Recap: Sara saved and Sharath got Sam and Priyanka under his custoday

********************

The next day, everyone was ready to leave home.

“Sana ma, don’t worry about anything,” her father said, holding her hands. “Vikram is with you and he will protect you at any cost. I’m leaving the country for a business trip and will return in a week. You take care and be happy.”

“Sana, wait here. I’ll send dad off and come back,” Vikram said, walking out with her father, Rakshat, and Pugazh.

“Dad, stay safe and be in touch with either of us always. I’ll arrange for security,” Vikram assured.

“No, Vikram. I will take care. You don’t worry about me. Take care of Sana. She is disturbed too much,” her father replied.

“I will take care, Dad,” Vikram promised.

“Dad, I’ll come and stay with you until you leave for your trip,” Rakshat offered.

Vikram returned to the room with Pugazh.

“Sana, shall we leave?” he asked.

“Sister, be happy. We are with you, and nothing will happen beyond us,” Pugazh said with a smile.

“Sure, bro,” Sana replied softly.

“Bro, I’ll work from home today,” Pranitha said.

“Work will be taken care of, so rest for today,” Vikram responded.

They reached home shortly after. Sana headed straight to her room with Sara.

“Go talk to her. She’ll feel better,” Pugazh nudged Vikram.

Vikram nodded and walked into the room. He found Sana sitting on the couch, silently watching Sara play. She didn’t notice him standing next to her.

“Sana…” he called gently.

No reply.

“Sana baby…” he said again, sitting next to her. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, and she leaned into his chest.

“I feel something bad is about to happen, Vikram,” she whispered.

“Sana, nothing will happen. Stay strong. Have the guts to face anything. You’re Vikram’s wife. Didn’t you realize your strength when you punished Nisha? I’m with you, no matter what. We’re together in everything. Now tell me, what shall we do? Do you want to stay home or shall we go out?”

“We’ll stay home… you go to office and look after work.”

“Business will run, so let’s not worry about that.”

“Amma… Amma… Ap… Ap… Amma!” Sara cried.

They rushed over and saw her toy stuck under the table. Vikram quickly retrieved it and handed it to her.

“Hey wifey,” Vikram chuckled, “she’s trying to call me Appa. When will she say it completely?”

“She’s trying, and very soon you’ll hear it from her,” Sana smiled.

“I’m yearning to hear her call me Appa,” he said, eyes glistening.

Sana kissed his cheek lovingly.

Just then, Vikram’s mobile beeped with a message.

“Sana, I’ll be back in a bit. Just need to finish some work in the study,” he said and walked out.

He dialed Sharath.

“What happened, Sharath?”

“Akash is behind the kidnap of Sara. What shall we do?” Sharath said.

“Let’s not do anything now. Sana is shaken, so let’s be quiet for some time and handle it later.”

“What shall I do with Sam?”

“Let them be without food and water. I’ll come tomorrow,” Vikram ordered and cut the call.

Back in the nursery, Sana was playing with Sara. Vikram returned and joined them on the floor. Sara was giggling, pulling his hair and cheeks.

She took baby steps holding the table.

“Princess, come to Appa,” Vikram encouraged.

“Ap… Ap…” Sara mumbled.

“Come here, baby,” he called again.

“Ap… Appa…” she said clearly.

Vikram dropped to the floor in awe.

“Vikky, our Sara called you Appa!” Sana exclaimed, hugging him.

“Heyyy, my princess called me Appa!” he cheered, lifting her in the air. Sara laughed and hugged him around the neck.

From then, Sara kept repeating “Amma” and “Appa,” making her parents go crazy with joy.

Amudha entered. “Sana, Vikram, come have lunch.”

“Mom! Sara called me Appa!” Vikram beamed.

“Wow, now she’ll start speaking a lot of words. Sana, give Sara to me. I’ll feed her lunch,” Amudha offered.

They all sat down for lunch. Pugazh and Pranitha laughed at Sara turning her face away from food.

“Appa… Appa…” she chanted nonstop.

Unable to contain himself, Vikram took her in his arms and began feeding her from his plate. She ate a few bites from his hand.

“Look at her,” Amudha said proudly. “She’s eating from her father now. I’ll put her to sleep. You all finish lunch.”

Amudha carried Sara and rocked her to sleep, then came out.

“She’s asleep. Did you have lunch?”

“Yes, Mom, we did. Don’t worry,” Vikram replied.

“Okay. I’ll stay with Sara.”

Vikram and Sana returned to their room. She sat on the couch, and Vikram joined her, pulling her onto his lap and hugging her by the waist.

“What are you doing, Mr. Husband?” she teased.

“Nothing, dear.”

“It doesn’t seem like nothing.”

“Let’s just stay like this for a while.”

She turned to face him and cupped his cheeks.

“What happened?”

“Would you do anything I say?”

“Of course I would. Tell me, what should I do?”

“I’ll tell you at the right time. But now, it’s our private time.”

He pulled her into a deep kiss. Their stress melted away as they held each other tight. After a long moment, they broke the kiss.

“Are you happy?” Vikram asked.

“Very happy,” she replied, laying on his lap.

He caressed her hair gently. Feeling at peace, she fell asleep. He stayed still, watching her the entire time.

Later, she woke up and found herself still in his lap.

“Vikky, what are you doing? Why didn’t you move after I slept? Aren’t your legs hurting?” she asked, touching his legs.

“Darling, I’m fine. Come on, sit back.”

“Why do you do this?”

“You looked peaceful and beautiful. I was just watching you.”

She hugged him and kissed his cheek.

“Why do you love me so much?”

“You are my life, baby,” he said, hugging her tightly and kissing her nape.

She blushed and held his shirt tightly. Then she pulled him in for a kiss, biting him playfully.

He slid his hands under her kurti, pulling her closer. Their passion flared. In no time, they tossed their clothes aside, and he carried her to the bed, loving her with unfiltered intensity.

They found solace in each other. The volcano of emotions from the previous day, the fear of losing their princess—all of it disappeared. He lost himself in her, in their world of love.

After their intimate moment, Vikram fell asleep, exhausted. Sana watched him, her eyes soft.

“I know, Vikram. You’re protecting us from my enemies. I know someone tried to kidnap our princess yesterday. You didn’t want me to know because I would get worried. You haven’t slept since last night. I know the way to make you sleep. Rest now, so you can fight again tomorrow.”

She gently brushed his hair and whispered, “I swear I won’t get frightened anymore or make you worry. I will stay strong, and you will win your game. I love you, Vikky.”
