Chapter 55

Rishi woke up feeling the rays of the sun that peeked through the curtains. He rubbed his eyes and Aadhi snuggled into his chest. Their bare bodies were pressed and entangled with each other. The fresh petals were crushed from their busy activity over the night. The candles had melted and their clothes were piled on the floor. He saw her bare back since the comforter was covering the rest of their body. He removed the few petals that was sticking on her bare skin and felt his length twitch in need. He shook his head to get rid of any thoughts since his Aadhu was hell tired after he exhausted her with his wild desires. He knew she wouldn’t wake up anytime soon so he slowly got out of her embrace and closed all the curtains to let her sleep.

By noon Aadhi woke up and saw Rishi was asleep cuddling with her. She slowly tried to move out of his embrace but Rishi woke up and gently crushed her in his embrace and pecked her temple. Aadhi smiled and blushed at the same time that they she was still in her birth suite. Rishi proped on his elbow and showered kisses on her face.

Rishi: I love you Aadhu.. love you so much baby. I don’t think you would be able to move on your own Aadhu.

Aadhi pushed him and tried to raise but laid back hissing in pain. Rishi massaged her lower abdomen and pecked her forehead.

Rishi: I m sorry baby but I m not sorry..

Aadhi: Rishi, you pervert ..no you are not a pervert but a beast.

Rishi: Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you before we started with all these. I m sorry love, I will take care of you.

He carried her in bridal style and Aadhi saw the room was clean already. Rishi smiled and informed her that he cleaned everything before he joined her in bed once again. Aadhi felt too shy but Rishi refused to listen to her words and took care of her completely. He got her ready in his shirt and shorts before he carried her to the living to watch TV and ordered food for them before hr rushed to get ready.

He returned with a damp hair and heard the door bell at the right time. He thanked god for being on time and received the food parcel. He sat next to her and fed her with his hands.

Rishi: Are you happy Aadhu ? Did you feel loved or I was too hard with you ?

Aadhi: I love you Rishu

Rishi smiled on hearing her indirect answer and bit her cheek gently while continuing to feed her.

Rishi: Aadhu, I really hate to say this and this is the only reason I wanted to wait until you are done with your studies but like said there is no going back. I m sorry Aadhu.

Rishi passed the contraceptive pill to her and kissed her forehead mumbling sorry once again.

Aadhi: Don’t feel bad, just few more months and I will continue with the pills until then.

Rishi: Alright, tonight we are leaving to Norway. Just you and me, we are gonna have a lot of fun baby.

Rishi winked at her and walked away to wash the plates. He let her rest and drove to penthouse to pack their things for honeymoon.

At Vimal’s home he returned home the next morning and he felt relieved that Manjari wasn’t present home. He made his way to bedroom and saw her things missing completely. He entered the washrom and stood under the shower to relieve the stress and rage. He got dressed up and drove to his office but he couldn’t concentrate on his work since his mind was a mess that he brought up on his own.

Vimal: Sure there is something happening behind my back that I m not aware of.

He cursed his fate that he couldn’t share his problem with anyone and he was going crazy unable to arrive at a solution. He walked out of his office and drove to a private beach where he could get rid of all the problems in his life. He sat on the shore watching the waves lost in thoughts. An hour later he heard screams which broke his trance and he saw a girl fighting against a man trying to get away from him.

Vimal rushed to save the girl and hit the man who ran away to escape. Vimal saw the girl crouched on the shore, she was crying burying her face in her palms.

Vimal: Excuse me, he is gone. You don’t have to worry anymore. You are safe, do you want me to drive you home or should I book a cab for you ? Madam, are you ok ? Should I call the police ?

The girl removed her hands and Vimal was shocked to see Chaitra wiping her tears. He immediately sat next to her to check on her.

Vimal: Chaitra, you… are you ok ? Who is he and how did you end up here with him all alone ?

Chaitra was sobbing without replying him. Vimal held her hand and helped her to stand and gave his handkey to wipe her face. She wasn’t in a state to answer any of his questions so he simple helped her and guided her to his car. She was in the passenger seat with Vimal in the driver seat. He drove the car and stopped by a shop to buy water for her. Chaitra gulped a little and he threw the water bottle in the back seat.

Vimal: Are you ok ? Shall I call your parents or Aadhi, Malini ?

Chaitra: No, please..

Vimal: Ok … ok.. but who is he ?

Chaitra: He is my cousin from Mumbai. He wanted me to accompany him for shopping and sight seeing. He insisted to visit the beach on way back to home. I didn’t know his intentions and when he saw we were alone, he proposed me but I denied his proposal. I never thought of him in such a way. He got triggered that I rejected so he tried to force me to accept his proposal.

Vimal hit the steering on hearing and seeing her once again cry he pat her head and passed the tissue to wipe her tears.

Vimal: I will drive you home and talk to your parents. Stay strong Chaitra, you aren’t alone and I m sure your parents will teach him a lesson.

Chaitra: Don’t please, its my mom and dad’s 25th anniversary in 5 days and that is the reason my relatives have arrived to celebrate in a grand way. I don’t want to spoil my parents happiness so I will sure tell them after their happiness. Just 5 more days, please.

Vimal: They won’t be happy after knowing you were suffering all these 5 days all alone. They will understand and may be I can talk to them and get rid of him alone without spoiling the plans for their anniverasary.

Chaitra: Please, I will be fine, I just need some time before I return home.

Vimal: Aadhi will be busy since she is leaving to Norway and Malini must be in college so do you mind staying at my home until you are ready to leave to your home ? You will be safe Chaitra.

Chaitra bobed her head and Vimal drove to his home. As soon as they reached his home he lead her inside and guided her to be seated in the living. He rushed to the kitchen and returned with a bottle of water for her. He sat opposite to her and only then he noticed the scratch on her elbow so he rushed to his bed room and returned with first aid kit.

Vimal: You have scratches on your elbow Chaitra, shall I aid to it ?

Chaitra noticed the scratches and Vimal knelt before at her a safe distance to reach her and aided her injury.

Vimal: You should have scatched his face and plucked out his eyes. What is the use in wearing heels if you can’t use it to kick him ? No men is stronger than women Chaitra so stay strong and fight for yourself.

Chaitra: I fought him and that is the reason he failed in his attempt to kiss me.

Vimal: That bastard.. give me his mobile number..

Chaitra was about to deny but Vimal passed his mobile to her to feed her cousin’s number so without any option Chaitra dialed his number and returned the mobile to Vimal.

Vimal: Forget this day happened and even that you gave me his number. He won’t disturb you so relax and enjoy your parents’s big day.

Vimal once again made his way to kitchen and returned with a bowl of ice cream and passed it to her.

Vimal: Have this ice cream and I will back in a while. Feel comfortable, this is your home too.

Vimal entered his room and sent a message to the number Chaitra gave him. He entered the washroom to wash his face and relaxed before he arrived in the living but his mood turned sour on seeing Manjari at the threshold. Chaitra rose to her feet on seeing Manjari who was glaring at her. Vimal did not speak a word to Manjari and he turned his attention to Chaitra.

Vimal: Sit down Chaitra, feel comfortable.

Manjar: Wow, so you do everything behind my back and act as if you are a saint. How long have yo been doing this ?

Both Vimal and Chaitra were shocked on hearing her words. Chaitra felt bad that she put Vimal in an embarrassing situation. She mumbled sorry and was about to leave but Vimal held her hand elbow stopping her from leaving.

Vimal: Chaitra, you are not in a right state to leave now so don’t mind and please be seated.

He sauntered to Manjari and dragged her to the room that was in the ground floor and locked the door.

Vimal: How dare you speak such filthy words in front of her ? She is Aadhi’s best friend, she has taken care of my sister when she had to stay away from her family and husband, all thanks to the deeds you did in her life. I hate talking to you and fuck I hate being in the same room with you now but I m doing this for the girl who happened to face a harrassment just an hour back. I saved her and let her stay here for a while until she is ready to leave for her home.

Manjari: Nice story, she was harrassed and you were on time to save her. You brought her to our home rather than sending her to her parents.

Vimal: You will never change and this is my home the moment you wanted divorce from me so be my guest and stay out of my matters.

Manjari: So, she is more important than me to you ?

Vimal: Any doubt ? You will out of my life the moment I will serve  you with the divorce papers so who are you to me ?

Manjari: You are not even ready to convince or fight with me and I see you are ready to divorce me already as if you were waiting for this chance.

Vimal: What did you think that I will come begging to you ? You thought I would coax you, spend my money buying you gifts, take you on dates and even fuck you to hold you back in my life ? I knew you were mentally sick and didn’t want to have a baby anytime soon. Looks like that is the only right decision I ever made.

Manjari: I don’t want a divorce, throw her out now.

Vimal: You must be kidding right ? The divorce will happen at any cost. I will throw you out of my life.

Manjari: You are fool Vimal, let me remind you that your favourite sister Aadhi is married to my brother. Divorcing me is ruining her life.

Vimal: Your father, mother, Rishi and even my parents have changed except for the dog’s tail and thats you. Rishi will stand against the world, not for my sister but for his wife. I don’t want you out of this room until Chaitra is here or you will see the worst of me and trust me, I will make sure that  you will regret the day we met for the first time.

Vimal walked out slamming the door and saw Chaitra standing in the porch. He was sure she heard everything so without a word he stood next to her with his hands in his pocket. Chaitra felt bad on seeing Vimal’s face. She knew Manjari was a witch but on seeing everything happening before her eyes she felt bad for Vimal. She knew Vimal was very kind and caring person just like Aadhi and she felt he doesn’t deserve such a horrible life partner and a life where he got only pain and hurt.

Chaitra: I m sorry….

Vimal: Don’t be, I trust you with my secrets.

Chaitra: You saved me and I will be happy to help you in any way. You can call me and I will be happy to hear your rantings. You can pour your heart if that will help you feel better. Don’t bottle up everything as if you are alone.

Vimal smiled at her words and bobed his head. Chaitra insister on leaving since the situation wasn’t good so Vimal drove her back and dropped at a safe distance near by home.

At night Aadhi and Rishi boarded their flight to Norway for their honeymoon.
