Ishaan woke up the next morning to find Pari’s face pressed against his chest, both their arms wrapped tightly around each other, their bare legs tangled beneath the cover. His lips curved into a smile as he kissed her crown and pulled her closer. He waited patiently for her to stir and felt soft kisses land on his chest. With a smirk, he flipped her onto her back and hovered over her, burying his face against her.

“For years, I’ve dreamed of us waking up together, but none of those dreams ever came close to reality. I think we should move to an island —just the two of us. I want you all to myself.”

Pari chuckled, a moan escaping her lips when his hands roamed over her.

Ishaan groaned against her lips, deepening the kiss as she wrapped her legs around his waist. He pushed his hard length inside her, grunting when her nails dug into his back. After their passionate morning romance, he carried her to the washroom, and together they got ready for the day.

They walked into the living room and found the family engaged in their usual banter. The moment Ayaan and Zara spotted them, they whistled and hooted, only to earn a sharp knock on their heads from Vaishu.

Ishaan and Pari laughed and made their way to the dining table, where they joined the family for breakfast. Afterward, they sat in the living room. Pari settled between Ishika and Zara, while Ishaan sat beside Reyansh.

“Ishu, we’ll be heading back home tomorrow,” Reyansh said, his tone serious. “Varun has been blasting Mithun’s phone since Pari’s mobile has been switched off for the last four days. What’s your plan? Do you want to join us, or are you taking off for your honeymoon?”

Everyone’s eyes shifted toward them. Ishaan glanced at Pari, then turned to his father.

“We haven’t decided yet, Appa. We’ll let you know soon,” Ishaan replied calmly. Pari’s heart warmed at how he included her in every decision, valuing her opinion above everything else.

Later, they returned to their room and sat on the balcony couch. Ishaan rested his arm along the backrest, his fingers drawing lazy circles on her collarbone.

“So, what do you want us to do?” he asked in a husky tone. “Honeymoon or home? Romance or revenge?”

Pari turned to him, her lips brushing his cheek as she kissed him softly.

“Honeymoon at home and our romance as the first revenge. Doesn’t that sound tempting?” Pari asked, and Ishaan kissed her, holding her nape.

The next day, they all returned to India and reached Rey’s Manor. Ishaan and Pari were fast asleep in their room when a knock disturbed their peaceful rest. Ishaan got up, opened the door, and frowned on seeing Ayaan leaning casually against the wall.

“Bro, you and sister-in-law are needed in the living room. We have a guest, and I’m hoping for a blockbuster show. I’ve even asked the chef to serve some cheesy popcorn,” Ayaan said with a smirk.

Ishaan immediately guessed who the guest was. He hummed and walked back to Pari, who was still asleep. Leaning down, he kissed her cheek before lying next to her.

“Pari, wake up. We have a guest. We’ll get back to sleep once we see them off,” Ishaan whispered.

Pari opened her eyes, and together they quickly descended the stairs. The entire family was gathered in the living room. Pari yawned when she spotted Varun and his family seated there. She casually tied her hair into a high bun and sat close to Ishaan. Varun noticed the closeness, too close for his liking. He masked his frustration and sauntered towards her.

“Pari, where have you been? I’ve been trying to reach you for a week now. You could have at least messaged me if you were busy. I missed you, Pari,” Varun said, expecting her to react or at least Ishaan to give them some space for conversation. But nothing happened. Instead, a maid served coffee, and Ishaan picked up a cup and handed it to Pari.

“Pari, I’m talking to you. Can we talk in private?” Varun asked, clearly uncomfortable in front of the large family.

“I’m not in public, Varun. This is my family, and we don’t hide anything from family. So if there’s anything to discuss, we can do it here, in front of them and your parents. Now go ahead, what is it you wanted to talk about?” Pari asked, sipping her coffee.

“Pari, there are so many pictures of you and Ishaan all over social media. People won’t stop gossiping about you both being a couple. They don’t know that we’re engaged, and I think we should make it official to put an end to all this. Or at least, you should give a press release clarifying the rumors. I know you two are just catching up on old times and there’s nothing between you. I trust you, Pari, but it would be better if we stop the gossip before it grows,” Varun said, shifting uncomfortably in his seat but forcing a smile at her.

Pari placed the cup on the tea stand before her and looked at Varun.

“Actually, I’ve been quite busy, Varun. But I’ll consider your words about the press release and let you know very soon. We just returned from London this morning and I feel exhausted. I need some rest now. See you later.”

Pari excused herself and returned to her room to continue her sleep. Ishaan, meanwhile, noticed Varun exchanging a silent glance with his father.

“I’ll take our leave. I’ll meet Pari later. Let her rest for now,” Varun said before walking out with his parents.

Ayaan, who had been waiting for drama, scoffed and tossed a piece of popcorn into his mouth.

Ishaan returned to the room and found Pari staring at the hickeys on her collarbone. He hugged her from behind and kissed the marks, making her turn around to face him.

“What’s on your mind, baby?” Ishaan asked, raking his fingers through her hair.

“Didn’t we plan romance as revenge? Let’s give him something big—something that will bring him crawling back to us,” Pari said, and Ishaan smirked at her words.

The next day, photos of Ishaan and Pari in their wedding attire at a London church went viral all over social media. Varun tried calling Pari repeatedly after seeing the photos, but she didn’t respond. Finally, he called Mithun and learned that Pari was at Rey’s Arcade. Without delay, he drove there to meet her.

Mithun’s PA informed him that Pari was in the conference room. Varun pushed open the door and froze. Pari was sitting on the table, Ishaan standing between her legs, the two of them lost in a deep kiss.

The sound of the door startled them, and they slowly broke apart, turning to look at the intruder. Varun clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, glaring at Ishaan.

“Hi Varun, wasn’t expecting you,” Pari said casually, hopping down from the table and taking a seat, while Ishaan leaned against the table beside her, running a hand through his disheveled hair.

“Pari, what am I seeing? Did he force you… like he did back in college?” Varun asked, taking a step forward.

Pari immediately shook her head. “No, he didn’t. Now tell me, what are you doing here? Weren’t you supposed to be at the office, looking after your business?”

Varun took a deep breath to compose himself. “I want to talk to you in private. Your actions are confusing me. I don’t understand what happened to us. Please, Pari… try to understand. Things are escalating. We need to discuss our life, our future. Just… come with me, somewhere we can talk.”

Pari shook her head firmly.

“Varun, I’m busy, so let’s get done with this discussion. Tell me, what do you want to know?” Pari asked. Varun gritted his teeth but forced himself to stay composed.

“Why are you ignoring me? And what’s going on between the two of you? Why aren’t you issuing any statement denying the gossip about you and Ishaan? You wanted us to give our relationship a chance, but you vanished as if I meant nothing to you. And now, I see you both in a room… kissing. Is this what I get for loving you? I love you, Pari. Tell me—what should I do to prove it?” Varun asked, sounding both desperate and betrayed.

“Varun, why should I issue any statement about my relationship with Ishaan? All the photos of me and Ishaan are real—including the one from this morning.” Pari’s words left Varun visibly shaken.

“But… Pari, that looked like a white wedding,” Varun stammered.

Pari glanced at Ishaan, who leaned closer and pressed a kiss to her forehead, shocking Varun even more.

“Pari?” Varun called her name in disbelief. She turned her attention back to him.

“Alright, it’s time you got your answers. I’ve been busy planning a release, Varun. Not just any release—a very special romantic movie. I think you should watch the trailer before we continue further.”

Pari played a video on the large display in the conference room. It showed Varun and Meghna entering his hotel room, followed by images of them hugging and videos of them kissing. Varun turned toward Ishaan, who wore a deadly smirk.

“Pari, this is not true. Someone is trying to frame me. These are forged—I have no such relationship with Meghna. Did Ishaan get these photos? He’s playing sick games again, Pari. Don’t believe him. He’s once again ruining us. This bloody bastard hasn’t learned his lesson ..”

A sharp slap cut him off, twisting his face to the side with its force. He held his cheek, stunned, and looked at Pari, who was fuming with rage while Ishaan held her close with his arm around her waist.

“How dare you call my Ishaan names? You are nothing but a filthy man-whore. You’re the one who ruined my life all these years. I know everything you did behind my back. You played me and I know exactly why you did it. So don’t you dare speak a word against my Ishaan” Pari thundered.

Varun looked at her, then at Ishaan, who still carried that satisfied smile.

“I met the twins you paid to mess with my life and Ishaan’s. I was there when you were screwing that bitch behind the tree. I saw her sneaking into your room, and you thought I wouldn’t know? You bloody bastard, it was our home you both defiled. I’ve been a fool to fall into your trap.” Pari’s chest heaved with anger, and Ishaan stroked her arm to calm her, though he relished every second of her lashing out at Varun.

“So… you got back with him to take revenge on me?” Varun asked, rubbing his stinging cheek. But Pari only laughed bitterly.

“You could have at least pretended to be a friend, but I treated you as my true friend. Do you want to know why I could never love you, even after all those years we spent together? Because I’ve always been in love with Ishaan. I let my ego blind me and pushed him away… but love always finds its way, doesn’t it?” Pari said softly, tilting her head toward Ishaan with love in her eyes. That look alone burned Varun with jealousy.

“After years of me chasing you, you chose him? Did you forget that we’re engaged? We haven’t called off the engagement yet. When the truth comes out, people will call you names, and both our families’ reputations will be at stake. Ishaan will be humiliated when they say he played his sick games to pull us apart. I still carry the engagement ring” Varun screamed, glaring at the couple, while Pari and Ishaan looked at him with quiet shock.
