Sanju’s brows furrowed as she heard Aryan speak about Maya.

“Is she obsessed with you?” Sanju asked, her voice low but curious.

“Kind of,” Aryan replied with a sigh. “Let me tell you. Her father, Chandrasekar, was a business tycoon long before I even entered the industry. He was my father’s friend, and I had immense respect for him. After my father passed away, he mentored me, taught me the very basics of business. From there, I built my path and expanded, and eventually, I surpassed him to become the most successful businessman.”

He continued, “Naren was my best friend and supported me like a brother after my parents passed. I hadn’t met Maya until five years ago, when she returned from Canada after completing her studies. She was exactly the type of girl I always stayed away from, flirtatious, manipulative. I had to stay constantly alert to avoid falling for her seductive tricks.”

Sanju listened intently as Aryan revealed more.

“That was also the time when Sunitha joined to work for me. Maya heard gossip about me and Sunitha and immediately offered Sunitha a lot of money and better modeling projects just to keep her away from me. At that point, I was still establishing myself in business, so Sunitha accepted the offer. That ended her story.”

Aryan’s eyes darkened. “Naren spoke to Maya many times, but she wouldn’t listen. She only grew more obsessed. One day, she got drunk, came to my place—where I lived alone—and tried to get into my bed. That was the first time I lost my patience and slapped her. She fell unconscious. Naren rushed over and took her home. She tortured me for almost a year, and I couldn’t do much because of her father.”

Sanju’s face tightened in concern.

“Finally, Naren tricked her into proving her love by staying away from me. It was our plan to escape from her. Fortunately, she agreed, and Naren made arrangements for her to handle her father’s business in Canada. He even traveled with her. He never called me afterward, just to avoid reminding her of me.”

Aryan looked at Sanju, his voice low. “Now, after three years, she’s back—and even worse than before.”

“Aryan, why don’t you tell her father about all this?” Sanju asked.

Aryan shook his head. “That’s the problem. Mr. Chandrasekar would do anything for her happiness. She’s his world, and he’ll never say no to her. That’s why we never told him. And if there’s anyone I can’t refuse, it’s Mr. Chandrasekar… and you. I don’t want him to bring this proposal to me. He knows I won’t deny his words.”

“What if he does take the proposal to you?” Sanju asked, fear creeping into her voice.

“I’m trying my best to avoid that situation. But no matter what, there’s no going back from you. There’s no life beyond you. Now that she’s started her games again, we’ll have to face a lot. If her father gets involved, it might end in us living together… or—”

Sanju quickly placed her hand over his lips, tears brimming in her eyes.

“We will live happily, Aryan. We will face whatever comes.”

“You must understand, she’ll target you now to get you away from me,” Aryan said, holding her hand tightly. “But I’ll always be with you, sweetheart.”

“I will always be with you, Aryan,” Sanju whispered.

They embraced, eyes closed, a silent promise to stay together no matter what. Aryan pulled back and kissed her forehead, and Sanju rested her head on his chest.

Two days remained for the party. Aryan and Sanju were caught up with office work. Aryan called Sanju into his cabin.

“Yes Aryan? Why did you call me?” she asked.

“Sweetheart, Ramya called me. She’s finished the costume for you. I told her we’d meet at the hotel’s private suite. Shall we leave?”

“No, you stay back. I’ll go and check it myself.”

“Why?”

“I want it to be a surprise. So you’ll see me in it only at the party.”

Aryan chuckled. “Hmm… fine. Let me wait then, sweetheart.”

“Fine, I’ll leave now.”

“Ranjith will go with you. No more going alone.”

“Okay.”

“Go home after checking it. I’ll see you there.”

“Bye then.”

“Bye,” he said, blowing her an air kiss.

Sanju and Ranjith left for ARC Hotel where Ramya was waiting in the lounge. They took her to the private suite while Ranjith waited outside.

“You can try it on, and we’ll check the fitting,” Ramya said.

“Okay, Ramya,” Sanju nodded.

She changed into the outfit and admired herself in the mirror.

“Wow, Sanju,” Ramya gasped. “I can’t believe my eyes. You look absolutely gorgeous. It’s going to be tough for Aryan sir to take his eyes off you.”

“Thank you! This is extraordinary. I love it so much. Thank you!”

“My pleasure, Sanju. I’m so happy for you. Do you want me to deliver it to your home?”

“No, I’ll keep it here. I plan to get ready for the party from here itself.”

“Then that’s fine. I’ll leave now.”

“Sure—but only after a coffee?”

“Thanks, Sanju, but I have another client to meet. She’s a bit much, and I can’t risk being late. We’ll catch up later.”

“Okay, take care.”

Ramya left for her fashion house while Ranjith drove Sanju home.

At the fashion house, Ramya was startled to see Maya already seated and waiting, her arms crossed with impatience.

Ramya took a deep breath, offering a polite smile. “Hope I’m not late.”

Maya flicked her wrist nonchalantly. “I’m early. That’s okay. I want my costume by tomorrow.”

Ramya hesitated. “Actually, that’s a short period of time… still, let me see what I can do.”

Maya leaned forward. “Good. Actually, I saw a sketch from your assistant. I want that design for myself.”

Ramya blinked. “Oh, great. Let me check on which one you’ve selected.” She quickly called her assistant and had a look at the sketch Maya pointed out. Her expression changed immediately—it was the exclusive costume designed for Sanju.

She straightened and said with a firm tone, “I’m sorry, madam. I can’t design this costume.”

Maya raised a brow, clearly irritated. “What do you mean?”

Ramya explained, carefully choosing her words. “That sketch was a special and unique order. The person who commissioned it got it patented—he doesn’t want any other woman to wear that design. It was made exclusively for his girl.”

Maya laughed mockingly. “Ridiculous. Who gets a patent for a dress?”

Ramya maintained her professionalism. “You can select any other from my catalogue, madam.”

Though Maya wasn’t pleased, she eventually chose a different costume, but her mind lingered on the original design.

“Deliver this to my residence tomorrow,” she instructed coldly.

Ramya nodded. “Of course. My assistant will come over and check the fittings as well.”

“Good,” Maya replied before strutting out of the room, her thoughts still on the exclusive dress that was now forbidden to her.

At Aryan mansion, Sanju was in the washroom when Aryan returned from office. He sank into the couch with a tired sigh, just as Sanju stepped out in her bathrobe, drying her hair.

He looked up and smirked. “Hmm, I’m here at the right time it seems.”

She raised an eyebrow. “Go and get refreshed, Mr. Aryan.”

But Aryan walked straight up to her and pulled her into a tight embrace.

“I couldn’t see the costume, but instead, I got a visual treat. By the way… you look hot.”

Sanju chuckled, pushing at his chest gently. “Aryan, leave me. Let me get dressed.”

He held her close, voice dropping to a deep whisper. “Just stay for a while. Please.”

He kissed her, slow and teasing, making her cheeks turn crimson. Before she could react, he lifted her into his arms and laid her gently on the bed, getting on top of her. He captured her lower lip between his teeth, tugging playfully.

After a series of heated pecks, Sanju grabbed him and kissed him deeply, dominating the moment. Their mouths moved in sync, devouring each other with urgency. Aryan trailed kisses along her neck and jawline, pushing her robe aside just enough to leave love bites along her collarbone.

In return, Sanju unbuttoned the top of his shirt and pressed her lips to the small mole on his chest, leaving her own mark—a love bite of equal passion.

Eventually, they lay breathless, side by side. Aryan pulled her onto his chest, his fingers running through her hair as he kissed her forehead.

“Sanju…”

“Hmm?” she murmured softly.

“It’s becoming really hard to hold the control. Every time you’re near me, I want you more… and even more.”

She smiled against his skin. “Same goes for me.”

He leaned to her ear, whispering in a husky voice, “Sanju, I want you completely… for me. Only for me.”

“I’m only yours, Aryan. Always and forever.”

He kissed her earlobe, his breath tickling her. “I’ll take you—devour you completely—on a special day. That day is coming soon. Be ready.”

Sanju hid her face on his chest, her cheeks aflame. Aryan chuckled.

“Stop blushing or today will become that special day.”

She gasped and pulled away. But Aryan grabbed her again and resumed his kisses, igniting yet another wave of passion.

After another round of heated make-out, they finally pulled away from each other.

“I need a bath again,” Sanju huffed, tousled and pink.

Aryan grinned. “Any help?”

“You’ve already done enough. Stay away now,” she warned playfully and disappeared into the bathroom.

She emerged dressed and refreshed, while Aryan was pushed into the bathroom next.

As she sat on the couch scrolling through her phone, a knock at the door interrupted her peace. She opened it to see Ranjith standing there, slightly tense.

“Ranjith bro? What happened?” she asked.

“Sanju… Maya is here. She wants to meet you. Where is sir? Let me inform him—he’ll handle her.”

But Sanju shook her head. “No bro, I’ll meet her.”

Ranjith looked concerned. “Sanju, that might not be a good idea. Let’s tell sir.”

“No worries. I’ll handle it. Come, let’s go.”

They headed downstairs where Maya was already seated in the living room, her gaze sharp and cold. As Sanju approached, Maya’s eyes narrowed with seething contempt. Sanju turned to Ranjith and gently dismissed him.

“Hello, Maya.”

Maya didn’t bother hiding her disdain. “Address me as madam. You’re just a PA for Aryan.”

Sanju’s voice was calm. “Maya, I know you’re aware of our relationship. So let’s skip the formalities. Tell me why you’re here.”

Maya stood up slowly, taking a step closer. “Simple. Get out of Aryan’s life. Tell me how much you need. I can pay you.”

Sanju didn’t even flinch. “Sorry. You can’t buy him… because I already own him.”

Maya’s jaw tightened. “You underestimate me far too much. I have some surprises for you. Take a look… and then decide whether you still want to stay in Aryan’s life.”

She reached into her handbag, pulling out a small envelope and handing it over. Sanju opened it—and her eyes widened in shock. The photos inside were enough to make her shoot up from the couch, her stunned gaze locked on Maya, who stood there with a sinister smirk playing on her lips.
