Recap: Families go out for shoping for marriage

It was three days since the families finished their shopping for marriage. Raghav had to finish his works before he goes on a week leave for Ajay’s marriage so he was busy concentrating on his projects. His friends Bala, Prakash and Sanjay worked in the same office with him and they assissted Raghav to finish the maximum of the project they were working now.
Malini was on the final year and her exams will be starting the next month. After that she would be free from her studies. Her friends Lekha and Aarthi helped her in studies and finishing the assignment. It was the lunch time in college the trio friends were walking towards the canteen.
Lekha: Hey Malini, did you start reading for exams?
Malini: Hey , you know right I can’t do it on my own. you guys have to help me.
Aarthi: Seriously Malini I wonder why did you join college?
Malini: Simple Aarthi, When I get married, I need some qualification to print on the invitation right so I joined it. After finishing this final exams I will get my degree and i can print my name as Malini B. Com on my wedding invitation.
Aarthi: Ayyo kadavule, ( oh god )
Malini: Don’t disturb him. He has lot of work to do.
Lekha: Then how is Raghav? why don’t you take us with you one day to meet Raghav?
Aarthi: Hey aama Malini please always he comes and pick up you and we don’t find time to chat with him. So far we are struck with a hi.
Malini laughs at them holding her stomach
Lekha: Hey shut Malu, Tell me when will you take us
Malini: Hey avan unga name sonnale therichi oduran di naa enna pannattum. (Hey runs away just hearing your names. What should I do ?)
Aarthi: Seri, ponnu yedhachum impress pannucha Raghva ah? (ok, did any girl impress Raghav )
Malini: Vaipilla Raja. Naa endha ponna katnaalum venam solran. Pakkalam yen akka marriage la kandippa oru ponna set panniduven. ( Not happening. He rejects any girl I show him. Let see, I will find a girl for him in my sister’s marriage)
Lekha: Seri un aalu Vineet enna solran? ( What is your man Vineet saying ?)
Malini: Avan nalla irukkan. Innaiku ice cream parlour kootitu poren sonnan. Seems like he is busy in his office work these days. Can’t meet properly. ( He is good. He said today he will take me to ice cream parlor.)
Aarthi: hmm. appo who is going to pay today? ( Ohh, who will pay today ?)
Malini: Ofcourse its me. Last time he paid so this time it will be me.
Lekha: We don’t understand your logic at all Malu.
Malini: Its simple I want everything to be equal in our relationship so if he pays once then next it will be me.
Aarthi: Avan eppadi idhukellam accept panran. You are weird in your conditions. Who will love without touching and kissing ? Girls will always love to get gifts and surprises but you ae totally different Malu. ( How is he accepting all these things ? )
Malini: Yes. Thats what me and Raghav decided. Love is something that we wanted to make understanding better. Love pannum podhe ellam pannita apam marriage piragu enna dhan panradhu. ( If we do everything when in love then what will we do after marriage ?)
Lekha: Vineet mattum namma senior ah illana enag kitta solli irupiya nee? ( If Vineet wasn’t our senior then would you have told us ?)
Malini: Hello What do you think of me. unga kitta naa yedhuvum marachadhu illa. ( I have never hid anything from you)
Aarthi: Seri vidu. Summa kalaichom. Dress lam puchase mudichitiya? ( ok leave that, we were kidding. Have you finished shopping ?)
Malini: Reception dress mattum vaanganum. Raghav sunday polam sonnan. ( Need to select dress for reception alone. Raghav said we shall go on sunday)
Lekha: Twinning ah endu perum. ( Will you guys be twinning ?)
Malini: Of course. Apram Raghav, Vineet invite panna sonnan. Avan friend solli vara solla sonnan.( Ofcourse. Raghav wanted me to invite Vineet saying he is his friend)
Lekha: Appo Vineet mariage ku varuvana? ( so Vineet will come for marriage ?)
Malini: hmmm. Today I will invite him.
Aarthi: Seri class polam. ( come lets go to class)
Raghav was busy working on his projects when his friends called him for the tea break after lunch. Bala, Sanjay and Prakash were vey jovial and extrovert unlike Raghav. He was very close to his friends other than Malini, Ajay and Keerthy.
Bala: Machan (dude) , come lets go for break.
Raghav: Hey konjam work mudichitu polam da ( I have some work. Lets go after finishing it )
Prakash: Dey nallavane, thala valikudhu vaa da. ( Hey honest man, come on man, my head is aching )
Raghav: Seri vaanga polam. ( ok come lets go )
All the four settled on a table and ordered for tea.
Prakash: Enna da, marriage work lam eppadi pogudhu? ( How is the preparation for marriage going on?)
Raghav: Nalla pogudhu da ( going good)
Sanjay: Andha kutty pisasu mudichitala? ( did that little devil finish her shopping ?)
Raghav: Daiiii palla odachiduven ( Hey I will break your teeth )
Sanjay: Seri Malini avargal purchase mudichitangala? ( ok, did madam Malini finish her purchase ?)
Raghav: Unna kolla poren paaru. Innum illa sunday ponum. ( I m going to kill you. Not yet we are going on sunday)
Bala: Apram innaiku enna program? ( what is your program today ?)
Raghav: Evening ava Vineet kooda ice cream sapda poren sonna. Naa poi pick up panni veetla drop pannanum. ( Evening she is going to ice cream parlor with Vineet. I will pick up her and drop at home )
Prakash: Nee eppo settle aga pora? ( when will you settle )
Raghav: Ponnu kedacha dhane da. ( Only if I get a girl )
Bala: Dey HR department la oru ponnu pudhusa vandhu irukka da. Paathiya ? Name kooda Thendral ( Hey A new girl has joined the HR department. Did you see ? Her name is Thendral )
Raghav: Illaye. ( No )
Prakash: Avan paatha dhan adhisayam acche. ( Its a wonder if notice a girl )
Sanjay: Dey Thedral da. Thirumbi paaru. ( Hey Thendral is here. Turn around and look at her )
Raghav turned and saw a homely girl dressed in a saree walking into the canteen. She had a gracious look and doe eyes.
Bala: enna Raghav poi pesalama? ( what Raghav ? Should we go talk to her ?)
Prakash: Ponnu eppadi sollu da first ( Tell us about the girl first )
Raghav: Nalla than irukka but first Ajay mariage mudiyattum. ( She looks good but first let Ajay get married )
Bala: Macha adhukkum idhukkum enna da irukku? ( what does that have to do with this ?)
Raghav: Dey innum one week la leave la poga poren. Marriage mudinja apram pakkalam. Adhillama Malini kitta sollanum ( I m going on leave for a week. We will see after marriage and also I need to inform Malini first )
Prakash: Adhu vara wait pannuvala? ( will she wait until then ?)
Raghav: Enakkana ponna irundha kandippa iruppa. Paathukalam. ( If she is meant for me then she will be . )
He felt a little attracted to her but pushed away his thoughts and left the canteen with his friends to work.
Malini left the college and waited in the ice parlour which was at a little distance from her college. Vineet came after 30 minutes by the time Malini finished 5 cups of ice cream.
Vinet: Hi baby. sorry got struck with work.
Malini: Its ok Vineet. See I had more ice creams before you came.
Vineet: Appo unakku no ice cream . Naa mattum dhan ippo sapduven. ( then no ice cream for you. Only I will eat )
Malini: Vineet, adhellam mudiyadhu rendu peum sendhu sapduvom. ( Vineet, no we both will eat )
Vineet ordered ice creams fo both and started to have slowly.
Vineet: Tell me marriage work eppadi pogudhu? ( Tell me how the marriage works are progressing ?)
Malini: Super ah pogudhu. Apram neeyum marriage vaa. ( Its going super good. You should also come to the marriage )
Vineet: Enna viladriya. Naa eppadi varuven. Yarachum ketta enna solradhu? ( Are you kidding ? How will I come and What will I say if someone question me ?)
Malini: Raghav friend nu sollu. Avan paathukuren sollitan. ( Tell them you are Raghav’s friend. He said he will take care)
Vineet: oh. Seri pakkuren. ( I will see about it )
Vineet held her hands and looked at her lovingly.
Malini: Enna sir one week apram pakkurom nu love feeling ah ? ( Is this love feeling for meeting about after a week ?)
Vineet: Yen unakku illaya? ( why you don’t feel this ?)
Malini: Irukke. ( I do)
Vineet: Seri enna dress select panna? ( what dress did you select ?)
Malini: Marriage ku saree. Reception ku lehenga sunday vaanga poren. ( Saree for the wedding and I will buy lehenga for the reception )
Vineet: Naa select pannava? ( Shall I select for you ?)
Malini: Illa venda. Raghav kootitu poren sonnan. ( No, Raghav said he will take me for that )
Vineet: hmmm. Seri. Namma veliya engayachum polama? ( ok, shall we go somewhere out ?)
Malini: Yenga ponum? ( Where do you want to go ?)
Vineet: En friends kitta unna introduce panna poren. En close friend birthday ku enkooda vaa. ( I will introduce you to my friends. Come with me to my best friend’s birthday)
Malini: Enga birthday party? ( where is the birthday party ?)
Vineet: Resort la. ( In a resort )
Malini: Resort ah?
Vineet: Unna safe ah thirumba kootitu varen. Enna nambala na Raghav ah kooda vaa ( I will get you back safely. If you don’t believe me then bring Raghav with you )
Malini: Unna nambama illa. Naa varen podhuma. ( Its not like I don’t trust you. I will come)
Vineet: Thanks varen sonnadhukku. ( thanks for accepting )
Malini: Romba pannadha. ( Don’t over react )
Vineet: Malini, you know how much I love you. I wanted to spend more time with you.
Malini: Marriage apram neraya time spend pannuvom Vineet ( will spend time after marriage Vineet)
Vineet: Adhu vara enna pandradhu ( what should we do until then ?)
Malini: Daily phone pesurom, time kediakkum podhu meet panrom ( we will talk over phone, will meet if we get time )
Vineet: Seri next week wednesday namma six month love annivesary. Movie polama? ( Next week is our six month anniversary. Shall we go for movie ?)
Malini: Try panren Vineet. Marriage woks irukku la. Otherwise marriage apram polam kandippa. ( i will try vineet. there are lot of works to be done for the wedding. Or we will go after the marriage )
Vineet: Marriage apram than en friend birthday appo one day out with me ok va? ( after the marriage is my friend’s birthday so it will be a day out with me then. Is it ok ?)
Malini: hmmm seri done. happy (
Vineet: Yen unakku happy illaya? ( Are you not happy ?)
Malini: Happy illama irukkuma. Seri time agudhu polama. ( Why will I not be happy ? Ok then its getting late shall we leave ?)
Vineet: Eppadi pova, naa venum na street corner la drop pannava? ( How will you leave? Shall I drop you by the end of the street to your home ?)
Malini: Venda Raghav varuvan. ( no, Raghav will come)
Vineet: seri ok naa bill pay pannitu kelmabure. Nee veetukku poitu call pannu. ( ok bye. I will leave after paying the bill. you call me after reaching home )
Malini: Hello sir today is my turn to pay. neenga ponga ( you leave )
Vineet: Ennavo pannu. bye ( Do whatever. bye )
After Vineet left, Raghav reached soon within minutes and met Malini who was standing outside the parlour.
Raghav: Maa romba neram wait panriya? ( Are you waiting for a long time ?)
Malini: Illa pa. Ippo than vineet ponan. ( No, just now Vineet left )
Raghav: Seri vaa. ( ok come )
Malini hopped on the bike and started to narrate the day’s happening to him who was hearing as attending some important project meet. Malini didn’t even notice the bike stopped mid way.
Raghav: Maa get down.
Malini: Adhukulla vandhutoma? ( did we reach so soon ?)
Raghav: Thiumbi paaru. ( Take a look behind you )
Thats when she noticed that they were standing in their favourite pani puri shop.
Malini: Raghav nee romba sweet da ( Raghav you are so sweet )
Raghav: Podhum podhum vaa. ( enough enough come now )
They went and started to enjoy and were feeding each other too which was noticed by a pai of eyes from a distance. Vineet was with his friend Francis watching them as he followed them from the parlour.
Francis: Yenda, enna nadakudhu? ( Hey man, what s going on ?)
Vineet: hmm paatha therila ( Can’t you see ?)
Francis: Adhu theriyudhu, six months acchu nee innum ice cream ku pay kooda panna start pannala. Anga paaru ooti vittutu iukanga. Nee eppo ice cream vaangi kuduthu, hmmm enakku ennavo idhellam nadakum nu thonala. ( its been six months and you have not yet started topay for her ice cream but look there he is feeding her. When will you buy ice cream for her first ? Whatever )
Vineet: Konja naal than da. apram paaru ( Just a few days then you will see )
Francis: Adhan paakurene ( I m already watching )
Vineet: Ava akka marriage mudiyattum apram pathukalam. ( Let her sister marriage get over then we will see about her )

Raghav and Malini finished eating and Raghav paid and started to drive.
Raghav: Malini sunday dress purchase ponum. Nyabhagam irukattum. ( Malini we need to go shopping sunday do you remember ?)
Malini: haan irukku pa. ( yeah I do )
Raghav: apram exam konjam padi di. Marriage nerathula time irukadhu. Konjam unnoda K series oram kattitu padikura velaya paaru. ( Do some preparations for exam. there won’t be time during marriage days. Leave your K dramas aside and please do read for exam)
Malini: Try panren. ( I will try )
Raghav: Maalu…..
Malini: Seri seri padikliren moraikadha ( ok I will read don’t stare at me )
Raghav: Good girl.
Raghav dropped Malini at home and went to his home to help his parents in marriage work.
