Chapter 38

Recap: Sethu succeed in his argument to postpone the hearing to 20 days. Sakshi return home after meeting Lavanya.

Jagan and his parents watched her horrified as Sakshi sat gritting her teeth in extreme annoyance. Jagan sat next to her placing his hand over her shoulder but she swat his hand away glaring at him.

Jagan: Sakshi stop with your bloody attitude and tell us what happened and what did Lavanya say to you.

Sakshi: I told her what happened at the court and she started lashing out for not being to able to start the case immediately and even failing to call for a sitting with Reyansh. She said that Reyansh must be planning something against all of us. He must be watching all our moves and digging all our history to turn the case against us. I told her we destroyed all the evidences but she looked at me like I m some sort of dirt.

She simply said that by giving him time we are not getting him in our trap but he got us in his trap and will tune us to act to his wishes. Every minute he will be planning something in this case.

Jagan’s mobile started ringing and he saw it was from his manager so he cut the call to speak later but he called again immediately.

Sakshi: Lavanya said us to answer every call from now on. It could be either a warning or his actions against us.

She informed him to answer the call and Jagan answered this time but froze hearing from him. He held his head with his palm sighing in annoyance.

Jagan: All the orders that Lavanya got us are taken back. They backed off saying they are not ready to do business with us anymore without any reason.

Leela: what have we got upon us ? Did we do wrong by listening to that girl ?

Sakshi: We cannot meet her anymore. She said that she got information that she might be shifted to CBI custody for further enquiry and couldn’t be met.

Jagan: Did she say something else ?

Sakshi: What else you wanted her to say ? We could have been happy with what we got from your ex wife but you had to listen to that bitch and now we all are in trouble. What if he found everything about us ?

Jagan: That you came as bitch in my married life with Vaishnavi ?

Sakshi: Mind you words Jagan. I didn’t come as a bitch. We were in love even before you got married to her. And you came to me because you didn’t want a life with her and wanted only me.

Sugumaran: Stop fighting you both. I don’t know if Reyansh or Lavanya who sowed the fear in us now but we shouldn’t fight among ourselves and instead try to find what could be his move against us and we should go a step ahead and stop him.

Leela: Hope the 20 days pass like a lightning and we could get over all this. Jagan, you said he is the richest man of our country. Tell me approximately what could be his bank balance.

Jagan: Bank balance ? Maa, he paid 1000 crore to kill Lavanya’s brother.

Leela fell unconscious on hearing it and Sukumaran’s jaw dropped in shock.

Sakshi: you made a wrong move Jagan.

Jagan: I know what I m doing and he could do anything against me but one day I will get him on his knees before me using the babies.

Sakshi: Lavanya said by now Reyansh would have got to know that I met her and even what we spoke. If that is the case will it take a long time for him to know what we discuss at home ?

Jagan stormed away ignoring her and Sakshi cursed Lavanya for involving them in all the troubles.

Reyansh and Mithun were in his study listening to the cop on the call who was playing the recording of Sakshi and Lavanya’s conversation. Reyansh thanked the cop for the recording and cut the call giving his attention to Mithun.

Reyansh: Mithun once she is taken under the custody of the CBI make sure to file a petition to restrict her meeting anyone which could divert the case or help her to clear the evidences.

Mithun: Ok. I have sent few of our PIs to join the clothing factory and our work will be done. Whoever dances to Jagan’s tune will be thrown out of the company.

They were disturbed by a knock on the door and a servant entered after getting permission to inform about the arrival of the manager from the store. Reyansh and Mithun came out of the study and he called Vaishu to get babies to the living.

Vaishu came with babies and Reyansh was immediately by her side and took Ishaan from her as they sat side by side along with Mithun on the couch with the manager opposite to them. The manager greeted Vaishu and smiled at the babies. Vaishu saw few boxes placed on the teapoy and cocked her eyebrows at Reyansh who only smiled at her.

Reyansh opened one of the box which had jewels for babies and Vaishu gasped looking at them. He picked the tiny gold anklets with jingles and clasped it around the ankles of the babies. Next he slid the gold bangles in their hands and hooked the gold chain around their neck. Holding their hands he kissed their knuckles and the bangles in their wrist caught their attention as they started looking at it.

Reyansh: I wanted to make everything in platinum and diamond but Asha maa said gold is the safe for babies at this stage.

Mithun: Wow, my niece and nephew are looking so gorgeous with all these jewels. Come lets go show to your granny.

Mithun took the babies with him and the manager left passing another box to Reyansh. Vaishu was still speechless on what she witnessed and looked at Reyansh. He winked at her and pulled her with him to the room holding the box in his hand.

Vaishu: Won’t you ask me why I haven’t said anything for buying jewels for Ishaan and Ishika ?

Reyansh: You won’t say anything because I m doing it for our babies.

He made her sit on the bed and placed the box next to her. Sitting opposite to her he opened the box revealing the many jewels in it. He removed the earring she was wearing and started adorning the jewels on her.

Vaishu: What happened to you today ? Why so many jewels Ansh ?

Reyansh: Avi, I know you like to be simple so I have got all these jewels with simple designs that you can wear for daily use.

He took her feet and placing it over his thighs he started clasping the anklet. Vaishu saw the anklet beautifully designed with stones all over and jingles making sound. For a moment she froze thinking about the metal the anklet could be made of.

Vaishu: Ansh, what stones are these ?

Reyansh: This is customized platinum anklet with diamonds and platinum jingles specially designed for my Avi.

Vaishu: What happened to you today ? Are you having plans to shift the store at home ?

Reyansh chuckled and pecked her lips putting the strand of hair behind her ear.

Reyansh: I m not done yet Avi and yes it is something special today. I will let you know but before that I would love to have a dance with you and hear the sweet jingles of the anklets as you move around.

He rose to his feet and pulled her holding her wrist and wrapped his hand around her bare waist. as she had her pallu tucked to her waist. Vaishu raised on her one feet and made sounds from the anklets looking into his eyes.

Reyansh chuckled hearing the lyrics and pecked her cheek tightening his hold around her waist and Vaishu blushed looking away.

Reyansh: Ivlo azhaga paatupaduna naa enna aaven Avi ? Already indha vekkathukku edhirikka mudiyadha alavukku vizhundhuten. ( What will happen to me if you sing so good ? I have fallen so deep to this blush of yours to the extent that I cannot get back to the old self)

Vaishu moved away from him but Reyansh caught her fingers and twirled her twice before pulling her to his chest with her back pressed to his front.

Vaishu pushed him and tried to run away but he pulled her and lifted her in air twirling slowly.

Reyansh: Do you know how much you are tempting me with these lines ? Let me show you.

Reyansh laid her on the bed hovering her. His palm tracing her face and slowly moved to her neck and stopped on her bosoms. He groped slowly and she moaned his name closing her eyes.

Reyansh: Vali miga idam sari dhane ? ( the no pain place, am I right ?)

His palm moved further down and Vaishu stopped him when his palm reached her lower abdomen.

Reyansh: Vali migum idam nenachu bayandhutiya ? Valikkama naa pathukuren. ( You got scared of the painful spot ? Don’t worry I will take care of being painless )

He leaned and started kissing her fervently and stopped only when she hit on his chest in need of air. Vaishu pushed him and got up from the bed panting for air. Reyansh looked at her red cheeks propped on his elbow.

Reyansh: you keep teasing me like this then I won’t be responsible if something happens before we get married.

Vaishu: I just sang the song now tell me what is the special occasion today.

Reyansh: You know to distract me at the right time. Come I will let you know the reason.

He intertwined his fingers with hers as they walked out of the room. They crossed the rooms which were closed without being used and stopped before one of the room. Taking a key out of his pocket he opened the door and lead Vaishu inside the room.

Reyansh: This is my parents room and I did not make any changes in this so the lock is still the same old one.

Vaishu stood before the portrait of his parents and touched their feet in it.

Vaishu: They look perfect together and amma looks very beautiful. She has dimple in her cheeks Ansh.

Reyansh felt happy that she addressed his mother as her mother too and nodded his head.

Reyansh: Yes, the dimples on Ishika’s cheeks reminds me of my mother so much. I used to poke my finger in my mother’s dimples when she smile.

Vaishu: You do that for Ishi too.

Reyansh nodded hid head and wrapped his hand around her shoulder showing all the things in the room. Once he was done he entered the closet and came back with a wooden box in his hand.

Reyansh: Avi, today is their anniversary and I want you to take what belongs to you. My mother would have given to you by herself if she was alive still she will be happy that I m giving it to you.

Vaishu opened the box and saw it was all heavy gold jewels of antique designs.

Vaishu: These are amma’s jewels is it ?

 Reyansh: Yes, every time she saw a special design she got it immediately saying that after her she will give everything to my wife. Even at the young age I used to blush when she used to say that she is saving these special jewels for my future wife.

Vaishu: Will they bless us Ansh ? I mean, will they be happy to have me in your life ?

Reyansh: They will be more than happy Avi. I believe they got you and muffins in my life. I can feel that very much. From now on you can enter this room anytime and make utilize of amma’s things to your wish.

He placed the key inside the wooden box and passed the box to Vaishu.

Vaishu: I don’t want to disturb anything in this room. Let it be the way how amma wanted it to be and we will preserve everything the same way.

Reyansh nodded his head and they returned to their room after locking his parents room. Vaishu returned to the room after placing the jewels in the closet and saw the servant at the threshold.

Servant: Sir, lawyer has arrived to meet you.

Reyansh: I will be there and get him refreshments until then.

Vaishu: Lawyer ? could it be related to the custody case ?

Reyansh: No Avi. He is our lawyer appointed by my father. I don’t know why he is here after so many years.

Reyansh and Vaishu reached the living and saw a old man sitting with a file. Reyansh greeted him with a hug and Vaishu welcomed him with folded hands.

Reyansh: How are you uncle ? Good to see you after so many years.

Lawyer: I m fine Reyansh.

Reyansh: Uncle, she is Vaishnavi my fiance. We are yet to announce officially for some reason.

Lawyer: Congrats both you. Good that I have come here at the right time then.

Reyansh and Vaishu looked at each other before giving attention to the lawyer who gave a file to Reyansh.

Lawyer: These are the documents of the lands and farms your mother has bought in her name. She wanted me to keep this a secret and give this to you after you get married or after you complete 28 years to remind you that you should get married.

Reyansh: My mom bought these lands ?

Lawyer: Yes but not for you. She has bought these lands for her daughter in law. I was supposed to be here on the day of your birthday but due to some emergency I couldn’t do it so decided to show up today to remind you to get married to your mother’s wish but you surprised me with your engagement.

Reyansh was excited to see the tears in Vaishu’s eyes and he placed the file in Vaishu’s hands.

Reyansh: You can get the papers to transfer the lands to Vaishnavi’s name. Send them through your assistant and Vaishu will sign them.

Lawyer smiled nodding his head and took a potli bag from the bag he carried with him. Standing up he ambled to Vaishnavi and gave the potli to her.

Vaishu looked at Reyansh not knowing what is happening and before either of them could question the lawyer clarified them.

Lawyer: This is the last work I was assigned to do by your mother and with this I m done with everything. This potli bag has jewels for your babies in future. Smart woman she planned everything before hand.

Vaishu closed her mouth with her palm out of happiness and looked at Reyansh who was also looking at her out of pure joy.

Reyansh: You had a doubt if they will be happy to have you in my life and she gave the answers immediately. Do you agree now that she is happy to have you in my life ?

Vaishu nodded her head feeling goosebumps to witness everything happening around her. Reyansh called Mithun to get babies and showed them to the lawyer who blessed them all before he left the home.
