Recap: Vikram and Sana were having their own time speaking their heart out.

Sana sat on the bed, leaning against the headboard, while Vikram sat beside her, holding her hand.

“Vicky, tell me, how much do you like me?” she asked, her eyes searching his.

Vikram smiled softly. “Actually, I’m a complete introvert, and I never spoke to any girls. You were the first girl to come near me. When you bumped into me at the temple, I couldn’t see your face, but I felt something different a spark. It was as if my whole body experienced a shock. I still remember the lavender fragrance, it made me forget everything around me. My mom used to have that scent. And then, when you fell on me on the backyard of the hotel, I was completely lost… I was holding your slim, bare waist, so soft, and I didn’t want to let go, but I missed you that time too.”

Sana gazed at him intently. “If you had felt so much, then how did you stay away from Priyanka?”

Vikram chuckled. “When you are my destiny, how could I go near her? I always listen to my heart. Whenever she met me, I never felt the vibe that I had with you. Maybe that missing connection kept me away from her. My soul was already connected to you the first moment we met, so it stayed away from others.”

A soft smile played on Sana’s lips. “I want to live the rest of my life with you and our little family, Vicky. Can I?”

Vikram cupped her face gently. “Of course, Sana. We shall live our life and even make up for all the days we missed.”

“Let me call Dad and inform him that we will visit him tomorrow,” she said, reaching for her phone.

“No, don’t do that. Let it be a surprise,” Vikram suggested. “Now, do you want to rest for a while? You look tired.”

“I will rest for a bit,” she agreed.

He helped her lay down, caressed her hair until she fell asleep, then covered her with a duvet. Quietly, he left the room and made a call. His voice was tense as he spoke, but by the time the conversation ended, a satisfied grin spread across his face. Returning to her side, he sat by the bed, watching over her. Guilt gnawed at him. He wanted to keep her safe and give her all the happiness in the world.

It was around 1 p.m. when Vikram received another call. After finishing it, he gently woke Sana.

“Sana… wake up, sunshine.”

She groaned. “Please, Vicky, let me sleep a little longer.”

He chuckled. “My dear wifey, both you and our baby must be starving. Please wake up and eat. I’ll let you sleep after you finish lunch.”

Sana finally relented, and Vikram carried her to the washroom to freshen up before bringing her downstairs. She was too busy staring at Vikram’s face to notice the people seated in the living room.

“Hey wifey, why are you looking at me like that?” Vikram teased.

“You look so hot and handsome, darling,” she murmured dreamily.

Vikram grinned, placing her gently on the couch. Just then, a throat-clearing sound snapped her out of her daze. Turning, she saw her father, Krishnan, along with Rakshat and Samrat. She was stunned, they had never visited Vikram’s mansion since her marriage. Tears welled up in her eyes as she rushed to hug her father. Rakshat and Samrat joined them, all of them overcome with emotion.

“My little girl, how are you?” Krishnan asked, his voice thick with affection.

“Dad, I’m so happy. How are you? When did you arrive?”

“Vikram invited us all here, Sana. He wanted to surprise you,” Krishnan revealed.

She turned to Rakshat but hesitated, glancing at Vikram. He closed his eyes briefly, as if assuring her that he was no longer the same old Vikram. His moist eyes reflected his guilt.

After embracing Rakshat and Samrat, Sana took a seat as Krishnan spoke.

“Vikram, thank you so much, son. It has been a long time since I’ve seen Sana this happy. Now I feel content seeing you both together.”

Vikram lowered his head. “I’m sorry, Dad. I know I’ve been extremely wrong to all of you. No amount of apologies will justify my actions, but believe me, from now on, you will only see the best of our lives. I will give Sana all the happiness in the world.”

Krishnan smiled. “I know you, Vikram. That’s why I got my daughter married to you. Forget the past, it was just a test phase in your lives. Now that you have overcome it, you’ll have only happiness ahead.”

Vikram turned to Rakshat. “I’m sorry, Rakshat. I know it won’t be easy to forgive me, but I’ll wait for it. Please.”

Rakshat stood in stunned silence. Vikram shook his shoulders gently, bringing him back to the moment.

“Rakshat, I know it’s hard, but please forgive me.”

Samrat spoke up. “Bro, he’s regretting everything. Please forgive him and talk to him.”

Rakshat scoffed. “Shut up, Sam. I’m just in shock that this is actually happening.”

Vikram nodded. “Everything happening is real. You’ll believe me when you’re ready to forgive. I love Sana, and I’ll prove how much she means to me.”

Rakshat sighed. “I’m not angry with you, Vikram. I’m just worried about Sana. I hope you’ll take care of her. But for her sake, I forgive you.”

Vikram exhaled deeply. “Thank you for always standing by her.”

Sana clutched her stomach. “I’m hungry. Can we have lunch now?”

Vikram chuckled. “Of course, sweetheart. I’ve arranged a small lunch party for you all.”

Everyone gathered around the dining table, enjoying a lavish meal. After lunch, Krishnan excused himself to leave.

“Vikram, that was an extraordinary lunch. Thank you. Sana, take care,” Krishnan said.

Before Rakshat and Samrat could leave, Vikram requested them to stay a little longer.

Later, as they relaxed in the living room, Samrat teased, “Sana, it’s been a long time since we heard you sing. Sing a song for us.”

Vikram’s eyes lit up. “You sing?”

Rakshat grinned. “She’s the best. She even had a special song she used to dedicate to you.”

Vikram turned to Sana. “Is that true? Wow…”

Samrat nudged her. “Come on, Sana, sing for your Vikram. Let him hear your love for him.”

Vikram interjected, “No, not now.”

“Why not?” Samrat asked, surprised.

Vikram smirked. “If she chose that song specially for me, then only I should hear it from now on.”

Sana blushed deeply, while Rakshat and Samrat chuckled.

As the evening passed, Vikram saw Sana asleep. He carried her to their room and returned to the living room. “I answered a call from Sana’s phone,” he said grimly. “The one who helped keep me away from her.”

Rakshat and Samrat tensed. “Who could it be?” Samrat asked.

Vikram’s eyes darkened. “The game is on now. But don’t worry, I’ll handle it.”

Amidst their concerns, Vikram turned to them. “By the way, I need your help. I want to know everything Sana likes and dislikes.”

Rakshat and Samrat burst into laughter.

Vikram frowned. “Why are you guys laughing?”

Rakshat smirked. “What else do you expect us to do? If you really want to impress Sana, you should treat her like a child.”

Vikram looked at them, confused. “I don’t get you both.”

Samrat chuckled. “She always behaves like a child. In fact, she is a child at heart. She isn’t fond of expensive things, but you can win her over with a simple chocolate.”

Rakshat nodded in agreement. “She’s a foodie. If you even mention food, she’ll wake up startled from her sleep.”

Samrat grinned. “Mushroom pasta, blueberry pie, macarons, crème brûlée—those are her favorites.”

Rakshat continued, “Purple is her favorite color. And she loves singing. She sings when she’s happy and listens to music when she’s upset. She even has a music room back at home.”

Samrat sighed, his expression softening. “She’s like a butterfly, a firefly—she spreads happiness wherever she goes. But we never thought we’d see her become the exact opposite one day.”

Vikram lowered his gaze, guilt weighing heavy on his heart. “I’m sorry. Everything happened because of me.”

Rakshat placed a reassuring hand on Vikram’s shoulder. “There’s no use in dwelling on the past. We can’t blame you completely. So, let’s move forward.”

And so, the night continued with laughter, healing, and a newfound sense of family.
