Chapter 43

Recap: Reyansh gather evidence against Jagan and later he reveals about Vaishnavi’s phobia to Sethuram.

Reyansh was in his study working from home and Vaishu sat on the couch looking at him with a pout. He saw her from the peripheral view but continued as if he was busy with his works.

Vaishu: Anshhhh

Reyansh: hmm, Sollu ma ( hmmm, tell me dear )

Vaishu: Anshuuuuu

He smiled internally at the way she called him and he loved whenever she turned out to be the child with Ishaan and Ishika at times.

Reyansh: Enna venum yennoda Avi papa ku ? ( what does my Avi baby want now ?)

Vaishu ambled to him and returned the papers he gave her. She sat on the seat opposite to him and squinted her eyes pleading to him.

Vaishu: I don’t want to join the college now Ansh. I really don’t want to do it now but promise I will complete my studies once Ishu babies grow up little.

Reyansh: If they are the reason you are worried then I have already told you that I m here to take care of them and we can even appoint nannies to help Asha maa for more support. Now tell me what is stopping you ?

Vaishu: I don’t want to study thats it.

She folded her hands turning her face away from him and he was badly controlling his smile deciding to play a little.

Reyansh: You are joining so better sign the admission form now. I m not listening to you in this.

Vaishu climbed on the table and sat folding her legs glaring at him. She yanked his hand stopping him from typing and placed it over her knees. Taking a pen from the pen stand she started drawing a flower in his palm.

Vaishu: Be good and listen to me Ansh. I lost the interest in studies after my parents were dead but continued with studying by home tutor only to keep me distracted. Now with Ishaan, Ishika and you I only want to spend time with you all. I m enjoying my life and you are trying to snatch all the happiness again. Don’t be stone hearted Anshuuu. Let go of this idea and if I ever get interested then I will sure let you know then you can get me admitted in any university you wish.

He pressed his lips controlling his smile and looked at her who was so lost in drawing. She looked so adorable and he couldn’t avert his gaze from her.

Reyansh: I will have to make sure that our babies don’t follow your path in education.

Vaishu: I m not that bad.

Reyansh: Ofcourse I m seeing how good you are. I want you to finish your education and start looking after our business with me but here you are still adamant like a child not willing to go to college.

Vaishu: Who said one should be educated to run business ? I will take care of business even without completing my degree. You will see how good I am and appreciate me like you did when I started taking care of our home. Please Ansh, agree once to my words.

Reyansh: Why should I listen to you and what will I get in return ?

Vaishu stopped drawing and looked his eyes dancing with a glint of mischief in it.

Vaishu: I will prepare your favourite sweet, food and also I will wear the jumpsuit for the date tomorrow.

Reyansh: You will wear that even if I don’t accept to what you want. You will never stop cooking for me so how about you wear my shirt tonight.

Vaishu: Anshhhhh

Reyansh: Yes, Mrs. Anshhh. Tell me yes or no.

Vaishu threw the pen and got down from the table. She walked away huffing and stopped by the door turning to him and glaring at him with squinted eyes.

Vaishu: Padikka matten, shirt kooda poda matten poda. Un pechu ka ( I won’t study, I won’t wear shirt too man. I won’t be friend with you )

She ran away and Reyansh finally laughed throwing his head back at all her antics. He closed his laptop and left his study to follow her. Vaishu entered the room and caught her chest and her eyes were wide as saucers.

Vaishu: What did I say him ? Will he think I disrespected him ? What if he gets angry for being rude to him ?

She heard footsteps and knew it was Reyansh. She quickly entered the closet and sat inside her wardrobe closing the door behind.

Reyansh glanced through out the room searching for her and knowing her already high in sugar mind must have thought something peculiar to like that of a child and entered the closet. He sat on the couch looking at the edge of her pallu peeking from the wardrobe.

Reyansh: Avi papa, olunga veliya varingala illa naa kandupudicha punishment perusa irukkum.     ( Avi baby, will you come out or if I find you then the punishment will be severe. )

Vaishu Mv: No no no don’t find me .. please please.. please don’t find me.

She had her eyes shut tight when Reyansh opened the door of her wardrobe. He poked his forefinger on her cheek and she opened one of her eyes to look at him.

Vaishu: Chorry, I won’t disrespect you again and I won’t be adamant. I will also join college. Don’t punish me Ansh.

Reyansh: Too late angel. Time for punishment.

He pulled her out and threw over his shoulder walking out of the closet.

Vaishu: Ansh, please… I m sorry. Let me go.

Reyansh dropped her on the bed and laid with his head on her lap.

Reyansh: Come on massage my head now.

Vaishu massaged his head raking her fingers through his hair.

Reyansh: Avi, are you really scared that I will punish you ?

Vaishu: You won’t punish me for being disrespectful ?

Reyansh: I love when you are being yourself with all rights over me. This is what I wanted from you and I m so happy today. Call me whatever you want and I will never be angry with you. In fact I will love to hear when you call with any endearment. I enjoyed all the time when you were being adamant, pleading and trying to coax me and finally angry and lashing out on me in a cute and adorable way.

Vaishu: Really ?

Reyansh pinched her nose and she swat his hand rubbing her nose glaring at him.

Reyansh: You were just like a mini version of my princess. I can’t wait to see her throwing tantrums, ordering me to do her things.

Vaishu smiled hearing his words and leaning closer she pecked his forehead.

Vaishu: We are so blessed to have you in our life Ansh. Thank you for coming into our life.

Reyansh: Blessed is me to have you all in my life. You turned me into a human Avi.

He took her hand and kissed her palm winking at her. They heard a knock and Reyansh got up to open the door. Asha entered with Ishaan and Ishika in her arm.

Asha: Vaishu, they just woke up from nap so thought if you will feed them before we feed them vegetable for lunch.

Reyansh carried them from Asha and returned to the bed. Vaishu started feeding Ishika facing the other side while Reyansh was playing with Ishaan facing other side.

Vaishu: Ansh, you haven’t replied me yet. Do you still want me to join college ?

Reyansh: I won’t force you to do anything Avi. If you want to join business then I m always ready to train you and you can join me anytime to office. Anyhow whatever I had so far is not only mine but it is all ours and you have equal responsibility to take care of it.

Vaishu: Have you sold those diamonds Ansh ?

Reyansh: Finish feeding muffins and we will talk about this in study. What special lunch are our babies getting today ?

Vaishu: Sweet potatoes.

They got the dresses changed for the babies and left to the study. Reyansh placed them inside the crib and gave toys to them. He entered the code to lock the door and removed the things from his table. Vaishu didn’t know what he was doing but helped to shift the things from his table.

He took the screw driver and started unscrewing the nails from below the desk that were nailed on all four corners. Using a hammer he gave a gentle tap from below to release the latches and removed the wooden desk completely.

Vaishu closed her mouth with palms in shock to see to the diamonds spread and sparkling.

Vaishu: Are all these unaccounted ones ?

Reyansh: hmm, yes. All these are worth of 40,000 crore. My assistants have found a dealer from Nigeria and if they turn out to be trustworthy then I will sell them all and be free from my illegal business. Just few more days Avi and I will get this rid from here. We don’t have to worry about anything.

Vaishu: If this diamond cost so much then how much money do you earn from legal business ?

Reyansh: With the legal and accounted money, I m the third richest man of our country Avi with net worth of 60 billion US dollars as of today.

Vaishu: What about unaccounted money then ?

Reyansh: I don’t have count on it. Mithun has idea to some extent. We use those money to handle politicians. We gave 1000 crores to the ruling party in central for the upcoming elections.

Vaishu: God, when you can give so much money to government then why not help people in need ?

Reyansh: This is why I want you to join business to know everything. We have 20 trust all over India. There are many homes for children and old people and we help them through these trust. Whenever there is a natural disaster we give money to the Government to help the people in need. Now you tell me what else should be done and I will give orders to start immediately or you know my assistants so you can order them yourself.

Vaishu: There are a lot that can be done. You can start some business which will help and support women in villages and rural areas. Not all woman and girls who are abandoned by their family get a Reyansh in their life. There are a lot of woman struggling and need help to raise their children and support themselves. Those people will bless you.

Reyansh did not reply her but he fished out his mobile and turned the call on speaker mode calling his PA.

PA: Good day to you sir.

Reyansh: Call all the heads of department for a meeting and I want them to come with the best idea to establish business in villages and rurals to offer employment opportunities for women. This has to be a chain business all over the country. Send a circular to all our employees to come with ideas and the best idea will be rewarded with prize money of 10 lakh.

PA: Ofcourse sir, I will get into action immediately. Sir, Can I participate in this and give my ideas?

Reyansh: The last time I knew who work for me so when I said all our employee then it should include you.

PA: Sorry sir, Thank you sir.

Reyansh chuckled and cut the call. Vaishu hugged him immediately getting emotional to his actions.

Vaishu: Thank you Ansh. Thank you so much. I love you.

Reyansh was over the moon and crushed her in his embrace.

Reyansh: Say it again Avi. Please.

Vaishu: I love you.

He pressed a long kiss on her earlobes and saw his muffins looking at them from the crib.

Reyansh: Muffins are looking at us Avi.

Vaishu immediately backed off but he pulled her back and started caressing her cheek.

Reyansh: Avi, I want everyone to know Ishaan and Ishika are my kids. Just a week is left for the hearing of the case.

Vaishu: I know what you are talking about Ansh. I m ready and we will get married as soon as we are done with the case. I jus don’t want any of my past to create any sort of trouble when we start with our life.

Reyansh: I love you Avi.

He kissed her forehead and they left the study after restoring the desk like it was before.
