Recap: Asha decides to leave to her native to let Reyansh and Vaishu alone in the home.

Morning Mithun drove Asha to the railway station and Reyansh saw Vaishu in the kitchen. He returned to her room and saw Ishu babies awake on bed and sat next to them.
Reyansh: Your Asha granny is not here and I need to utilize every opportunity to make your mother feel comfortable around me. Wish me good luck muffins.
The babies smiled and Reyansh kissed their cheeks feeling as if they really wished him.
Reyansh: Come lets go and see what my angel is preparing for breakfast today.
He has become expert in carrying babies so he carried both of them to the dining and laid them on the crib that was placed for them. He entered the kitchen and saw Vaishu preparing breakfast. Taking a glass of water he leaned on the fridge thinking of a topic to start the conversation. Exactly at the same time Ishika started crying and they both rushed to her.
Reyansh: she must be hungry you take care of her.
Vaishu: but breakfast..
Reyansh: I will look after it.
Vaishu returned to her room and Reyansh saw she was half way through cooking kichadi. He continued and finished cooking it and thought of doing something else for her. He opened the fridge and looked for something and finally his eyes caught a box of strawberries.
Reyansh: Yes, strawberry smoothie ..
Whistling he took the strawberries and made a smoothie out of it. He poured it into a glass with few ice cubes and placed a slice of strawberry on the rim of the glass to decorate it.
Reyansh Mv: Thank You Ishi baby. Hope your mother will like it.
Vaishu returned and saw breakfast ready.
Vaishu: I m sorry that you had to work in the kitchen. You could have called the chef to do it.
Reyansh: Stop saying sorry and I was able to hold the ladle after so many years. Asha maa never let me in the kitchen to cook. Come on now taste the kichadi we both cooked. Every day you serve for me but today I will serve for you.
Vaishu smiled without looking at him and he pulled a chair for her to sit and he too sat next to her. He served to both of them and placed the smoothie before her.
Reyansh: You cook all my favourite foods so I thought of doing something for you and I made this strawberry smoothie for you. Taste it and tell me if you like it.
Vaishu took a sip of it he saw her eyes sparkling and knew she liked it. But he gulped when he saw a layer of smoothie above her lips. His mind urged to help her clean it with his fingers atleast but his eyes betrayed him to be lost in her pink lips matching the smoothie.
Reyansh Mv: control … control.. she is too naive for all your dirty thoughts atleast for now. Take it slow and keep your senses in control.
He huffed to clear his mind but everything went in vain when Vaishu cleaned her lips with the tip of her tongue. Reyansh’s elbow slipped from the table at the sight and he got from the seat immediately to avoid from doing anything embarrassing.
Vaishu: You are not eating ?
Reyansh: I thought Ishaan was crying so … I .. I will have now
He then sat again and concentrated on only his plate to finish breakfast. Maids took the plates away and Vaishu took the babies with her.
Reyansh: I will be in my study and call me if you need anything.
Vaishu : You are not going to office ?
Reyansh: No, I will work from home and let me know once they wake up from their nap. I will take them with me.
Vaishu nodded her head and returned to her room and Reyansh started working from his study. By around 11 Vaishu made coffee for Reyansh and knocked on the door of his study. Hearing a faint come in she entered and Reyansh stood from his seat on seeing her.
Reyansh: Are they awake ? Looks like they slept for a long time today ?
Vaishu: They just woke up and I didn’t want to disturb your work. You must be busy so I got coffee for you.
Reyansh: You left them alone and got me coffee ? You are unbelivable.
He ignored the coffee and left the study entering Vaishu’s room and smiled widely on seeing Ishaan and Ishika.
Reyansh: My muffins are awake and was left alone ? Let me punish your mother for doing this. Now shall we go for our play time and let your mother rest for sometime ?
Both babies made some sounds as a response for the first time and Reyansh raised his fist in excitement. Vaishu entered and Reyansh couldn’t control his excitement.
Reyansh: Vaishu, look they are responding to my words. Watch now.. Muffins shall we play now ? I will get all your toys to our room ?
They made a sound looking at him and Vaishu gasped looking at them.
Vaishu: It seems like they like you more than their mother. But I m not jealous and happy they are learning from you. Thank You.
Reyansh: I m so happy but still stop saying thank you. Have some rest and I will take them with me.
Vaishu started coughing and Reyansh who was about to carry Ishaan stopped looking at her.
Reyansh: What happened ? Why do you cough ?
Vaishu: Nothing.. I m good you carry on.
Reyansh nodded and took Ishaan and Ishika with him to his room. After an hour Ishaan started crying and he checked his diaper so full so he picked a diaper from his night stand and changed his diaper.
Reyansh: Lets go to your mother before you start crying out of hunger. I will wait and take you back with me. shall we ?
He started speaking a lot to them and enjoyed the little sounds they made in response to him. When he reached Vaishu’s room he saw her sleeping and called her in a low voice but she was in deep sleep.
Reyansh Mv: She never sleep like this and what happened now ?
He laid Ishaan and Ishika in the crib and moved next to Vaishu and called her again but instead of waking up she was sleep talking calling Ishaan and Ishika. He gently shook her shoulder and Vaishu tried hard to open her eyes but closed immediately making him panic.
He touched her forehead and felt it hot burning against his skin.
Reyansh: She is burning.. but all of a sudden.. god what will I do now..
He rushed to his room and called the doctor from his mobile. He explained about Vaishu’s condition and called her home at the earliest. He ran back to living and called a maid to get cool water and a cloth.
He sat on the bed next to Vaishu and dipped the cloth in water and put it on her forehead. He saw babies and remembered they were not fed for more than an hour. He again called doctor to take her advice.
Reyansh: Doctor, Vaishu hasn’t fed babies for amore than an hour and she is not awake now. What should I do now ? My babies will be hungry and start crying anytime.
Doctor: Even if Vaishnavi is awake she shouldn’t feed the babies when she has fever. So prepare a formula milk and feed them until Vaishnavi recovers completely.
Reyansh: How do I prepare the milk ?
Doctor: I will send you a note on how to do it. You need to get a feeding bottle and formula milk powder.
Reyansh: Please send me the details immediately also make it quick to reach.
After so many hours he remembered Mithun has not returned after dropping Asha at the railway station and he called him immediately.
Mithun: Rey, I m on way to office and will reach quickly.
Reyansh: Go to a pharmacy and buy a formula milk powder and two feeding bottles. Come home immediately. Its emergency.
Mithun didn’t ask any question and changed his route to home. Reyansh saw Vaishu shivering and covered her with duvet and called his servant to close the vents of the room to stop the AC from the centralized AC.
Ishika started crying out of hunger and he carried her to his chest rocking her gently saying all soothing words. Ishika stopped for a while looking at him and hearing is words but she started crying again. Her face turned red completely and Reyansh shed tears being helpless to console her. He rushed to the kitchen and washing his right hand with hot water he placed his forefinger in her mouth and Ishika stopped crying sucking on his finger.
Reyansh: I m sorry muffin… I m so sorry I m helpless right now. Mithun uncle will be here anytime. Please forgive me until then.
Mithun came running and saw the maids and servants standing like they have seen a ghost. He screamed calling Reyansh and Reyansh called him to the kitchen. Mithun’s heart felt heavy to Reyansh’s state.
Mithun: Enna da achu.. yen ippadi irukka nee ? ( What happened man ? Why are you like this ?)
Reyansh: For god sake Mithun stop questioning and do as I say now. My muffin has already turned red of crying.
Reyansh instructed Mithun to follow the message sent by doctor and watched him prepare the formula in bottles. One of the servant informed doctor’s arrival and with the feeding bottle in hand they entered Vaishu’s room with the doctor.
Reyansh: Doctor, formula is ready but how should I feed her ?
Doctor helped Reyansh to hold the baby in a right position and checked the warmth of the milk before putting the nipple in the baby’s mouth.
Reyansh: Thank you please check on Vaishu, she is shivering a lot.
Doctor moved to Vaishu and started checking her. She gave her injection and prescribed tablets.
Doctor: Nothing serious and she will be fine with injection given but may feel some tiredness. Keep babies away from her and no breast milk until she recovers.
Reyansh: How long will it take for her to recover ?
Doctor: If normal fever she will fine by tomorrow else may take a few days but don’t worry she must be fine by tomorrow. Since she won’t be feeding for a long time the milk ducts in her breast will get blocked and may cause severe pain when she is awake.
Reyansh: Can you not give her any injection to stop it ?
Doctor: Tablets and injections are not advisable. When she is awake and suffer with pain give her hot water massage and that will cure.
Reyansh Mv: How will I massage ?
Reyansh: Doctor, I will call a maid and can you explain the massage procedure to her ?
Doctor hummed and Reyansh called a maid to know the instructions to take care of Vaishu. Later he thanked the doctor and once she left, Reyansh hugged Ishika to his chest and patted her gently to burp. Later he gave her to Mithun and took Ishaan and started feeding him.
Mithun: you are becoming an expert in handling babies but don’t you think we should hire a nurse to take care of Vaishu and the babies or should we call Asha aunty back ?
Reyansh: No, I will take care of them myself and you can help me.
Reyansh patted Ishaan and then kissed the babies forehead and cheek putting them to sleep in the crib.
