Ishaan and Pari watched the security chief torture the boys who refused to confess the truth about carrying drugs to the hotel. Ishaan waited patiently, though he was raging inside to reach out and kill them.
Pari held on to Ishaan’s arm as she watched everything unfold on the huge screen in the room.
The chief finally gave up and looked back at the camera as if he were communicating with Ishaan. Ishaan immediately pulled Pari to his chest, hiding her from the screen. She heard a gunshot followed by the boys’ screams. She ripped Ishaan’s hands away to look at the screen and saw two men carrying the body of a dead boy while the others trembled with fear.
The security chief pulled out a chair and sat opposite them, the gun now tucked into his waistband.
“Now, I’ll give you one last chance to spill the beans. Who is the mastermind behind all the drug parties? You have exactly five seconds to answer,” the chief said, and looked at the guards, who immediately pointed their guns at each of the boys.
“Don’t kill us. I don’t know who is behind this. We are a network and carry out tasks for corporates across the country, Everyone who were partying at the hotel across the country are our men. It’s a huge network spread across the country, we have people of all ages working for us. We only work for billionaires and corporates. Once a task is received, teams and locations are selected based on sensitivity and requirement. In this case my team was assigned the task and the location was chosen by my boss. Once the job is done, we go lowkey until we are called for the next assignment.”, one of the boys who had led the team confessed.
Ishaan whistled softly at the information and waited for the interrogation to continue.
“Who is your boss? Where is he now?” the chief demanded.
The boy gulped and hung his head, then immediately snapped upright when he heard the trigger being pulled. He watched a guard ready to shoot another man from his team and panicked, trying to stop him.
“No—no, please don’t shoot. I will confess everything I know. My boss is someone else, but I know who runs this network. No one knows that I know the actual boss. I was at a party with my immediate manager and happened to see who’s actually running things. He is… he is… Kabir Chauhan,” the boy mumbled, swallowing hard with fear.
Ishaan rose from his seat in shock when he heard the name. Everyone at Rey’s manor who had been watching the live feed was stunned.
“Kabir Chauhan?” the chief of security repeated, and the boy bobbed his head.
“Yes. Kabir Chauhan, son of Pratap Chauhan, the opposition party head.” the boy replied without any hesitation.
Ishaan kicked the seat in frustration and barked at the chief. “Find the location of their base, where this network operates. Lock them down until you hear from me.”
He cut the call and turned to Pari with a small, tired smile.
“You haven’t slept, Ishu. You need some rest before you start a war,” she said.
He let her words through. They returned to Pari’s room, Ishaan locked the door and headed for the relaxation bed. He kicked off his shoes and lay back, opening his arms for her. Pari slid in beside him, resting her head on his arm. Ishaan tilted her chin and captured her lips in a kiss. They kissed slowly, when they finally pulled back it felt like time itself had paused.
“Let’s rest for a few hours until the chief comes back with the location,” Ishaan mumbled. Pari hummed in agreement and wrapped an arm around his waist. They slept soundly for four hours, then lay awake, fingers playing together as they watched each other.
“Do you want me to take you home? You can stay with my family until I finish this. Maybe a couple of days or a week, I’ll come back to you. Is that okay?” he asked, kissing the corner of her mouth.
“No, Ishu. I want to be with you in everything you do. I may not contribute much to your plans, but I’ve been the reason this all started, and I won’t step back. Even if it means watching you kill them or doing it with my own hands. I might black out, but I won’t regret it. I cost our family their peace.”
Ishaan hovered over her and kissed her, holding her hands above her head. This kiss was anything but gentle, he kissed her with heat and need. When he stopped, he nuzzled her neck and pressed himself against her.
“He attacked her neck and pressed his bulge against her clothed core.”
“How many times do I have to repeat that you should stop blaming yourself? You were just a pawn in their game, just like me. You deserve punishment for going against my orders and for not obeying me.”
Ishaan raised his head, Pari saw his jaw clench in frustration, clear proof she had truly angered him. Despite the rage, she could feel his hardness against her and lifted her hip to press closer. Ishaan placed a hand on her abdomen and gently pushed her back down.
“Don’t, Pari. I don’t want to unleash my rage on you. I might tear you apart with all my frustration, so wait until we’ve finished wiping out our enemies. Later, I’ll take care of my beautiful wife’s kitty.”
Ishaan’s breath grew heavier as his control began to slip. He leaned closer, inhaling her familiar scent that stirred something wild inside him. Before he could move away, Pari pulled him back, her hand gripping the back of his neck.
“All of you belongs to me, Ishu. If I can bear your love, I can bear your rage too. Don’t shut me out, give me all of it,” she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.
Pari kissed his ear, gently biting his earlobe and tugged his hoop earring with her teeth. Ishaan moved down to the edge of the bed and pulled down her pant along with her lace panty. He discarded his clothes, his breath ragged in need and fury. He wrapped her legs around his waist and pushed his length in a go. Pari screamed in both pain and pleasure. He ripped her shirt, bra and groped on to her bosom.
With every thrust he looked deep into her eyes and after few thrust he pulled put out of her. Before she could speak he flipped her and raised her hip in air and pushed in from behind. She came reaching her high but he wasn’t done and flipped her once again. Holding her waist, he pounded into her reaching deep into her. Pari moaned and clutched the sheets screaming his name.
Ishaan held her tightly, their breaths mingling as he claimed her lips in a kiss that was rough, desperate, and filled with everything they couldn’t say. The world around them blurred as their anger, pain, and love melted into one fevered rhythm.
When it was over, Pari lay beneath him, her body trembling, their hearts still racing in sync. Ishaan brushed her hair from her face and pressed a gentle kiss to her cheek, a silent apology for all the chaos between them.
“Did I hurt you? I’m sorry, baby,” Ishaan mumbled, but Pari smiled at him.
“Nope, Ishu. I’m absolutely fine, you could never hurt me. Now that you’re feeling better, let’s go out. I’m sure the chief must have gotten some information about the location,” Pari said. Ishaan pulled out of her embrace and carried her to the washroom. They got ready and returned to the boardroom.
Ayaan was already there, lost in thought.
“Did something happen while I was gone?”
Ayaan looked at Ishaan and bobbed his head, leaning back in his seat.
“That girl is missing from the hospital. The doctors have no idea who she is,” he said.
Ishaan frowned and sat next to Ayaan.
“I sent our guards to look for my chain, but they couldn’t find it, and the girl is gone too. They got the hospital footage, but I have no clue about her since her face was covered in dirt when I admitted her. Everything that happened last night is so strange. She wore a mask and left the hospital this morning, even the doctors couldn’t identify her,” Ayaan said, cursing himself for saving her. Ishaan’s mind drifted to his father’s words about meeting their mother, but he shook his head and pressed a hand on Ayaan’s shoulder.
“Don’t worry. We’ll handle anything that comes our way. Let’s talk to the Chief now.”
Ayaan hummed in response and immediately called the Chief of Security.
“Sir, we have tracked Kabir’s mobile and traced all the locations he visited. We found a few suspicious places and have sent our men to check them. We should have updates in less than three hours,” the Chief replied. Ishaan cut the call, lost in thought.
He picked up his mobile from the table, dialed Varun’s number and put the call on speaker. Pari and Ayaan exchanged frowns at him for calling Varun, but waited to listen. Varun picked up on the last ring.
“Wow, the great Ishaan Rey called me? What do I owe you, Mr. Ishaan? Wait, where are my manners? Shouldn’t I be wishing you? Congratulations, and a very, very, very happy married life with my ex-fiancé,” Varun drawled. Ishaan chuckled at the words, though inside he felt like ripping the man out of the phone.
Alas, he didn’t have that power.
“Thank you. Though my wife might not be thrilled to receive wishes from cheap bastards. Now let’s get straight to business. I hope you’re happy with what you’ve done. Tell me, what’s your demand to end this?” Ishaan asked. A heavy silence followed for a few seconds before Varun answered.
“Give me equal shares in Rey’s group of hotels, twenty percent of Rey’s empire. Don’t call that my final demand. If you agree to those two, we’ll call it a truce and then I’ll tell you my real terms. I’ll set everything right,” Varun said. Pari was about to speak, but Ishaan pressed a finger to her lips to stop her.
“Well, good luck ruining me,” Ishaan said, and cut the call.
“What the hell did he think he was doing? How dare that bastard ask for equal shares in your hotels and twenty percent of Rey’s empire. Ishaan Reyansh Badrinath, let’s go out and kill that motherfucker this instant ” Pari spat.
Ishaan and Ayaan laughed at her curse. Ishaan pulled her into his lap and pinched her nose, then leaned in and kissed her earlobe.
“You look damn sexy when you curse, love. You’re turning me on but you’ll have your chance to kill him, so don’t worry,” Ishaan said. He then dialed another number, it was answered on the first ring.
“Get Varun and his family to the yacht. I’ll meet him tonight,” Ishaan ordered, then cut the call.
“That fucker thinks he has power over us just because we didn’t reach out. Let’s show him how much mercy we’ve already given him by letting him live. Time to bid him a final goodbye,” Ishaan said, and Pari kissed his cheek.
Just then, his mobile rang, it was the Chief of Security.
“Sir, we found the bases. They operate from four locations across the country. Awaiting your orders to proceed,” he reported. Ishaan’s excitement was palpable.
“Take a reporter and do full coverage of all the locations. Neutralize everyone working in those networks, or at least as many as possible. Get their exclusive interviews and send them to me. Share them with the media and social media influencers, let the world see the reality. Our PR team has done enough work so this time, let the public do it for us,” Ishaan instructed. Ayaan and Pari chuckled at his tone.
Ishaan rolled up his sleeves and looked at Pari and Ayaan.
“Ready for dinner on the yacht?”
