Chapter 81

Recap: Vaishu confess her wish to Reyansh to punish the people only when he heal from his anxiety attacks.

One month later:

Vaishu walked out of the study followed by the doctor who had visited to check Reyansh for the second time in the month. As the doctor took his leave Vaishu sat on the couch with Mithun and Kajal next to her.

Mithun: How is Rey ? what did the doctor say about his treatment ?

Vaishu: Doctor has given injection and he is asleep. Doctor said Reyansh has tried beyond the limit that he should actually be trying and now he has started forcing himself to get over this anxiety attack which is very risky. He said that the high dosage tablets should not be taken too often but Reyansh has completed a strip in just 20 days. This can’t go like this so I have spoken something with the doctor which I felt would heal Reyansh and he too felt that it would work but I need both your help in this. Doctor has agreed to help from his part.

Mithun: Anything for you and Rey. Tell me what should we do Vaishu ?

Vaishu: I will inform Kajal tonight and she will let you know on what you have to do. First lets focus on the launch of our new diamond collections tonight. Let Reyansh sleep and you reach the venue early and I will make sure Reyansh arrive in time. Let the guests not wait for him and you begin with the launch.

Vaishu called Lakshman who came running with his i pad.

Vaishu: :Lakshman, make sure Jothi is prepared for her big day. Also arrange a car to pick up her father and mother. They need to see their daughter taking her first step in her career.

Lakshman: She is very strong and responsible. She is being taken care of. About her father and mother sure I will arrange for them to be present at the venue on time.

Vaishu: Lakshman, me and sir will be staying at beach house tomorrow night. Inform the staffs to change all the sheets, curtains.

Lakshman: Sure madam, I will take care of everything and tighten the security for tomorrow.

Vaishu: No Lakshman, I don’t want anyone to be present for tomorrow. We have a security system so clear off everyone from duty until my next order.

Mithun: Vaishu are you mad ? why do you give such an order ?

Vaishu: Bro , do you trust me ?

Mithun: I do Vaishu but

Vaishu: If you trust me then there is no but bro. Am I right ?

Mithun nodded his head and she returned to her room . Reyansh was sleeping on his stomach holding Vaishu’s saree to his chest. Vaishu sat next to him and caressed his hair gently and pecked his forehead.

Vaishu: Tonight is the last night we will be away from each other. I know how much you are fighting yourself only for me.  You cannot be the only one to struggle in this Ansh. I promised to stand by you and now I will go to any extent to cure you. I will bring back my Ansh. Its my promise. I love you.

It was in the evening Vaishu was feeding Ishaan and Reyansh was getting ready for the event. He was clasping the watch but dropped it when he heard Vaishu screaming and rushed to her who was still facing the other side.

Vaishu: hissssss ouch…god..

She had laid Ishaan next to her and he was whining trying to get back to her lap but Vaishu buttoned her shirt.

Reyansh: what happened Avi ? Why did you scream ?

Vaishu: No… hmmm nothing may be I was day dreaming. You go get ready.

Reyansh: You sure ?

Vaishu: Yes, you should leave so get ready quickly. Mithun bro had left already.

Reyansh: ok but why are you not feeding Ishu ? Look he is whining and you know he won’t stop until you feed him.

Vaishu nodded her head and carried Ishaan to feed to him while Reyansh got back to get ready. Just a few seconds again he heard a scream.

Vaishu: amma….sssssssss, Ishu you have become very bad.

Reyansh: What happened ? Don’t tell me nothing happened Avi.

Vaishu: He bit me..

Reyansh: Where ?

Vaishu buttoned her shirt and turned to Reyansh glaring at him but he was clueless on her glares at him. Realization dawned upon him and he coughed closing his mouth with his fist hiding his smile.

Vaishu: I will break your face if you smile Ansh.

She left the room leaving Reyansh and Ishaan alone. Reyansh sat on the bed and looked at Ishaan ruffling his hair.

Reyansh: Enna da idhellam ? Unakku pallu vandhuchu na sandhosha patta nee yennada na en pondatiya kadikiriya ? Adhuvum anga ? Naa romba possessive da. Pavam en papa thudichu poita. Naa kooda ippadi pannadhu illa da.                                                                                                                ( What is this my son ? Here I m happy that you got your teeth but you bit my wife ? That too there ? I m veyr possessive boy. Poor my baby, she screamed in pain. Even I haven’t done that boy )

Ishaan showed his teeth smiling at him. Reyansh carried Ishaan in his arm and entered the closet looking for something. He reached the living and let Kajal to hold Ishaan while he looked for Vaishu.

He entered the kitchen and saw her preparing dinner for Ishu babies wearing a loose shirt.

Reyansh: Avi, here take this.

Vaishu saw it was medicine and took it from him.

Vaishu: How did you get it so fast ?

Reyansh: No, I had this in my wardrobe already.

Vaishu: You knew this will happen ?

Reyansh: No, I bought this some time back you know … I mean.

Vaishu: you mean ?

Reyansh: I mean… I.. the time I thought you will need this because of..

Vaishu: because of ?

Reyansh Mv: Is she playing with me or is she really dumb now ?

Reyansh: I thought I will be the reason you will need this. I m leaving bye.

He scurried out after blurting out while Vaishu turned red completely hearing his words. When she reached the living Reyansh had already left and Ishaan was playing with Kajal.

Vaishu: Is Ishi still with Asha maa in the garden ?

Kajal: Yes, but why is your face so red ?

Vaishu shrugged and sat next to her sharing the plan for the next day.

Reyansh arrived at the venue and greeted the guest. A few minutes later Jothi arrived dressed up in an elegant gown and she was wearing the best designs of the new collections of Rey’s diamonds.

Mithun introduced Jothi as the new model of Rey’s diamond. Jothi aced the event like a pro and Vaishu who was watching the live from home felt proud of her. Reyansh addressed the gathering about the new collections and Vaishu couldn’t avert her eyes from Reyansh who stood at the podium.

Vaishu Mv: I m sure all the woman will be gawking at my husband. Why he has to be so hot and sexy ? God, let today be the last day of us being away from us. We miss each other so much.

Reyansh returned home late at night and sauntered to the room. He saw Ishi babies were asleep on their bed but Vaishu not seen. He entered the closet and got changed into his tracks and t shirt and returned to the room but this time all the lights were off except for the night lamp next to Ishu babies bed.

Reyansh saw a little light from the balcony and opened the door but stood amazed to see candles on the teapoy and two mugs were placed on it. Vaishu was seated on the couch dressed in a simple summer gown and she gestured him to sit next to her. Reyansh sat and they started sipping the hot chocolate.

Reyansh: Anything special today ?

Vaishu smiled and placed the mug on the teapoy. Taking a single rose from the vase Vaishu knelt before Reyansh with a smile.

Vaishu: Nothing is special today but let us make it special for a new beginning tomorrow. Mr. Reyansh Badrinath will you go on a date with me ? A proper date, only you and me. If its a yes accept this rose.

Reyansh chuckled at her and accepted the rose from her.

Reyansh: You know that I would do anything for you and you don’t have to go on your knees. I m so happy, blessed and honoured to go on a date with my beautiful wife.

Vaishu: Thank you Ansh. I m sure you won’t be disappointed and I will try my best to make it special for you. Lets go to sleep and I have to plan so many things for tomorrow. Good night Ansh.

Reyansh watched Vaishu running back to room and sat looking at the moon for sometime.

Reyansh Mv: I too have a surprise for you Avi. Lets make our day tomorrow a special one then.

Morning Vaishu was scrolling through her mobile when Mithun entered the living and sat opposite to her with a deadly glare.

Vaishu: What did I do now ?

Mithun: Until this day I have done everything you said without a second thought but what made you think that I will stand by you in this decision ? We are not doing anything like your plan. Back off and I will talk to the doctor.

Vaishu: too late Bro. We are doing this either you help us or I m doing it on my own but tonight I m doing what I m intended to do.

Mithun: For god’s sake Vaishu you can act stupid and risk both your life. What if something goes wrong ?

Vaishu: Don’t you have trust in me and Reyansh ? Even if the plan fails won’t you be there to help us ?

Mithun: Please Vaishu, let us think of something else not because I don’t trust you or Rey but I scared of the worst outcome from this plan.

Vaishu: I still believe in destiny and our fate. You won’t do anything on your own to stop this plan. This is my last chance so I beg to you stand by me one last time. Please bro.

Mithun huffed and rubbed his face in his palm to calm his mind and looked at Vaishu.

Mithun: Ok. As you say.

Vaishu thanked him and later she informed Asha and Kajal to take care of Ishu babies for the night in their absence. She hugged Ishu babies who were playing in the room and kissed their cheeks.

Vaishu: Ishu, Ishi, both of you should be good with Asha granny and Kaju aunt. Me and your appa will be back tomorrow and I strongly believe everything will change tonight. I will fight our fate tonight to bend for us. Now wish your maa with your kisses.

Once Ishu babies kissed her she returned to the guest room to get ready. Reyansh reached the living dressed in the pastel peach color shirt and black pant Vaishu had selected for him for the night. He sat on the couch waiting for Vaishu and hearing the sound of the sandals hitting the marbles he raised his head and his brown orbs clashed with her pure black ones. His sight moved from her face to foot scanning her completely. She looked so ethereal dressed up in a spaghetti sundress with a black shirt and the buttons were undone. A thin chain with a teardrop diamond and matching studs complimented her beauty. Her long hair swayed as she walked towards him.

Reyansh: You look beautiful Avi.

Vaishu: Not hot ?

Reyansh blushed to her words and chuckling at him she threw the keys to him walking ahead of him.

Reyansh: I thought it would a surprise place but you wanted me to drive ?

Vaishu: Place is not surprise but surprise is at the place ? Now take us to our beach house.

She quickly sent a message to Mithun and doctor before she got seated in the passenger seat. Reyansh started the drive to the destination stealing glances at Vaishu who was smiling unusually more than recent days not aware of what she had planned for him.
