Recap: Vineet and Tara are in goa and Lakshmikandhan and Krishnan family gets ready for reception.

The night could have not been shorter as that night in these many years as Krishnan and Sujatha felt. It all looked liked just a few days they had their little angel in their arms as she was born and the years like a flick and Keerthy will be getting married in a day. All their memories from the day Keerthy was born and she turned to be a responsible sister when Malini was born was surreal for them. Their daughters were angels in their lives who never failed to lit up with happiness always.
The dawn made Krishnan and Sujatha’s heart heavy inspite of joy filled with. They were holding an album which had the memories of their daughters all these years at every stage. A tear of pride and joy left the corner of the eyes.
Keerthy was sitting at the windown sill looking out the still dark sky beyond the tiny colorful lights that decorated their house for the big day. Her eyes yearned for rays of light no not light her eyes were yearning for hope. There was no joy or glow that usually could be seen on the bride. She seemed to be lost in thoughts that she could n’t hear the soft voice which was repeated at her as “akka”.
Malini in her life has been very chirpy and naughty. She always loved to pull on Keerthy but deep in her heart she loved her sister boundless. The thought that Keerthy will not be in their house after the marriage has started to give the missing feels already. The usual late riser was awake at the dawn and was standing the door of her sister’s room calling her with most repect.
The sisters engulfed in a hug as they were in tears. They entwined their hands and walked towards downstairs only to find their parents sitting on the floor with their albums. Soon they were in the arms of their parents in a group hug with tears.
Sujatha had most of her time throwing tantrums on the girls but deep down her unconditional love for them has always been to them and they shared a special bond of being friends beyong the motherhood. Krishnan never remembered a day when he had been harsh to his angels. He always gave up on anything only for a smile from them or just a pout.
Sujatha being the mood changer felt the family drowned in emotion so she took her charge to get the day with her usual antics and Krishnan played with her.
Sujatha: Keerthy nalla poi thoongu apram photo la en moonji appadi ippadi irukku polambuva nee ( Keerthy you better get back to sleep or you will be complaining about your looks tomorrow)
Krishnan: Aama apram unna vida Malini azhaga iruka nu vera feel panni sanda poduvinga rendu perum. ( Yes, then you will fee bad that Malini looks better than you. Later you both will start a fight over it.)
Keerthy: Sonnalum sollala nalum Malini dhan azhagu. ( Even if say or not Malini is the one beautiful one here)
Malini: happa ippo vachum accept pannitiya aiya jolly. ( Wow, finally you all accepted that and I m happy for it )
Keerthy: Podi loosu summa sonna odane nambuviya. ( Go away crazy one. How could believe everything immediately?)
Malini: Adipavi unna poi akka nu feel panni pesuna paaru chei I m very disappointed ( Ohh girl, see I took your side and spoke for you but I m very disappointed )
Keerthy: Podi Japan mooki ( Go away japan nose)
Malini: Enna appadi solladha Keerthy Avlodhan ( Don’t call me that Keerthy. Then I won’t spare you )
Keerthy: Sonna enna pannuva? ( What will you do for saying that
Malini: Un reception la un makeup ah spoil panniduen ( I will spoil your makeup in the reception)
Sujatha: yei chi ponga poi innum konja neram thoongunga. 12o clock kelambanum wedding hall ku. ( hey both you get back and sleep for sometime. We need to leave to wedding hall at 12 )
Keerthy’s face fell on hearing it. Sujatha noticed it and caressed her hair.
Sujatha: Keerthy nee marriage agi enga poga pora namma Devika veetukku dhan. Call panna odane neeyum varalam illa nanga vara porom apram enna di. Feel pannadha unna kattikka Ajay dhan feel pannanum ( Keerthy afterall you will leave to Devika’s home after wedding. You can come here or we will also come over a phone call then why do you feel. Don’t feel bad for that, only Ajay should feel for marrying you )
She lightened the mood of all and pushed the daughters to stay together for some time as she knew that they would miss each other badly. Keerthy and Malini went to Keerthy’s room and Malini laid on her lap and Keerthy patted her arms.
Lakshmikanthan’s house was illuminating with bright colours of LED lights. The plantain tree at the entrance of their home and the big colourful rangoli to welcome the new member to their family was indeed giving all positive vibes to them.
The alarm buzzed and Raghav woke up with all smile to celebrate the day. He threw away the duvet and ran to his brother to see him but stopped at the door as he saw his brother leaning on the headboard and smiling widely with blush looking at his phone.
Raghav: Enna mapla ippove romba vekka padra ( what is the groom, you are shying already ?)
Ajay: Dey neeya vaada ( Hey you, come here )
Raghav: Naa vandhu romba neram acchu. Appadi enna sir panringa phone la ( Its been a long time I arrived. What are you doing with your mobile for so long ?)
Ajaya: Nothing.
Raghav: Kalyana kala vandhuduchu pola. Semma happy ah irukku unna paakka ( you got the glow of getting married. I m so happy for you)
Ajay: Yen un route clear ayiduchu na ( Why. Is it because your route is getting cleared ?)
Raghav: Ada poda ( Stop it man )
Ajay: Marriage la yachum yedhachum ponnu paaruda ( Look for a girl in the marriage atleast)
Raghav: Dey Ajay enga office pudhusa oru HR join panni irukka. Un marriage apram dhan pesa start pannanum. ( Hey Ajay, there is new girl joined as HR in our office. I think I should start talk after your marriage )
Ajay: Nee eppo pesi eppo love panni adachi poda ( Like when you will start talking, then start loving … hmmm get lost )
Raghav: Nee vena paaru indhavaati success dhan ( You keep watching this time I will succeed )
Ajay: Kilicha poi velaya paaru. ( As if you will nail it. Go look after the works )
Raghav: ayyo aama pasanga varuvanga. I will get ready unna mathiriya enakku neraya vela irukku. ( Ouch, yes boys are coming. I will ready and I m not like you. I have a lot of work )
Ajay: stage decorations la final dhane? ( Are the stage decorations finalized ?)
Raghav: Yes yes nanum Maliniyum final pannitom. ( Yes me and Malini did finalize that )
Ajay: Dey Keerthy kitta kekkalaya? ( Hey you didn’t ask from Keerthy is it ?)
Raghav: Yedhukku kekkanum adhan naanga pannitom la ( We have decided it so why should we ask her ?)
Ajay: Eppo dhan da adanguvinga rendu perum? ( When will you both stop with your acts ?)
Raghav: Adhala nanga appadi than iruppom. ( We are like that only )
Ajay: Kalyanathukku apram theriyum da ( You will know after getting married )
Raghav: Naa la condition pottu than marriage pannuven ( I will get married with conditions)
Ajay : Enna nu? ( Like what ?)
Raghav: Malini eppovum yenkooda irupa nu ( That Malini will be with me always )
Ajay face palmed at him and Raghav left to get ready to look after the wedding works.
Raghav’s friends reached his home and they all left to reach the wedding hall before others. Keerthy got dressed in a simple saree and they all got in the car to the wedding hall. Keerthy’s mobile rang on the drive and she disconnected the call and switched it off.
Malini: Keerthy pesa vendiyadhu dhane ( Keerthy, why don’t you speak ?)
Keerthhy: Illa di adhu chumma junk call adhan disconnect panniten. ( No, its a junk call so I cut it )
Malini: seri ok.
They reached the wedding hall and Keerthy went to the bride room while Malini joined Raghav and his friends who were supervising the works at the hall. For sometime she was lost in the beauty of the flowers that were adorning the stage. Prakash and Raghav who saw her shook her shoulders.
Prakash: Yenna papa yosikura? ( What are you thinking child ?)
Malini: Illa annaey thappu panniten ( No brother, I did a mistake )
Raghav: Yenna Maalu ( What Maalu ?)
Malini: Raghav indha decoration semmaya irukku naa yen idha select pannen. Pesama idha yennoda marriage ku reserve panni irukalam. Keerthy ku vera select panni irukalam thonudhu. ( Raghav, this decoration is extremely good. Why did I select this ? Better I should have reserved this for my marriage and selected something else for Keerthy )
Prakash: romba thelivu maa. ( You are too smart )
Raghav: Malini un marriae appo idha vida super ah select pannalam ( We will select something better than for your marriage)
Malini: Illa enakku idhu dhan pudichi irukku. ( No, I like this one only)
Prakash: appo pesama neeye marriage panniko idhula ( Then better you get married in this set only)
Raghav: Loosu payale ( Crazy fellow)
Malini: anney enna pesuringa ponga ponga ( What are you talking bro, go away )
Keerthy was in her room waiting for the makeup artist to arrive. Being left alone she was busy in her phone speaking to someone with tears. Finishing the call she turned and jerked to see Ajay standing infront of her. Her eyes widened in shock.
Keerthy: Ajj. Ajay eppo .. eppo vandhinga ? ( Ajay, when did you come ?)
Ajay remained silent for sometime
Ajay: Ippo dhan vandhen. ( I came just now )
Keerthy : Enna sollunga ( Tell me what it is ?)
Ajay: Chumma dhan vandhen. Naa kelamburen ( Nothing just came casually. I will leave now )
Ajay left leaving a Keerthy scared with the thoughts of Ajay listening to her conversation on the phone. Malini came to her with the artist.
Malini: Keerthy nee ready aana apram dhan naa ready aganum seekiram ready agu ok va. ( Keerthy I need to get ready only after you got ready so do it quickly)
Keerthy: hmm seri. (hmm ok)
Keerthy and Malini got ready in the special their lehengas with the jewels while Keerthy’s was even more grand dhan Malini’s. Both the families got ready in separate rooms. Malini went to see Raghav who was already waiting for her dressed in a suit looking like a prince. Both were admiring and complimeting each other.
As the guest started to arrive the parents stood at the entrance to received them. when it was time for the bride and groom to enter the stage everybody’s eyes was fixed on it. Keerthy and Ajay came to the stage dressed elegantly with a garland on their neck.
The light music filled the hall as the guest moved towards the satge to greet the couple. Their parents who were standing ar them looked at them and felt immense joy. Raghav and Malini’s friends were having fun time and also took care of the guest. Malini found Keerthy and Ajay’s face filled with worries.
Malini: Raghav , Keerhy and Ajay yen oru mathiri irukanga? ( Raghav, Why are Ajay and Keerthy behaving weird ?)
Raghav: Wedding jitters ah irukkum seri ayidum vaa ( May be wedding jitters. They will be ok )
Malini: hmm
Pushing away the thoughts they continued to go around with friends. It was close to Reception Vineet arrived there and searched for Malini. Prakash who saw Vineet rushed to him and took him to his friends and introduced them. The friends came in plan and took Vineet to greet the couples and accompanied him to have dinner. All time when he asked for Malini they excused as relatived might see them and that woud create problem. Raghav saw him gave a gently hand shake to him and left to look after the guest, also he informed Sanjay to take good care for Vineet. Prakash was told to share his room with Vineet as he would stay back for marriage in the morning.
With all funs, banters and dances the reception ended and the families had dinner and settled to rest as everyone has to wake up early for the marriage. The youngsters stayed awake chitchatting. Vineet was also a part of them but Prakash and Sanjay never gave him lead to even sit beside Malini. Later they all returned to their room to rest.
Malini and Keerthy were staying a room while Ajay stayed with his friends. Raghav and Sanjay shared a room. Prakash, Bala shared a room and they gave a separated room for Vineet who had a friend joined him late night.
Malini was feeling sleepy when Keerthy informed her that she was going to meet Ajay and would return soon.
Malini: Keerthy seekiram vandhu thoongu late pannadha. marriage apram mothama pesuvinga ( Keerthy come get to sleep soon. You can have all the talks after marriage)
Keerthy: Seri vandhuduren. (yeah, coming)
Malini waited for Keerthy and dozed of tiredness. It was around 3 a.m she was shook by her mother asking for Keerthy. Malini was startled and woke to find the bed beside her empty.
Sujatha: Keerthy enga di? ( Where is Keerthy girl ?)
Malini: Maa inga dhan ma iruppa. ( Maa, she will here around )
Sujatha: Enna di solra. enga pona? ( What are you saying ? Where did she go ?)
Malini: Maa Ajay paakka poren nu sonna maa. ( Maa, she told she was going to meet Ajay )
They rushed out and Malini was terrified seeing the whole family with few relatives who were already assembled at the centre of the hall. Blinking at the commotion she stood still not understanding on what was happening. One of her aunt’s loud voice gave shock to her and she froze on the situation.
Aunty: Keerthy kanom na Malini ku kalyanam pannunga. Vera vazhi illa.
Raghav looked at Malini who was standing without any reaction while Sujatha fell unconscious.
