As soon as Aryan stepped out of the room carrying Sanju in his arms, they found Pavithra sitting in the living room, waiting. The moment she saw them, she burst out laughing.

“Thank you, Pavithra. We will leave,” Aryan said, giving her a nod.

“Fine, sir. Bye, Sanju,” Pavithra grinned and winked at her.

“Bye,” Sanju muttered with a grumpy face, making Pavithra laugh even louder.

Aryan carried her to the elevator. As they waited for the lift, Sanju looked up at him.

“Let me down. I will walk.”

“What is the problem in me carrying you?” Aryan asked, eyebrows raised.

“No, I can walk.”

Without waiting for a reply, she jumped off his arms and stood beside him, folding her arms.

“You’re being naughtier these days,” Aryan muttered under his breath.

Soon, they reached the parking. Once inside the car, Aryan started driving. An awkward silence hung between them for several minutes.

“So now madam won’t talk to me, is it?” he asked, finally breaking the silence.

“Why should I talk now? I believe you’ve got someone else to talk to,” Sanju replied coldly.

Aryan turned sharply. “Are you crazy? What are you even blabbering about?”

“Oh! Now I look crazy to you, is it?”

“God, Sanju… sweetheart…” he muttered with a frustrated sigh. He suddenly pulled the car off the road and parked it, unbuckling his seatbelt. Turning towards her, he said firmly, “Look at me.”

“You can talk. I’m all ears,” she said stubbornly.

“You’ll regret then.”

“Tell me what it is.”

“Chandrasekar sir wanted our relationship to move to a greater context… and I accepted—to take it to the next level.”

Sanju gasped, her eyes widening as they welled up with fresh tears.

“So you accepted it, is it? I’ll better go walk on the roads. You carry on with your new relationship,” she said, fumbling for the door handle.

Before she could do anything, Aryan reached out, pulled her to him, and kissed her harshly. She froze, stunned. Then he gently pulled back and kissed her tear-streaked eyes, wiping away her tears with his thumb.

“For God’s sake… when will you start trusting me?”

“Who said I don’t trust you?” she whispered, trembling.

“Then why do you react this way?”

“I… I don’t know.”

“Listen,” he said, cupping her face. “When Chandrasekar sir started talking about taking the relationship to the next level, I immediately cut him off and proposed a business partnership. So yes, I accepted to move forward—but only in business. I didn’t give him any space to bring up a wedding proposal. And even if he had brought it up, I would’ve told him about you.”

Sanju looked at him, her eyes searching his.

“What would you have told him?” she asked, voice soft.

“That,” Aryan said with a faint smile, “you’ll know in a short while. Now let’s go.”

Without another word, Aryan restarted the engine and pulled the car back onto the road. The silence between them was thick, neither of them spoke, but Sanju kept glancing out the window, watching the streetlights blur past in the darkness.

After a few minutes, she narrowed her eyes at the unfamiliar route.
“What is this road? Where are we going?”

“I’m kidnapping you,” Aryan said coolly, without even turning his head.

She blinked in disbelief. “What?”

“I made a huge mistake, Sanju,” he said, his voice dropping to a more serious tone. “I shouldn’t have let you walk away thinking whatever you wanted. That won’t happen again.”

Sanju’s breath hitched. “What are you planning to do?”

Aryan shot her a quick glance, a playful smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. “Anything and everything. You’ll find out soon.”

Her eyes widened as she looked around again. Recognition started dawning.
“This road… It looks like the way to our beach house…”

“Hm. Yes, exactly.”

She turned to him sharply. “Why are we going there?”

“You’ll know once we reach.”

“Aryan,” she pressed, “why don’t you just tell me already?”

He chuckled under his breath. “Why don’t you just wait?”

After a thirty-minute drive, they finally reached the beach house. Ranjith was waiting at the entrance with a few guards. As soon as Aryan pulled in, Ranjith greeted them and quietly left, leaving the guards to secure the area.

Aryan and Sanju walked into the house, and Aryan locked the door behind them.

“Now tell me. Why are we here?” Sanju asked curiously.

“I’ll tell you. Just go and wait in our room. I need to make a quick call and I’ll join you.”

“Hmph. Grumpyhead,” she muttered under her breath as she turned away.

“I can hear you, sweetheart,” Aryan called after her with a smirk.

Sanju walked up to the first floor and opened the door to their room—and froze.

Her eyes widened in shock, and her hands instinctively flew up to cover her mouth.

The room was glowing. Flowers were spread across the floor and bed, balloons floated near the ceiling, and warm candlelight bathed the room in a magical glow. She stood there, rooted to the spot, heart pounding.

As Sanju stood frozen, taking in the magical sight of the candlelit room adorned with flowers and balloons, she suddenly heard a husky, familiar voice behind her.

“Sanju…”

She turned around and her breath caught in her throat.

Aryan was down on one knee, holding a ring in his hand, looking up at her with eyes full of love and vulnerability.

Tears welled up instantly, rolling down her cheeks without restraint.

“Sanju,” Aryan began, his voice soft but steady, “my sweetheart… It’s been more than a year since I wanted to tell you this. But I kept waiting… waiting for the right time.” He paused, swallowing the emotion in his throat. “I think we’ve finally reached a moment where I can’t delay it anymore.”

Her lips trembled as he continued.

“Sanjana… I love you. I love you to eternity. I want you to be my love, my life, until my very last breath. Will you love me? Will you be mine forever?”

With no hesitation, Sanju dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms tightly around him.

“I love you so much, Aryan,” she cried. “I love you, I love you, I love you!”

Aryan grinned with joy, lifting her into his arms and twirling her around the room, laughter and tears blending together. He pressed a kiss to her cheek, and she squealed in happiness, planting a kiss on his cheek in return.

Setting her gently back on her feet, Aryan took her hand and slid the ring onto her finger. He kissed it with reverence.

But then Sanju pulled back slightly, her eyes gleaming.

“Just a minute.”

She reached for her clutch, pulled out a small box, and handed it to him.

Aryan opened it—and blinked in surprise.

Inside lay a sleek platinum ring.

“I was supposed to tell you my love today,” she said with a soft smile.

He laughed gently, his heart brimming. “Wavelength at its peak.”

Sanju slid the ring onto Aryan’s finger and leaned in to kiss him, then tucked her face against his chest, blushing furiously.

“Aryan…” she murmured.

“Hmmm? Tell me, baby,” he said, caressing her hair.

“I want to sing a song for you. Shall I?”

“I’m waiting for it,” he said, eyes twinkling.

Sanju looked into his eyes, took a deep breath, and began to sing, her voice trembling slightly at first—then flowing with the warmth of her love.

Muzhusa unakkena naan vaazhuren
Pudhusa dhinam dhinam ena paakkuren
Azhutha thozhula naan saanjupen
Alavillaama aasai vekkuren

I live entirely for you,
Each day, I see you as if it’s the first time,
I’ll melt into the warmth of your embrace,
And desire you with no limits.

Yeno thaano
Endru pona naalum
Ellaam neeye
Endru maaruthae

For reasons unknown,
The days that have passed,
Everything I once thought was different,
Now all I see is you — and only you.

Yaarum illa
Neram vandha pinnum
Unadharugil kaadhal ondru
Kanden pennae

There was no one,
Even after time passed,
But near you,
I discovered a love, my girl.

Aryan smiled, his eyes brimming with love. “I love you, sweetheart. I loved your song… and now, I want to show you something.”

“What is it?” Sanju asked curiously.

He pulled out his phone and tapped on a video. It was a clip of her, singing the same song, captured from afar. Sanju’s eyes widened in surprise as she watched.

“This was the first time I saw you,” Aryan said, his voice soft. “I didn’t know what that feeling was… but I loved it. I loved your singing. I’ve waited all these months to hear you sing for me, and it finally happened today. Thank you so much.”

One by one, he showed her the videos he had taken over time—moments he had silently treasured. As the clips played, he shared every memory, every emotion, every step that brought him to her.

“I came to your home when your father called me,” Aryan continued. “He asked me so many questions. I gave him honest answers and told him that I loved you. He was happy… but I asked him not to tell you anything. Later, he passed away… but not before making me promise that I’d take care of you. And I kept that promise.”

Sanju’s eyes welled with tears. “Why didn’t you tell me all this earlier?”

“At first, I wasn’t clear about my feelings. But even then, I couldn’t let you go. And when I was sure, the circumstances weren’t right. More than anything, I wanted you to feel the same when I confessed… not as a stranger suddenly proposing.”

He took her hands gently in his. “Now, you are my love, my life, my heart, my soul… my everything.”

Sanju smiled through her tears. “Thank you, Aryan. Nobody could love me like you do. I’m truly blessed to have you in my life. I love you.”

“I love you too, my love.”

Sanju looked at him, her eyes flickering with worry. “But what about Chandrasekar sir? What will he do?”

Aryan cupped her face. “Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it. This life… and in all our lives, we’ll be together. Now, we didn’t even celebrate our success. Shall we celebrate? For our love and for ARC.”

Sanju nodded. “Sure. How do we celebrate?”

He grinned. “Can I have your hands for a dance tonight, my love?”

“Sure, darling.”

Aryan played a soft romantic tune and held out his hand. She placed hers in his. Her right hand rested on his shoulder while his left arm circled her waist. Their other hands met and held tight as they began to sway to the music. Each twirl brought her closer, their bodies pressing gently against one another.

“Sweetheart,” he whispered, gazing at her, “you look like Aphrodite tonight. I love every bit of you—your body, your attitude, your calmness, your anger, your mind, soul, heart, and all the love you hold. I just love you… to infinity.”

His eyes locked with hers. “Love… I wish I could be lost in your eyes forever. They sparkle with love every time they meet mine. Your eyes are my way to your heart.”

He kissed her eyes gently.

“Do you know how your nose flares when you get angry at me?” he said with a soft chuckle. “I love seeing it. You look so cute when you’re mad… I can’t help but laugh at the cuteness.”

He kissed her nose and rubbed his nose playfully against hers.

“Your cheeks,” he whispered, brushing his fingers across them, “they’re always tinted with pink. And I’m proud I’m the reason for that blush. When you do, I just want to bite them.”

He leaned in and gently bit her cheeks, then kissed them long and slow.

Sanju was already breathless, her words gone. Her knees weakened, and she didn’t realize they weren’t dancing anymore. Aryan was holding her by the waist, supporting her as her feet rested over his.

“Your soft, plump lips,” Aryan murmured, his voice husky, “they’re mine… just mine. And when you take them between your teeth like you’re doing now, I feel like devouring them all day.”

He lifted his fingers to her lips, freeing them from her bite, then leaned in and pressed a soft kiss, nibbling her lower lip.

Sanju closed her eyes, surrendering to his touch. Aryan took her lips completely in a passionate, lingering kiss. His hands held her close as he explored every corner of her mouth, slow and intense. They didn’t break apart until their lungs begged for air, their hearts pounding in unison, lost in love.

Breathless and panting, they stared into each other’s eyes, the air around them heavy with unspoken emotions.

“I love you,” Aryan whispered, his voice hoarse with intensity.

“I love you too,” Sanju replied, her eyes shimmering.

“Can this day be our special day?” he asked softly.

She nodded shyly, her gaze dropping to the floor.

“I want to hear it,” he urged gently.

“Yessssss,” she breathed, barely above a whisper.

A slow smile curved on Aryan’s lips. He turned her around carefully, brushing her hair over her shoulder. He leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on her bare skin, just below her neck. His lips lingered, then nibbled gently while his fingers reached up to unfasten her hair brooch, letting her hair cascade down.

He removed her choker with care, placing a tender kiss near her ear before slipping off her danglers. His fingers traced a delicate path from her shoulder down to her wrist as he removed her bracelet, all the while never taking his eyes off her.

In one fluid motion, he turned her to face him again and captured her lips in a deep, searing kiss. Sanju barely had a moment to catch her breath when she heard the faint metallic glide of her zipper. Before she could fully process the sound, her gown was slipping off her shoulders and pooling at her feet.

Standing in just her inners, Sanju instinctively covered her face with her hands, overcome with shyness.

Aryan lifted her into his arms and carried her to the bed, laying her down gently before hovering over her. He began planting soft kisses along her jawline, slowly making his way down to her collarbone. Even as his lips explored her skin, his hands moved with purpose, undressing himself until only his boxers remained.

His fingers mapped every curve of her body, memorizing her like a sacred prayer. Sanju gasped as his hands reached her bosom, her body arching in response to his touch. The desire between them flared, burning hotter, and soon, the last of their clothes were gone.

Aryan’s hands and mouth worshipped her, every inch of her skin receiving his undivided attention. He was gentle—especially in the beginning—holding her close as her soft groans of pain melted into pleasure. Their breaths turned to moans, their moans to gasps, and the room was soon echoing with the symphony of their union.

They didn’t stop at once or twice, their hunger for each other seemed endless, until exhaustion overtook them and even their voices turned hoarse from the intensity of their lovemaking.

Lying beside her, Aryan pulled Sanju into his arms, her head resting against his chest. He placed a tender kiss on her forehead.

“I love you, sweetheart. You’re beautiful,” he whispered. “I love this afterglow.”

“Love you too,” she murmured against his skin.

“Sleep. You’re exhausted,” he said, his hand gently caressing her hair.

Wrapped in each other’s warmth, they fell asleep within moments, lost in the silence of love’s embrace.
