Chapter 29

Recap: Reyansh plans to retain Lavanya at his home until his PI found evidence against her. Later Mithun finds something about Lavanya.

Reyansh woke up in the morning and saw Ishaan and Ishika sleeping peacefully covered with the duvet and kissed their foreheads. He called Mithun to stay by them and entered the washroom to get ready. Vaishu entered his room and her eyes searched for Reyansh but felt disappointed to see him missing. She took Ishu babies with her and Mithun returned to his room to get ready.

Dressed in his formal shirt and pant, Reyansh entered Vaishu’s room with a bag in his hand and saw her and Asha wiping the body of Ishaan and Ishika with towel after giving a bath to them. He placed the bag on the bed and taking the towel from Asha he started wiping Ishaan’s body.

Vaishu got their dresses and together they got them dressed and none of them spoke a word. Reyansh placed a kiss on the babies cheek and mumbled a sorry to them.

Reyansh: Asha maa will stay with mufins and I have informed driver to get you to the engagement venue in the evening.

Vaishu: Ansh, please. I can’t come.

Reyansh: If you want the engagement to happen then come dressed in this saree else there won’t be any engagement happening.

He hugged Vaishu with his face buried in the crook of her neck.

Reyansh: Avi, we still have time so please think again and call me anytime. I will come back running into your arms.

Placing a kiss on her temple he left the room and Vaishu slumped on the floor breaking into tears. Reyansh left home and drove to his office and planned to reach the resort in the evening where the engagement was planned.

Through out the day Vaishu was like a corpse doing nothing except for feeding Ishaan and Ishika and Asha took care of them. By evening Asha entered Vaishu’s room and saw her crying. She pulled her to a hug and patted her back to console her.

Asha: You wanted this to happen Vaishu so stop crying. Go feed the babies and get ready. I m not feeling good so I will visit the nearby temple and will be back in sometime before you leave for the engagement.

Vaishu nodded her head and Asha left from there. Vaishu fed the babies and took the saree from the bag Reyansh gave her.

Vaishu: This saree is so beautiful Ansh. Wish we were getting engaged and I would have got ready in this saree with so much of excitement.

She got changed into the saree with great difficulty as the saree weighed a little. Ishika started crying and she rocked Ishika in her arms when one of the maids knocked on the door.

Maidu: Madam someone is here and wanted to meet Reyansh sir. We told them he is not at home but seems like they got some package from the showroom for him so can you look at that ?

Vaishu: ok come lets go.

She followed the maid with Ishika in her arm to the living and saw two men standing with some package in their hand.

Vaishu: Yes, who are you and what is the package you wanted to deliver ?

Man1: This is special package Mr. Reyansh has asked for and we were suppose to deliver this by morning but got late.

Vaishu: Its ok you can leave it with me and I will hand over it to him. Right now he is busy so don’t disturb him or his assistants.

She turned to the maid to inform her to receive the package but before that one of the men yanked Ishika from her hold and Vaishu screamed and started hitting him to let go of Ishika. The two men ran out with Ishika and Vaishu ran behind them but they were too fast to leave in the car which was ready waiting for them.

Vaishu and the securities ran behind the car but the car drove out in a lightning speed. Vaishu was crying and she rushed back into the home and called Asha from the landline to return home immediately.

The Blue moon resort was dazzling with the fairy lights and tables and chairs filled the wide open space for the guest. A small stage was set and decorated with flowers from ceiling and a love seat was placed. A lavish buffet dinner with drinks was set up for the guest.

In the room Reyansh was ready in a three piece suit and looked at the ring in the box that was on the table before him. All he could think was the innocent face of Vaishu and her eyes that held so much of pain that screamed to care and protect her. Those smiles of the little bundle of joys that lit up his world. All those moments he spend with the little wonders broke his heart and he wanted nothing but scream at everyone and ruin all the arrangements to run back to his home where he could spend his time looking at Vaishu and play with the little ones his muffins..

Reyansh: Its been only a few hours and I m missing you and the little ones already but what should I do. I m doing what is right for all of us but I swear to be there for you and my muffins. I can’t do this but I have no other way….

A knock on the door interrupted his trance and he barked a come in knowing who was at the door. Mithun entered with a pissed face and threw some papers before Reyansh.

Mithun: Vaishu has found a place and she is planning to leave. I think its for everyone’s good that she will leave. Do I need to remember you that your muffins will also leave with her..

Reyansh caught Mithun’s collars pulling him close and gritted his teeth.

Reyansh: My muffins will not leave me and I will do anything to let them stay with me.

Mithun: What about Vaishu ? Do you think her world revolves around you ? She is young and deserve a life partner who will take care of her and her little ones. If you have decided that you will not be the one then let her go and may be I will find someone to be in her life. After all I gave her the place of being a best friend.

A punch landed on Mithun’s jaw and Reyansh screamed at him.

Reyansh: You will not do anything that will distance her from me. She will not….leave me.. I won’t let her.

Mithun: Then stop this engagement and go back to her. Do you think this witch will let her stay at your place once you put the ring on her finger ? She will kill Vaishu and the babies just to have you for herself. Either let Vaishu go so that she will be alive wherever she is or stop this engagement and go confess your love for Vaishu. Don’t be a coward and open your feelings to her.

Reyansh: What do you think, she will accept me with open arms ?

Their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the open door followed by the words ” Its time Rey, come on guest are waiting “.

They saw Lavanya standing by the door and Mithun shook his head but Reyansh sighed and adjusted his hair and blazer before he picked the ring in his hand. With a final look at Mithun, Reyansh walked out of the room.

At home Vaishu was crying and her hands were trembling in fear and stress. She looked at her baby boy Ishaan who was sleeping on a baby bed on the floor. Hearing the door bell she rushed and opened it. On seeing Asha, Vaishu hugged her bursting into tears.

Vaishu: Asha ma, yaro rendu peru Ishika va thookitu poitanga.. Naa evlo try pannen stop panna mudiyala..( Asha maa, some strangers took Ishika away… I tried to stop them but I couldn’t )

Asha panicked hearing it and started crying along with her but quickly took her mobile out to call someone.

Vaishu: Whom are you calling ?

Asha: Reyansh.. he will find our Ishika. He will go mad if we don’t let him know.

Vaishu: Asha maa, today he is getting engaged. Please don’t disturb him. Let us go to police station and take their help to find Ishika. Please don’t disturb him.

Asha: You are absolutely crazy Vaishu. You know how much he loves Ishaan and Ishika and he would do anything to protect them. I doubt if that witch has her hands in this. Reyansh doesn’t deserve such a cunning woman in his life. If you don’t care about the love he has for you atleast let him find Ishika.

Vaishu: No.. don’t call him. He deserves all happiness for all he did to me and my babies. I can’t ruin his day for my reason. Please understand I m no match to him and now I need to find my Ishika. If you don’t want to come with me then please stay home and take care of Ishaan and lock all the doors. I will go to police station on my own.

Asha: don’t do this Vaishu. You don’t decide on what Reyansh deserves and what not. Why can’t you see the way he looks at you.

Vaishu: that is what i m saying. Looks alone is not sufficient for two people to be together. He cares for us and I respect him a lot. Its a promise on me that you will not let him know about Ishika missing atleast not until his engagement is over.

Vaishu quickly took her purse and walked out of the home closing the door behind and Asha sat on the floor next to Ishaan and took him in his arms as she saw him sleeping.

Vaishu called the driver to take her to the police station but before that the security head rushed to her.

Security head: Madam, I called the police and they have tracked the car that has taken Ishi baby. I have also informed Mithun sir about baby being kidnapped. Please follow me and lets go.

Vaishu thanked god for Ishika being found and prayed for her well being as she followed the security head and got in the car with him.

Reyansh reached the garden and saw Lavanya and her family with friends having a great time laughing and chatting. He took steps towards them and Lavanya smiled looking at him while Lavanya’s father Giridharan side hugged Reyansh.

Giridharan: I m so happy today Reyansh.

Lavanya: Great you have arrived. Lets get on the stage now.

Reyansh stood in his without moving and looked at his watch. Just in time he heard Mithun screaming his name and running towards him with a panic struck on his face.

Lavanya: Rey, whatever it be let him wait until the engagement is over.

Mithun: fuck off you bitch… Rey, Ishika has been kidnapped..

Reyansh: Whattttttttttttt ??????????

Reyansh and Mithun turned to leave but Lavanya stood before Reyansh stopping him from leaving.

Lavanya: Rey, you can’t leave as it is. Let Mithun go look for the baby but let us complete the engagement.

Reyansh: Whose engagement ?

Lavanya: Stop Kidding Rey, let us get on to the stage now.

Reyansh pushed her and stormed from there with Mithun but they saw police entering along with the security head and Vaishu crying next to them. Reyansh pulled her to his embrace and looked at the inspector and his security head.

Security head: Sir, two men barged in our home and kidnapped Ishi baby. I called up police and they tracked the car and found it parked outside this resort.

Inspector: We will have to search the resort completely.

Reyansh: Lets go..

Reyansh pulled Vaishu along with him and started searching the resort. Vaishu saw the men who took Ishika in a room.

Vaishu: Ansh.. they took our Ishi..

Reyansh started punching them and the police who arrived there dragged them out of the room. Mithun came running with Ishika in his arm and Vaishu took her from him and hugged her placing kisses all over her face.

Mithun: I found her asleep in one of the rooms.

Reyansh took Ishika from Vaishu and kissed her forehead. Inspector caught the hair of the two men in a threatening way to enquire them.

Inspector: Why did you kidnap her ?

Man1: Sir, we were paid to kidnap the baby.

Reyansh passed Ishika to Vaishu and slapped the man holding his collars.

Reyansh: Who told you kidnap my baby ? Tell me or bloody I will kill you.

Man2: Sir, this woman Lavanya gave us money to kidnap the baby and to keep her hostage until the engagement is over. She initially wanted to take her somewhere else but later informed us to get the baby at this place so that no one doubt to search here.

Everyone including Lavanya was shocked hearing his confession. Reyansh took slow steps towards Lavanya and she shook her head as no but Reyansh gave her a slap and she fell to the floor with a thud.
