Recap: Priyanka manipulates Vikram to act against Sahana

****************************

Vikram’s anger had reached its peak the moment he heard that Sahana was planning to leave the country.

The news shattered whatever little control he had left.

In a fit of uncontrollable rage, he began throwing and breaking everything in his room. The sound of glass shattering echoed through the mansion while his breathing turned heavy with fury.

His fists clenched tightly before he slammed one hard against the wall.

The impact split his knuckles instantly, blood dripping down his hand, but he barely felt the pain.

All he could think about was one thing. Sahana was leaving him.

Without wasting another second, Vikram stormed out of the house and drove straight to the hospital where she had been admitted.

At the hospital, Sahana slowly opened her eyes and  winced as a sharp pain spread through her head. The weakness in her body made even sitting up feel exhausting.

The moment Rakshat noticed her struggling, he immediately moved closer and supported her carefully. Seeing her so fragile and drained broke his heart.

“How do you feel, Sahana?” he asked softly.

“Hmmm… I feel better, Rakshat. Stop worrying so much now.” she murmured weakly.

Rakshat looked at her silently for a moment before speaking again.

“Do you want to tell me what really happened I’ve been waiting for you to talk to me… though I already know some of it.” he asked gently.

Sahana lowered her eyes guiltily.

“I’m sorry, I dragged you into my mess… and because of me, you haven’t even been able to live your own life peacefully.” she whispered.

“Please stop saying that, Sahana. For once, just listen to me.” Rakshat said firmly and sat beside her and held her hand carefully.

“We’re leaving the country tonight. I don’t see any other way out of this situation.” he said and Sahana looked at him in shock.

“The doctor told me you’re too weak to even take care of yourself right now. At least think about the baby.” he said and Sahana sighed tiredly.

“Do you really think leaving the country will solve everything?” she asked weakly.

“I know it won’t solve all the problems, but right now, your health is my priority. Just trust me. I’ve made all the arrangements. We’re not coming back until after you deliver the baby.” Rakshat admitted honestly.

Sahana stayed silent for a few moments before mumbling softly,

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in my life anymore… but right now, I’m starving.”

Rakshat smiled faintly. “I knew you’d say that.”

He opened the food container he had brought. “Look… your favorite mushroom pasta.”

Taking a spoonful carefully, he fed her gently. But for the first time, even her favorite food brought her no happiness. The bitterness in her life had numbed every little joy she once cherished. Still, she forced herself to eat for the sake of the baby growing inside her.

Rakshat patiently continued feeding her until suddenly, the slow sound of clapping echoed through the room.

Both of them froze.

Turning toward the entrance, they saw Vikram standing there.

His eyes were bloodshot with rage, his jaw clenched tightly, and the fury radiating from him made the entire atmosphere suffocating.

“Wow, what a beautiful scene. Looks like you two finally found time for each other.” Vikram said sarcastically, clapping once more.

Rakshat immediately stood up. “Vikram, mind your words. You better leave.” he warned coldly.

Before things could escalate, Sahana quickly intervened.

“Rakshat, please calm down. I don’t want any scene here in the hospital.” she pleaded weakly.

Vikram laughed bitterly. “That’s wonderful, my dear wifey. You seem very concerned about your boyfriend.” he mocked.

“Get out, Mr. Vikram. You have no business being here. It’s better if you stay out of her life.” Rakshat snapped angrily.

“And who exactly are you to tell me that? I came here to see my wife. What’s your problem with that?” Vikram shot back dangerously.

Rakshat clenched his fists. “Wife?” he repeated bitterly. “Do you even understand the meaning of that word anymore, Vikram?”

His eyes filled with frustration as he looked at Sahana.

“Sahana, it’s because of your silence and tolerance that he has turned into a monster.”

“Mind your words, Mr. Whoever-you-are. This is between me and my wife. Now get out.” Vikram growled.

Sahana immediately looked at Rakshat desperately.

“Please, I’ve already caused you enough trouble. I don’t want you getting hurt because of me too. Just leave.” she whispered.

Rakshat looked torn. “I can’t leave you alone with him. What if he hurts you again?” he argued.

“Nothing will happen to me. Please… just go.” Sahana assured him softly.

Rakshat hesitated for several long seconds before finally giving in. “Fine, but I’ll come back soon to check on you.” he muttered reluctantly.

As Rakshat walked toward the door, Vikram’s eyes followed him with pure hatred and possessiveness.

The moment the door closed behind him, silence filled the room. Then Vikram spoke coldly.

“So… my dear wife seems very happy in another man’s embrace.”

“Stop it, Vikram, Don’t spit such poisonous words at me. He’s my friend. He was only taking care of me.” Sahana snapped weakly.

“Friend? Oh really?” Vikram laughed mockingly and his expression darkened dangerously.

“Then why don’t you just sign the divorce papers and end this drama?” he spat and Sahana stared at him silently.

“If money is the problem, I can give you as much as you want. Just sign the damn papers.” he screamed.

For a moment, Sahana simply looked into his furious eyes and then she answered softly but firmly, “Sorry, Vikram… I will not.”

Enraged, Vikram grabbed her chin with one hand and her neck with the other, making her gasp for air. She struggled, suffocating, until he finally let go with a look of pure disgust.

Vikram’s eyes burned with uncontrollable rage as he stared at Sahana.

“What do you even think of me? Am I some kind of joke to you?” he shouted bitterly.

Sahana flinched at the harshness in his voice, but despite her fear and weakness, she still tried to reach him calmly.

“Vikram… please calm down and listen to me for once. We’re going to have a baby soon. At least for the sake of our child, please try to understand me.” she pleaded softly.

But her words only fueled his anger further. The veins in his neck tightened, and his trembling hands suddenly grabbed her hair harshly.

“Aah… Vikram…” Sahana cried out in pain, tears instantly filling her eyes.

He clenched his jaw furiously as he forced her to look at him.

“How dare you? Do you think I’m a fool to take responsibility for your sin?” he roared.

Sahana froze completely.

“What… what do you mean?” she whispered in disbelief.

“I mean exactly what you think. Don’t stand here pretending to be innocent and try to pin your mistake on me.” Vikram spat venomously and his grip tightened painfully.

“And don’t you dare call that child mine. I would rather kill you than accept this betrayal” he shouted.

Those words shattered something deep inside Sahana. For a moment, all the pain, humiliation, and heartbreak she had endured came crashing down on her at once.

With trembling fury, she raised her hand to slap him. But before her palm could reach his face, Vikram caught her wrist roughly and shoved her away violently.

Sahana lost her balance instantly. Just as she was about to hit the floor, another pair of arms caught her.

“Vikram ”, Priyanka’s sharp voice echoed through the room.

“Why are you behaving so cruelly? Can’t you see her condition?” she demanded angrily.

Vikram turned around in shock. “Priya? What are you doing here?”

“I came to see her, Now please leave.”  Priyanka replied calmly before stepping protectively beside Sahana.

Vikram’s expression darkened immediately.

“No, I’m not leaving you alone with her. We’re leaving together.” he said coldly.

Without waiting for another word, he stormed out of the room. Priyanka followed closely behind him.

As they walked away, Sahana’s eyes fell on Priyanka’s face for a brief second.

And there it was. That smirk. A small, wicked smile filled with satisfaction.

In that single moment, Sahana understood everything. Priyanka had succeeded. She had poisoned Vikram’s mind completely against her.

The realization crushed whatever little strength Sahana had left.

Every pain she endured…
Every humiliation she silently tolerated…
Every tear she swallowed…

It all suddenly felt meaningless.

Each hateful word Vikram threw at her had torn apart pieces of her soul little by little. And yet, through all of it, she had held onto one tiny hope.

That one day he would change. If not for her…At least for their child but now, even that hope had died.

The man she loved no longer trusted her, no longer respected her, no longer saw her truth.

All she had left now was her dignity.

And for the first time…

Sahana finally understood what she needed to do next.
