Recap: Vikram and Sana in Swizz
**************
It was well past morning, but the couple was still fast asleep, wrapped in each other’s arms. The silence in the room was broken only by the ringtone of Vikram’s mobile phone. He stirred from his sleep, reaching for his phone groggily and attending the call. As he ended it, his eyes fell on his wife, sleeping peacefully on his chest.
A gentle smile touched his lips. He carefully brushed back a strand of hair from her face and kissed her forehead softly.
“Sana, baby… shall we get up?” he whispered.
She mumbled, “Hmmm… no…”
“Are you not hungry?”
“I’m hungry but… I want to sleep. Too tired.”
“We’ll have some food and then you can sleep,” he offered.
“Please… no,” she mumbled again, cuddling into him.
Chuckling to himself, Vikram slowly moved away, making sure not to disturb her too much. After refreshing himself, he returned and sat next to her, gently nudging her.
“Hey baby, get up. You’re too tired. Eat something now,” he coaxed.
“No, please…” she murmured, pulling the blanket over her face.
“You won’t listen to me, huh?” Vikram teased. “If you don’t get up, then I’ll come on top of you. Will that be okay?”
Her eyes snapped open. “No no… I’m awake! Thank you. I’m already too tired,” she said quickly, sitting up.
Vikram laughed softly. “Get ready now.”
Sana freshened up and soon, both sat down for lunch. After their meal, they went back to bed and continued their sleep, utterly exhausted.
By evening, they woke up and settled in the resort’s lawn, sipping hot coffee and enjoying the mountain breeze. Just then, Sana’s expression changed.
“Vikky, I can hear Sara’s voice,” she said, looking around.
“Is it? I don’t hear anything,” he replied, puzzled.
“But I could hear her voice… I miss her,” she whispered, her eyes searching the distance.
“Don’t be confused. Let’s get back inside,” Vikram said calmly, placing a reassuring hand on her back.
They walked in, and the moment they stepped into the room, Sana stopped in her tracks, eyes wide in disbelief. Her lips parted in shock and joy.
“Sara…!” she gasped.
Their little girl came running to her, and Sana scooped her up, hugging her tightly and showering her with kisses.
“She took her and kissed her,” Vikram whispered with a smile, watching the reunion.
“Are you happy, Sana?” Pugazh asked warmly.
Sana turned to him, still holding Sara. “How did you plan this?”
“My brother planned everything,” Pranitha replied with a knowing smile.
Sana turned to Vikram, eyes narrowing affectionately. “Vikky… you never told me.”
“It’s a surprise, baby. Pugazh and Pranitha will attend the meet tomorrow,” Vikram said, grinning.
“You plan too much,” she said, laughing through her tears.
Vikram simply smiled, watching his family reunited.
The next day, Pugazh and Pranitha attended the business meet, representing Vikram and Sana’s group with professionalism and poise.
Meanwhile, Vikram and Sana took Sara to Basel Zoo—Switzerland’s oldest and largest zoo, attracting 1.8 million visitors annually. The zoo was a treasure trove of animals from across the world, allowing children to get up close with some of the most beautiful and endangered creatures on Earth.
Sana was overjoyed watching the animals with Sara, her face lighting up at every enclosure.
That night, they returned to the resort for dinner.
“Sara, what did you watch today?” Pugazh asked with a smile.
“Uncle, I saw animal,” she said proudly.
“Sara, shall we have dinner?” Vikram asked.
“Appa, no,” she replied, shaking her head cutely.
“Sara, let’s have dinner and get back to sleep. You are tired already,” Sana coaxed gently.
“Appa, no please,” Sara pleaded.
Vikram smiled and said, “Aren’t you Appa’s sweet girl? Now let’s have dinner.”
“I’ll eat little,” she said with a small pout.
“Good girl,” he said, patting her head.
Turning to Pugazh, Sana asked, “Bro, how was your meeting today?”
“That was fantastic,” he replied. “I’ll mail you the details later.”
“We’ll go out tomorrow,” Vikram added, “and the next day, me and Sana—with Sara—will leave for India. You and Pranitha can stay for a week. You both look stressed from all the business.”
Pranitha smiled. “No, we shall leave together.”
Sana chuckled. “Sister-in-law, spend some time with my brother.”
“Wow! I’ll have lots of fun sightseeing here,” Pugazh said with mock enthusiasm.
Everyone laughed.
The next day, they explored more of Switzerland together, enjoying the scenic beauty, playing games, and making memories as a family. After another joyful and exhausting day, they rested well.
The following morning, Vikram, Sana, and Sara packed up and left for India, while Pugazh and Pranitha stayed behind to enjoy a short vacation of their own.
Vikram and Sana returned home, where Amudha warmly welcomed them at the door.
“Amma, please put Sara to sleep. I’m exhausted and really need some rest,” Sana said, placing her handbag on the console.
“Go to your room, dear. I’ll take care of Sara,” Amudha replied with a smile, gently lifting the sleeping baby from Sana’s arms.
After a refreshing week of vacation, Pugazh and Pranitha were back home. Life quickly resumed its usual pace, with everyone diving back into their business routines.
At AV Mansion:
Akash’s father sat in his study, speaking with his lawyer who had come to visit.
“Did you check for any other possibilities to get Akash out?” he asked, his tone low and intense.
“Sir, legally we cannot get him out. But… I do have some other plans,” the lawyer said cautiously.
“What?” Akash’s father leaned forward, eyes narrowed.
“The SP of the prison where Akash sir is held… he’s a friend of my friend. If we bribe him, we might be able to get Akash sir out—by replacing him with someone else.”
“Can we trust this man?”
“Yes sir, we can. But he will demand a huge amount.”
“Don’t worry about the money. Speak to him and find out what his terms are.”
“Okay sir. I’ll speak to him and update you soon.”
“But everything should remain confidential. I’m visiting Akash tomorrow. I’ll inform him personally.”
“Yes sir.”
The lawyer left quietly. The next day, Akash’s father visited him at the prison.
“What have you planned to get me out?” Akash asked, eyes filled with fury and restlessness.
“Nothing legal. But there are arrangements in motion to replace you in the prison and take you out—illegally,” his father said, watching his son carefully.
“Do it quick. I need to get out of this place as soon as possible. I have to kill that Vikram.”
“Don’t worry. I’ve already made plans for that.”
“Whatever plan you have, hold off until I’m out. I’ll give him a blow he never imagined even in his wildest dreams.”
“Stay calm. I’ll leave now. We’ll get you out soon.”
“Okay, Dad.”
Meanwhile, back at Vikram’s office, Pranitha was in the middle of a meeting when she suddenly collapsed. Sharath rushed to her side and immediately informed Vikram.
Without wasting a second, Vikram carried her to his car and drove straight to the hospital. He informed Pugazh and Sana on the way, and soon, they all gathered anxiously in the waiting area.
Sana was eventually taken into the ICU for a check-up.
“Vikram, what happened to her? She was perfectly fine in the morning!” Pugazh asked, panic rising in his voice.
“I’m not sure,” Vikram replied. “I was in a meeting. Sharath told me she lost consciousness.”
“Bro, she’ll be fine. Please relax,” Sana tried to calm her brother.
“I’m scared,” Pugazh whispered, pacing back and forth.
“Nothing will happen to her,” Sana reassured him, holding his hand.
Moments later, the doctor walked out toward them.
“Doctor, how is she now?” Pugazh asked urgently.
“Nothing to worry. In fact, I have good news. Congratulations—she’s pregnant. Her health is a bit weak, but she’ll regain consciousness soon. You can meet her later,” the doctor said with a smile.
“Thank you, doctor,” Vikram replied, visibly relieved.
“How many weeks is she pregnant?” Sana asked quickly.
“She’s eight weeks along. I’ve prescribed the required supplements. You can schedule a follow-up with our gynecologist next month,” the doctor added.
“Okay, doctor. Thank you,” Sana said.
After some time, they were allowed to visit Pranitha. She slowly opened her eyes and looked around at everyone standing beside her bed.
“What happened? Why are you guys standing around me? Why am I in the hospital?” she asked, confused.
“Pranitha, don’t panic,” Pugazh said softly.
“Hey! I’m lying in a hospital bed and you’re telling me not to panic without even explaining why?” she exclaimed.
Pugazh walked closer, took her hand gently, and placed it over her abdomen.
“We’re parents now.”
Tears welled up in Pranitha’s eyes as the truth sank in. She looked at him, then at Vikram and Sana, who hugged her tightly.
“Congratulations!” Sana said with joy. “I’m so happy for you both.”
Sana immediately called Amudha to share the news.
“Amma, Pranitha is pregnant!”
Amudha gasped on the other end of the line. “Oh my God! This is such wonderful news!” she exclaimed, overwhelmed with joy.
Her voice trembled with excitement. The news of a new member on the way had brought immense happiness to the entire family.
