Chapter 53

Six months Later:

Aadhi was seated in the living watching a series while Rishi was out to look after the decorations of their new home. The construction of their new home was completed and they had planned the house warming ceremony which was the next day. Aadhi moved to the kitchen to prepare coffee when Rishi returned home. On hearing the sound of the door open Aadhi too walked out of the kitchen and both froze on seeing the scene that was playing on the TV. The male and female lead in the series were too busy in their intimacy and their moans filled the living of Rishi and Aadhi’s home.

Aadhi gasped on seeing it and she immediately rushed to the couch and turned it off. She slowly turned to Rishi who was looking at her with a heated gaze.

Rishi: Are you trying to provoke me Aadhu baby ?

Aadhi: Nope Rishi… no.. no, I was just watching the series and wanted a coffee so I was in the kitchen. I would have skipped this scene if I had been here watching it. I just read dark romance, I swear, I haven’t watched such scenes even from series or movies. I … I always skipped such romantic scenes .. except may be I watched only kissing scenes.

Rishi burst out laughing and pinched her nose before he pulled her into a hug. Aadhi facepalmed and smiled at the embarrassment that she faced.

Rishi: Don’t feel embarrassed, now get me a coffee too.

Aadhi pulled back from the hug and made her way to the kitchen with Rishi tailing behind her not before spanking her which Aadhi was used to now.

Rishi: Everything is ready love, our home is just awaiting for us to spread our love in it. I have informed Sudhir to follow up with everyone. He has arranged for the return gifts for the guest just like you wanted it.

Aadhi: I just can’t wait for tomorrow. Rishu, did you talk to uncle and aunty ?

Rishi: Yep, they will arrive on time for the pooja. Aadhu, they were so happy and excited for tomorrow.

Aadhi: Why wouldn’t they be ? You changed them Rishu. I m happy to see the changes in them. Uncle smile a lot these days, he never fail to call us to atleast twice a week to check on us. You know, I was shocked to see Vani aunty having food with us and she let maids to cook food.

Rishi: Do you know how these changes happened ? All these happened because of you. You came into my life, our family and you first changed me and then my family. You brought sense, light and happiness in our lives.

Aadhi: I did nothing like you say Rishu but I did one thing and that is I loved you, I love you and I will love you forever.

Rishi held her chin and pecked her lips with a smile. Aadhi pushed him and started pouring coffee for him.

They stood leaning on the counter and sipped the coffee watching the kitchen and the living from where they stood.

Aadhi: This home has too many memories. Am I right ?

Rishi: Yes, but don’t worry we shall we visit once in a while and spend some time together and may be watch a series like you did now.

Rishi placed the cup on the counter and ran out before Aadhi could reach him. Aadhi chased him in the living and they were running non stop. Finally they reached the terrace and Rishi jumped into the pool pulling her with him.

They rose above the water and Aadhi bit his cheek and glared at him.

Rishi: Good that you bit me and I m sure you left a mark. All the guest would notice the mark and I will flaunt that my wife was wild in bed and gifted me the mark.

Aadhi: You are such a tease Rishu. It doesn’t mean you are so holy. You are so cunning and leave marks in places which people couldn’t see. Dirty and grumpy uncle.

Rishi burst out laughing and hoisted her to wrap her legs around his waist. Aadhi knew what was coming and just like she expected Rishi started kissing and sucking on her chest. Few minutes later they walked out of the pool and Aadhi glared at him pointing to the mark on her chest. Rishi winked at her and wrapped a towel around her body.

At Vimal and Manajri’s home he returned from office and saw Manjari watching a romantic movie. He sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her but Manjari moved away and poured water for him. Vimal watched her face that had lost all the smiles the moment he had arrived.

He has been noticing a lot changes in her in the recent days which worried him a lot. She wouldn’t smile at him, their dinner dates weren’t the same anymore. He would talk and she would just listen, their intimacy wasn’t the same too. He noticed her trying to avoid most of the times. The one thing that worried him the most was the day when he revealed that he was ready to have a baby. She smiled at him and the very same night when he was intimate with her she insisted him on using a condom. He thought may be she was giving back to him since he denied her wish but he started noticing every single changes happening in their life.

He badly wanted to confront her but he stopped himself from doing it atleast not until Aadhi and Rishi’s house warming ceremony. He didn’t want to ruin their day with his problems.

Right now Vimal gulped the water and rolled his sleeves waiting to initiate a conversation. Manjari sat in the other corner of the couch and continued with her movie.

Vimal: Manju, I see you haven’t cooked dinner and I m not in the mood to cook so how about we go out for dinner ? We shall buy a jewel for you to wear tomorrow.

Manjari: If you are trying to remind me about the house warming tomorrow then I do and Don’t bother to buy jewel for me. Have you bought gift for your sister ?

Vimal: I know you wouldn’t forget Manju, its your brother’s house warming too. I really wanted to buy jewel for you but if you are not interested then we shall drop the plan. Please order food for us, I m hungry.

He rose to his feet and made his way to their bedroom. He stopped by the threshold and saw her smiling at something in her mobile. He shook his head and got changed into his track and T shirt before he arrived in the living but Manjari was nowhere to be seen. He walked out in search of her and saw her pacing in the garden looking nervous and looking at her mobile every now and then.

Vimal: Manjari, is everything ok ? You look upset, tell me if something is bothering you.

Manjari: Nothing, something came up from work. Nothing that you should be worried.

He watched her return and followed her back inside home. The food was delivered in a while and he served for himself and Manjari. He started with his food but saw her lost in her mobile. He lost his appetite and placed his plate in the kitchen and returned to their bedroom.

Vimal Mv: Wait until tomorrow Vimal, you can’t upset her and let her ruin Aadhi and Rishi’s day or may be I m assuming things and may be she is really stressed over her job. May be I will talk to her to quit her job and she could join my business.

He laid on the bed and covered his eyes with his arm. He woke up in the middle of the night and saw the bed beside him was empty. He immediately walked out and saw Manjari sleeping on the couch in the living, her mobile caged safely on her chest in her hands. He shook his head and returned back to his room.

Early morning Rishi and Aadhi arrived at their new home. Aadhi was dressed up in beautiful golden silk saree with cream colored border, Rishi was dressed in a white silk shirt and white silkd dhoti with golden zari border. They stepped out of the car and Aadhi smiled on seeing their beautiful home dazzling with fairy lights and flowers. Rishi placed his palm over her back and lead her inside their home. Aadhi looked at all the floral decorations and the traditional lamps that were placed in the living.

Both their parents, Vimal and Manjari arrived for the pooja and watched Rishi and Aadhi carry out the pooja seated infront of the havan. The priest blessed the couple before he left after completing the pooja.

Raghavan stood hesitating and suddenly he hugged Rishi taking everyone by surprise. Rishi froze and his hands slowly touched the back of his father and he shut his eyes feeling his father’s embrace in years. That wasn’t the only surprise Vani too hugged him and Aadhi at the same time wishing them for their new begining. Vani gestured Manjari to join the hug and Sudhir informed the photographer to capture all the moments of the family.

Raghavan touched Aadhi’s head with love and passed a box to her which had her favourite chocolates. Aadhi felt the real change in them and smiled at him. Rishi’s grandpa blessed the couple and passed a box to Aadhi. She opened it and saw tiny bracelet, chain and waist chain in it.

Grandpa: These are Rishi’s jewels. Me and Rishi’s grandma bought these jewels for him when he was born and she saved it for Rishi’s kids. I wanted to give this on a special occasion and felt today is the best day. Just because I presented you these jewels, it doesn’t mean I want you to have babies immediately. Go with your plans and live your life to the fullest.

Hari and Kavitha blessed the couple and Hari presented them the documents of a farm house, naming it to Aadhi. Vimal gifted a beautiful diamond couple bracelet to Aadhi and Rishi. Later Rishi and Aadhi were busy in greeting the guest. Together they presented the return gifts to all the guest thanking them for their wishes and gracing the day.

By noon the guest had left except for the family. Rishi had arranged a special lunch for the family and before that he informed Sudhir to get the gifts he planned for the family. Rishi and Aadhi together they gave the special dresses, sweets and jewels they bought for their family. Vani was really impressed the way Aadhi carried herself and the way she cared for everyone. She even shed tears and hugged Aadhi thanking her for bringing upon the realization in them.

Vimal tried his best to keep Manjari involved in the discussions and held her hand and waist despite her attempts to ignore his touch. By evening everyone left and Rishi and Aadhi specially thanked Sudhir for handling everything. They gifted him too with outfit, sweets and a special bracelet Rishi chose for her.

Finally it was only Rishi and Aadhi left in their new home. He pulled her holding her waist and kissed her forehead.

Rishi: How was the day ? Are you happy Aadhu ?

Aadhu: I m tired but I m loving this tiredness. We are at our home, we did the pooja, our family is happy and the guest poured their wishes upon us. We couldn’t rest for a while but this feels surreal. I m so happy Rishu baby.

Rishi chuckled at the way she called him a baby. He moved a strand of hair from her face and without a second thought he carried her in bridal style. Aadhi wrapped her arms around his neck and he entered their bed room in the first floor. He lowered her on the bed and sat next to her with his arm around her shoulder.

They watched the room which was also decorated with flowers. They laid in each other’s embrace feeling contented.

Aadhi: Rishu, your jewels that grandpa that gifted us are so cute. What do you think about it ?

Rishi: Ofcourse we shall wear them to our baby.

Aadhi: Rishu…I feel so bad that we are still virgin. So how about we celebrate our wedding night at our new home ? First night at our new home and our first time together, a perfect night for a new begining. What say Rishu baby ?
