Recap: Sahana confess her feelings to her friends whereas Priyanka gets frustrated on hearing it.
———————————————————————————-
Sahana, Rakshat, and Samrat got into the car and waited for Priyanka. Lost in thoughts of Vikram and the chain, Priyanka walked slowly towards them. But just as she was about to get in, she noticed Vikram leaving at the same time. Her gaze lingered on him, unable to look away.
Sana, sensing something unusual followed Priya’s line of sight and found Vikram standing by his car. Casually Vikram’s eyes met Priyanka’s and they exchanged a small smile. Sana noticed it too, and a sharp pain shot through her heart. She felt shattered by this sudden change in Priya and her behavior. Clenching her fists, she remained silent, deciding to confront her in private.
When they reached home, Sana excused herself, claiming she had a headache and left for her room without speaking to anyone.
Later that night, after everyone had retired to their rooms, Sana walked over to Priya’s room, determined to talk. But the moment she opened the door, she was met with a shocking sight, Priya was holding Vikram’s photo, kissing it, and whispering,
“Vikram, I will get you by any means… hook or crook.”
Sana’s blood boiled. Without a second thought, she stormed in, slapped Priya hard across the face, and walked out without a word.
Vikram’s POV:
I reached the Taj, and the press conference went smoothly without any commotion. But one particular question about love stayed with me. It reminded me of the feeling I had when that girl dashed into me earlier today.
After the event, I was about to leave when a call came in. As I spoke, I wandered into the backyard. That’s when I saw her, the same girl, chasing a firefly.
It was dark, and I couldn’t see her face, but curiosity got the best of me. I followed.
When she turned and saw me, she stepped back in fear but quickly composed herself. She tried to walk away, but her foot slipped, and she fell right on top of me.
I held her, my hands resting on her soft, slim, bare waist. The familiar lavender fragrance enveloped me, and for a moment, I didn’t want to let go. My heart pounded as I looked at her, completely mesmerized.
She struggled to get up, but her chain had tangled in my blazer zipper. She tried to remove it, but as someone approached us, she unhooked the chain and left it with me before disappearing into the darkness.
I called after her, but she didn’t stop.
Minutes later, I saw her returning. This time, I apologized. As we walked towards the light, I was stunned, she was the same girl I had met at the temple and the orphanage.
Three times today, I had met her eye to eye, but the feeling was different each time. The moment she dashed into me at the temple, the moment she fell on me in the backyard… and even when I moved away from her at the orphanage, I felt something overwhelming.
What was this emotion?
Until I understood it, I would keep this chain and pendant as a treasure. Or… I would return it if she ever asked.
Sana’s Mansion:
Everyone gathered for breakfast, but Rakshat quickly noticed that Sana wasn’t her usual self.
“Sana, you okay? You don’t seem well.”
“I’m fine, bro. Just a headache, nothing to worry about,” she replied, forcing a weak smile.
“Alright… but where’s Priya? Haven’t seen her all morning,” Rakshat asked, looking around.
“Yeah, even I haven’t seen her,” Samrat added.
Without a word, Sana got up and left the table. Rakshat, sensing something was off, followed her to her room.
“Enough of this ‘headache’ excuse, Sana. Tell me what’s wrong. This isn’t like you.”
At his words, Sana broke down. She sobbed into his shoulder and narrated everything, Vikram, the photo, Priya’s obsession.
Rakshat’s jaw clenched in anger. His fists tightened. “How dare she? Let me teach her a lesson!”
He was about to storm out when Sana grabbed his arm.
“No, bro! Please don’t do anything. If destiny has Vikram for me, he’ll be mine. If not… I’ll accept my fate. But I don’t want a forced love.”
Rakshat exhaled sharply, his expression softening. “Sunshine, you trusted her so much, and she stabbed you in the back.”
“Let it be,” Sana whispered, wiping her tears. “I’ll be alright soon.”
Just then, Samrat rushed in. “Bro… Sana… Priya isn’t in her room. All her things are gone. Where could she have gone?”
Rakshat explained everything to him, and Samrat sighed, feeling bad for Sana.
Meanwhile, Priyanka had moved to a hostel. She never spoke to Sana again, but she had the constant support of the unknown caller.
Since that day, no one met each other. Vikram never made public appearances and worked mostly from his mansion. Though months passed, he remained lost in his thoughts, unable to shake off the feeling he had with the mysterious girl.
Four month’s Later at Sana’s mansion:
“Dad, I’m going to a musical event in Bangalore. I’ll be back tomorrow,” Sana informed her father.
Krishnan looked up. “Alright, but who’s accompanying you?”
“Dad, I’m not a kid. I can manage.”
Rakshat frowned. “I’ll come with you.”
“No, bro! I can handle myself.”
Krishnan sighed. “Fine, but keep in touch until you return.”
Meanwhile, at Vikram’s Mansion, he had won an international project worth 2000 crores. He was about to meet the client with confidential documents.
“Dad, I’m leaving now,” Vikram said.
“Take care, son. And those papers… make sure they reach safely,” his father reminded him.
“I will,” Vikram assured before heading out.
As Vikram’s car sped through the highway, Priyanka received a call from the unknown number.
“Start now. Reach the location I send you. You’ll get the best chance to win Vikram’s trust today.”
“How?” Priyanka asked.
“I’ve arranged for a minor accident. You’ll take him to the hospital. And most importantly, take the file from his car and give it to him safely. That’s your key to him.”
Priyanka smirked and drove off.
Moments later, a truck following Vikram’s car sped up. Right when Vikram answered a call, the truck hit him hard. The driver suffered severe injuries, and Vikram lost consciousness, his head bleeding.
Coincidentally, Sana’s car passed by at that exact moment.
“Stop the car!” she shouted at her driver, running towards the accident site.
Her heart pounded when she saw Vikram unconscious. With her driver’s help, she carried Vikram and his driver into her car and rushed to the hospital.
As she settled Vikram in the backseat, she noticed his firm grip on a file. It must be important… she thought, taking it from his hands and keeping it safe.
Sana paced outside the ICU. When the doctor finally came out, she rushed to him.
“Doctor, how is he?”
“He’s fine. You brought him just in time. He’ll be discharged once he gains consciousness, but the driver will need to stay for a few days.”
Sana sighed in relief. “Can I see him?”
“He’s unconscious, but you can.”
Sana entered the room and sat beside Vikram. Tears filled her eyes as she gently ran her fingers through his hair and placed a soft kiss on his forehead. Just then, her phone rang, Rakshat.
“Sana, come home quickly! Dad fainted suddenly. He’s calling your name.”
“Oh my god! I’m on my way!”
Sana could barely stand. Her legs trembled, her vision blurred with exhaustion and pain. Somehow, she managed to place the file back into Vikram’s hand before turning away. Without looking back, she walked out of the hospital, her heart weighed down by emotions she couldn’t name.
Seeing Sana leave, Priyanka stepped forward and waited near the ICU, her eyes glinting with opportunity.
Sana rushed into her home and straight to her father’s room. Her breath hitched as she saw him lying unconscious on the bed.
“Dad… please wake up…” she sobbed, clutching his hand.
Minutes passed in unbearable tension until Krishnan finally stirred. His eyes fluttered open, and a weak smile crossed his lips.
“Sana…” he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Sana let out a shaky breath, relief washing over her. He was safe. He was fine. But even as she sat beside him, her mind kept drifting back to Vikram. Was he awake? Was he alright?
She couldn’t sit still anymore. The moment her father fell into a peaceful sleep, she grabbed her keys and rushed back to the hospital.
In the hospital Vikram slowly opened his eyes, the bright hospital lights making him squint. His head throbbed, and for a moment, he couldn’t remember how he had ended up there.
A doctor stood beside him, checking his vitals. Sensing Vikram’s confusion, he spoke calmly.
“How did I come here?” Vikram asked, his voice rough.
“A girl brought you and your driver here just in time,” the doctor explained. “If she hadn’t, your driver wouldn’t have survived, and you… you could’ve lost too much blood. It could’ve been serious.”
Vikram exhaled, trying to process the information.
“Who was she?”
The doctor only smiled. “She didn’t say much. Just made sure you were safe before leaving.”
Before Vikram could ask anything else, the doctor left the room.
Just then, the door creaked open, and Priyanka stepped inside.
Vikram’s eyes widened in surprise. Priya?
Meanwhile, outside, Sana had just reached the hospital. As she approached Vikram’s room, she heard voices from inside. Something made her stop at the doorway, her fingers tightening around the handle.
“Thanks, Priya, for saving me,” Vikram’s voice came from inside.
Sana’s heart skipped a beat. Priya…?
Inside, Priyanka shook her head with a small smile. “Please stop thanking me, Vikram.”
“But you saved my life. It’s my duty to thank you.”
“Then it’s my duty to save you,” Priya said softly. “Don’t you consider me your friend?”
Vikram smiled faintly. “Of course. It’s my pleasure to have you as my friend.”
Outside the door, Sana felt her chest tighten.
“I kept the file on the table,” Priyanka continued. “I thought it must be important.”
Vikram’s eyes widened in realization. “Oh my god. Thank you so much, Priya. You don’t know what you’ve saved. This file… it’s my dream, my business, my life’s work. You saved both. I don’t know how to repay you for everything you’ve done for me.”
Sana clutched her dress, tears welling up in her eyes.
Priyanka laughed lightly. “How about you treat me to dinner?”
“Of course,” Vikram agreed without hesitation. “I have to meet my client now to finalize the deal. But tomorrow at 7, Taj Hotel?”
“Perfect,” Priyanka said cheerfully. “Good luck with your meeting. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Sana didn’t wait to hear more. She turned on her heels and walked away before Priyanka could step out of the room.
Her vision blurred, her heart shattered. Tears spilled down her cheeks as she staggered toward the exit. She had never felt so miserable in her life.
