Recap: Sana decides to stay strong and support Vikram
************
Vikram stood at the door of their bedroom, dressed sharply for the day.
“Sana, I have some important meeting. Will return after finishing it,” he said, adjusting his cuff.
“Ok Vikky, take care,” Sana replied with a soft smile.
“Bye, princess,” he whispered, bending down to kiss both Sana and little Sara on their foreheads. With one last look, he turned and walked to the living room.
Pugazh was already waiting. “Shall we leave, Vikram?”
Vikram gave a brief nod. “Hmm, yes.” He turned to Pranitha. “Pranitha, you can work from home today.”
Pranitha simply hummed in acknowledgment. With that, Vikram and Pugazh left the house and texted Sharath to inform him they had started.
Sharath replied shortly, “Hmm ok. I’m at the spot already.”
“Ok then, see you,” Vikram responded.
The car sped through the quiet city and soon reached the outskirts, where an old, rusted factory stood in eerie silence. Sharath was already at the entrance, waiting.
The trio entered the dark interior of the factory. Inside, tied to pillars, were Sam and Priyanka—weak, pale, and barely conscious from the lack of food and water.
The moment Vikram laid eyes on Sam, all hell broke loose.
“Bastard! How dare you kidnap my princess?!” he roared.
He charged forward and began landing brutal punches on Sam. Blue and black welts immediately began forming on Sam’s skin. Sharath, Pugazh, and the guards tried to restrain Vikram, but his rage was uncontrollable. It was as if years of frustration were erupting all at once.
“Let me go,” Sam gasped in between blows.
“Let him go! Please spare him!” Priyanka cried out desperately.
Vikram turned to her, eyes blazing. “Whom do you want me to let go?” he spat and picked up a nearby wooden log. Without a second thought, he stabbed her in the side with it. “I never show my anger towards women, but you are not at all a woman. Filthy.”
“Don’t harm her… Do anything to me… leave her,” Sam begged.
“Oh, so much of love, is it? Disgusting,” Vikram mocked.
“Please leave us… We will not get into your life anymore… Please leave us,” Priyanka sobbed. “We did everything just as Akash wanted us to do. Please let go of us.”
Vikram stepped closer, voice low and venomous. “Not so easily, bitch. Those three hours were the worst of my life. They scared me like hell, and you were the reason behind it. You dared to kidnap my daughter. I will show you hell. You won’t enjoy an easy death.”
He dragged Sam to a water drum and plunged his face into it. Sam thrashed, struggling for breath. Everyone around froze. One glare from Vikram was enough to stop even the bravest of them from interfering. He was feral.
Then, Vikram turned to Priyanka again, pulling off his belt and lashing it across her back and shoulders. Her screams echoed through the factory.
“Don’t harm her, please! Let her go!” Sam shouted, helpless.
“Oh, sir did everything for this bitch, huh?” Vikram sneered. “Then I’ll plan something special for you. Let me give you an option. Akash will be here in a while and I’ll release two of you. Now tell me—whom should I kill?”
“Kill Akash and let us go!” Sam cried without hesitation.
“Oh?” Vikram turned to Priyanka. “Let’s hear from her too.”
“Kill Sam,” she said coldly.
Sam’s eyes widened. He looked at her in shock, heart broken. “Priya… What did you just say? I love you, Priya.”
“Shut up,” she snapped. “You have no purpose to be alive.”
“I did everything only for you! What did I benefit from this?”
“So? You came after me. It was you who confirmed you’d do anything I ask for.”
“So… you didn’t love me? Is it?” Sam asked, devastated.
“Love?” Priyanka scoffed. “There is no love in this world. It’s all about money, life, and happiness.”
“I trusted you,” Sam whispered.
“Just shut up.”
Vikram laughed bitterly. “Wow, Pugazh, Sharath—did you guys watch this disgusting scene? He ran behind this bitch and did everything as if she’s the goddess of love.”
Then he turned darkly serious. “Sharath, hang them.”
Without question, Sharath gave a signal. The guards fashioned makeshift nooses, tied them around Sam and Priyanka’s necks, and hoisted them up. Their legs kicked helplessly as they fought for air.
“Cut the rope,” Vikram ordered.
The guards obeyed. The two bodies crashed to the ground, barely breathing. Vikram walked over and pressed his shoe against their faces.
“How was it? Did you enjoy? I felt worse than this when you kidnapped my daughter. So what shall we do now? Sharath, give me some idea.”
Sharath’s face was grim. “He kidnapped Sara. So, we shall break the bone of his hand that touched our baby.”
Vikram’s expression turned almost gleeful. “Wow, I love this. Go ahead and break their hands.”
“No, no! Please don’t do this!” Sam screamed.
The guards grabbed Sam and twisted his arms. With a sickening crack, the bones broke. Sam screamed in sheer agony before losing consciousness.
Priyanka, now terrified beyond words, crawled backward, trying to escape what was coming next.
Vikram’s eyes burned with fury as he turned to the guards. “Why did you let her go? Do I need to give commands separately? Do it.”
The guards moved toward Priyanka. She backed away, trembling, her voice breaking in desperation. “Please kill me! Don’t torture me… kill me, please kill me!”
“I heard nothing,” Vikram said coldly.
“Please kill me! I can’t take that pain, please kill me!” she begged again, her screams echoing.
“I want you both to beg for death,” Vikram growled. “So enjoy your hell until then.”
One glare from him was enough. The guard stepped forward, took Priyanka’s hand, and twisted it brutally. A loud scream tore from her throat as she collapsed to the floor. Both Sam and Priyanka soon fell unconscious from the pain and injuries.
Two hours passed. Vikram, Pugazh, and Sharath waited patiently. When Sam and Priyanka slowly regained consciousness, Vikram didn’t waste a second.
“Hang them,” he ordered immediately.
The guards looped ropes around their necks and hoisted them up again. Minutes passed before Vikram gave the signal. The ropes were cut, and their bodies crashed to the floor, broken and barely alive.
“Please kill us…” Sam cried, sobbing. “I can’t take this anymore… please kill…”
Priyanka had no strength left to speak. She crawled toward Vikram’s feet, sobbing, silently begging for death.
Vikram picked up a spade nearby, his eyes dark with rage. Without hesitation, he struck Priyanka’s head. Blood splattered across the concrete floor. Her body went limp, lifeless.
Just then, Vikram’s phone rang. It was Rakshat.
“Yes, Raksha. What is the matter?” Vikram answered.
“Akash started his play,” Rakshat said urgently. “He announced to the press that he will take over Sana Groups.”
“Just announcement, right? Let him do it. We shall deal.”
“Sana would have watched the news. Go home soon.”
“Okay. I will take care… You keep track of dad.”
Vikram ended the call and turned to Sam, his fury escalating. He yanked Sam up by the collar and kicked him hard.
“Bastard, why does Sana have to face so much problem just because of you?”
Without another word, he lifted the spade and began hitting Sam brutally. Blood pooled beneath Sam, and his body eventually went limp.
Pugazh grabbed Vikram’s arm. “Vikram, stop it! He is dead.”
Breathing heavily, Vikram dropped the spade. His clothes and arms were soaked in blood.
“I will dispose the body. You take your leave,” Sharath said.
“Don’t dispose it. Do as I say,” Vikram instructed calmly and walked away.
He and Pugazh went to a room in the factory where Vikram kept clothes and toiletries for such situations. Vikram took a bath, changed into fresh clothes, and rejoined Pugazh.
“Vikram,” Pugazh said as he checked his phone. “Sana called me just now. I said you’re in a meeting.”
Vikram gave a small nod, and they both left for home. As soon as they arrived, Sana came running with Sara in her arms and tears in her eyes.
“Sana,” Vikram said firmly, “leave Sara with mom and meet me.”
She quickly handed Sara to Amudha and followed Vikram into their room.
Meanwhile, in the living room, Pranitha turned to Pugazh. “Pugazh, did you watch the news about the announcement by Akash?”
“We did,” he replied calmly. “But don’t worry, Vikram will handle him.”
“Where is dad?” she asked, concerned.
“Rakshat is looking for him. Don’t worry about that, he’ll be fine. We’ll rescue him by night.”
Inside their bedroom, Sana wrapped her arms around Vikram, crying into his chest.
“Sana, what did I tell you?” he asked, stroking her hair.
“I know, Vikky… but where is dad?”
“I promise you,” Vikram said gently, lifting her chin. “Before night, I will make you speak to dad. He will be safe.”
“Akash has announced that he will take over our business,” she said, worried.
“Don’t you believe me?” Vikram asked, his voice calm.
“More than me,” she whispered. “But he says he has the complete papers to take over Sana Groups. He’s also called for the board of directors’ meet tomorrow.”
“I know… I have seen the video.”
“What should we do now?” she asked, her voice breaking. “It’s dad’s blood and sweat of all these years.”
“Sana, do as I say, okay? I will be with you… Don’t worry.”
Vikram then explained his counter-strategy in detail. Sana listened intently, and eventually, she nodded. She agreed to his plan, trusting him completely.
