Recap: Raghav is shocked at Krishnaveni’s words that Malini is also in love with Raghav

Raghav was too happy on remembering his chithi’s words that she could see love in Malini’s eyes. He was happy about that and worried on to make her realize it. He had seen the effects he had on her with subtle touches in the past two days in his aunt’s presence. He was scared to make to any move that woould make Malini uncomfortable or that might make her think of him as a jerk. Too many ideas popped in hi mind but all were very filmy and he himself felt too shy to think of executing it.
Though he had plans he was scared and felt shy to do any of it when their parents were around them. Anything that went wrong might blow up the entire house so he restrained himself rom doing anything atleast not until they go on to bangalore and have a private space where he could even have time and space to comfort her if something went wrong.
His train of thoughts were broken by the huge laughing from downstairs. Their parents had returned that morning and Malini was good enough to fill them with every second of happenings with Krishnaveni and the family enjoyed every bit of it that too when she said in the dramatic way waving her hands in air and moving according to her way of telling them.
Inspite of the laughs they had listening to Malini, deep down they knew Krishnaveni has done the right things and felt happy for her presence. They now had the confidence that the lone time would definitely make things work for both Raghav and Malini and now they were happy to send them to bangalore to look after their life.
Raghav: Enna sirichu mudichacha? ( Are you done laughing ?)
Krishnan: Vaa Raghav nalla enjoy panninga pola? ( Looks like you enjoyed a lot )
Raghav: Aama amma nalla enjoy pannom. ( yeah yeah enjoyed a lot)
Lakshmikanthan: Dey veedu pathacha? ( Have you found a home for you ?)
Raghav: Adha solla tha vandhen. Pathachu and naa advance pay panniten. Adhu actually already full furnished veedu than so purchase panra vela illa. Edhukkum neenga ellarum indha weekend poitu paathu vanga.
( I just came to inform that. I have found a home and paid advance to that. its a fully furnished home so we don’t need to but anything. Still you all can give a visit this weekend)
Devika: hmm seri appo nanga naalu perum poi pakurom. ( ok than we four will go to see that)
Raghav: seri ok.
That weekend parents went to bangalore and checked on the house rented by Raghav and made everything ready for them to move in and returned back. Raghav was busy in office to finish the handovers before leaving the current office. He was feeling bad only that he would miss his friends. He went to the cafeteria with them to spend some time.
Raghav: I will miss you guys.
They all laughed at him and Raghav looked back at them.
Raghav: enda sirikiringa? ( Why are you laughing?)
Sanjay: Nangalum transfer ketrukom. May be one or two months la bangalore varuvom. ( We have requested for transfer too. May be in a month or 2 we will arrive at bangalore)
Prakash: Avlo seekiram unna sandhoshama vida mattom. ( We won’t let you be happy so soon)
Raghav: Nejama than solringala? ( Are you serious?)
Bala: Mapla unna vittu irukka mudiyuma appadina sonna nambava pora. Bangalore la neraya beauties irupangalam anga poyachum engalukku yarachum set agurangala pakkalam.
(dude, will you believe if we say that we can’t live without you. I heard there are lot of beautiful girls so atleast after arriving there I will to get a girl for me)
Raghav: Loosu payale (crazy fellow). He hugged them in joy.
Raghav: Come soon. I will be waiting.
Prakash: Nee edhukku wat pannuva theriyum romba reel suthadha.( I know what you will wait for ?)
Raghav: Unmaiya sonna yaaru namburinga. ( Who believes truth these days ?)
Sanjay: Dey innum three days la kelambanum, packing pannitiya? ( You need to leave in three days. Did you do the packings ?)
Raghav: Illa da. I have two days time so will start tomorrow. ( No, still have 2 days to do that so will do tomorrow)
Sanjay: Malini safety mukkiyam da. Careful irunga. ( Malini’s safety is important so be careful)
Raghav: Seri da. Avalukku exam results vandha apram vera yedhchum plan pannanum. ( ok, I need to plan something for her once her results are out )
Prakash: Seri vanga polam (ok lets go)
Next day Raghav and Malini were packing Malini’s things since Raghav had to go to his home to get his things and later they moved to Raghav’s home and started packing his things.
Lakshmikantha: Raghav unnoda bike naa anupiduren. ( Raghav I will send you bike)
Raghav: Seri pa.( ok appa)
Everything was packed and they were all set to go. The family went on a dinner together to have a family time. They spent the entire day together and had lot of fun and retired to sleep. Malini was awake and Raghav noticed her lost in thoughts.
Raghav: Malini enna achu? ( Malini, what happen?)
Malini: Onnum illa. Thookam varala. (nothing. Can’t sleep)
Raghav: Ellarayum vittutu ponum kashtama irukka? ( Are you feeling bad to leave everyone ?)
Malini: hmmm
Raghav: 6 hours than bangalore. Eppo venum nalum we can come or hey too can come to us. Ippo thoongu morning kelambanum. Nee ippadi irundha avangalum feel pannuvanga. (its just 6 hours to bangalore and we can here or they can come over to meet us. Now sleep and we need to leave early morning. If you are like this then they will also fee bad )
Malini nodded her head and Raghav patter her shoulder to make her sleep. Morning they woke up and got ready quickly and came downstairs. Devika and Sujatha made their breakfast and packed lunch for them. They all had breakfast together and Krishnan , Lakshmikanthan settled the luggages in the car. Their mother packed lot of home made snacks for them.
Sujatha: Malini, nalla ponna irukkanum. Raghav ku help pannu. Vela ellam seiya kathuko. ( Malini be a good girl, Also help Raghav)
Raghav: Ma adhellam naa pathukuren. ( Maa, I will take care)
Sujatha: Nee pathukuva yaaru illa nu sonna. unna ava pathukanum la. ( I know you will take care but she should also take care of you)
Devika: Adhellam ava nalla pathukuva. Nee vidu. ( That she will take care so let it go)
Malini: Maa Maliniyay nambinor kai vida padar. Naa pathukuren vidu maa. ( Maa, who ever believes Malini will be saved. I will take care)
Raghav: Paruda…. ( hmm see her now)
Malini: Enna pathuka mattena? ( what.. I won’t take care of you is it ?)
Raghav: Naa eppo appadi sonnen. Nee than pathukura enna. ( When did I say that ?)
Malini: hmm appadi sollu. ( good, be like that)
Krishnan: Seri seri time agudhu vanga. (ok its getting late come now)
Raghav and Malini got their blessings and moved in the car and bid bye as he drove off. Malini waved her hands until they disappeared from the sight. As soon as the car drove off Malini’s face dropped and she turned silent as worry took over. Raghav saw her being silent and gave some time to relax and didn’t disturb her. When they reachd the bypass he stopped the car to the side and saw her who was still sad. He held her hands and squeezed to assure her.
Raghav: Maalu ma I m there. If not like our parents atleast I will take care of you that you won’t cry for anything. Believe me.
She turned and hugged him sobbing. He caressed her hair qith one hand and patter her back with other hand saying sweet nothings to console her.
Malini: Amma , appa illama irundhadhu illala adhan oru mathiri irukku. ( I have never been without amma and appa thatswhy it feels different)
Raghav: shhhhh life has its phase and we will explore it. We should make them proud that their children are grown and are happy living a life on their own. And we will call them and we will too come here to visit them frequently. seriya.
Malini: sure.
Raghab: Azhadhama. unakku andha place kandippa pudikkum. ( Don’t cry please. you willlove that place)
He pulled back from the hug and kissed her forehead and wiped her tears. She leaned on his shoulders and he continued driving. After sometime she slept and he was driving stealing glances at her sleeping face. He put a strand of hair that was falling on her face behind her ear.
After driving continuously Raghav felt like to relax and it was a nearly time for lunch so he woke up Malini and picked up a water bottle from the seat behind and gave it to her to wash her face which had traces of dried tears. The car was parked under a tree and he got and stretched his arms and relaxed his legs. Malini passed the water bottle to him and he too washed up his hands. They sat on the bonnet with the packed lunch and had slowly.
Few distance ahead was a highway motel and Raghav walked there and bought her favourite ice creams which could make her mood lighter. Malini gave him a gentle smile.
Raghav: Nalla than siri ma. ( Give a wide smile)
Malini: Innum evlo neram aagum reach aga? (how long will it take to reach ?)
Raghav: City innum one hour la reach ayidum but namma irukka pora place poga innum oru two and half hours aagum. ( We will reach city in an hour but to reach to our place it would take atleast two and half hours)
Malini: hmm seri. (hmm ok)
Raghav: Namma iruka poradhu apartments dhan. Sure you will like it. (We will live in a flat)
Malini nodded her head and they were licking their cones. Raghav wiped the cream that was near her mouth with the back of palm and gave her tissues from dashboard. Later they continued their drive towards their new phase of life with Raghav’s heart full of love and the will to make her realize her love for him and Malini’s heart and mind stuck between the war to accept the love for Raghav yet falling for his slowly.
