Bonus Chapter 1

Three Years After their marriage:

Ishaan and Ishika were the most adorable kids and they had everyone wrapped around their little finger. Reyansh had to appoint two more staffs to assist Asha to take care of them in Vaishu and his absence at home. Whereas when he and Vaishu were at home they would take complete care of their kids and spend entire time with them.

The little devils were always on their toes running around and the only person they would obey without a second thought was Reyansh. They still slept cuddling with their parents and Ishika the dad’s little princess end up sleeping on Reyansh’s chest.

Ishaan and Ishika had their sibling fights but they were perfect partner in crimes to sneak into the kitchen and coax the chef to get them chocolates and ice creams from the freezer.

Reyansh and Vaishu celebrated all the milestones of their kids and likewise the present day was another milestone for them.

Vaishu was so happy did an early morning pooja and Reyansh was equally happy but sulked getting his muffins wear the uniform. Unlike their father they were excited for their first day school in kindergarten. They got like to schools after they spent 2 hours in the pre school for three months.

Reyansh reached the living with his muffins and they sat on the couch while he sat on the floor tying the lace of their shoes. Mithun and Kajal arrived carrying their princess Pari. Pari ran to Ishaan and Ishika and gave them chocolates for their first day school.  She then hugged Reyansh from behind and kissed his cheek.

Pari: Rey mamu, I want ice cream.

Reyansh: I have already bought your favourite ice cream and toys darling. Go get them.

Pari: thank you mamu. You are the best.

Mithun: Don’t call her darling. She is only my darling. Are my muffins ready for the first day school ?

Reyansh: Shut up, they are my muffins. Only my muffins.

Mithun: Oh, fine then they are my buddies. Isn’t it buddies ?

Reyansh: Then Pari is my little flower.

Ishu and Ishi giggled hearing their banter and Kajal presented them their favourite pencil box.

Mithun saw Reyansh sulking doing everything and hit on his head.

Mithun: Rey, kids are going to school for just half a day. You better smile and don’t upset my niece and nephew on their first day to school.

Reyansh: Just a year and I will be saying this to you. Easy to say than done. Muffins, will you stay without appa ?

Vaishu: Ansh, don’t mess their mind now. Do you want to keep them with you forever without even letting them getting educated ?

Reyansh: When did I say that ? But isn’t it too early for them to leave home and stay alone at school ? What if they feel hungry ? What if they wanted to see us ? what if they cry when they miss us ?

Vaishu: Our kids are not the only kids who will be joining school today. They will meet other kids and make friends. Its ok Ansh, they will be good.

Reyansh smiled and kissed their cheeks caressing their hair. He turned his attention to Pari who was devouring the ice cream holding the new teddy bear Reyansh bought for her. With a smile he took some tissues and wiped her nose and cheeks which were smudged with ice cream.

Pari: Mamu, what should we name him ?

Reyansh: How about Lucky ?

Pari: We already gave that name to the one you bought me last month.

Reyansh: Then let this be her and we shall name Maggie.

Pari: Wow, I love it. Maggie say hello to my Rey mamu.

Kajal: We need to spare another room only for her teddy bears. How many more will you buy her?

Reyansh: As many as she wants. If you have problem with room then let me build a home for her toys so you don’t need to worry.

Kajal shook her head to his words and Mithun felt so happy on seeing the interaction with his daughter and Reyansh. Vaishu and Reyansh never showed any indifferences between Ishu, Ishi and Pari. They went on all vacations together, did shopping together and all the important occasions were celebrated together.

Reyansh: My prince, princess and darling are the best kids and you will should be good to everyone. Appa will get you gifts for you when you return home.

Ishaan: Appa I want samosa one two three .. three samosa

Reyansh turned and glared at Vaishu who hid her face behind the school bag.

Ishika: Appa, nail polish blue color.

Pari: I want yellow color.

She hugged him with her arms around his neck and Vaishu laughed out loud as she reminisced the last time Ishika painted Reyansh’s nails with green color nail polish. He didn’t want to upset his princess by removing it so he attended a meeting not caring about the looks people gave him.

Reyansh: Done, anything for you all. Now shall we go ?

They jumped down and ran out to the car and Reyansh, Vaishu followed them carrying their bags. The school was close by their manor and they reached within 15 minutes. Reyansh and Vaishu entered the classroom and saw few kids were crying and Reyansh had a second thought on leaving Ishaan and Ishika who looked perplexed on seeing the crying kids.

Mithun patted Reyansh’s back giving a nod that they will be ok.

Vaishu: Ishu, Ishi, be good and make friends. Share your snacks with them. Me and appa will come back to take you home.

They nodded their head slowly as the cries of the kids scared them.

Reyansh kissed their forehead and they walked out of the school. Mithun and Kajal took their leave with Pari and as soon they were in the car Vaishu started crying and Reyansh pulled her to his embrace.

Reyansh: Its ok Avi, they will be good.

Vaishu glared at him for saying the same dialogue she said to him and pushed him away. Reyansh pinched her nose and scooted to her wrapping his hand around her shoulder.

Reyansh: They are growing up so fast Avi. I should inform the staffs to call me if they cry. Wait a minute.

Vaishu: No, don’t do it. They will search for us after the two hours of time like they did in pre school but eventually they will get used to the half day now. Few days will be hard but they will get well with the timings. Lets go back home.

They returned home and as soon they reached the home Vaishu saw the colouring book on the bed and sat admiring their works in it. Reyansh sat on the couch working on his laptop and looking at Vaishu every now and then.

Both were looking at the time waiting to pick up their kids from school and before they knew it was already time and they rushed to the school. They felt relieved to see them walking out with a smile. They carried them in their arms and kissed their cheeks.

Ishaan: Appa, teacher gave me chocolate.

Ishika giggled and showed her palm where the teacher had drew a star for her.

Ishika: I was good girl and teacher draw star for Ishi.

Reyansh: Wow, my muffins have been best on their first day.

Vaishu: Ofcourse they will be. They are appa and amma’s little angels so they deserve gift. Lets go home and grab the gifts now.

They returned home and chef had prepared the samosa for Ishaan and Lakshman gave the nail colors to Ishika who readily took her father’s hand and started painting his nails.

They fed their kids and put them to nap and returned to the dining to have lunch but before they could reach Vaishu stumbled and fell unconscious. Reyansh panicked and Asha sprinkled water on Vaishu’s face but nothing worked.

Reyansh: Avi, open your eyes and look at me. You are scaring me. Please papa (baby)

He gulped and wiped the tears that was turning his vision blur. He carried her to the car and Lakshman was already giving instructions to the doctor to be ready informing about Vaishu.

As soon as they reached the hospital Reyansh carried her to the emergency with the guards clearing of the way for him. He waited outside as the doctors were treating Vaishu. 30 minutes later the doctor walked out and Reyansh caught his hands with his heart thudding against his rib cage.

Reyansh: Is my wife alright now ? What happened to her ?

Doctor: She is absolutely fine sir and congratulations. Your wife is pregnant.

Reyansh blinked his eyes and a drop of tear rolled from the corner of his eyes.

Reyansh: I m sorry I didn’t hear you. Come again.

Doctor: Your wife is pregnant. She is weak and fainted because of that. I will prescribe vitamins and take care of her. She will wake up in few minutes and you can take her home.

Reyansh hummed and entered the room. He sat on the bed holding Vaishu’s hand and kissed her knuckles. He placed his palm on her abdomen and couldn’t control himself from kissing there.

Reyansh: Our baby.

He smiled and waited for Vaishu to wake up. Once she opened her eyes he smiled at her.

Vaishu: Why are we in the hospital ? What happened to me ?

Reyansh: nothing Avi. Doctor said you are weak and fainted because of that. Lets go home.

He didn’t let her walk and carried her to the car and Vaishu saw he was busy with his mobile until they reached home. He forced her to sleep for sometime and left the room.

When Vaishu woke up she saw a shopping bag on the bed next to her with a note to get ready and reach the garden.

Vaishu Mv: Did I forget something today ? what is so special today for the surprise ?

She quickly got ready in the gown and reached the garden which was decorated with balloons. Reyansh who waiting for her closed her eyes with his palm and lead her to the table where a cake was placed.

Vaishu: Ansh, what are you doing ?

Reyansh: You will know Avi. Just a minute.

He removed his hand and Vaishu saw the cake with ” hi amma ” written on it. Reyansh knelt before her and kissed her abdomen.

Reyansh: Cupcake, Appa will take care of you and amma. I will love you to the moon and back. Your brother and sister will be so happy to hold you in their arms.

Vaishu froze hearing his words and when he looked at her she was already shedding tears. He rose to his feet and wiped away the tears placing a kiss on her forehead.

Reyansh: We are going to be parents once again Avi. Ishu will be elder brother and Ishi will be elder sister. I m going to spoil you.

Vaishu hugged him and he stroke her back as they lived the moment cherishing the memory. Reyansh whistled and their kids came running to them. Vaishu saw they were wearing custom T shirts and Ishaan’s was printed with ” I’m elder brother ” and Ishika’s was printed ” I’m elder sister “

The kids hugged their mother and kissed her abdomen.

Ishaan: Amma, appa said you have a baby in your tummy. When will the baby come out ?

Ishika: Is the baby boy or girl ?

Reyansh: Boy or girl doesn’t matter. We all will give lots of love to our baby. Am I right ?

Kids nodded their head and they shared a group hug. Later they cut the cake and fed each other. Reyansh carried Vaishu to the room with Kids following them. He laid her on the bed and sat next to her with kids on his lap.

Reyansh: Doctor said you are weak and need lot of rest. So from now on you we will stay home and all the works will be taken care through our employees.

Vaishu: We ?

Reyansh: Ofcourse we. I m not leaving your side anytime. From now on my only work is to take care of you, cupcake and muffins. Everything comes later. We shall appoint more employees to take care of trust and you only give them orders and work from home.

Vaishu: Don’t you think this is too much ? I will work and also take care of me and our baby.

Reyansh turned serious and cupped her cheek with a pleading look.

Reyansh: I couldn’t be with you when you were pregnant with muffins but this time I want to experience everything with you. Please let me spoil you as much as I want. Let us make many more memories this time. Please papa (baby)

Ishaan: Yes papa (baby).

Vaishu and Reyansh gasped hearing him call Vaishu as baby and Reyansh started tickling him.

Reyansh didn’t let Vaishu carry or move anything from its place. He informed Mithun to take care of business and agreed to work from home.

Two weeks later Vaishu’s morning sickness started troubling her. Reyansh never left her alone and everytime she rushed to the washroom to puke he followed her and held her head and stroke her back. He used to carry her back to room.

Her mornings were welcomed by the juice prepared by Reyansh and all the meals had healthy veggies and soups in it.

3rd month of Pregnancy:

Reyansh and Vaishu reached the hospital for the first ultrasound scan and more than Vaishu, Reyansh was impatient to see the tiny human being they created. When they entered the room he helped her to remove the shirt and held her hand as the doctor applied the gel on her abdomen.

He felt a sudden rush in adrenaline when the doctor moved the transducer showing the baby in her womb. His grip on her palm tightened and he pecked Vaishu’s forehead hearing the heartbeat of the baby.

Reyansh: I love you Avi. Thank you so much for this blessing.

They smiled with tears of happiness as the room echoed with the sound of the heartbeat.

Doctor: Your baby is completely healthy. Continue with the vitamins and include lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet.

The couple thanked the doctor and returned home. They showed the image of the scan to the kids who whined for not being able to identify the baby in it but Reyansh convinced that they could wait for some months and see the baby once he or she is born.

5th month of Pregnancy:

Reyansh woke up and saw Vaishu was sleeping after being awake for a long time due to nausea and difficulty in sleeping. He saw Ishu and Ishi were also awake and before they could disturb Vaishu he took them out of the room.

Vaishu felt hungry and woke up soon. Seeing the father and kids missing she searched for them and finally reached the gym.

Reyansh was doing push ups with Ishaan on his back and Ishika jumping in excitement.

Ishika: Appa, ippo nanu paa. ( appa, its now my turn )

Ishaan got down and Ishika got on his back.

Vaishu: You will let only your little angels to sit on your back is it ?

Reyansh stopped and looked at Vaishu who stood with a tired face.

Reyansh: I would love to carry you on back as well as front. Any position is ok for Avi.

Reyansh winked at her and Vaishu glared at him while he chuckled at her frown. He informed Ishika to get down and winked at Vaishu who immediately sat on his back. Ishaan and Ishika were laughing and jumping as they watched Reyansh doing push ups with Vaishu on his back.

Vaishu: I m hungry Ansh.

Reyansh stopped and she got down and tied her hair in a bun. Reyansh rose to his feet and kissed her cheeks and her baby bump. Following him the kids too kissed like he did.

Reyansh: What do you want to eat ?

Vaishu: I don’t know. Anything spicy or sweety no may be tangy ?

Reyansh chuckled and kissed her nose before he carried her to the kitchen. Vaishu and kids settled on the dining waiting for Reyansh to get their breakfast. Reyansh placed a plate before Vaishu which had samosa with spicy and sweet chutney, another plate with dosa and potato curry for all of them.

Vaishu: You are the best Ansh. I love this.

She moaned to the taste he smiled at the three who were enjoying the breakfast with sharing and caring. Once they were done he gave the medicines to Vaishu and left to bath.

7th month Pregnancy:

Vaishu’s bay has grown visibly well. Reyansh and kids would love to sit on either side and talk to the baby as long as they want. The family was settled in the living when Mithun arrived carrying toys for the kids.

Mithun: How is my sista and baby doing ?

Vaishu: Very good and what a surprise you found way finally to meet us ?

Mithun: I let him stay home and I had to take care of all the business so how do you expect me to arrive to meet you all ? Also this possessive head will not leave me with you to bond with the baby.

Reyansh: You could have brought Pari and Kajal to spend time.

Mithun: I m here directly from office. All the works at Manchester store is done for its launch next week. How many days should I plan for your visit there ?

Reyansh: When did I say that I will fly to Manchester ? I m not going anywhere.

Vaishu: Reyansh, how could you ignore work like this ? You better go handle the business.

Reyansh: Forget if you think I will give into words this time. I m not leaving you alone. Mithun, you and Kajal fly to Manchester with Pari. Once the launch is done spend some time together. They too will need your time as family. no more discussions on this.

Vaishu shook her head as she watched Reyansh leaving giving no room for further discussions.

Mithun: I expected this Vaishu. Don’t worry I can understand and he is right in his POV. I will take care. Muffins shall we go play in the garden.

They squealed and ran along with him to the garden to play.

Reyansh returned to Vaishu with a glass of juice and sat next to her. He crouched and kissed her bump caressing gently.

Reyansh: I love you cupcake. Do you love appa ?

He gasped and burst into tears when he felt a kick. He again kissed earning another kick.

Reyansh: Avi, our baby is responding to my words. Oh my god, I love you cup cake. Appa loves you a lot. I would love to shower you with kisses to feel your kicks but amma will feel the pain so we shall do this tomorrow.

He started massaging her swollen feet and pressed the toes giving her a sense of relief.

8th month Pregnancy:

Reyansh made sure Vaishu did the exercise and yoga every morning and evening as recommended by doctor. They went on walking in the evenings hold hands. Vaishu would wake up in the middle of the night due to her carvings and Reyansh woke up every time and cooked anything she asked for. He never restricted her from eating anything and they would end up in the balcony in the middle of the night with bowls of Maggie, sometime hot samosa, cake, biryani. There was no end to her cravings and he fulfilled everything for her.

Like any other night the couples were seated in the balcony with a plate of aloo paratha and pickle. Reyansh was feeding her and Vaishu was leaning on his shoulder watching the movie from the laptop.

Reyansh’s mobile pinged with a notification and Vaishu saw it was from one of his assistants about the meeting request from the finance minister.

Vaishu: Ansh, you should go meet him.

Reyansh: Why do you even ask the question when you know my answer already ? I m not leaving you alone Avi. DOT.

Vaishu: What if they cause trouble to our business because you denied to meet him ? We just started with our dreams Ansh.

Reyansh: They won’t Avi. Even if they do I will shut down all my business and we have enough money to help people as well as for our next 20 generation. They know the consequences of crossing my way so don’t worry about anything.

At night Vaishu felt back pain and Reyansh prepared a hot water bath for her. He sat behind her and gently massaged her back, neck, arms and feet until Vaishu felt the relaxation. He carried her out of the tub and dried her body before he carried her to bed and pressed her legs until she fell asleep.

9th month Pregnancy:

Vaishu’s bump was now fully grown and Reyansh had his heart in his palms as he watched her walk with difficulty. He felt his heart pound against his chest out of fear when she took a step casually to walk around. He tailed behind her everywhere she went.

Muffins were completely under his care and he didn’t let Vaishu worry for them. Asha informed him about Vaishu’s baby shower and Reyansh planned for it in a grand manner. Close business elites and Mithun and Kajal’s parents were invited apart from Ishaan and Ishika’s friends with their parents. The kids couldn’t stop boasting about their soon to be born sibling.

Vaishu was dressed up in a silk saree and her long hair was braided and adorned completely with jasmine flowers. She wore simple jewels to avoid the discomfort and Reyansh was dressed in matching shirt and dhoti. He wanted to carry her but Vaishu stopped him from doing any PDA so they couple walked hand in hand slowly and reached the lawn where everything was setup.

Reyansh and Vaishu sat on the love seat with the kids on either side dressed traditionally. The women made Vaishu wear bangles and applied the sandal paste on the couples cheeks. Ishika whined looking at Reyansh and he smiled at her and looked at Kajal who applied the sandal paste on Ishaan and Ishika’s cheeks.

When the ceremony was over and the guest left Reyansh didn’t hesitate and carried Vaishu back to the room. He stood before her and cupped her cheeks admiring the glow on her face.

Reyansh: You look so beautiful Avi. I could watch you all day and this glow is so alluring.

Vaishu: I know how I look Ansh. From all the eating I have become like a panda but you love me so much that you don’t see that. Usually women feel very insecured from the weight gains but you never made me feel anything like that.

Reyansh: This beauty is natural from carrying our baby and I m addicted to this sight.

He made her sit on the bed and sat on the floor placing her feet on his lap. He saw her feet were swollen and started massaging keeping his conversation with Vaishu and their baby.

A week later:

Vaishu was feeling very uneasy in the middle of the night and Reyansh was worried to see her. He massaged her back, gave a hot water bath but still she felt so uneasy. She felt sharp pain shooting every now and then and realized it was time to welcome the baby.

She informed Reyansh who started to panic and rushed her to the car. Lakshman who also accompanied them informed the doctors to be ready. They reached the hospital in no time and Vaishu was taken to the private ward. Doctors checked her and informed there was still time to deliver the baby.

Reyansh remembered the last time when he sat in the corner of the room and watched Vaishu go through pain all alone and later he held her hand when she couldn’t bear the pain. But this time he was constantly by her side holding her hand, caressing her hair, massaging her back and he also held her hands to walk for sometime within the room.

When it was time Vaishu was taken to the labor ward and Reyansh accompanied her. He wiped her tears when he himself was crying to see her in pain. With all the screams, crying and tears they finally welcomed their little angel. Reyansh carried her in his arms and kissed her pink cheeks and sole. He placed her above Vaishu’s chest and soon Vaishu fell asleep due to exhaustion.

Ishaan and Ishika reached the hospital with Asha, Mithun, Kajal and Pari. Reyansh let the kids carry the baby and they couldn’t control their excitement to their little sister.

Ishaan: Appa, baby is pink in color.

Reyansh: My muffins were also exactly like baby when you were born. Same to same pink color and cute little eyes, button nose and red lips.

Ishika: She is cute appa and I m big sister now.

Reyansh: Yes, my princess is now a big sister but still my little angel.

Two days later Vaishu was discharged from hospital and a week later they named her Adhvika. They were so happy and enjoyed every moment of their life. Ishu and Ishi loved their little sister and adored her so much.

Again three years later Vaishu gave birth to another to their little Ayaan the naughtiest of all their kids.

The family grew and their love too with each passing year. They have been the best parents to the kids and became the idol parents and role model to their kids.
