Recap: Raghav and Malini spend weekend together.

The weekend was blissful for Raghav and Malini. Both were now waiting for their 100th day of wedding to propose each other. Each day their equation was growing enormously and were on cloud nine. Raghav happily left to office after instructing Malini to be safe when she is out for shopping and to call him once she is back. He was too energetic after the weekend. He was thinking deeply to plan his proposal. He made a list of ideas and shotlisted a few. Before he could finalize the perfect one his MD called him to his cabin.
Raghav: good morning sir.
MD: Good morning Raghav. I called you to invite you for the party this friday. Very imprtant party Raghav. Special guest will be there and special anoucement personally and offically will be made that day so please make sure you attend that party and without fail take your wife.
Raghav got disappointed as friday was their 100th wedding day and he wanted propose her but now his MD has called him for an important party and wanted his presence without fail. He couldn’t show his disappointment so he gave a smile to him.
Raghav: Sure sir. I will make for it.
MD: I will mail you the invitation. We are getting new collaboration to take our company to new heights and our new partner will also be joining this party. I have recommended few of our employees to them and you are in the top list.
Raghav: Thank you sir.
Raghav Mv: Leave potu day time propose pannitu evening party ku polama ( shall I apply leave and spend day with Malini and then join the party in the evening ?)
MD: I will be busy with the guest through out the day on official meet so please make your presence in office early incase I need some information you may have to help me. You can leave early and join the party.
Raghav Mv: Vechutanya aappu…seri yosippom. ( damn he spoiled … fine let me think)
Raghav: My pleasure sir. I will do.
He came back to his cabin and plopped on his chair running his finger through his hair in frustration.
Raghav: what will I do now ?. Whatever, I must make the day special and I will surely do it.
He checked his list but none now suited for the time he has got on that day. Frustrated on his plans getting spoiled he went to have coffee and he saw Thendral there in the cafeteria.
Thendral: Hello Raghav how are you ?
Raghav: fine… what are you doing here?
Thendral: I m here for the meeting on new collaboration and for the party too.
Raghav: hmm ok.
Thendral: I will be here for some days. Can you help me I m new to this place?
Raghav: I m myself new Ms. Thendral. Please check with some one else.
Thendral: hmm. How is your wife?
Raghav: she is fine. thank you. Excuse me I m returning to my work.
He was now even more agitated and left without even getting coffee. He returned to his cabin and opened Malini’s photo in his laptop and kept staring at her, his only solace who could give him peace just looking at her face.
Raghav: Malu, love u so much. Can’t wait to come back to you.
His notification popped with a new mail from his MD. He opened and saw the invitation and the timing of the party. He called the surprise event planners to help him . He gave him his address and asked their ideas and shared his too with them. Finally he decided on decorating their terrace to make the day special with their help.
Raghav: Now I need to get a ring for her. I will do it on wednesday.
He felt relaxed finally after making the plans.
Krithi and Malini reached the famous jewelry shop as Malini wanted to buy a ring for Raghav. Both sat and Malini was looking at gold rings.
Krithika: Hey Malu, anna dhan card kudutharu la platinum vaangalam la. ( Malu, he gave you a card right then why don’t you buy platinum ?)
Malini: Ayyo anni I want to buy from my own money for him. I have savings from my childhood. I have never used those money so I will use that and buy for Raghav. Krithika: Ohhh ok..
Malini: Aama but Anni Raghav yennoda proposal accept pannuvan la ( Yes, but will Raghav accept my proposal ?)
Krithika: Maa nee enna pudhusa va anna va pakkura. 20 years ah rendu perum onna thane suthitu irukinga apram enna. Adhuvum illama nee yenna lover ka propose panna pora unnoda husband ku propose panna pora nyabagam irukkatum. Idhuve late seekiram panni thola.
( Are you seeing for the first time ? you both are together for the past 20 years then what is the problem ? Moreover you are proposing your lover but your husband. This is already late so do it )
Malini: Anni (sister in law).. she whinned
Krithika: Kandippa accept pannuvaru ma. ( he will accept for sure)
Malini: Anni idhu parunga super ah irukku. Raghav ku romba nalla irukkum. (sista look at this. Very good right ? It will look good for Raghav)
Krithika: Hey semmaya irukku da.. appo idhaye select pannidu. ( Hey its very nice so select it only)
Malini: Irunga enkitta 45,000/- irukku adhula vaanga mudiyuma theriyalaye. (wait I have 45,000 with me. Will it afford for that ?)
Krithika: first select pannu apram saleman kitta evlo price kekkalam. ( first you do the selection then we will ask for the price from salesman)
Malini: Kadavule idhu enakku romba pudichi irukku please help pannu enkitta irukka cash ku idhu kedaikkanum pa.. ( God, I like this very much please help me and I should be able to buy this from the cash I have)
A pair of eyes which was watching them all this while called the manager and whispered something in his ear and he nodded his head and moved to Malini and Krithi.
Krithika: Sir please tell us the price for this ring?
Manager: sure madam.
He took the ring and checked the weight and calculated the price and turned to Malini.
Manager: Madam this cost 45,000/- and today you are our first customer and our owner is celebrating his anniversary today so you will get 5000/ off. you can pay 40,000/- alone
Krithi and Malini looked at each other and controlled their happiness.
Malini: thank you sir. Please pack this.
Krithika: Happy ah ?
Malini: semma happy. Appo Raghav ku oru shirt vaagitu polam. ( very happy and we need to buy a shirt for Raghav)
Krithika: done.
Malini paid or the ring and they left the shop happily. The manager moved to the person who gave instructions to him.
Manager: Madam, I changed the bill to only 40,000/- as you said balance 15, 000/- has to be paid.
Lady: Thank you so much. I will pay the rest amount.
Manager: Is she someone important. You could have helped her directly?
Lady: you will not understand. Thanks for your help.
She paid the balance money and left the place and followed Malini as she roamed around the mall selecting shirt for Raghav. Her mobile rang and she happily attened the call.
Lady: I m busy Mr. Husband..admiring a person who is reflecting me when I fell in love with you.

Malini and Krithi left the mall after lunch and took cab to return home. The lady too drove back with a smile on her face.
Malini hid the ring safe from Raghav’s eyes and slept after a tiring day. Evening she called Raghav to order food for them and waited for his return. Raghav returned home and they had their dinner together.
R: Ma, friday oru important party irukku. Office la new collaboration and MD veetu la yedho vishesham pola so he has arranged a party for all together. Important guest la varuvanga and I m being introduced as lead person from our office. Neeyum ennoda varanum.

Malini looked at him blinking her eyes.
Malini Mv: Appo 100th day proposal enna panradhu. ( Then what should I do with the plans of proposing on 100th day ?)
Raghav: Night we can return as soon as possible.
Malini: hmm ok we will go
Raghav: Morning office poitu vandhu unna kootitu poren seriya? ( I will go to office in the morning and come back to take you with me )
Malini: Seri pa. MD veetla enna vishesham? (ok but what is the special event from your MD family ?)
Raghav: Adhu therila main vandhu office partnership. Some big shots lam varanga. It will be good oppurtunity for me to get know many people.( that I don’t know but the important thing is the partnership. Some big shots will be arriving. It will be a good oppurtunity for me to know many people)
Malini: you will always rock in whatever you do. You will bag something big from the partnership. Keep watching)
Raghav: Appadiya? (is it ?)
Malini: If you win something big what will you give me?
Raghav Mv: Ennaye tharen appo nee enna kettalum tharama irupena ( I m giving myself to you so why won’t I give you anything you ask for ?) )
Raghav: Enna kettalum tharen. Enna venum sollu. ( I will give anything you want )
Malini: I will ask later after the party.
Raghav: done…How was your shopping ?
Malini: I didn’t buy anything. sista did some purchase.

On wednesday Raghav went to purchase a ring for Malini. After looking so many designs he selected a gold ring as Malini always liked simple gold rings with unique designs. He was very much satisfied on his selection and was happy. He then bought a pink gown with crystal and pearl works which looked stunning. He kept the dress and ring safely in his cabin.
Malini planned to decorate their other bed room to propose Raghav and she ordered for some flowers to be delivered on friday. Both planned their special day and had many dreams waiting for the big day.
What does fate hold for them ?
