Recap: Vikram and family returned home after vacation
********************

Vikram stepped into his office building with Pugazh at his side, and as always, the entire floor seemed to hold its breath. The staff greeted their boss with a mix of respect and subtle fear. He moved like a king returning to his kingdom — powerful, focused, and today, visibly fuming with anger.

His PA, Sharath, quickly fell into step beside him.

“Good morning, Sir,” Sharath greeted, trying to mask his apprehension.

“Morning, Sharath,” Vikram replied curtly, not slowing down.

“Sir, Mr. Rakshat is already waiting in the conference room.”

Vikram gave a nod. “And the details I asked for?”

“They’re ready and in the file, Sir,” Sharath confirmed.

“Excellent. Stay out here until I call you in,” Vikram ordered.

“Yes, Sir.”

Vikram pushed open the conference room doors, his stride still firm and swift. Inside, Rakshat was already waiting. The two men shared a brief hug.

“Good to see you,” Vikram said, shaking his brother-in-law’s hand.

“You too, Vikram,” Rakshat replied, his expression serious. Pugazh walked in behind, greeting them both, and the three settled into their seats.

Vikram wasted no time. “What did Dad say?”

Rakshat leaned back, his face unreadable. “He still can’t believe it… but he knows what needs to be done.”

“We should make our move first,” Pugazh suggested.

Vikram shook his head. “Not yet. We wait for his move. We need to flush out the real mastermind — the one pulling the strings.”

Rakshat nodded in agreement. “Sana needs to know what’s going on, Vikram.”

“I will talk to her. Is Dad safe?”

“Perfectly. He’s under surveillance. No risks,” Rakshat assured him.

Just then, Vikram called out, “Sharath, come in.”

Sharath entered with a folder.

“What’s the new intel?” Vikram asked.

Sharath handed over the report. “Sir… Priyanka’s parents. Their death wasn’t an accident. It was a planned murder.”

The room went silent as the gravity of the information sank in. Vikram’s eyes scanned the report, and his expression darkened with every line he read.

Suddenly, he stood, tearing off his tie and flinging it aside. “This is beyond unforgivable,” he growled.

He paced the room, hands raking through his hair in frustration. Without warning, he grabbed the vase from the table and hurled it at the LED screen. It shattered on impact. The entire floor seemed to shake with the sound of his fury.

“Vikram! Control yourself!” Rakshat said, standing.

“Get a grip, man!” Pugazh added.

But Vikram wasn’t listening. “Sharath! Get the commissioner on the line. Now!

Sharath scrambled and made the call, passing the phone to Vikram once the line connected.

“Commissioner,” Vikram said coldly, “I’ll be mailing you some classified reports. I want the person involved arrested immediately. No delays. And I want the media to tear him apart. Plan it to perfection. No room for mistakes.”

“Yes, Sir. It will be done,” the commissioner replied.

“Good. Update me once the arrangements are complete,” Vikram said, cutting the call.

Back at Vikram Mansion…Sana was seated on the living room floor with little Sara in her lap, laughing as the baby squealed in delight. Pranitha joined her, and Amudha had gone to her room for a bit of rest. Just then, Sana’s phone buzzed.

“Sam calling.”

She smiled and answered. “Sam! I was just thinking about you. What’s up?”

“I have a surprise. Huge news. But I’m not telling you over the phone,” Sam replied, excitement clear in his voice. “Come to our place , I want you to be the first to know.”

Sana blinked. “You sound so happy! Alright, I’ll come over. Vikram’s at the office, so I’ll let him know I’m heading out.”

“No, no,” Sam insisted playfully. “It’s a surprise, and it’s for you. You get to know first, even before Vikram. I haven’t told Rakshat bro either!”

Sana chuckled. “Fine, fine! I’ll be there.”

She hung up and turned to Pranitha. “I’m heading to Dad’s house. Sam says he has some happy news and a surprise, and he sounds too excited to wait.”

“Everything okay?” Pranitha asked.

“Yes, yes. He just wanted to arrange a treat for Vikram and Rakshat. I’ll be back soon. Can you keep an eye on Sara?”

“Of course. Go enjoy the surprise.”

Sana got ready, still unsure whether she should inform Vikram. Something nudged her not to. She gave up on the thought and left with the guards trailing behind her car.

Back at the office…Vikram paused mid-task. A strange uneasiness crawled under his skin. He pulled out his phone and dialed Sana, no answer.

He frowned, tried again. Still unreachable.

Immediately, he called Pranitha.

“Hello, brother!” she chirped.

“Pranitha… I can’t reach Sana. Can you check where she is?”

There was a pause.

“She’s not at home, is she?” Vikram pressed.

Pranitha hesitated, realizing she slipped. “Um… no, she got a call from Sam… something about good news and went to your dad’s mansion…”

Vikram’s jaw clenched. “She left without telling me? Is she alone?”

“No, the guards followed her. Sam asked her not to tell anyone because it’s a surprise.”

Vikram didn’t respond. He hurled his phone to the floor, seething.

“He made his move,” he said darkly. “Sana’s at the mansion. I’m going now.”

“What??” Rakshat and Pugazh said in unison.

But Vikram was already out the door.

At Sana Mansion…Sana stepped out of the car and walked toward the entrance when someone suddenly caught her wrist. She gasped and turned.

“Vikky?! What are you doing here?”

“You’re here, so obviously I had to be,” Vikram said with a smirk. “A king always follows his queen.” He winked and pulled her close by the waist as they walked in together.

Inside, Samrat was standing stiffly in the living room, eyes wide in surprise.

Sana grinned. “Sam! You called me here and now you’re just staring like a statue?”

Vikram added slyly, “Surprised to see all of us, Sam?”

“I’m just… overwhelmed,” Samrat replied, trying to compose himself. “Didn’t expect everyone at once.”

“Where’s Dad?” Sana asked.

“On a business trip,” Rakshat replied casually. “He’ll be back in a week.”

“He didn’t tell me,” Sana said, surprised.

“Probably didn’t want to disturb you,” Pugazh chimed in.

“Anyway, Sam… What’s the good news?” Sana asked eagerly.

“I’ll tell you,” Vikram said smoothly.

“You know the surprise?”

“Of course! I planned it. But this guy tried to steal the credit,” he said, throwing a playful glare at Samrat.

Sana raised a brow. “You guys are acting strange…”

“Let’s relax first,” Vikram said, stretching. “Tell the maid to get some good coffee.”

“I’ll get it,” Samrat offered, grabbing his phone.

“Hey!” Rakshat intercepted. “Gimme that. Haven’t played games on your phone in forever.”

Samrat froze but didn’t object. Everyone sat down with coffee. Moments later, Vikram’s phone buzzed.

“Alright, time for the surprise,” he said, standing.

“Finally!” Sana exclaimed. “Tell me what’s going on.”

“Rakshat… switch on the news,” Vikram instructed, sliding onto the couch and pulling Sana into his arms protectively.

“The news? What kind of surprise is that?” she asked, confused.

“Just watch,” he whispered softly. “Stay with me.”

The television flashed to a breaking news alert.

And the screen lit up with a headline that made Sana and Samrat freeze in place…
