Aadhi froze on seeing Rishi beside her on his knees holding a ring in his hand. Before she could speak Rishi hushed her to let him speak.
Rishi: Aadhu, I m not good with words and I m gonna talk about our past anymore. I want this moment as a new begining as Aadhu and Rishu. I want every moment to be very special from now on. I want to cherish everything that happens in our life and I want that to start from the first moment which I ruined in the first place. Lets start fresh Aadhu, Will you marry me ? This time lets enjoy and feel the love and excitement together. I want to look into your eyes while we get married, I want to kiss you eyes right at the special moment. Will you marry me Aadhu ?
Aadhi bit her lips to control her sobs and bobed her head. Rishi chuckled on seeing her reaction.
Rishi: Words baby, Will you marry me ?
Aadhu: Yes.. yes.. I will marry you Rishu.
Rishi held her hand gently and slid the ring in her finger and kissed her knuckles. He rose to his feet and pulled her into a hug and they kissed cherishing the moment.
When they returned to the seat Aadhi leaned on to Rishi’s chest and he wrapped his arm around her.
Aadhi: Where are you taking me now ?
Rishi: A surprise, I want to see your reaction when we land so rest for a while. We have a long day tomorrow and I don’t want you to feel exhausted.
Aadhi: Do you think everyone would be ok with us getting married once again. I don’t think they would agree and you will have a tough time convincing them. Once they are convinced, we need to finalize a date, take care of the invitation, shoppings, decorations. And Rishu, I have a doubt. What should I do with the nuptial pendant which I m wearing now ?
Rishi: I have planned already Aadhu, I will redesign that as a ring and wear it forever as a constant reminder of the transition that happened in my life.
Aadhi was surprised to hear his words and Rishi kissed her crown and played with her fingers.
Aadhi: Did you miss me Rishu ? How did you spend the 6 months ?
Rishi: That is a discussion that will not end in a night so lets have sometime later. Now rest my love.
With a smile Aadhi closed her eyes and drifted into the most peaceful ever sleep in his embrace. When the jet landed in the destination, Rishi didn’t wake up Aadhi instead he carried her in his arms to the car that was awaiting to pick up them.
Few hours later Aadhi woke up to the sound of alarm and saw she was asleep on a bed cuddling with Rishi. Rishi too woke up and kissed her forehead with a smile. Aadhi looked outside the window and saw it was still dark.
Aadhi: Rishu, where are we ?
Rishi got down from the bed and pulled Aadhi out of the bed room. Aadhi looked around the place and her senses were excited on seeing the familiarity of the place. She opened the sliding glass door and saw the swimming pool which confirmed she wasn’t hallucinating.
Aadhi: Rishi, you brought me to Goa ?
Rishi: Yes baby, didn’t you wish to visit Goa on our anniversary ? Now that is not the actual surprise. Come with me.
He held her wrist and pulled her to the closet of the bedroom where Aadhi saw lot of shopping bags placed around.
Rishi opened a box and revealed a beautiful red silk saree and another box which had a gold nuptial pendant. There were lot of jewel boxes and other accessories.
Aadhi: Rishi, why do you have all these ?
Rishi: Today is our wedding Aadhu, we shall get married at the exact time we got married for the first time. We don’t need anyone to dictate our llife anymore. We shall decide our life so are you ready to get married once again Aadhu ?
Aadhi smiled at his thoughts, plans so tiptoeing on her toes she kissed his cheeks. Rishi’s ears turned red and he rubbed his nape to hide his blush.
Rishi: I have called someone to help you get ready. Once you are done they will take you to me.
They returned to the hall and Rishi opened the main door and Aadhi heard Malini and Chaitra screaming and running to her.
Rishi winked at her and walked out leaving her with friends. Malini and Chaitra wished her for the special day. They heard sound of footsteps and saw two woman at the doot step. Aadhi was shocked to see the woman whom she saw with Rishi in the photo Chaitra shared to her. The women walked in and Aadhi was eager to know the identity of the particular woman and she introduced herself as event planner and the other woman was a stylist.
Aadhi smiled knowing Rishi had planned everything and greeted them.
Malini: Aadhi, we don’t have time so better rush to the washroom and complete your beauty bath.
Aadhi blushed and entered the washroom and saw the tub was filled with roses and everything was placed ready for her. 30 minutes later she walked wearing a robe and saw the stylist had aranged everything ready for her. Two hours later Aadhi stood before the full mirror and blushed on seeing her reflection in it. Malini and Chaitra were ready too and they walked of the resort with Aadhi who was once again surprised to see the same driver they met last year.
Aadhi: Bro, how are you ?
Driver: I m fine madam, I m very happy that you and your husband wanted me at your special day. Lets go madam, sir must be waiting for you.
He opened the door for her Aadhi got seated with Malini in the back seat and Chaitra in the passenger seat.
Aadhi: Who else are here for the wedding ?
Malini: Have patience Aadhi, you will get to know in a while.
Aadhi rolled her eyes and Aadhi watched the familiar roads but soon they were heading towards a beach and she looked Malini for answer but she shook her head refusing to reveal anything. The driver stopped the car and Malini helped Aadhi get down.
Aadhi stepped out and saw there was a red carpet and flowers on either side of the pathway leading to the dias that was set up and beautifully decorated with flowers. Rishi stood by the dias waiting for her and his breathe hitched on seeing her dressed in her favourite red silk saree, green blouse just like she wished for her wedding. She was adorned with beautiful diamond jewels which Rishi chose himself for her. Her hair was braided and beautifully adorned with jasmine flowers. She looked ethereal that he couldn’t avert his gaze from her.
Aadhi stopped before him and looking at him in a trance she cleared her throat. Rishi smiled and held her hand.
Rishi: You took away my breathe Mrs.Rishu.
He winked at her together and they stepped up the dias. Aadhi looked at the few empty seats before them and turned her attention to Rishi but before she could question him she heard a commotion and saw Vimal, Rishi’s grandpa, Sudhir, Malini and Chaitra’s family arriving together. They all waved hands to the couple and Aadhi waved her hand back to them feeling content.
Rishi: Are you happy Aadhu ? We have the people who truly want us to be happy together.
Aadhu: Thank you and I love you Rishu.
The priest started chanting the mantras Rishi held Aadhi’s hand with a smile.
Malini: Aadhi’s crushy baby, you should let go of her hands to tie the nuptial thread.
Rishi blushed and Aadhi yanked her hand from his hold as Malini and Chaitra continued to tease them. Aadhi whined and Vimal jumped in support of Aadhi shooing Malini and Chaitra. The priest passed the garland to Rishi and Aadhi and they exhanged with a smile. Right at time Aadhi heard a song play to match their situation.

Aadhi’s tears were the proof of the surreal moment. Rishi pressed his lips against her temple.
Rishi: I promise to stand by you through thick and thins Aadhu. I will love you forever. This is my promise to you.

Rishi looked at his watch and at the exact time he signalled the priest, who passed the nuptial thread to him. Rishi looked at Aadhi and their eyes were in perfect lock.
Rishi: You are the first girl, I fell in love and you will be my last Aadhu.

Rishi: Towards a new journey that will last forever. Shall I Aadhu ?
Aadhu bobed her head in affirmation and Rishi tied the nuptial thread looking into her eyes. He cupped her face and pressed his lips on her forehead.
Rishi: I promise to begin everyday with a forehead kiss.

Aadhi blushed and kissed his forehead taking him by surprise. Priest passed the vermillon and pulling her to his chest and wrapping his arm around her shoulder he filled her hair partition with the vermillion.
Rishi: Today I swear that you own me and everything that belong to me. I won’t promise that we shall not fight but I promise to surrender first at every fight and sure I will coax you.

Rishi rose to his feet and helped Aadhi to stand. Malini’s mother tied the end of Aadhi’s pallu to Rishi’s angavastra and they started taking rounds around the havan holding hands. Finally they stepped down the dias and touched grandpa’s feet who with tears blessed his grand children. Vimal hugged them both and felt truly happy for his sister and Rishi.
Vimal: I m so happy Aadhi, you deserve all the happiness. You too Rishi, stand in your ground and don’t give up on your happpiness for anyone’s sake. You both suffered enough but not anymore. Happy married life.
Malini, Chaitra and their parents followed by Sudhir wished the couple and later they all had food together teasing the new couple. Rishi fed Aadhi with his hand and every moment was captured beautifully by the photographer.
Rishi thanked the event planner before she took her leave.
Vimal: Its time for us to leave too.
Aadhi: Bro, please stay back. We just met and shall spend some time together.
Malini: Aadhi, its ok to expect us to stay back until wedding but its too much expecting our stay after this. What would we do here when you will be busy with your husband ?
Malini’s mother smacked her head and everyone glared at her while Rishi enjoyed seeing Aadhi blush.
Vimal: Aadhi, stay back for few days for your honeymoon and we shall meet when you return Chennai.
Aadhi hugged Vimal and he pat her head.
Aadhi: Take care of everyone bro. Life is too short to hold grudges. Please move on.
Everyone took their leave and Rishi guided her to the car and they returned to the cottage. As soon as Rishi shut the door he pulled Aadhi and started kissing her holding her nape. Aadhi held his locks as they kissed until their lungs screamed for a break.
Rishi kissed her eyes before he carried her in bridal style and twirled around.
Rishi: I love Aadhu, you look gorgeous.
Aadhi: You look handsome Rishu, so smart and dashing.
He let her to stand on her feet and they removed the garland from their neck first before he pulled her to the couch and laid his head on her lap and kissed her palms.
Rishi: How much did you miss me in all those six months Aadhu ?
Aadhi: I missed you a lot Rishu, There wasn’t a moment when you weren’t in my mind. Everything around me reminded you Rishu. You were the first and last thing in my mind everyday. I literally counted every day and waited badly for this day. I knew you would come for me still there was fear lingering in the corner of my heart so I had my fingers crossed and ofcourse I cried a lot in the last few days. I never called Sudhir for help but I couldn’t stop myself and called him yesterday morning to know your whereabouts. Three days back Chaitu shared a photo of yours from airport and you were holding a huge luggage. I didn’t know she was the wedding planner so I was confused about your sudden travel when we had only three days left for our anniversary so I asked Sudhir but he had no idea which scared me more.
Rishi: You thought I was moving on from you ?
Aadhi: No, but I was scared, scared so much that I never want to go through those hours in my life ever again.
Rishi held her nape and pulled her down and pecked her lips.
Rishi: You have me Aadhu, I will never leave your side. You fell first but I fell harder and I don’t have words to express how much I love you.
Aadhi: Did you miss me Rishu ?
Rishu: No Adhu….
