Two weeks passed since Zara gave birth to the twins and the entire family had witnessed Ayaan becoming the most dedicated and devoted husband and father. He cared for his little family with an attention that surprised even the elders. The nannies and caretakers continued to walk on eggshells around him, intimidated by his strictness but Zara’s warmth made their work easier and more comfortable.

Ayaan was in the study with Sameer and Vaishu, reviewing the upcoming schedules for Vaishu’ s campaign in the eastern part of the country. After finalizing the travel and security plans, they turned their attention to the live telecast of Suryadev’s first campaign.

On the screen, Suryadev stood on a decorated stage, surrounded by supporters holding banners. His expression was firm, his tone intentionally composed as he addressed the crowd.

“My dear people, my party and I are being relentlessly targeted with false allegations and fabricated scams. These attacks are not just on me, they are on the progress we built together. But I assure you, the truth will soon come out. Those trying to tarnish my name will fail, because lies can never overpower truth. We will continue our journey with honesty and determination.”

His supporters erupted in applause, though Ayaan watched the screen with a cold, calculating gaze, already planning his next move.

Suryadev raised his hand to calm the roaring crowd.

“Brothers and sisters, our nation is at a turning point. In this election, you hold the power, not the liars, not the manipulators, not the enemies hiding behind false allegations. They think the people can be fooled. They think you will believe lies just because they shout louder. But the heart of this nation beats with honesty and loyalty. I call upon every supporter, every family, every youth and worker to stand with me, stand with truth. Go out and vote. Show them that this country will never fall for their games.” he said and cheers thundered through the air.

Ayaan chuckled and lowered the volume of the TV. He turned his attention to Sameer, his expression sharp and focused.

“Do you have the reports on every member of his cabinet? I want at least half of them to back off within a month and join Mom’s party. For that, I need their strengths, their weaknesses….everything. Tomorrow, I’ll talk to Grandpa to see who’s unwilling to bend. Once we know that, we’ll make our move.” Ayaan asked calmly.

Sameer nodded and tapped his tablet, pulling up a series of files. He played a video containing the detailed breakdown of every cabinet minister….. their alliances, scandals, vulnerabilities, and leverage points…..all neatly arranged the way Ayaan had requested.

“I heard Suryadev’s wife is a racist. The women in his own party have faced it but unfortunately, we don’t have any evidence. People deserve to know their true faces,” Vaishu said.

Ayaan propped his elbow on the table, studying her keenly. “Mom, evidence can be gathered. Just tell me who gave you this information and I’ll make sure her real colors come out in front of the public.”

Vaishu revealed a name and Ayaan immediately turned to Sameer.

“Sameer, make sure this woman hosts a party at her place and invites Suryadev’s wife. Our men should handle the catering services and give us a live feed from inside.” Ayaan said and Sameer nodded, already typing instructions into his phone, while Vaishu smiled proudly at her son.

They walked out of the study and Ayaan stood with his hands in his pockets, overlooking the arrangements for the twins’ naming ceremony scheduled for the next day. The home manager finished giving instructions to the staff and turned toward him.

“Sir, we have received the dresses for the babies, exactly as you requested. The new stylist will send fresh outfits every three weeks and the previously worn clothes will be sent back to her to refabricate into new ones before distributing them to the homes across the country,” he reported.

Ayaan nodded. “Good. I don’t want my son and daughter wearing the same outfit twice. It’s your responsibility to ensure that any outfit used once is removed from the nursery immediately. Or appoint a dedicated staff member to manage it.” he said and made his way to his wing. When he opened the bedroom door, a soft smile touched his lips at the sight of the twins sleeping peacefully. Zara sat beside them reading a book.

“Have I been gone too long?” Ayaan asked as he unbuttoned his shirt and sat beside her, tossing it aside.

“You were literally gone only for an hour, Ayaan,” Zara said, smiling. He leaned in and kissed her forehead before glancing at the peacefully sleeping babies.

“Let me freshen up before they wake up,” he said, getting to his feet.

Zara chuckled softly that Ayaan simply couldn’t stay away from her and the babies for more than an hour.

The next morning, the stylist arrived at the guest room to help Zara get ready for the ceremony, while Ayaan stayed in the nursery, closely watching the nannies dress the babies in the outfits he had personally selected. He had special coordinated outfits designed for himself, Zara and the twins.

Once the babies were ready, he called Reyansh and Vaishu to look after them and quickly went to get ready. He wore a light pink shirt paired with a white silk dhoti.

When he arrived at the guest room, he paused for a moment. Zara looked breathtaking in a beautiful light pink soft silk saree, her look completed with delicate jewelry. It was the first time she had dressed up since the baby shower.

Ayaan walked to her and pulled her into a gentle embrace, placing a soft kiss on her cheek.

“You got our outfits in my favorite color?” she asked with a shy smile.

Ayaan shrugged lightly. “A queen deserves only the best and everything she loves.” he replied.

Together, they walked into the living room and saw the entire family gathered for the ceremony. Hari and Leela had arrived earlier and Leela was gently cradling the baby girl in her arms, while Vaishu held the baby boy.

Zara’s eyes softened as she looked at her babies. Her son was dressed in an adorable pink shirt paired with white trousers, and her daughter looked like a little princess in a tiny pink silk frock.

Leela stepped forward and touched Zara’s head, blessing her lovingly. Vaishu then guided the couple toward the front and asked them to be seated for the pooja.

The priest began the rituals, chanting softly as the family watched in silence. Finally, he instructed Ayaan and Zara to hold their babies. Vaishu and Leela carefully handed the twins over to them.

Looking at the couple, the priest said gently, “Now whisper the names into their ears and after that, you may announce them to everyone.”

Ayaan and Zara exchanged a warm glance, ready to bless their children with the names they had chosen.

Ayaan gestured for Zara to proceed as they had planned. Zara leaned closer to the baby boy in her arms and softly whispered his name ‘Rehan‘, three times. Then Ayaan bent toward their daughter, and whisphered ‘Zavi’ three times.

The room erupted in warm applause at the announcement of the names. Ayaan lovingly caressed his daughter’s head, placing a tender kiss on her forehead before doing the same to his son.

“Wow, beautiful names ” Pari exclaimed with delight.

“We wanted our babies to carry a part of us and our parents. These names felt perfect ” Ayaan explained with pride evident in his voice.

Everyone smiled and touched by the sentiment. One by one, they stepped forward to bless the twins and present their gifts, filling the moment with love and joy.

Reyansh and Vaishu gifted properties both within the country and abroad, along with an abundance of jewels. Ishaan presented equal shares to the twins, just as he had for Ved and Saanvi in his chain of hotels. Mithun and Kajal gifted a beautiful villa, while Hari and Leela offered exquisite diamond jewelry.

“Today marks a very special day and I wanted to make it even more memorable so, from today, Rey Groups will officially launch its new venture in food and food products. Fifty percent of the profit from this venture will be used to provide food for all the homes across our country, including the ones run by our trust and NGO.” Ayaan announced, rising to his feet and cradled his daughter against his chest with a proud smile.

Everyone gasped in surprise and admiration at the announcement. Ayaan handed Zavi to his father, then gently took Rehan from Zara and passed him to Vaishu before helping Zara sit comfortably on the couch.

Ayaan then glanced at Sameer, who immediately played the official video unveiling the new venture. Zara looked at Ayaan with a soft smile, already knowing the heartfelt reason behind this initiative. Everyone congratulated the couple for the new initiative.

The home manager stepped forward to confirm that special poojas had been conducted in major temples to bless the occasion. Across Rey’s Arcade and the entire chain of Rey Group hotels, staff members had been given special gifts. At the Rey Manor, the household staff received monetary gifts, new clothes, and a grand feast arranged exclusively for them.

Zara and Vaishu returned to the room with the nannies carrying the babies, while Ayaan and the men remained in the living room for their discussion.

“Grandpa, how many agreed to your proposal? Sameer already has a complete history on every one of them to bring them to our side,” Ayaan said and Hari smiled at his confidence.

“You wanted at least half, so I tried my best. But there’s a problem, Ayaan. They’re cabinet ministers and they’re demanding cabinet positions in our party as well. We already have senior members who are eligible, so we can’t promise seats to everyone. Practically, it will put us in a difficult position. Only a few are willing to switch sides and even they are asking for money in return,” Hari explained.

Ayaan stood with his hands in his pockets, lost in thought.

“You’re right, Grandpa. We can’t offer seats to everyone, neither to our existing members nor to those planning to leave Suryadev. So let’s be clear, we offer seats only to those who deserve them. Anyone who genuinely wants to serve the people and the party will be given a place. They can earn whatever they want during their term in government, but we won’t compromise on public welfare. Anyone who can’t uphold that doesn’t deserve to be in politics. We’ll remove them completely.” He paused before continuing.

“Mom will expose the true faces of those ministers……….one in every meeting she attends. Before the campaign ends, Suryadev shouldn’t have a single candidate worthy of contesting the election. People must understand that voting for him or his alliance is equivalent to ruining their own future.” he said and shrugged lightly as the men exchanged impressed looks.

“Ruthless brat,” Hari remarked playfully and Ayaan smiled as he took a seat beside him.

“I have a plan, something big enough to take down Suryadev and Nafel Razaq at the same time. We’ll turn them against each other right before the election, then expose Suryadev to the public. Nafel will do the rest, and Dario will handle Nafel and his father. But I’ll meet Nafel personally. I need to look in the eyes of the bastard who has been playing us all these years,” Ayaan said and everyone stared at him in disbelief.

“You know that’s a massive move. One wrong step and it could backfire. Nafel controls most of the underground diamond market and has connections with the mafia,” Reyansh warned.

But Ayaan shook his head. “Not anymore, Dad. You’re outdated on this. Let me explain, Dario now holds most of the market and he has already made moves to build ties with the mafia network. Nafel and his father’s empire has collapsed. They are desperate, looking for the perfect alternative to regain power and I’ll offer them one. But the price will be Suryadev.” Ayaan said and Reyansh leaned back, a proud smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

“Alright, I need to get back to my wife and babies. We just named them and I haven’t even celebrated with them properly,” Ayaan said, rising to his feet. Ignoring the playful eye-rolls and teasing smiles from the men, he headed to his room.

Inside, he found Vaishu gently rocking Zavi while Zara fed Rehan. Ayaan immediately went to take Zavi into his arms and Vaishu pinched his cheek before walking out with a grin.

“Aww, did my little Zavi miss Daddy?” Ayaan cooed, kissing his daughter’s cheek. He sat beside Zara, who had changed into her maternity outfit, even the babies were now in fresh clothes.

“How do you feel, wifey?” he asked, dropping a kiss on her cheek.

“I’m fine, Rehan and Zavi’s daddy,” Zara teased.

Ayaan shot her a mock glare and gave her cheek a gentle bite. “I’m your husband first. And I don’t mind if you call me just ‘daddy’… you know,” he said with a wink.

Zara glared right back, but before she could retort, Zavi gave a small whimper. Ayaan instantly switched into his protective father mode and began rocking her softly.

“Calm down, princess. Daddy’s got you,” he whispered lovingly.

Zara leaned her head on his shoulder and both of them burst into soft laughter when they suddenly heard Rehan poop. Zara handed Rehan to Ayaan to change his nappy while she began feeding Zavi.

Once the babies were fed and changed, Ayaan and Zara rocked their son and daughter in their arms until they drifted into peaceful sleep.
