaned in, his lips ghosting over her ear. “Let’s see who ends up at mercy, hmm?”

With that challenge set between them, they finally reached the resort.

Vikram smirked as they stepped out. “Time starts now, wifey.”

Sana chuckled. “All the best.”

As soon as they walked in, Pugazh, Pavi, and Amma greeted them warmly, pulling them into tight hugs.

“Happy anniversary!” they all cheered.

Sana and Vikram smiled, thanking everyone before bending down to take Amudha’s blessings.

Just as Vikram bent close to Amma, he discreetly pressed a quick kiss to Sana’s cheek.

She gasped, turning to him in shock.

He grinned devilishly, winking.

The game had officially begun.

Sana took Sara in her arms and kissed her cheeks, inhaling the soft scent of her baby.

“Dude, Rakshat called me. He wanted to talk to you. Give him a call back,” Pugazh informed Vikram.

Vikram nodded, pulling out his phone as he dialed the number. Walking towards the sit-out, he spoke on the call. A few moments later, he called out, “Sana.”

Sana walked over, taking the phone from him to speak to her father. Just as she placed the phone to her ear, Vikram leaned in and pecked her lips before casually walking away. She stammered, momentarily flustered, but managed to continue her conversation.

When she returned, everyone was engaged in a lively chat, and she spotted Sara giggling in Vikram’s arms. He was gently poking her dimples, his face lit with adoration.

“Sana, aren’t you feeding Sara?” Vikram asked suddenly.

“Yes, Sana. Go to your room and feed her,” Amudha urged.

Sana hesitated, her mind immediately suspicious. What is he planning now?

“Mom, let her get used to formula. I’ll feed her later. For now, please get her a bottle,” she said, smirking at Vikram.

Vikram raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile playing on his lips. Seems like she figured out my plan.

“Dude, I’ve arranged lunch in the garden. A feast to celebrate,” Pugazh announced.

“Super, bro! I’m starving already,” Sana chimed in.

Vikram turned to her with a teasing glint in his eyes. “Even I’m starving…” He let the sentence linger, looking directly at Sana.

She rolled her eyes. Crazy fellow, he speaks in double meanings.

“Even I’m hungry, so let’s go,” Pranitha added, leading the way.

As everyone made their way outside, Amudha called out, “Sana, I left the bottle in the kitchen. Please get it.”

Sana nodded and headed towards the kitchen. Just as she grabbed the bottle, she felt a sudden warmth at her neck. Vikram had sneaked in, pretending to be on the phone, only to press a lingering kiss on her skin.

She gasped, jerking away. God, I never thought he’d be so cunning! I made a mistake accepting this game. Looks like I’ll lose if I’m not careful.

Back in the garden, they settled down for a lavish lunch, filled with fun and banter. Sana fed Sara with the bottle before handing her over to Amudha, who patted the baby’s back gently for a burp.

“Hey, Sana! Your ring is so beautiful!” Pranitha exclaimed, admiring the shimmering jewel on her hand.

“Thank you, sister-in-law. Vikram gifted it to me,” Sana replied with a proud smile.

Just as she spoke, Vikram intentionally dropped his handkerchief, bent down to pick it, and brushed a quick, secret kiss against her waist. Sana’s eyes widened in shock.

Vikram straightened, glancing at her with a cocky smirk. “Looks like my wife underestimated me,” he murmured in her ear.

She shot him a glare but said nothing, her cheeks heating up.

The afternoon melted into evening with tea, chats, and a special dinner. All the while, Vikram never missed a single opportunity to steal a kiss. As the clock neared 10 PM, the exhaustion from the long day began to settle in.

“It’s time. I think we should retire for the night,” Pugazh announced, stretching.

“Me too,” Pranitha agreed.

Sana’s mind raced. Oh god, two more hours left. What do I do now?

“Let’s stay back and chat for a while, please,” she suggested quickly.

Pranitha narrowed her eyes. “There’s something odd about you, but I can’t put my finger on it.”

Sana forced a casual laugh. “Nothing like that.”

“I don’t think so. Something is fishy,” Pranitha insisted.

“Not just her. Something is fishy about him too,” Pugazh added, pointing at Vikram.

Vikram raised his hands in mock innocence. “What did I do now? I’m just minding my own business.”

Yeah, of course, you’re minding your own business, Sana scoffed internally. We haven’t even been alone in the room yet, and he’s kissed me so many times!

Vikram suddenly stretched and yawned. “I’m tired. I’ll head to the room. You all continue.”

Sana frowned. You wanted to play your game with me, wifey? Now, I’ll see how long you last outside.

As Vikram left, Pugazh and Pranitha bid Sana goodnight and headed to their rooms. She sighed, gathering Sara in her arms before walking to her room.

The moment she stepped in, Vikram smirked. She matched his expression.

“Sara baby, come to Daddy…” He lifted his daughter, playing with her gently.

But soon, the little one began yawning. Sana took her onto her shoulder, patting her back to lull her to sleep. Vikram, meanwhile, was busy on his phone.

Sana squinted suspiciously. What is he up to now?

A sudden knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. Vikram opened it to find Pugazh standing there.

“What do you want, man?” Vikram asked, frowning.

“Your sister fought with me, so I’ll sleep here alone tonight.”

Vikram folded his arms. “And that means…?”

“I’ll be bored, so let me take Sara with me,” Pugazh announced, taking the sleeping baby from Sana’s arms.

As he turned to leave, he threw a wink at Vikram, which did not go unnoticed by Sana.

“Goodnight, both of you!” Pugazh called out before walking away.

Vikram locked the door and turned, catching Sana’s accusing stare.

“This was your plan, wasn’t it?” she demanded.

He smirked. “Madam, you made so many plans to escape me. Did any of them work? I only needed one.” He started walking toward her, a predatory glint in his eyes.

Sana instinctively took a step back, then another, until she felt the wall against her back. Vikram placed his hands on either side, trapping her.

Her breath hitched, and she looked down, her cheeks flushed.

He leaned in, close enough that she could feel his breath on her skin. But just when she expected a kiss, he pulled back, leaving her puzzled.

“What are you looking at, wifey?” he teased.

“N-Nothing,” she stammered.

He chuckled. “You tried so hard to avoid me, so I’ll let you go. I won’t do anything against your wish.”

She looked up at him, eyes shining. “And when did I say I didn’t like it?”

Vikram’s smirk deepened. “So, you’re okay with it?”

Sana turned away, blushing furiously. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer.

“Then I won’t hold back,” he whispered before he began peppering kisses along her jawline, trailing down to her neck. The game was over, but for them, the night had only just begun.

Muththam muththam muththamaa
Moondraam ulaga yuthamaa
Aasai kalaiyin uchchamaa
Aayiram paambukal kothumaa

Kiss after kiss, is it a war of the third world?
Is it the peak of desire’s art?
Or the sting of a thousand serpents?

She moved from him blushing but he pulled her and she dashed on his chest and she kissed him back making him groan out of pleasure.

Ottrai muththathil
En ottrai muththathil
Unn uchchanthalaiyil
Pitham aeri aadinaai
Adaimazhai megam pol
Or idaivelli illaamal
Naan alli thanthaal
Innum enna aaguvaai

With a single kiss,
Just with my single kiss,
You swayed in a frenzy,
As if intoxicated, upon your crown.

Like a heavy raincloud,
Without a pause or break,
If I were to give myself completely,
What would become of you then?

He cupped her face and slowly pecked her lips but she pulled him closer with his hair and kissed him deeply making him surprised.

Ithazhodu ithaamaaga
Muththam ketten..pathamaaga
Nee thanthaaii..
Nee thanthaaii
En elumbellaam thoolaai pogum

With lips to lips,
I asked for a kiss… as a reward.
And you gave it…
You gave it…
Till my very bones turned to dust.

Her one hand run his hair and one hand held his back. She dominated this time and he gave up to her. She explored his every corner.

Melliya pennae
Ithanai sakthi
Eppadi vanthathu unakku
Iruthayam melae
Moolai keelae
Bauthiga maattram enakku

Oh delicate woman,
How did you gain such power?
Over my heart above,
And my mind below,
Bringing a physical transformation in me.

Both parted panting heavily for air. He then lifted her in bridal style and moved to bed. He kissed very inch of her body.

Sinthiya muththam
Athu saivam thaandaa
Ini asaiva muththam
Ingu aarambam thaandaa

The kissed I imagined—
That was only vegetarian…
But now, the feast of real kisses—
It’s time to begin the indulgence!

They were drowned in their world of newly found love. He found him in her and she dissolved in him.

Adi ulagin pasiyellaam
Muzhu uruvaai vantha pennae
Unn muththam
Oru morgam
Athil sethaalum sethu poven
Sethu poven..sethupoven…

Oh, woman—
The hunger of the whole world
Has taken form in you…

Your kiss—
A deadly desire…
Even if it kills me,
I will die for it,
I will die… I will die…

As they lay next to each other, breathless and entwined after their passionate moments, Vikram gently brushed Sana’s hair away from her face, his eyes filled with warmth.

“You liked it, wifey?” he whispered, his voice laced with satisfaction.

Sana, still lost in the aftermath of their intimacy, nodded with a soft smile. “Yes…”

Vikram chuckled at her shy response and leaned down to press a tender kiss on her forehead.

“You won the game,” he murmured against her skin.

Sana frowned slightly, looking up at him in confusion. “Me?”

“Yes,” Vikram smirked, pulling her closer. “You always tempted me. I couldn’t stay away from you, no matter how much I tried. It was you who pulled me towards you… so, technically, you won the game.”

Sana’s cheeks flushed, and she buried her face into his chest, smiling against his skin.

Vikram chuckled at her reaction and wrapped his arms securely around her. With their hearts beating in sync, they drifted off to sleep, holding onto each other, cherishing the warmth of love, passion, and a truly unforgettable anniversary night.
