Akash’s Residence
“I will not leave that Vikram,” Akash growled, his fists clenched in rage.
“Shut up, Akash!” his father snapped. “I’ve warned you countless times to stay away from that girl. If you cross Vikram’s path again, I swear you’ll be alone in your battle. Have you ever thought what happens if I’m not there to save you next time? He’s a demon. He’ll destroy anything in his way, and now you’re after his wife? He will not spare you.”
“Dad…” Akash’s voice was cold but firm. “I know what I’m doing. And I don’t expect you to come behind me for help. I will ruin him… no matter what.”
His father stared at him for a moment, then walked away in silence, knowing his son was digging his own grave.
Vikram Mansion
“Pugazh, when will mom return?” Pranitha asked, sipping her juice. “It’s been a month. I think she’s really enjoying her vacation.”
“She’ll be back next week,” Pugazh replied with a smile. “Sara’s birthday is in two weeks, so she’ll be here before that.”
“We should plan a grand party for our darling,” Pranitha beamed.
Just then, Vikram and Sana entered with little Sara in Vikram’s arms.
“What are you planning?” Vikram asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Bro! We were discussing Sara’s birthday,” Pranitha said excitedly.
“Hmmm,” Vikram nodded, looking at his baby girl. “My princess’s birthday should be nothing less than a festival.”
“Vikky, let’s have a simple party,” Sana suggested gently.
“Why?” he pouted playfully. “Please, I have so many wishes for my princess.”
“Fine… as you wish,” Sana agreed with a smile.
“Pugazh, we’ll have the party at our Paradise Hotel. Stop bookings for a week. I want the entire hotel decorated with a princess theme. Invite all the elites of our state for the evening party.”
“I’ll take care of that,” Pranitha jumped in.
“Okay, Pranitha,” Vikram nodded.
“But,” Sana added, “let’s also celebrate the day before with the children at the orphanage.”
“Of course,” Vikram smiled. “We’ll take them all for a day out. Sharath will handle the arrangements. We’ll go to a movie and lunch with them.”
“Wow,” Sana’s face lit up. “That sounds amazing.”
Suddenly, all conversation stopped as Sara babbled, “Amm… Amm… Amma… Amma…”
Sana’s eyes welled with tears, hearing her baby girl call her Amma for the first time. Vikram immediately lifted Sara in his arms and smothered her with kisses. The entire family was overjoyed, cherishing every moment of Sara’s growing milestones.
A week later, Amudha returned home. Preparations for Sara’s birthday were in full swing. Two days before the big day, Vikram received an unexpected call from Rakshat.
“Vikky,” Rakshat’s voice was urgent. “Sam and Priyanka escaped from prison.”
Vikram’s tone turned cold as he answered the phone. “What? How did this happen?”
“Akash paid the jailor,” Rakshat replied, his voice tight with frustration. “They escaped last night. The commissioner called me personally and asked that I inform you immediately. A search team’s already been deployed.”
Vikram’s jaw clenched. “We’ll deal with it. But not until after Princess’s birthday. That comes first. Until then, tighten security around everyone. Inform our detective—I want every move those two make tracked.”
“Understood,” Rakshat said. “And we make sure Sana doesn’t get a whiff of this.”
“I’ll handle her. You just stay with Dad during the party.”
“Hmm,” Rakshat nodded. “I’ve already informed Pugazh as well.”
Vikram hung up and immediately called Sharath and his guards to increase security measures.
The Big Day
“Sara is one year old today…” Sana whispered, her eyes filled with joy.
“Our princess,” Vikram smiled, looking at their daughter sleeping peacefully in her crib.
As she woke up rubbing her eyes and nose, she saw Vikram and Sana standing nearby and reached her hands out. Vikram picked her up and kissed her cheeks.
“Happy birthday, my princess,” he whispered.
“Happy birthday, Sara baby,” Sana smiled, kissing her other cheek.
Pugazh, Pranitha, and Amudha entered their room and wished Sara with warm smiles.
“Sana, get Sara ready,” Amudha said. “We’ll wait for you downstairs.”
Sana bathed Sara while Vikram helped dress her in a custom-designed silk dress. After breakfast, the family left for the temple under tight security. A special puja was performed for Sara.
Later, except for Amudha, everyone headed to the orphanage. The children were thrilled to see Sara, and Sara was equally delighted by their presence. Vikram announced that he was taking all the kids to a movie and lunch. Joy filled the air.
They traveled by a private bus, laughing and bonding. At the restaurant, the kids had a delicious lunch, then headed to a private movie screening in a fully booked theatre. Afterward, the children were dropped back, and Vikram’s family proceeded to the Paradise Hotel.
The hotel had been transformed into a magical wonderland. Barbie and cartoon posters adorned every corner. Balloons and snowflakes decorated the grand hall. It was like Disneyland had come alive, especially for the elite guests and their children.
“Vikram bro, Sana, how are the arrangements?” Pranitha asked proudly.
“I love everything, sister-in-law!” Sana beamed. “I feel like playing here myself!”
“Then go play, baby,” Pranitha laughed.
“No,” Sana yawned. “I’m already tired. Let’s rest first, play later.”
“Sure, go rest for a while,” Vikram said.
The manager escorted them to their VIP rooms.
“Are you happy, wifey?” Vikram asked softly.
“No bounds. I’m so happy,” Sana replied, hugging him. “I love you, Vikky.”
“Good. Now rest—you both will need energy later.”
After a refreshing rest, they began getting ready. Pranitha helped Sana dress Sara in a stunning pink Cinderella frock with matching hair accessories. Vikram took Sara while Sana got styled.
“Vikky, hold her for a while. The stylist is waiting for me.”
“Hmm okay. I’ll be with Pugazh. You and Pranitha get ready.”
Sana wore a matching pink gown with a diamond necklace. Her hair was tied in a soft messy bun—she looked gorgeous. Pranitha dazzled in a blue floral gown with curled hair.
They called Vikram and Pugazh to their room. Vikram, dressed in a pink shirt with a waistcoat and black pants, was stunned. Pugazh, in a blue blazer, stood beside him equally speechless.
“You both look stunning,” Vikram whispered, unable to take his eyes off Sana.
He winked, and she bit her cheek shyly.
“I’ll come and take you both,” Vikram said. “You wait here.”
Soon, guests began to arrive. Rakshat entered with Krishnan, Sana’s father.
“Dad, how are you?” Vikram greeted.
“I’m fine, Vikram. How about everyone else?”
“All good, Pa. Come, Rakshat will take you to your table.”
Pugazh was checking security frequently. Once the hall was filled, Vikram and Pugazh brought Pranitha, Sana, and Sara.
As the trio walked in, Vikram holding Sara, they looked every bit like royalty. The guests were mesmerized by the stunning couple and their angelic daughter.
Rakshat signaled the manager, and the grand Barbie-themed cake was brought in. Sana held Sara’s hand and cut the cake. Everyone clapped, and the hall echoed with joy.
Entertainment programs followed for the kids. Dinner was lavish with multiple cuisines, and return gifts were specially chosen toys for each child.
Sara giggled endlessly, enjoying the colors, lights, and children around her. Vikram couldn’t stop smiling.
As the last of the guests began trickling out, Sana walked up to Vikram, her arms gently wrapped around a drowsy Sara.
“Vikky, Sara’s exhausted. I’ll take her upstairs to the room.”
Vikram glanced at his daughter with concern. “Did you feed her?”
“She ate a little,” Sana replied softly. “I’ll try again and then put her to sleep.”
“I’ll come with you.”
Sana shook her head. “No, you stay until the guests leave. I’ll go with sister-in-law and Amudha mom. Don’t worry.”
“Are you sure? I don’t want you going alone.”
“I’m sure.” She smiled reassuringly before turning toward Pranitha. “Sister-in-law, shall we go to our room?”
Pranitha nodded and walked beside her. As they made their way through the hallway, her dress snagged on the edge of a decorative console table.
“Ah—Sana, you go ahead. Sara looks like she might fall asleep any second.”
Sana paused, then nodded. “Okay. Come soon.” She continued walking with the little girl nestled against her shoulder.
Just as she crossed a few feet ahead, a sudden stillness gripped the corridor. Then came a piercing scream.
“SANA!” Pranitha’s voice rang out in terror.
Someone had grabbed Sara and was running. Sana was lying on the floor.
