Chapter 80

Recap: Mithun and Vaishu reveal everything that happened to Reyansh. Ishu babies enjoy the bike ride.

Two days later Reyansh was getting ready for office and Vaishu watched him setting his hair standing before the mirror. She had been awake for the past two days to see if Reyansh was trying to touch her but he had not done any attempt in the past two days.

Reyansh snapped his finger before her and she looked at him not knowing if he had asked for something.

Reyansh: Where are you lost Avi ? If you are upset with me going to office then I will stay back.

Vaishu: No Ansh. Just take care of yourself and call me every hour or atleast message me that you are fine.

Reyansh: I will do Avi. May be you can come to office anytime if you are bored or wanted to see if I m doing good following your words.

Vaishu: That I will do for sure to surprise you and check on you but not today.

Reyansh: Shall I leave ?

Vaishu: hmmm but Ansh don’t interfere in Lavanya’s business. Please

Reyansh: You don’t have to use the word Please Avi. If you had given your word then I will respect that and will never do anything to her until the 50 days. I m sure you would have some plans so I won’t spoil it but is it only for her or others too ?

Vaishu: Both of them Ansh.

Reyansh understood whom the other person was and just hummed in reply to her.

Vaishu: Where is that man who drugged you that night ?

Reyansh: I killed him the night I got to know everything Avi.

Vaishu nodded her head and they walked out of the room. Mithun was all smiles to see Reyansh ready in his professional suit ready for office.

Mithun: Finally someone got his freedom and today I m about to lose my freedom.

Reyansh wrapped his arm around Mithun’s neck and dragged him out to the car. Before he got in he kissed Ishu babies and bid bye to Vaishu with a wide smile.

All the employees were surprised to see Reyansh arriving at office after a long time. His assistant were more than happy to welcome him. Reyansh smiled at everyone and finally entered his room. He swirled the posh seat and sat on it.

He immediately switched on the mobile and laptop as first thing which were flooded with messages. But all he did was going through the social media to know everything Vaishu had done. His assistants and Mithun boasted about Vaishu’s acts which made him raise his collars.

He opened the social media account of Ishu babies and saw the photos that were uploaded in it. He remembered the password Vaishu had informed him the moment he left for office. Logging into the account he uploaded the photos of Ishaan and Ishika enjoying the bike ride. He uploaded the same photos on his social media accounts too.

Vaishu’s mobile pinged a notification and saw it was from Reyansh and Ishu’s account. She opened it and saw the recently added photos and like them and commented below them.

Vaishu Mv: This is the work he is doing at office.

Kajal came running and showed the photos and they chuckled together.

Vaishu: Asha maa, please inform chef to cook lunch for Reyansh and Mithun bro too.

Kajal: But they joined office only today Vaishu.

Vaishu: Wait and watch. They will come running at lunch time. He won’t stay for a long time after he got to spend the whole day with Ishu babies.

Kajal: Only Ishu babies ?

Vaishu: Ofcourse me too. I m bold enough to confess but what about you ? When are you planning to get married ? People are waiting for something spicy to hear from you after that airport stunt you both pulled.

Kajal: I m planning to talk to dad and mom.

They reached the play room and saw Ishu babies busy looking at the posters of animals and fruits.

Back in office Mithun was sprawled on the couch panting for air. Reyansh passed a glass of water to him which he gulped immediately and felt relaxed.

Reyansh: You look fine now so continue.

Mithun: Shut up Rey. Get out of office and don’t you dare to step anytime. Its been two hours and I have been recited what Vaishu did for more than 50 times. Don’t you feel pity for me ? Rey, did your forget that old witch ? I haven’t seen them for almost a week now. Come lets go and have some fun for sometime. I m really tired now.

Reyansh: Lets go and I have to reward them something too. By the way where are they ?

Mithun smirked and Mithun drove the car with Reyansh in the passenger seat. They had stopped the guards from following them and Mithun stopped the car before a park.

Mithun: Look the couples are having a good nap on the park bench. What should we now ?

Reyansh watched them for sometime and his gaze fell on the women who was cleaning the park with a baby in her arm. He smirked and called the security of the park and informed him to call the lady to them.

Once the lady approached them Reyansh gave her a bundle of cash with some instructions. They raised the window and watched the scene unfolding.

The lady laid her child beside Leela who was so deep in slumber. She covered them with the sheet and moved back. Suddenly she started screaming gaining attention from the people in the park as well those who were on the road outside the park.

Lady: yarachum kaapathunga ennoda kozhandhaiya kadathitu pora indha kezhavi. Police koopdunga ayayo yarachum kaapathungalen. ( Some one help me, this old lady is kidnapping my child away from me. Someone call police, help us )

Leela got up hearing the scream and she tried to get down from the bench but stopped when she saw a little girl of 2 years sleeping next to her. She carried the child in her arm and before she could speak anything the child’s mother snatched her child from Leela.

Lady: Thiruttu kezhavi evlo thimiru unakku ( you oldie thief how dare you ?)

People started beating her and Sugumaran who was next to her also got beaten by the public who finally got them tied. Mithun had done his part by calling the police already who arrived exactly at the right time.

Police arrested Leela and Sugumaran who were refusing to leave the park. Sugumaran saw a man dressed in white shirt, wearing mask and pleaded him to save them.

Sugumaran: Sir, please help us. We didn’t do anything. They are framing us.

The man pulled down the mask a little and Sugumaran gasped to see Reyansh. Police cleared all the public from the park and it was only Reyansh with the Inspector and old couples.

Reyansh slapped Sugumaran who fell on the ground holding his cheek.

Leela: Yenda engala ippadi torture panra ? ( why do you torture us like this man ?)

Reyansh slapped Leela who was shocked from his behaviour.

Leela: How could you raise your hand on a woman who is to your mother’s age ?

Reyansh caught her throat and crushed gritting his throat.

Reyansh: You are not a woman and I will show you real hell for what you and your son had done to me and my Vaishu. Earlier I didn’t had any such plans like I do now and you will plead to death every minute. About your son, I will make him feel hell would be better then being in my custody and its my promise.

He pushed her down and returned to the car. Reyansh and Mithun watched police dragging Leela and Sugumaran to the jeep. They reached home and entered living with Reyansh calling for Vaishu and Ishu babies and Mithun calling for Kajal.

Vaishu who was in the kitchen preparing special dessert for Reyansh chuckled at Kajal’s reaction.

Vaishu: Close your mouth. Didn’t I say this would happen. Come lets go.

Passing water to them who were seated in the dining Vaishu sat opposite to them.

Vaishu: I thought someone was so desperate to join back office.

Reyansh: Ofcourse I was busy with work.

Mithun gasped and looked at Reyansh with a “ I will kill you ” look. Reyansh shrugged and turned to Vaishu.

Reyansh: Mithun was missing Kajal so he wanted to return home and I missed my wife and babies more so we decided to have lunch together. But from tomorrow I will be very busy and who knows I might return home late at night. Isn’t it Mithun ?

Mithun: Yeah yeah whatever makes you sleep at night.

Reyansh kicked Mithun’s leg and they had lunch together. Looking at the dessert Reyansh reminisced the day before the day they got married when he teased her to have dessert in room.

Vaishu Mv: I know you will remember that day when you teased me so much to have this dessert in our room.

Reyansh looked at her and ate a few spoon of the halwa with their gaze still locked and passed the bowl to her. Vaishu beamed in excitement and took the bowl immediately tasting the halwa from the same spoon.

Reyansh: You have magic in your hands Vaishu. I loved it.

Vaishu felt happy for the next step of progress from her love and they both could see from each others eyes.

As usual at night Vaishu tried to stay awake as long as possible pretending to sleep. She badly wanted to feel her Ansh near her, she wanted to inhale his fragrance and finally she wanted to know what was he feeling when he tried to touch her. She prayed all the gods for her luck.

She heard footsteps and tried to keep her breathe even but her poor heart started palpitating as his cologne hit strong in her nostrils. Reyansh sat on the floor next to her as they only had the mattress without a cot. Moving the curtain he saw Vaishu sleeping facing the other side for she was thankful or he would have guessed she was awake.

Reyansh: I love you Avi. I can see how much you are hurting because of me but trust me I m trying Avi. I really do but every time I wanted to touch you I feel a sudden raise in my heartbeat.

He raised his hand to caress her hair but his hand started trembling and he gulped hard determined to caress her hair and he finally did touch her hair  but retracted immediately and stumbled back with laboured breathe.  Unlike the other times this time his shivering was beyond control so he took the tablet doctor had given him and looked for water. He saw Vaishu passing a glass of water.

Vaishu: Have your tablet first Ansh. Please be quick.

He did as she said and leaned on the wall shutting his eyes to relax his breathe. Vaishu sat opposite to him and Reyansh mumbled sorry to her when he felt better.

Vaishu: I m happy you are trying Ansh and I m here with you in this. Don’t be sorry and you won’t be get over this unless you come out of your guilt Ansh.

Reyansh: Have you forgiven me Avi ?

Vaishu: What should I forgive you for Ansh ? what was your mistake for everything happening in our life ?

Reyansh: Are you not even angry or upset with me ?

Vaishu: I have answered this already Ansh. Still to elaborate my answer I would say I myself questioned this many times Ansh. Do you know I was upset, broken and my heart was shattered just thinking of the night but I realized that I was upset because I have not been strong enough to save myself. I was broken because I couldn’t stand for myself from those animals who played my life, my heart was shattered because I couldn’t find the courage to fight for myself and I travelled with him to Maldives.

When I couldn’t do any of these then why would I be angry or upset with you for that night which happened without our consciousness ? If I have to be upset with someone then I will be with god because he didn’t let us meet early in our life. If I had to be angry with someone then I should feel on myself for not leaving that home even after so many years of pain they gave me. If I had to punish someone then it should be the people who pushed us in that situation.

You and me are not at fault Ansh. We are only victims so we don’t have to feel guilt. We might have not been in sense but I m more than happy that it was you that night and Ishu babies are our babies. You and me are their father and  mother and I m very happy about it. You are the best father Ansh. Please come out of this guilt.

Reyansh: You are so good for this world Avi. You forgive everyone so easily but I m not like you  Avi. I couldn’t forgive myself even after trying so hard I couldn’t.

Vaishu: Do you know why I gave 50 days time to that woman ?

Reyansh shook his head and looked at her. Vaishu laid on the bed facing him and passed a pillow to Reyansh. He laid on the carpeted floor and they were facing each other as she continued.

Vaishu: Two more months are left for our babies first birthday and I want us to be a family like we used to be back on their big day. I want us to celebrate their birthday together as their parents with all love and not as some strangers standing away from each other. I want all our enemies to get paid for what they did to us before their birthday.

Reyansh: We not need wait for so long to punish them Avi. I will do it before the dusk tomorrow.

Vaishu: I want you to punish them as my Ansh. I want you to hold me and I want to watch you punishing them.

Reyansh felt how serious she was and sat up listening to her.

Vaishu: If you want to punish them then you have heal first and for that you have 30 days time. If you miss the 50th day to punish them then you should let go of them without punishing forever.

Reyansh: What ? Avi, we can’t let them go. Never will I let them go so easily.

Vaishu: Then get over your guilt Ansh. I want you to be my Ansh first. Remember you used to ask me about my wishes ? This is my wish. Will you do this for me ? I promise to be with you in every step of your attempt and will do anything to get you back but you need to return as my Ansh. I m in this with you.

Reyansh: Promise Avi, I will do as you said. Just stay by my side. I love you Avi.

Vaishu: I love you Ansh.

Vaishu Mv: I will make sure you heal and get out of this guilt and I will do anything for that.

Vaishu smiled and they slept looking at each other.
