Recap: Sid confess his feelings for Yami.

Yami returned home and saw none of them at home. Hearing some noise from the kitchen she moved towards and found Vimal struggling to prepare something.
Yami: Where is everyone ?
Vima: Oh, mom and dad has gone grocery shopping. You are so early ?
Yami: Had some gift orders to be completed so I came early. Sid will be returning by night after closing the cafe. What are you doing, shall I help you ?
Vim: Actually was feeling too tired and returned home. Just preparing tea do you want some ?
Yam: I will prepare it you go get refreshed…
Vimal nodded and left from there. Yami prepared the tea and by the Vimal returned she passed him a cup and took a cup for herself. He sat on the one of the chair in the dining and Yami sat opposite to him. She was hesitating to initiate talk and Vimal sensed it.
Vim: Do you want to ask me something ?
Yami: hmm yeah…want to say thank you….
Vimal raised his eyebrows and looked at her waiting to continue her talks.
Yami: Amma said everything to me, your plan to get married to Nivedha and their hands in it. You know thank you for that and so sorry that you had to bear the hatred from everyone.
Vim: Actually I was skeptical but Nivedha made me realize that I was doing wrong with both you and myself especially with Sid. Thanks to her.
Yam: hmm. Shall I ask you something …may be your personal too ?
Vim: Go ahead…
Yam: Did you marry Nivedha because you liked her or just to …you know stop with the marriage of ours ?
Vim: Will you believe if I say both as the reasons ?
Yam: I don’t get you….
Vim: I wanted to stop the marriage with you and that will not happen so easily because all the arrangements were done already. Even if Sid agreed to marry you again there will be a problem that I m being unmarried being elder son so I had to fix everything then Nivedha she liked me a lot. Before your proposal Nivedha’s father came to me with her proposal so I decided to give a chance accepting her in my life.
Yam: Are you happy in your life ?
Vim: why do you ask ? Do I look unhappy to you ?
Yam: We have seen you for years. You may be introvert without any friends but we know your every move. I feel something is bothering you…You can share with me if that would help to feel light hearted.
Vim: thank you…but don’t you think Sid will be posessive if he knew his friend is talking with me? When he comes to know that you are talking with me then he will be pissed off like always. So let it be and don’t worry I m good.
Yami was contemplating on his words and looked at him bewildered. Vimal placed the cup in the sink and was about to leave but stopped by Yami’s voice.
Yami: Was it because of Sid’s possessiveness you never mingled with us ? If he had not been pissed would have been friends with us ?
Vim: May be, may not be…don’t think over what is over. But I wish you realize things and act on it before its too late.. I know Sid loves me a lot and I love him more than anything in this world. I want him to be happy in his life…you too.
Yami: And we too wish the same…to be happy in your life…any problem can be fixed by talking heart to heart..
Vim: Yes…anything can be fixed so talk your heart….
Vimal smiled which was a rare one and left to his room. Yami sighed and was about to leave but stopped when she saw Viswa and Madhuri at the doorstep. Viswa went direct to his room while Madhuri sat on the couch still pondering over the words of Vimal.
Vimal laid on the bed covering his eyes with his arms his thoughts drifting to the day he took the decision and met Nivedha at a cafe in the mall.
Flashback:
Vimal and Nivedha sat opposite to each other in the cafe at the mall. Earlier he had called her to meet to discuss something important and she agreed to meet him at the cafe. They ordered espresso for both and Vimal sighed before he began to talk.
Vim: I have thought about whatever you said about Sid and Yami. Though I was skeptical about the idea of them being in love I thought it was my imagination when Yami agreed to this marriage. But now I could see the love in her eyes for him. I don’t want to be the one to snatch her love …This marriage will only give pain to both Sid and Yami.
Nive: Its good that you have realized now. But not too late you know..So what have you decided?
Vim: I don’t know…just confused.it will not be that easy to stop whatever is happening. Everyone will hate me but I m not worried about it. I m worried about Yami and Sid. what will happen when her marriage doesn’t happen..Our parents will be broken…
Nive: I can help you but don’t judge me that I m using your circumstances. I like you a lot….If you are ready then we can get married and everything will be fixed.
Vim: Sorry…you are joking right ?
Nive: No I m not.. If we get married then you can talk to your parents and if my guess is correct then over protective side of your brother will get him married to Yami.
Vim: No, I don’t want to use you for my problems. I will think of something else. I just called you to thank me for making the realization dawn upon me.
Vimal stood to leave but stopped hearing Nivedha’s words
Nive: You like Yamini right ?
Vim: You are crazy…
Nive: Tell me honestly…I won’t mind and still I m ready to marry you. Lets be open and practical. please sit down.
Vim: Its not love…but I like her a lot but not in any bad way. Being an introvert I never had friends and I used to watch Sid and Yami roaming always together. I won’t refuse, I tried few times to mingle with them but my little brother is very possessive of her and would get pissed of so I stopped trying and stayed away from them. Sometimes I have caught Yami watching me and also I have heard many times Sid teasing her for having crush on me but they don’t know I heard them. I liked the fact that there is someone who liked me. With passing time they were so close and she got over the crush on me may be because of the love she had for Sid.
Nive: So you don’t feel anything for her now ?
Vim: I don’t feel anything for her but I like her may be it was the feel to have her as my friend. Laugh with her, talk with her, tease her but nothing more.
Nive: Good, I m happy to know everything. You don’t love anyone but I like you so Ball is in your court. I won’t judge you neither will you. We are mature enough to handle this situation.
Vim: what if we don’t get together after marriage ?
Nive: See let me be practical…we will give our full into this marriage.. We will get to know each other, I will support you and I expect you to support me.
Vim: I might be looking distant with my family but I love them a lot along with Yami’s family too. Sid and Yami will be handful to handle. They are devil monsters in pranking and teasing. you may need enough patience and Sid will be annoyed to the extreme if I refuse to get married now so you may need patience until they realize the love for each other and get in your good books.
Nive: I m in then but I also want you to know we will start our life as husband and wife in every means. Talking with each, spending time together and intimacy altogether will make our bond strong. Also in a way when we behave all lovey dovey will provoke your brother’s feelings and will sure help to get them together.
Vim: You can still think Nivedha….If you are sure then call me may be we will decide after that.
Nive: I m sure of it…I m ok with whatever you have said and if you are ok with my terms then we can get married. As for parents you can tell them we like each other.
Vimal thought for sometime sipping the second espresso while Nivedha was scrolling through her mobile. He placed the cup down and cleared his throat.
Vim: I m ready…we will get our marriage registered and I will talk to my mother about this. She is a fan of Sid and Yami.
Flashback ends…
Vimal Mv: I m giving my full into this marriage or atleast I m trying but what is stopping you Nivedha. Wasn’t you the one who wanted this marriage and agreed even after knowing everything about my life. Now you keep running and you won’t even let me know your whereabouts. You have fucked my already fucked up life…
He slept letting go of everything from his mind deciding to have a talk with Nivedha.
