Recap: Vikram took Sana to a nearby resort to surprise her

**************************

Vikram gently guided Sana forward, his hands firm yet tender on her shoulders.

“Don’t remove the blindfold yet,” he whispered, his breath warm against her ear.

Sana, her heart pounding with anticipation, allowed herself to be led. There was something different about the air around her,a subtle fragrance of roses and vanilla, mingling with the soft flicker of candlelight. The moment the clock struck midnight, Vikram’s hands reached up and untied the blindfold, letting it slip away gently.

Sana hesitantly opened her eyes, only to find herself utterly spellbound. The entire room was bathed in the golden glow of flickering candles, their flames dancing like little fireflies. Strings of fairy lights adorned the walls, illuminating a beautifully arranged display that read, “Happy First Anniversary.” The scent of fresh flowers enveloped her, and she gasped as she took in the breathtaking sight, a king-size bed covered entirely in delicate rose petals, with the floor beneath layered with even more roses. Each step she took was cushioned by the softness of the petals, making her feel as though she were walking on a dream.

From behind, Vikram wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. His voice was a husky murmur against her skin.

“Happy anniversary, Pondatti,” he whispered.

Sana turned in his embrace, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears of happiness. Without a moment’s hesitation, she threw her arms around his neck, holding him tightly. She leaned in, pressing a kiss to his earlobe, her own voice dropping to a sensual whisper.

“Happy anniversary, Purusha.”

Vikram pulled back slightly, cupping her face in his hands. “Do you like it?”

Sana smiled, her eyes twinkling. “I love it.”

He smirked. “What exactly do you love?”

She pretended to think for a moment before answering, “The surprise… and the man who gave me this surprise.”

Vikram chuckled, his grip on her tightening. “Thank you, wifeyyy.”

She raised an eyebrow. “Why though?”

He let out a soft sigh. “For coming into my life. For making it brighter, more colorful, more meaningful. I never imagined that life could be this beautiful, and I owe it all to you. I’m the happiest man in the world because of you.”

Sana felt her heart swell with emotion. “Then I should thank you too.”

Vikram tilted his head. “What did I do?”

She smiled, reaching up to trace his jawline with her fingers. “What haven’t you done? You love me more than I love myself, you care for me more than anyone else ever has.”

Vikram leaned in, brushing his lips lightly against her forehead. “I love you, Sana.”

She closed her eyes at the warmth of his touch. “Love you too, Vikky.”

He pulled away with a teasing smirk. “Don’t you want your gift?”

Sana’s eyes widened with curiosity. “What is it?”

Vikram handed her a neatly wrapped gift box, his voice dropping into a husky murmur. “This is a very special gift for you, wifey.”

Excited, she quickly unwrapped it. As she pulled out the contents, confusion flickered across her face.

“A white shirt?” she asked, examining the fabric. Her fingers brushed over a faint red stain. “And what’s this? A stain?”

Vikram’s eyes softened with nostalgia. “Do you remember the first time you bumped into me at the temple? I was wearing this shirt. This red stain… it’s from the vermilion that fell from your forehead that day.”

Sana looked up at him, her breath catching.

He continued, his voice laced with emotion. “This shirt is very close to my heart, because it carries the memory of the very first touch of yours on me.”

She was speechless, simply staring at him, her heart overwhelmed with love. Without a word, she hugged the shirt to her chest, her fingers gripping the fabric tightly.

“How can you love me this much?” she finally whispered.

Vikram smirked. “Won’t you ask me why I gave this to you now?”

Sana tilted her head. “Why?”

Stepping closer, Vikram’s eyes darkened with desire. “Because I want to see you in this… only this. I have been dying to see my wife in this shirt.”

Sana’s breath hitched. Gulping, she turned away, but he was quicker. His fingers wrapped around her wrist, pulling her back into his arms.

“Won’t you wear it for me?” he murmured, his voice dripping with temptation.

She swallowed hard, her cheeks flushing. “I will… on one condition.”

Vikram chuckled. “Anything for you.”

Sana smirked playfully. “Turn around and don’t look back until I call you.”

Vikram sighed dramatically but obeyed, turning his back to her. “Fine, fine.”

Smiling to herself, Sana walked into the closet and changed into the shirt. She turned to the mirror, gasping at her own reflection. The fabric reached just past her thighs, hugging her form in a way that sent shivers down her spine. The material was slightly sheer, teasing just enough to make her blush. Her hands covered her face for a moment as she tried to gather the courage to step out.

Tonight was special—meant to be special. There was no hesitation in her heart, only a growing fire, a deep desire that mirrored his. Taking a deep breath, she walked out, her steps slow, deliberate.

Vikram stood exactly where she had left him, his back facing her. Smiling mischievously, she reached out and gently tied a blindfold over his eyes.

“Hey, what are you doing?” he asked, surprised.

She giggled. “Nothing… You surprised me, now it’s my turn.”

He stiffened. “Are you wearing the shirt?”

“Hmmm, yes.”

His voice became desperate. “Then why did you blindfold me? Please remove it, wifeyyy.”

She stepped closer, brushing her lips against his ear. “Not until I say.”

Vikram groaned. “Please, why do you want me to wait?”

She smirked. “Just a little while. Imagine how I look and tell me how you feel.”

Vikram clenched his fists, struggling for patience. “Sana…”

She bit her lip, watching the way his chest rose and fell with controlled breaths.

“Tell me, love,” she whispered seductively, “how do you feel right now?”

Vikram started to sing for her…

Thanga Thamarai Magaley Vaa Arugey
Thaththi Thaavudhu Manamey Vaa Azhagey
Vellam Manmadha Vellam Siru Virisal Kandathu Ullam
Ivaiyellaam Penney Unnaale

Golden lotus maiden, come closer
My heart leaps and bounds, come, my beauty
A flood, a flood of love, my heart has found a tiny crack
All of this, oh girl, is because of you!

” Woww, you are an amzing singer hubby ” Sana said and Vikram held her hand and hugged her from behind. he put her hairs to her front and nuzzled into her neck inhaling her fragrance.

Selitha Azhagil Sivandhu Nirkum Sentheney
En Kazhuththu Varaiyil Aasai Vandhu Nindreney
Veritha Kannaal Kangal Vizhunghum Penmaaney
Un Kanaththa Koondhalin Kaattukkulley Kaanaamal Naan Poneney

In blooming beauty…
Like a red-hued fire lily, you stand…
Desire rose up in me…
Reaching up to my very throat…

With maddened eyes…
Oh, woman who devours with her gaze…
Within the dense forest of your heavy tresses…
I wandered, lost and unseen…

Sana melted in his touches. She tried to move away from him but he held her waist tightly.

Irudhayathin Ulley Olai Ondru Kodhikka
Endha Moodi Pottu Naan Ennai Maraikka
Thodattumaa Thollai Neekka

Within the heart…
A furnace begins to boil…
With what lid shall I cover…
How shall I hide myself…
Will your touch ease this torment…

She moved from his grip with a jerk…

Thangaa Thaamarai Magaley Vaa Arugey
Thaththi Thaavudhu Manamey Vaa Azhagey

Golden lotus maiden, come closer
My heart leaps and bounds, come, my beauty

” Do you desire me so much darling ? ” Sana asked and Vikram caught her again and lifted her in bridal style. His hands on her bare thighs were burning them.

Parakkum Vandugal Poovil Koodum Kaarkaalam
Kanaikkum Thavalai Thunaiyai Cherum Kaarkaalam
Pirindha Kuyilum Paedai Thedum Kaarkaalam
Pirindhirukkum Uyiraiyellaam Pinaithuvaikkum Kaarkaalam

Fluttering bees…
Gather on flowers in monsoon’s embrace…
Croaking frogs…
Find their mates in monsoon’s grace…

A lone cuckoo…
Seeks its beloved in monsoon’s call…
This is the season…
That reunites every parted soul…

Sana kissed his cheeks and ruffled his hair. He looked damn handsome in that look. She traced her finger on his neck.

Nagam Kadikkum Penney Adakkaadhey Aasai
Naagareegam Paarthaal Nadakkaadhu Poojai
Nerukkamey Kaadhal Baashai

Nail-biting girl…
Don’t hold back your desire…
If you seek decorum…
This worship won’t transpire…
Closeness itself is love’s language…

Vikram tightened his arms around her. “Wifey, remove the blindfold at least now,” he murmured, his voice thick with anticipation.

Sana slowly lifted her hands and untied the cloth covering his eyes, her fingers trembling slightly. As soon as Vikram’s vision cleared, his breath hitched. There she was, standing in front of him, wrapped in nothing but his white shirt, looking ethereal under the soft candlelight.

His control, which he had tried to maintain until now, evaporated like mist in the morning sun. His gaze darkened, filled with raw intensity.

“You are gorgeous… exquisite… charming…” His voice dropped to a husky whisper, sending shivers racing down her spine. “You are too damn sexy, Sana.”

Her cheeks flushed deep red. Overwhelmed, she buried her face in his chest, her warm breath fanning against his skin. Vikram let out a soft chuckle, loving how shy she still was despite everything between them. He scooped her up effortlessly and carried her to the bed, laying her down with utmost care.

“Close your eyes now,” he instructed, his voice gentle yet firm.

Sana obeyed, shutting her eyes with a small smile playing on her lips. A moment later, she felt something cold sliding against the base of her neck, resting just above her collarbone. Her heart pounded as she opened her eyes and gasped softly.

It was her mother’s platinum chain, adorned with a delicate diamond pendant—one of the most precious things she had ever owned. A lone tear trickled down her cheek, overwhelmed by emotions.

Vikram leaned in and kissed the tear away. “You remember this?” he asked softly. “You left it with me that night in the backyard.”

Sana’s fingers traced the pendant as if she couldn’t believe it was real. “Yes… This was Mom’s gift. She gave it to me with a letter saying that this pendant would lead me to my soulmate,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “And it did… It led me to you. But I thought… I thought this wouldn’t be with you anymore…”

Vikram cupped her face, making her look into his deep, unwavering eyes. “I know why you thought that,” he said gently. “But I strongly believed that this pendant would take me to my soulmate too. So, I kept it… I waited, until my heart was sure of the right person.”

Sana blinked back more tears. This man—her husband—had kept her most cherished possession safe all these years.

“Now, tell me,” Vikram whispered, brushing his lips against her temple. “What gift do you have for me?”

Sana’s lips curved into a small smile. She took a deep breath before softly replying, “A special one…”

She then began to sing, the same song she had sung for Vikram countless times before. Her voice, filled with love and warmth, echoed through the candlelit room, weaving magic around them.

Vikram watched her, completely mesmerized. His heart swelled with love, knowing that no gift could ever mean more than this moment with her.

Unakkaaga thaanae naan uyir vaazhgiren
En uyir naadi neethaanada
Nee illai endraal naan ennaaguven
En swasam neethaanada

I live only for you,
You are the very pulse of my life…
If you are not there, what will I become?
You are the breath I take…

En ullam nee vandhu udaithaalum kooda
Udayaamal unnai en uyiraai kaapen
Ennaalum nee ennai veruthaalum kooda
Neengaamal nirkkum un ninaivil vaazhven

Even if you come and break my heart,
I will hold you as my life without breaking…
Even if you hate me with all your heart,
I will live, unwavering, in the memories of you…

Ketkindra isaai ellaam neethanada
Naan paarkindra dhisai ellaam neethanada
Ada naan patta kaayangal azhinthaalumae
Ada naan konda kaadhal azhiyaathada

Every melody I hear is you…
Every direction I look is you…
Even if the wounds I bear fade away,
The love I hold for you will never disappear…

Vikram gazed at her, his eyes dark with possession and desire. “You locked me with your voice…” he whispered, his breath warm against her skin. “Yes, this is a very special gift. This is my song, and I don’t want anyone else to hear it from you.”

Sana smiled softly, her fingers grazing his jaw. “It’s only for you,” she murmured.

His heart swelled at her words. Pulling her into his arms, he kissed her forehead, then her eyes, trailing soft pecks down her cheeks before finally capturing her lips. What started as a gentle kiss quickly turned into something deeper, something raw and consuming. He claimed her, and she surrendered willingly, their lips moving in perfect rhythm, exploring, tasting, losing themselves in the moment.

When they finally broke apart for air, Vikram’s forehead rested against hers. “Shall we make the night unforgettable?” he whispered, his voice laced with longing.

Sana simply nodded, her heart hammering against her ribs.

Without hesitation, he tossed his shirt aside, and her fingers instinctively roamed over his bare torso. His body burned under her touch, his desire evident in his gaze. He marked his love on her skin with his lips, while she tangled her fingers in his hair, pulling him closer. Soon, the barriers between them disappeared, and under the warmth of the duvet, he traced every curve and slope of her body, worshipping her.

Their passion was a fire that consumed them both. They competed in leaving their marks on each other—gentle bites, kisses, and whispered names filled the air. He was gentle, yet firm, letting his love speak through every movement. She held onto him, meeting him halfway, their bodies moving in perfect harmony.

The chemistry between them was electric, touching not just their bodies but their very souls. They became one heart, body, and soul, promising each other silently that this bond would remain unbroken, forever.

The petals scattered beneath them crushed with their movements, the candles flickered wildly, and their moans echoed through the dimly lit room. The night stretched endlessly, each moment becoming a memory neither would ever forget.

The first rays of the sun peeked through the curtains, casting a golden glow over the entwined lovers. Sana stirred first, her body sore yet blissfully content. She turned to find Vikram nestled against her, his arms wrapped securely around her waist. A soft smile tugged at her lips as she took in his sleeping form, his hair deliciously messy, the marks of her love on his skin, and the faint traces of her lipstick still clinging to him. He looked irresistible.

Unable to resist, she leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead. Just as she tried to slip away from his hold, a strong arm pulled her back. In an instant, she was beneath him, trapped in his warmth once again.

“Good morning, wifey,” Vikram murmured, his voice still heavy with sleep, but his eyes gleaming with mischief.

Sana giggled, pushing at his chest. “Good morning, hubby. Now let me go, we need to get ready.”

“Why so soon?” He pouted, nuzzling her neck. “Let’s stay like this for a while.”

She gasped at the sensation. “You mean this is early? Look at the time, it’s already nine! Everyone must be waiting for us.”

Vikram smirked. “No, I already informed them. They know we’ll return… whenever we want.”

Her eyes widened. “Oh my God… Vikram!”

“Now, less talking, more working,” he teased, his fingers tightening around her wrists as he pinned her down.

Sana gasped but didn’t resist. In fact, when he loosened his grip, her hands instinctively found his hair, pulling him closer, silently pleading for more.

Much later, both lay spent, tangled in each other’s arms. Vikram brushed his lips over her temple. “You’re tempting me too much,” he admitted, his voice husky. “It’s too hard to stay away from you.”

Sana sighed, utterly exhausted. “I’m tired… no more for today.”

He chuckled and kissed her forehead. “Fine. Sleep for a while… then we’ll get ready.”

With that, they drifted off to sleep, their bodies resting only to gather the strength to celebrate their love again.
