Recap: Sid, Yamini and Vimal , Nivedha get married

Morning rays of the sun fell on face of the couples who were sleeping peacefully on the terrace. Yamini turned her face and snuggled into Sid’s shoulder who was lying on his stomach his face away from the sun rays. When they couldn’t take the heat on their body both sat up leaned against each other.
Yami looked at Sid’s face who had his eyes still closed. She smiled for the first morning after their marriage waking up as husband and wife.
Sid: Good morning Mrs. Sid..
Yam: Good morning Mr. Sid….shall we go down..its getting hot already..
Sid: That is because you have a hot man beside you…
Yami smacked him and Sid got up and pulled her holding her hands. They took the duvet and pillow to return to their room. Madhu was on her way to wake the couples but she stopped when she was Sid and Yami returning from the terrace holding the duvet and pillow.
Madhu: why are you both returning from terrace ?
Sid: We had a wish to sleep at the terrace on our wedding night and you too didn’t bother to decorate our room so Yami got upset that I had to take her to the terrace to make her feel better.
Yami stomped on his foot and he hissed giving a smile at his mother.
Yam: Madhu ma, he is just joking..you go back. I will get ready and come to the kitchen.
Madhu smiled at her and knocked on Vimal’s room which was next to Sid and left to the kitchen. Yamini got ready in a salwar and reached the kitchen. She sat on the counter and saw Madhu cooking with the help of the maids. Sid entered the kitchen and informed his mother and Yami on going out to buy something.
Madhu and Yami set the table and soon Vimal came down holding Nivedha’s hand and they settled next to each other. Madhu served them breakfast which was Vimal’s usual salads, juice and toast. Nivedha had the same as she was figure conscious.
Sid entered the dining and placed a small bag and sat for breakfast. Yami sat next to him and pulled Madhu to sit with them as Viswa had left already to visit some friends.
Madhu: Yami I will eat later, you both have first..
Yam: No ma, comeon eat with us or I will not feel like eating at all.
Madhu served idly, mutton curry to them and served herself. Nivedha looked at them and the plate.
Yam: woww….smells so good ma…I was waiting so long to taste it.
Nive: Idly and mutton curry in the morning ?
Madh: Actually its a custom that we give non veg to the newly wed couple as their first breakfast but Vimal is very strict when it comes to his health and he said that you are like him so I prepared his usual salad and juice.
Nive: Sid, you should be health conscious and avoid such food atleast in the morning. Yami stays home but you will have to go out for business and you should consider your health and physique.
Sid: If you both like your life style then I m happy with my life style. It should not bother you. And this is mine and Yami’s favourite…We are…foodiess…
Madhu: Sid, keep your mouth in control..she is your sister in law…
Sid: Actually you should say this to her..
Madhu: Shut up ..now tell me where did you go and what is the cover ? Did you buy our favourite ?
Sid: un aasa ? (you wish?) This is cotton balls and ear muffs…
Madhu: Are you nuts ? Who will buy them in this climate ?
Sid: You should get shifted to my room and you will know why I bought this… God she is too noisy….our poor ears….we had to vacate our room last night.. Either you get shifted to my room or make someone’s room sound proof. I have an innocent child with me now.. ohhh my poor baby
Sid pulled Yami to his chest dramatically while Vimal and Nivedha both choked on their food. Madhu gave a deadly glare to Sid who smiled and shrugged in return. He patted Yamini’s head and passed water to her who was also choking.
Sid: Eat slowly Yami, what is the urgent ?……
Yami: I m sorry Nivedha..sorry Vimal bro…
Sid: I will revenge tonight for ruining my sleep last night..
Yami stood up with plate and dragged Sid with her from there. Madhuri cleared her throat and excused to check on the milk which she never kept for boiling. Nivedha looked at Vimal who was feeling embarrassed and looking at his plate.
Nive: you should have stopped your brother from speaking so nonsense. How could he embarrass like this ?
Vim: So that we would have knew that we disturbed them rather than making them feel embarrased everytime we are involved in our intimacy. Don’t mind him…He doesn’t have filter and speak his heart out otherwise he is very good. Only problem is he won’t tolerate anyone troubling Yamini.
Nive: so he is mad at you that you refused to marry her and he is throwing all the tantrums on us now. He should know that we only did good for him.
Vim: He will know one day until then have some patience. He is my brother and I love him so much though I don’t show it to him.
Nive: What about Yamini ?
Vim: We have already started our life. Do you still ask that question to me ? I have some work so I will be in the room.
Nive: Shall we go out…may be for lunch or movie ?
Vim: I will finish the work and then we can decide… stay with mom and try to spend time with her.
Nive: Can you stay with me and we can spend time together..
Vim: I haven’t done something like that. I was always busy with works so if I do something new then it would be like I m doing it for you and not for her….
Vimal left to his room and Yami came down with the plates and washed her hands. Madhu was in the kitchen giving instructions to the maid to cook lunch.
Yam: Maa, shall we go to Jaya maa ?
Madhu: She said she will be here for lunch. Viswa had left with Mano bro to relax it seems. She will be coming now..
Yami: Ok then I will call Sid..
Sid came down and sat on the floor infront of Yami who was sitting on the couch. He leaned back and she raked her fingers through his hair. Vijaya entered holding a bowl and winked at Sid.
Sid: Yami, bring bowls…maa had got my favourite..
Yami entered the kitchen and came back with bowls and spoon followed by Madhu. They all settled and Yamini served the gulab jamoons to all and at the same time Sid spread a mattress and started shuffling the cards. They were so busy in playing and didn’t notice when Nivedha came to the hall. She them fighting and playing cards with Sid feeding the jamoon to Yami in between.
Yami saw Nivedha and smiled at her. Madhu and Vijaya too saw her and smiled at her but Sid rolled his eyes.
Madhu: Nivedha, do you play cards ? come we can start the game again…
Nive: No aunty, I don’t play cards… I never had time to play games and was always busy with one or other thing in studies, business so you carry on and I will just watch.
Sid: Maa, I m tired so call me for lunch…I will be in room…
He took Yami with him no dragged Yami with him while she was screaming to leave her hand. He closed the door after entering the room.
Yami: why did you drag me ? You could have come alone and slept. I would have woke you for lunch.
Sid: I don’t want you to be there when she boast about herself.
Yam: She is not boasting Sid. She is just telling about her life. Why should we get offended for whatever she says ? Calm down and sleep. I m going back down and dare you stop me then I will smash your face.
Sid: poor your husband…yami shall we go out for movie in the evening ?
Yamini smiled and showed thmubs up. Sid booked tickets for the movie and laid to sleep while Yami returned to her mothers who were now in kitchen looking after the food being cooked as Amarnath and his wife were also expected to join them.
Nivedha returned to her room and saw Vimal busy with his laptop. She sat next to him and leaned on his shoulder telling him about what happened when she went to the hall sometimes back. vimal sighed and looked at her.
Vim: I know you just said about your life and how you lived and nothing is wrong in that but Sid and Yamini had an entirely different life style. They don’t have standard income but they do some parttime and online consultation works which earn them. We have taken over our dad’s business but they want to build something on their own. We both believe life is good being disciplined, strict, health conscious but they believe that life is to enjoy so when you say something it may be like offending that you are right and they are wrong for not living like us having some standard income.
Nive: God Vimal, I never meant like that…you have answer for everything I say.
Vim: I m just saying what if your words make them feel insecure and low of themselves. We are extreme opposite so its better we stop giving any comment that might hurt them. Sid has not forgiven me so far. He has not spoke a word to me.
Nive: You did that for his own good Vimal.
Vim: But he is yet to realize it. Even if he doesn’t realize it I won’t feel bad. I want them to be happy.
Nive: About us ?
Vim: What about us ? Are you not happy ? I m sure we talked everything before we got married. So what is with your question now ? We will give our full into this marriage so just focus on our life and lets give them the space to work on their life. You promised to help me to get their life on right track.
Vimal got up and left the room when he recieved a call from his PA leaving Nivedha lost in thoughts.
