Chapter 5

Recap: Vaishnavi request for a job and Reyansh let her to stay at his home and work for him.

Reyansh and Mithun arrived at the hospital the next morning after Mithun dragged Reyansh away not letting him to stay the night the previous evening. Mithun chuckled on seeing the grumpy face of Reyansh and was receiving his cold treatment since night.

As they entered the room Reyansh saw Vaishu wearing a salwar and combing her long hair. Looking at Reyansh and Mithun she quickly draped a shawl tied her hair into a bun yet she looked beautiful in the simple dress up.

He moved past her and saw the babies awake. He carried the boy and Mithun carried the girl as they settled on the couch.

Reyansh: Vaishnavi, did the doctor check on you and babies this morning ?

She nodded her head and mumbled a yes which was hardly heard.

Mithun: Let me go check if we can leave. Until then hold this little angel. I will take her back once I m back.

Reyansh glared at him and Mithun shrugged leaving the room. Vaishnavi nudged Asha and Reyansh saw her trying to say something.

Reyansh: What is it Asha maa ?

Asha: She is worried that she is left with nothing and couldn’t pay the bills now but she wants to know the amount so that she will repay once she starts working.

Reyansh’s smile dropped hearing those words and to avoid the discussion he laid the babies in the crib and walked out of the room.

Asha: I told you not to have this discussions. He is really nice and helps the people around him a lot. Money is not a matter to him. He is really happy around the babies and let him do that which helps you and him as well.

Vaishu: Will his family be ok with me staying at his home ?

Asha: Sorry, I never told you about him. He has only me and Mithun. His parents were dead when he was a teen boy. So there is no one to question his decisions.

Vaishu: How will I thank him for everything he does to me and my babies ?

Asha: Thank him. I mean look at him and thank him. Don’t stop him from coming near the babies.

Mithun returned to the room with a smile followed by Reyansh and informed that they could leave. Vaishnavi carried her baby boy and Reyansh carried the baby girl and they left the hospital. Mithun felt his heart exploding in happiness as he watched Reyansh and Vaishnavi like a couple holding a baby in their hands. Asha’s eyes turned moist and Mithun nudged her not to show her emotions. When they reached the parking Asha, Vaishnavi got in the back seat and Reyansh in the passenger seat and Mithun drove the car.

Mithun stopped the car in the porch and decided to park the car in the garage but decided against it when the security came running and informed the arrival of the person he hated the most.

Reyansh: Didn’t you inform her ?

Mithun: How will I know she would come crashing here without calling to check on you. Go better handle her and I will take Vaishu and babies to their room.

Reyansh sighed and gave the baby to Mithun and before he could enter inside Lavanya came out and threw herself on Reyansh. Mithun cleared his throat with loud sound. she removed herself away from Reyansh and saw everyone  especially at Vaishu and the babies.

Lavanya: Rey baby, who is this ? And the babies ?

Mithun: Vaishu lets go inside follow me.

Lavanya: Mithun, I asked a question.

Mithun: Rey will answer that. We can’t keep the babies outside for a long time.

Mithun started walking and Asha led Vaishu inside the home who hesitated after Lavanya’s question. Mithun placed the baby in the crib and let Vaishu to place the baby too in the crib. Reyansh informed Lavanya to wait in his room and rushed to the guest room but stopped on hearing Vaishu’s words.

Vaishu: Mithun anna, naa venum na poren. Ennala yedhuvum prechana vara venam. Avar yerkanave neraya senju irukaru. ( Mithun brother, May be I will leave from here. I don’t want any problem to arise because of me. He has already done a lot to me )

Mithun: Vaishu, nee enna anna nu solra la appo inga dhan irukkanum. Unnala yendha problem um varadhu.  ( Vaishu, you call me brother so you will stay here only. There will never be a problem because of you )

Asha: Aama Vaishu theva illama yosikadha. Rest edu naa poi unakku sapda yedhachum kondu varen. ( Yes Vaishu, don’t think unnecessary things. Take rest and I will go get something for you to eat )

Vaishu: Aasha maa, avanga ? ( Asha maa, she ?)

Asha: No one important. She calls herself as Rey’s girlfriend but Rey is not serious about her. Just casual so ignore her.

She was about to speak but Reyansh entered the room and looked at Mithun and Asha to leave the room and they did.

Reyansh: This is my home and I decide who stays here and who doesn’t so stop worrying about anyone else. She is no one to me and will not show up anymore. Relax, feel comfortable and ask Asha maa if you need anything or you can call me anytime. Take care of yourself and little ones.

For the first time Vaishu looked at him and Reyansh thought she will avert her gaze quickly like she did everytime but she looked into his eyes as she spoke.

Vaishu: Thank you so much sir. I m so grateful to you for saving me and my babies. I m sorry too for causing so much trouble and you had to waste your time on us. I can’t compensate for what you did to me but I will start working as soon as possible and be a loyal employee to you.

As soon as she finished she closed her eyes and he could see her gulping down. From the way she spoke he guessed she had prepared in advance to speak those words to him and looking at her closed eyes he smiled moving past her and saw the babies asleep.

Reyansh: I will take my leave have some rest.

On hearing the fading of his foot steps she opened her eyes and saw the room which was so big with a queen size bed, TV, fridge some toys for the babies. She sat on the bed and looked at her babies worrying about the fate’s play in her life.

Reyansh was stopped by Mithun and he dragged Reyansh away to another room and closed the door.

Mithun: what are you planning to tell Lavanya ?

Reyansh: She knows very well that she has no rights to question me so I will handle her.

Mithun: Idiot, don’t say anything which reflects as if you care for Vaishu or her her babies. We don’t want Lavanya to cross her path with Vaishu.

Reyansh agreed and entered his room in the first floor. Lavanya closed the door and hugged him kissing his cheek.

Reyansh as always felt disgusted towards her cringe behavior and removing himself he walked passed her.

Lavanya: Rey, who is that girl and those babies ?

Reyansh: She got hit in my car and Asha maa is very kind so she wanted to help her. I respect Asha maa a lot so let the girl to stay here and help Asha maa in her works.

Lavanya: Ohh, new maid ?

Reyansh gritted his teeth as she referred Vaishu as maid. He did not reply but picked his clothes to bath saying that he just returned from the hospital and needed to fresh up. He stood under the shower his mind going back to the angel.

Reyansh Mv: Why can’t I remove her from my mind ? She is invading my mind completely and I’m losing myself completely in those eyes. Will I be able to let her in my life ? What if I break her further? Do I deserve someone pure like her ? What if she too leave me alone some day and I end up being alone again?

When he walked out of the washroom he saw Lavanya on the bed stripped off and wearing only his tie around her neck. Reyansh remembered his words to Mithun the night he met Vaishu.

Reyansh: Kaal la vizhundhu enna kalyanam pannika solren. Kadaisi vara ava oruthi kooda mattum life spend panren. Avala thavira vera yaraiyum pakka kooda matten promise podhuma ? ( I will fall at her feet and ask her to marry me. I will spend all my life only with her. I will never even look at someone other than her. promise .Enough .. ???)

He wanted to throw Lavanya out but Mithun’s words stopped him from doing anything so he calmed himself and walked away without looking at Lavanya leaving her frustrated. She got down from the bed and stopped him sneaking her hand under his towel to hold his shaft but Reyansh stopped her advances and removed her hand before she touched him.

Reyansh: Lavanya, I m not feeling well so let me rest. I m really exhausted after days of not having a wink of sleep.

Lavanya: Why did you stay awake for her ?

Reyansh: It was not her. I had to handle my business to start its routine after the income tax raid. I still have lot of things to be taken care and really need to rest now.

Lavanya: Are you really serious of leaving me untouched after seeing me star naked waiting for you ?

Reyansh: Absolutely serious.

Lavanya: Its been a week we had each other and I really miss those long nights.

Reyansh: Get used to it because I will be leaving India on a business trip tomorrow and not sure when I will return.

Lavanya: Then take me with you.

Reyansh: Fucking stop annoying like you are my girl friend Lavanya. Didn’t we made it clear that what we do is just casual fuck with no strings attached. You wanted money, sex and I wanted some information from your father and  there is nothing more between us.

Let me remember you that I don’t do commitments and relationship. Commitments, family, love and care are not my cup of tea. So now make your way out and never show up here.

Lavanya started dressing cursing him and left from there. Reyansh sat on the bed raking his fingers through his hair. He got dressed and was about to lay on the bed but stopped as he remembered Lavanya laying on the bed naked.

Reyansh: Don’t know whom she fucked before coming here. I can’t sleep on this and get any germs that might infect the babies..

He removed the sheets, pillow covers and called the maids informing them to clean and sanitize his room and to change all the covers, curtains immediately.
