Chapter 20

Recap: Reyansh and Vaishu have a conversation when she denies his proposal.

Reyansh looked at Vaishu not understanding what she meant but he couldn’t see her crying.

Reyansh: Avi, stop crying first and hear me please angel. I can’t see you in tears Avi. Look at me please.

His eyes turned moist looking at her tears. Ignoring his own pain and tears he wiped her tears and pressed a long kiss on her forehead.

Reyansh: Everything will be alright Avi. Calm down and relax.

Vaishu: Ansh, can’t you understand what I said ? I m a frigid girl with androphobia. I can’t give you any pleasure as a wife. My own husband drugged me to have sex because I didn’t react to him and was scared to his touch. I didn’t know about this until he tried to touch me for the first time when he took me on our honeymoon. Two days .. just two days and he gave up on me. Third day he drugged me and … and … I lost it. After that night he never even came in the room I lived.

Reyansh laughed throwing his head and Vaishu cast her eyes at the floor feeling so little of herself. Reyansh stopped laughing and lifted her chin with his forefinger.

Reyansh: So you thought I will run away like that bastard did or even drug you like he did ? Will you be ok if I give in writing that I m ready to live all my life a celibate with just you by side ? Or will you be ok if I promise you ? Reyansh will die but never go back on his promise.

Vaishu: Its easy to say Ansh. I m being practical here and you might be ready to live a life as celibate but I will die in guilt for pulling you into my life. I m already a mess and I don’t wish to get you into it. You will be ruined.

She moved the seat back and got up to leave. Before she opened the door she turned to him.

Vaishu: Think well and better find someone for you who is not a broken girl like me, not a frigid girl like me. Don’t ever think low of yourself because of your past. You deserve only the best Ansh.

She left closing the door and Reyansh started pacing in the room. Vaishu waited in the dining to serve lunch to him but he didn’t show up. She thought of calling him but decided against it and left on his own to think about their conversation.

An hour later she saw Mithun returning from office and entering the study directly. Within a few minutes he came out with Reyansh behind him and Reyansh left the home without speaking a word to her. Mithun reached the dining and smiled at Vaishu.

Mithun: What happened to him ? All of a sudden he called me and wanted me to return home.

Vaishu: Must have realized the truth.

Mithun: What truth ?

Vaishu: Nothing. Might have felt that I would need someone to help me in taking care of Ishu and Ishi.

Mithun: Yes, serve me lunch and then I will go play with them. Did Rey have lunch ?

Vaishu: No, he was on a call and asked for a coffee. He didn’t come out of the study after that.

Mithun: Ok then I will wait for him to return and we will have together. Sure you would have also not eaten without him.

Vaishu then realized she hasn’t eaten and she had got used to have her food in his presence with them serving each other. She had become used to chatting with him. He was the only person who had started listening to her talks even if they were about some useless things. She entered the study and saw the coffee and the tablets left as it is. She returned to her room and saw Mithun playing and talking with the babies.

Reyansh drove his car and stopped before a boutique. Wearing a mask he entered inside and was welcomed by his stylist Neelam. Giving a side hug to her they entered her cabin.

Neelam: What is the special event that got boss directly over here instead of shooting orders over call ?

Reyansh: I want the best of the saree collection so thought of choosing them myself.

Neelam: Saree ? my my…Who is that someone special who made her entry in your life ?

Reyansh: You will get to know at the right time so now can we look at the collections ? Get me only the best of the best.

Neelam made a bow and took him with her to a room where mannequins draped with sarees were placed.

Neelam: These are my new collection and yet to be released for my customers. I m sure you would love or we can make custom design too. Take your time and have a look at it..

Neelam left the room and Reyansh looked at the sarees. He stood before a mannequin draped with a multicolor saree with dark pink floral crochets in the border. He imagined Vaishu in the saree.

Her slender waist looked beautiful with the flowers contrast with her skin and the saree. He smiled and moved on to a purple saree with purple lace border and random lines of purple zari all over it.

Reyansh: She will look like an angel in this…

One by one he almost chose all the sarees from the collection and called Neelam.

Neelam: Which one should I pack boss ?

Reyansh: Everything, my girl will look stunning in everyone of this.

Neelam: You are head over heels already. How about you take a look on something else too. I m sure you would love them for your honeymoon. Follow me please.

Reyansh followed her to a different room and Neelam stopped by the door and let him go on himself. He saw three mannequins dressed in lingerie.

He stood before the first one and saw the silk material that stopped by the thigh and a bow tied to the chest. He pulled one end of the bow which unveiled the naked front of the mannequin.

Just the thought of that on Vaishu and him unveiling her treasures turned him on.

Reyansh: This is fucking marvellous.

He moved on to the next one which was completely covered in the front and he walked behind it and saw a hook clasping the material around the neck. He unclasped the hook and the entire material pooled at the mannequin’s feet.

Reyansh: I don’t want to walk with a fucking tent infront of Neelam.

He couldn’t get over the dirty thoughts from his mind and rubbed his face and took breathes to calm himself. He walked out of the room and Neelam chuckled on seeing his ear that has turned red.

Neelam: Your ears says that I should pack them too. Few minutes and I will get it done. Reyansh nodded his head and got seated taking a catalogue from her table to have a look at it.

Neelam returned with her assistant carrying the bags and she billed them.

Reyansh: Neelam, I need a pure silk saree. Mail me a design with suitable color combinations and once I approve you can weave it. I will inform Mithun to deliver the gold and diamond crystals you will need to decorate it.

Neelam: gold and Diamond studded saree for the wife of the diamond merchant makes justice.

 Reyansh: And get me the best fur that can be used for new born babies and I want you to stitch a bunny jumpsuit which will suit 4 months old babies. One in pink and one in blue. From now on I want you to send clothes for babies of a boy and a girl every month. They will be 4 months in a few days. I will have my home manager to be in touch with you. I want a new dress for them every day.

Nealam: New dress every day ? Celebrity kids ?

Reyansh: Ofcourse they are celebrity kids. I don’t want them to repeat anything they wear.

Neelam: Can’t wait to see the lucky ones boss.

Reyansh Mv: Lucky will be me if she let me in her life.

Reyansh took the cheque book from his blazer and signed a leaf for Neelam. Her assistants placed the bags in his car and he drove to a baby’s store and bought some toys and dresses for his muffins until Neelam started her work for the babies.

On arriving home he informed the servants to place the bags in his room and carried the bags of toys and clothes for Ishaan and Ishika to the living and sat on the mattress next to them.

Mithun: where did you go for so long ? I have been dying in hunger and waiting for you. Vaishu has also not eaten her lunch.

Hearing her name he raised his head and took a look a her and she was fidgeting with her saree pallu looking at her lap.

Reyansh: I went shopping for my muffins.

He showed the toys to the babies and they were smiling at them.

Reyansh: Look at these new dresses I bought for you. Ishi, you will look like an angel in this and my Ishu will look like a charming prince. Tell your mother to dress you in this tomorrow or I will dress you myself. Did you have your milky ? Come lets go and not keep people in hunger because of me.

Mithun looked at Reyansh and Vaishu and their reactions proved something happened. He didn’t want to dig into their personal atleast not when they are in fight so he ignored and they all entered the dining.

Reyansh called the maids to serve and Vaishu sat opposite to him. They all had their lunch in a complete silence.

Mithun: Enna oru marana amaidhi .. ( what a deadly silence ?)

A glare from Reyansh he shut his mouth and once they were done he walked away to his room but stopped in the middle of the stairs calling a maid towards him.

Reyansh: Inform Vaishu to get me a cup of coffee and tablets for head ache.

Maid: Sure sir

Reyansh took the bags of the lingerie and placed them in his wardrobe leaving the saree bags on his bed.

The maid entered Vaishu’s room and conveyed the message to her.

Vaishu Mv: He never takes coffee after lunch so what happened now ? Is he still having head ache? Ofcourse he will have headache. He should have atleast taken the tablet before he left home.

Even after she uttered all the words to him to stay away from her and find someone else for him she couldn’t stop from caring for him and see his pain. Without second thought she entered the kitchen and made a coffee for him but instead of taking it by herself she sent the maid with a coffee and the tablets. The maid knocked on the door and Reyansh called her in assuming it to be Vaishu. On seeing the maid he lost his cool and lashed out on her.

Reyansh: Are you Vaishu ?

Maid: No sir, Vaishu sent me to give you the coffee and tablets.

Reyansh: Get out and let her bring the coffee.

She scurried away and informed Vaishu about Reyansh lashing out and passed the tray in her hand. Vaishu sighed and took the tray herself and knocked on the door to his room. On hearing his faint come in she opened the door and entered inside.

She placed the tray on the teapoy and searched for him in the room.

Reyansh: I m behind you Avi…

She turned around and saw Reyansh locking the door and standing leaning on it with his hands folded to his chest. She hurried to the door and tried to unlock it but he stood before her stopping her.

Vaishu: Move Reyansh, let me go..

Reyansh: You can leave but I need to talk to you. I will let you go once I m done.

Vaishu: There is nothing to talk anymore. We had done all the talkings in your study,

Reyansh: You were done with your talks but I m not done yet so sit down on the couch and we will talk. Mithun will take care of my muffins.

Vaishu tried to push him but he pushed her to the wall next to the door and locked her hands to her sides. He closed his eyes and pressed his forehead against hers.

Reyansh: Stay Avi please.. I need to talk…
