Chapter 26

Recap: Reyansh save Vaishu from Nikhil and thrash him for touching her. Later he takes care of her.

Two days later Nikhil was found dead in a car crash in Delhi and everyone was shocked to the news. Vaishu never watched news so she was not aware of it.

A month passed and with Reyansh by her side Vaishu was able to get over the trauma and their relationship took a leap now being comfortable with each other. Vaishu enjoyed every moment of being with him and no longer stopped him when he hugged or kissed her.

Reyansh felt the change in Vaishu and left no chance to flirt with her. The no. of hugs and kisses on the cheek and forehead increased multifolds. Still he restrained from crossing his limits and enjoyed the phase of changes happening between them.

Ishaan and Ishika had Reyansh wrapped around their fingers and he forgets everything being around them. Mithun had made many videos of them playing together and now their kicks was the one Reyansh started enjoying very much and the new play they had started was Reyansh let them kick his face and kiss their sole in the process which they did enjoying. He bought many toys with lights and sound that attracted them to attempt to roll on to their stomach.

It was another day Vaishu was pacing in her room with Ishika in her arms, trying to put her to sleep. Reyansh entered the room and hugged her from behind trying to play peek a boo with Ishika.

Vaishu: Ansh, stop please. I m trying to put her to sleep. She has been playing for a long time. I m tired.

Reyansh: If you are tired give her to me. I will never be tired to play with my princess.

Vaishu: You are spoiling them too much. They are always in the mood of playing these days. Let her sleep and you can play later.

Reyansh: ok madam.. surrendered.. Muffin go to sleep jaan…

He sat on the couch scrolling through the mobile and once Ishika was asleep Vaishu laid her on the bed and placed pillows around her.

Reyansh: They have started moving a lot so how about we remove the cot and have the mattress on the floor for safety purpose ? We can make it more decorative with colourful pillows and soft toys for them.

Vaishu: hmmm good idea.

Reyansh: Or we can still have the cot and we both can sleep with them between us. I would love that so what say ?

Vaishu: Will you ever stop flirting ?

Reyansh placed his mobile and ambled to her who was standing before the mirror. He hugged her from behind with their cheek pressed together and he rocked her gently.

Reyansh: I m not flirting Avi.. I really meant it. I can’t wait for the day to have you all three with me without any limitations. I m still waiting for your reply in words though you made it clear already.

He placed a kiss on her temple and whined a little for reply and Vaishu giggled to his actions.

Reyansh: When will you reply me ?

Vaishu: hmmm. Expect in an unexpected time.

He got excited and turned her to face him and snaked his hand around her waist and Vaishu had her palm over his chest stroking gently. He traced her lips with his thumb and looked into her eyes.

Reyansh: We will celebrate the moment you say your reply in words Avi. I can’t wait for it. I will reward these lips with thousands of kisses.

Vaishu blushed and pushed him out. Reyansh left the room chuckling.  Vaishu laid on the bed and thought about his words which were on her mind already.

Vaishu: How will I say those words just like that Ansh ? I should make something special but what should do ? You have everything that I can’t think of buying a gift and again I can’t go out to buy something. Lunch or special dinner ? No, I cook most of the day and there won’t be anything special in that. Think Vaishu… get some idea to impress him.

She slept thinking of ideas and by morning she woke up happily with an idea in her mind and called Mithun to her room. She gave him a list of things to be bought secretly without knowing to Reyansh and he agreed to it.

She entered Reyansh’s room when he was in the study and selected one of his favourite shirts and returned to her room. Mithun gave her the things she wanted and she took Ishaan and Ishika to Reyansh’s study and saw him working.

Vaishu: Are you busy Ansh ?

Reyansh: Not for you and muffins Avi. What happened ?

Vaishu: Can you take care of them sometime. I feel sleepy and a nap would help.

Reyansh smiled and took them with him and Vaishu returned to her room and started embroidering his shirt sneakily. She was lost in the work and it was already two hours. Hearing footsteps she hid everything below the cot and laid on the bed closing her eyes and covered herself with a duvet.

Reyansh entered the room and saw her sleeping.

Reyansh: Your mamma is sleeping so lets not disturb her and get formula milk for you. Lets go..

Vaishu Mv: Sorry Ansh.. I should complete this today so that I can surprise you tomorrow.

Once he left she continued for another one hour and stopped to complete the rest at night. She reached the living and saw Reyansh on the mattress with Ishaan and Ishika sleeping cuddling into each other, his arms wrapped around them safely.

Vaishu: I m sorry I slept for long. I will take them to bed and you make yourself comfortable.

Reyansh: I will be in study for sometime. I have a half yearly meet with the heads of department tomorrow.

Vaishu: You will not be at home tomorrow ?

Reyansh: You want me at home tomorrow ?

Vaishu: Get lost, always annoying me with questions.

Reyansh: Ok, I m sorry tell me if you have anything to say.

Vaishu: Nothing I will be prepared to manage them in your absence.

Reyansh: I will be back before evening. Put them to sleep in the afternoon and I will take care after returning.

Vaishu: Ok..

She returned to her room and Reyansh saw Mithun standing and looking at him.

Reyansh: What ? Why do you look like that ?

Mithun: Are you sure you both are not married ? I still doubt you.

Reyansh: You will keep asking the same question even after our next baby will be born. Stop worrying about me and focus the new someone who has started distracting you.

Mithun coughed and left from there without replying to him. That night Vaishu stayed awake and completed the embroidery. Sheplaced the shirt on the bed and took a look at ” Avi’s Ansh” on the chest and  ” Muffin’s daddy” on the back of the shirt.

She touched the work she did wholeheartedly and placed a kiss over them with a smile.

Vaishu: I hope you will love this and the new beginning for us brings only happiness to all of us. I cannot fight my feelings for you anymore Ansh. You wanted me to say those words first right ? Then listen I love you Ansh… love you so much. I will say this when you realize my answer after wearing this shirt. Come back soon from office and I will prepare a dinner for us to make the moment even more special and I want you to wear this for the dinner.

She folded the shirt neatly and placed it in the draw of the night stand and returned to sleep as it was already late.

She woke up at 9 and hurriedly got ready to see Reyansh but saw a sticky note on her mirror.

” Missed seeing you awake this morning Avi… You looked so peaceful and didn’t want to disturb. Will return at the earliest possible. Take care of muffins and miss me until then… special kisses.. wink “

She blushed and kissing the note she placed it safely in the draw and left the room after getting ready. Asha was feeding the babies and Vaishu pouted sitting next to her.

Vaishu: I have become so lazy Asha maa. You should have woke me up.

Asha maa: Nothing wrong in enjoying a little extra sleep. Also we all love taking care of Ishu babies. Reyansh fed them fed before he left for office. Now have breakfast and I m going to the garden for a walk and will take them with me.

Vaishu: You had breakfast ?

Asha maa: I had Vaishu. I will leave and be back if they are asleep.

Vaishu nodded her head and watched Asha pushing the stroller out of home. She served breakfast and was half way through finishing it when a hand grabbed hers. She jerked and saw Lavanya holding her hand and tried to yank but Lavanya held in a tight grip.

Vaishu: What are you doing Lavanya ? Let go of me and Reyansh is not home.

Lavanya: I know he is not home and I m here to talk to you.

Lavanya pulled Vaishu to the room and closed the door. 10 minutes later the door opened and she left with a smile. Vaishu sat like a corpse with tears in her eyes cursing her fate for betraying her every time and snatching away every happiness from her.

Asha who watched Lavanya’s car leaving rushed inside and hearing the sound of the stroller Vaishu quickly entered the washroom and returned after cleaning her face.

Asha: Vaishu, why did she come here ?

Vaishu: She wanted to meet Reyansh and I told her that he has gone to office so she can come some other day or meet him at his office.

Asha: What does that witch wants from him when he announced cut and clear that she must not enter this home ?

Vaishu: Let them talk Asha maa. How do we know what matter she has to discuss.

Asha hummed and Vaishu took the babies to put them sleep and once Asha left the room she broke into tears.

By evening Reyansh returned home and quickly refreshed to meet his muffins and Avi. He entered her room and saw Ishaan and Ishika asleep and Vaishu folding her clothes. He hugged her and placed a chaste kiss on her cheek.

Vaishu gave a weak smile and he tried to cup her cheek but Vaishu held his hand.

Vaishu: Ansh, shall we speak now.. in your room. I want to give my answer.

Reyansh: Seriously Avi ? My god. lets go. Should I carry you in my arms ?

Vaishu’s heart broke looking at his excitement and pushed him out following to his room. On reaching his room Reyansh closed the door and Vaishu sat on the couch while Reyansh sat next to her twirling her hair in his finger.

Vaishu: Ansh, I have a condition and you must fulfill it.

Reyansh: Anything you say darling. Just say it already.

Vaishu gulped and fidgeted with her pallu with her eyes cast on the floor.

Vaishu: I agree to your second option Ansh. I will let you adopt Ishaan and Ishika.
