The morning hours at the DC Group of Companies buzzed with energy. Employees moved swiftly through the glass corridors, immersed in their daily tasks. On the top floor, outside the Chairman’s chamber, Ranjith waited patiently, a file in hand.

Moments later, Mr. Chandrasekar entered with long strides, followed closely by his personal assistant. Spotting Ranjith, he offered a brief nod and gestured for him to follow inside.

Good morning, Sir,” Ranjith greeted respectfully.

Good morning, Ranjith,” Chandrasekar replied as they stepped into his office.

Ranjith handed over the file. “Sir, I have got the papers. You can check with your lawyer and let me know if any changes are required.

Good man. I will let you know tomorrow,” Chandrasekar said, scanning through the file.

Thank you, sir. The agreement copy you asked for—regarding Sanjana’s expulsion—is also attached in the file.

That’s great. Thank you, Ranjith. Once the papers are verified, I’ll finalize a date to announce it officially.

Sir, Boss has already finalized a date. He will inform you once you clear the papers.

Hmm… good. Then I’ll let you know tomorrow.

Fine, sir. I’ll leave now.

Carry on.

Ranjith exited the office and made his way to ARC Towers, heading directly to Aryan’s cabin.

Sir, the papers have been given. He will let us know tomorrow,” Ranjith reported.

Aryan leaned back in his chair, eyes steady. “Hmm. He won’t have any changes.

I also informed him that you’ve finalized the date to announce it officially.

Hmm. Fix the date I already told you. Just six days left. This time we’ll have the party at our mansion. Get the arrangements done. A very special one. Invite the media as well.

Understood, sir.

Get the jet ready for me to fly to the UK. I need to discuss the partnership with the client. Inform them of my arrival. I’ll start tomorrow evening after we hear from Chandrasekar.

Your return, sir?

I will return on the day of the party.

Ranjith hesitated. “Sir… Are you sure?

Aryan nodded. “Yes. Plan my travel accordingly.

Okay, sir.

Meanwhile, get the list of employees whom we can bring into the new venture.

I will do, sir.

At Aryan mansion,  Sanju was on a call with her friend Pavi.

Hey, why haven’t you come to the office?” Pavi asked.

Sanju’s tone was calm but heavy. “Pavi, I’m not an employee of ARC anymore.

What nonsense?

Hmm, yes. Maya’s dad put forth a condition that I shouldn’t be an employee of ARC.

Did sir accept it?

Yes, he did. We don’t want any problems in this partnership. I don’t want Aryan to be affected just because of me, so I didn’t force him about his decision.

I don’t have any positive vibe around that Maya. Her attitude screams that she’s a bitch.

Yes, you’re right. When we were at the DC residence yesterday, she was roaming around in a swimsuit. I just couldn’t be around there. She was so frustrating.

Seems like Aryan sir would have been pissed off.

Yes, he was hardly holding back from lashing out at her.

Be careful around her.

Sure. Now you carry on with work. I’ll talk to you later.

Hmm. Bye, Sanju.

Meanwhile, in the Chairman’s office, Chandrasekar and his lawyer were deep in discussion over the partnership documents. The silence of the chamber was filled only by the rustle of papers as Chandrasekar’s lawyer flipped through the neatly clipped set of documents.

“Sir, he hasn’t mentioned your name,” the lawyer noted, adjusting his glasses. “It just states ‘CEO’.”

Chandrasekar leaned back in his chair, an amused smile playing at the corner of his lips. “Actually, I wanted it to be that way.”

The lawyer blinked, a bit puzzled. “Okay… but he hasn’t mentioned his name either. It just says ‘CEO’.”

“Let it be,” Chandrasekar waved it off coolly. “Now prepare the documents to appoint my daughter, Maya, as the CEO of our group. She’ll officially become Aryan’s partner then.”

The lawyer hesitated slightly, his brow furrowing. “Sir, what if your son objects to this idea?”

Chandrasekar’s smile didn’t falter. “He won’t. He’s going to be the Chairman after me. There won’t be any issues with Maya becoming the CEO. I can manage him.”

“Understood, sir,” the lawyer nodded. “The papers are perfect. They’ve drafted everything exactly as you instructed.”

Chandrasekar’s gaze sharpened. “Any loopholes you can see?”

“None,” the lawyer assured. “It’s precisely as you wanted.”

“Good,” Chandrasekar said firmly. “Then I’ll inform him to proceed.”

“I’ll get the appointment documents ready and send them to your residence. Maya can sign them there.”

“Fine,” Chandrasekar nodded. “Have them sent by tomorrow.”

He paused, giving a pointed look. “But make sure everything stays confidential until I make the announcement myself.”

“Of course, sir,” the lawyer responded, gathering the papers before taking his leave.

Once alone, Chandrasekar reached for his phone and dialed a familiar number. It rang only once before Maya answered, her voice chirpy.

“Dad!”

“Maya,” he said, his tone softening. “Aryan has sent the partnership documents. I’ve reviewed them with the lawyers. Everything’s clear.”

There was a pause on the other end. “What about Sanjana working as Aryan’s PA?”

“She’ll be removed,” Chandrasekar stated matter-of-factly. “By the end of this month, she won’t be part of ARC. So don’t worry.”

“Oh my God!” Maya squealed with delight. “Thank you so much, Dad!”

“The lawyer will be sending you some documents,” he continued. “Sign them when they arrive.”

“What documents are you talking about?” she asked, curious now.

“You’re going to be appointed as the CEO of our group,” he said calmly. “And that will officially make you Aryan’s partner.”

There was a beat of stunned silence before she gasped. “Dad, you’re seriously shocking me!”

Chandrasekar chuckled. “Anything for my princess.”

“Love you, Dad!” she exclaimed, her excitement bubbling over.

That evening, Sanju sat curled up on her bed, a book resting in her hands as the golden hue of the setting sun poured through the curtains. Her eyes flicked up, startled, as the door creaked open and Aryan stepped inside.

“You’re back so early?” she asked, her voice laced with surprise.

Aryan’s lips curved into a soft smile. “Wanted to see my love, so I’m back.”

Sanju gave him a playful glare. “Go freshen up. I’ll get coffee for you.”

“Hmm, okay,” he replied, already heading towards the washroom.

A few minutes later, Sanju returned with two steaming cups of coffee. She paused at the doorway for a moment—Aryan was standing near the couch, towel-drying his hair, his torso bare and glistening slightly from the shower. She blinked and quickly looked away, walking over to hand him the cup.

He took it from her with a smile and sat down, his gaze never leaving her face. “How was your day?”

Sanju let out a sigh and sat beside him. “Very boring. But I guess I’ll get used to it. I’m thinking of some ideas to keep myself occupied.”

Aryan took a slow sip, then glanced at her thoughtfully. “Hmm… how about going for a movie?”

She turned to him, surprised. “Seriously?”

“Don’t you want to?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

A smile tugged at her lips. “It’s just… this is the first time you’ve ever asked me to go for a movie. So I’m surprised.”

Aryan chuckled. “Seri, get ready fast.”

Sanju laughed softly and nodded. “Hmm, okay.”

As Sanju slipped on her sandals, she glanced at Aryan with a curious smile.
“What is the movie we will be watching?” she asked.

“Romantic movie. You’ll know after going there,” Aryan replied with a teasing grin.

Sanju gave him a playful once-over. “Aryan, you look damn hot in casuals.”

“Is it?” he smirked. “And how do I look in formals?”

“You look like a handsome hulk in formals,” she said, eyes gleaming. “I would love to take a bite of you in any outfit you wear.”

Aryan leaned slightly closer. “Is it? So how about we get back home?”

Sanju laughed, nudging his shoulder. “No way. We shall movie!”

They reached the mall shortly after, and Aryan parked his car. The guards following them discreetly stayed at a distance to respect their privacy.

Both Aryan and Sanju wore masks to avoid public attention and walked into the theatre. The manager was already waiting for them.

“Sir, please message me if you need anything. I will come immediately,” the manager said politely.

“Thank you,” Aryan nodded.

Sanju looked around the empty theatre, slightly confused. “Aryan, why is there no one in the theatre?”

“Because I booked the box completely,” Aryan said casually. “So it’s going to be only us watching the movie.”

“My god…” Sanju muttered, wide-eyed.

“Now, come on, let’s get seated.”

They settled into the cozy couple seater as the lights dimmed.

“Romance movie?” Sanju asked, raising a brow. “Actually, Pavi and I had plans to watch one.”

“You are supposed to watch a romance movie with me, not with Pavithra,” Aryan said firmly.

“Fine,” she smiled. “The movie is about to start, so don’t disturb me.”

Aryan turned to her with a mischievous glint. “How about I get seated in the back row without disturbing you?”

“What?” Sanju asked, suspicious.

“Don’t you think it’s unfair to be not disturbed during a romantic movie?” he teased.

“You could disturb once we’re back home, not now,” she said, sticking her tongue out.

“I like this,” he chuckled. “Let’s watch the movie, and I’ll disturb you to the content of my heart once we’re back home.”

“Get lost, Aryan,” she said, laughing.

Before the movie began, they were served snacks and drinks. As the film played on, the couple slowly got lost in its rhythm. By the time the movie ended, they realized they had been hugging each other the entire time.

“Wow… that was an amazing movie,” Aryan said, stretching his arms.

“Yes, and the hero was so handsome,” Sanju replied cheekily.

“You said I’m handsome when we started from home,” he pouted.

“He’s hero only on-screen. But you are my real-life hero. Now don’t be possessive, Aryan,” she teased, ruffling his hair.

“Let’s go,” he said, pulling her gently.

As they walked to the parking area, Ranjith was already waiting for them.

“Brother, why were you waiting?” Sanju asked.

“Just for safety, Sanju,” Ranjith replied. “Sir, Kowsalya maa has prepared dinner at home, so let’s get back. It’s not safe to be out at this time.”

“Hmm, okay,” Aryan agreed.

They drove home and had a quiet dinner. Later, they changed into their nightwear and settled on the bed, the warmth of the day still lingering between them.

“Sanju,” Aryan called gently.

“Hmm yeah, tell me,” she said, turning toward him.

“I’ll be flying to the UK tomorrow for a business meeting.”

Sanju sat up instantly. “And you’re saying this to me now?”

“I just wanted to meet the UK client and discuss some important deals before we start the partnership with Chandrasekar,” he explained.

“Oh… When do you have to leave?”

“Tomorrow evening.”

“Okay… and when will you return?”

“Monday. We’ll have a party at our mansion on Monday to announce it officially. I’ve informed Ranjith to take care of the arrangements.”

“Monday??” she echoed softly.

“Hmm, yes.”

Sanju’s thoughts swirled. Did he really forget what day Monday is? She kept quiet, not wanting to disturb his mind with more weight.

Aryan turned slightly, watching Sanju’s face as the silence between them lingered longer than usual. He could sense something shifting in her expression.

“What are you thinking?” he asked softly, his thumb grazing her knuckles.

Sanju hesitated, forcing a small smile. “Nothing. What would you do if people get to see me at our mansion?”

“According to the agreement, you’re my PA until this month. So you need not worry,” he assured, his tone calm but firm.

“Oh…” she nodded, then asked, almost hesitantly, “Shall I come to office till then?”

“No, sweetheart,” he said, cupping her cheek with warmth. “Stay home until I return from the UK. Don’t go anywhere. If you want to go, wait for my return, and I’ll take you.”

Sanju looked into his eyes, her voice softening into a whisper. “Hmm… Aryan.”

“Tell me, baby,” he replied gently, brushing her hair behind her ear.

“I’ll miss you.”

“I’ll miss you a lot,” he said, his voice sincere and quiet.

She looked down, biting her lip. “You were at the office today, and I couldn’t stay alone at home… and now you won’t be with me for five days.”

Aryan let out a breath, leaning his forehead against hers. “I know. But I must go for sure. I couldn’t avoid it.”

“I can understand…” she said, trying to sound brave, but a lone tear rolled down her cheek. “But call me often.”

Seeing that tear broke something inside him. He pulled her into his chest immediately, wrapping his arms around her with care and protectiveness. Gently, he wiped the tear away with his thumb.

“If you cry,” he murmured against her hair, “then I cannot travel in peace.”

“I’m not crying,” she whispered, nestling closer into his warmth. “I’ll be waiting for you.”

Aryan tilted her face up, his eyes soft with affection. “Okay,” he whispered. “Now shall we make memories for these five days?”

Sanju didn’t say anything. She only nodded slowly, her heart already aching for a separation that hadn’t even begun.

He rolled her gently beneath him and hovered above her. He pressed his lips to her neck, inhaling her scent.

“I’ll miss this scent of yours,” he murmured.

Sanju cupped his face, pulling him up to her lips. She kissed him gently. “I’ll miss your warmth and love.”

Their kiss deepened, urgent and full of longing. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer. His hands found their way beneath her dress, his touch igniting sparks as he grazed over her aroused peaks, making her gasp into his mouth.

He sat up, tossing off his shirt, then carefully lifted hers over her head. With practiced ease, he unclasped her bra. Their bare torsos pressed against each other as they kissed, passionately and unrestrained. Her nails dug into his shoulders while his hands roamed her skin, hungry to memorize every inch.

Desire pulsed between them, their bodies entwining under the comforter, shedding all barriers. Each climax left them shuddering in bliss, only to return again, craving more.

The night was short—but just enough to make memories that would last them the five days apart.
