A week had passed since Ishaan and Pari returned from their two-week honeymoon on the island.

They had decided to stay with the family at Rey’s manor, as Reyansh and Mithun had planned a party for Ayaan to officially take over Rey’s empire. Both Reyansh and Mithun were ready to retire from the business world, and they were more than happy to see their children handling everything with competence and confidence.

Ishaan and Pari were in their room. Pari was scrolling through the photos they had taken during their honeymoon when Ishaan suddenly snatched the MacBook from her and pulled her to sit between his legs.

“You can look at the photos later, Mrs. Ishaan. Right now, I have something important to discuss,” Ishaan said. Pari hummed, playing with his fingers, her smile soft and content.

“Love, remember when that bastard caused problems in our lives, and we agreed that you would give up Rey’s empire to Ayaan completely?” Ishaan asked, his tone gentle but serious. “Things have changed now. You don’t have to sit back and give up everything. If you want, you can get back into business with Ayaan—I can talk to Appa. Or, you could join me in the hotel business. Together, we can run it. And if neither of these appeals to you and you want to do something else, I will fully support you. I just want to know your plans for the future. Whatever decision you make, I’ll stand by you.”

Pari smiled, touched by his words.

“I don’t want to go back on my decision, Ishu. Let Ayaan handle the business. But I don’t want to sit at home wasting time either. How about I join Rey’s group of hotels?” she suggested.

Ishaan’s eyes lit up, and he gently rocked her body, clearly thrilled by her decision.

“I would love that, Mrs. Ishaan. We’ll get everything ready, and after the party, we’ll dive straight into business. Also, I think it’s time we shift to our penthouse. We need some privacy, and we can visit our family on weekends. What do you say?”

Pari nodded in agreement, and Ishaan rolled her onto the bed, kissing her passionately.

Two days later, the entire family gathered in the ballroom of Ishaan’s hotel for the party.

Only family, close friends, and executives from each branch of Rey’s group were invited. Reyansh and Mithun looked as handsome as ever in black tuxedos, with Vaishu and Kajal by their sides, elegant and radiant.

Ishaan, dressed in a sharp grey suit, stood with Pari, who looked stunning in a black gown, her arm linked with his. Ishika, Zara, and Adhvika were nearby with their friends, eagerly awaiting Ayaan’s entry.

True to his style, Ayaan made his entrance dramatically. Standing at the top of the stairs, hands tucked into the pockets of his pants, he looked strikingly handsome in a tailored three-piece suit, commanding every eye in the room.

Adhvika nudged Zara as Ayaan descended the stairs, his gaze fixed on her. He was wearing a shirt that perfectly matched her gown, and he gave her a playful wink.

Reyansh and Mithun rolled their eyes, though they couldn’t deny how much they loved seeing Ayaan completely smitten with Zara.

As Ayaan stood surrounded by smiles, Reyansh and Vaishu hugged him tightly, followed by each member of the family in turn, showering him with love and blessings for his new beginning.

Reyansh then signaled to his PA and received the microphone. He glanced at Vaishu, her eyes glistening with pride, before turning to the gathering.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” Reyansh began, his voice steady but warm, “today is not just about a new chapter for Ayaan, it is also about the future of our family and our legacy. For years, Rey’s Empire has stood strong, built not just on hard work and vision, but on trust, love, and unity. And today, I have the honor of officially announcing that Ayaan will be taking over the reins of Rey’s Empire.”

The crowd erupted in applause as Reyansh rested a hand on Ayaan’s shoulder and Mithun stood on the either side of him.

“He has not only proven himself capable in business, but he has also shown the values that matter the most — loyalty, compassion, and the courage to stand tall in every storm. I have no doubt that he will take this empire to greater heights than ever before.”

Reyansh paused for a moment, glancing back at Vaishu, who smiled at him softly. His tone grew lighter.

“As for me and my best friend and partner Mithun… I think We have done our part. From this day forward, We are officially retiring from business. I want to spend the rest of my life the way I’ve always dreamed, with my wife, my partner, my strength, Vaishu.” He reached for her hand and held it firmly, drawing a collective “aww” from the crowd.

Turning back to everyone, he said with a chuckle, “So if you’re looking for me in the office, I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed. From now on, you’ll probably find me following Vaishu around, making sure she never gets tired of me.”

The crowd laughed warmly, and Mithun placed his hand firmly on Ayaan’s shoulder. His voice carried both pride and emotion.

“Ayaan, I’ve seen you grow from a mischievous boy into a man ready to shoulder the weight of an empire. Today, we aren’t just passing you a business — we are passing you our dream. And I know you’re capable of carrying it forward with the same fire that burnt in us. Always remember, success isn’t just in numbers, it’s in values. Lead with integrity, lead with courage, and you will never fail. From today, this legacy is yours — protect it, grow it, and make us all proud.”

He pulled Ayaan into a warm hug as the audience clapped.

Applause filled the air as Reyansh and Mithun raised Ayaan’s hand high.

“Here’s to Ayaan, the new torchbearer of Rey’s Empire. May this be the beginning of a brighter future for all of us.”

The hall resounded with claps and cheers, sealing the moment as one of pride, joy, and legacy.

Ayaan took the mic from Reyansh, his eyes shining with emotions as he looked at his father first, then at Mithun, and finally at the rest of the family.

“Thank you, Dad,” Ayaan began, his voice slightly heavy, “for trusting me with something that has been not just your dream, but your life’s work. You’ve built Rey’s Empire with every drop of your sweat and every beat of your heart. And today, as you hand over the reins to me, I want you to know… I will never let your faith go in vain.”

He turned towards Mithun and bowed his head slightly.

“Mithun uncle, you’ve been more than just Dad’s friend. You’ve been his strength, his shadow, and his guide. And for me, you’ve always been another father figure — teaching me, correcting me, and most importantly, believing in me when I doubted myself. I’m standing here today because of both of you.”

Ayaan’s gaze then shifted to the crowd, his voice growing firmer.

“I know I have big shoes to fill. The name Rey is not just a brand, it’s a responsibility. I promise you all, I will protect this legacy with every ounce of my strength. I will work harder, dream bigger, and lead stronger — not just for the empire, but for the family that stands behind it.”

He looked back at Reyansh, his voice softening again.

“Dad, one day when people talk about Rey’s Empire, I don’t want them to just say I succeeded you. I want them to say I made you proud. That is my only goal, and I promise I’ll achieve it.”

Ayaan raised the mic slightly, his words filled with conviction.

“To my father, to Mithun uncle, and to this family — thank you for trusting me. From today, I dedicate myself fully to carrying this legacy forward, and I swear I will never let our name falter.”

The hall erupted in loud applause, while Reyansh and Mithun exchanged an emotional glance, pride gleaming in their eyes.

Ayaan stepped towards Zara and hugged her. Zara stroke his back to soothe him as he was feeling emotional.

” I know your days would be busy from now on but I want you to remember that I would be with you in every step of your success. I would always be proud of you ” Zara said with a smile.

“I hope you’re not upset that I chose blue for us today. Just for today, I promise, no more blue after this,” Ayaan mumbled, feeling apologetic for picking his favorite color, knowing Zara hated it.

“It’s okay, Ayaan. I love you. And sure, no more blue after today. But you’ll drink two glasses of orange juice,” Zara said, and Ayaan rolled his eyes at her playful revenge. He tried to walk away, but Zara stopped him, handing him a glass of the orange juice he hated.

The next day, Ishaan informed the family about Pari’s decision to join him in the business, and everyone was happy, fully supportive of their choice. Ishaan and Pari moved into their penthouse, and within a week, Ishaan had everything prepared for her to start working alongside him.

Together, they arrived at his office. Hand in hand, they reached the floor, and Ishaan guided her to the room he had arranged especially for her.

Later, Ishaan stood at the head of the long executive boardroom table, his presence commanding as always. The senior executives, directors, and department heads watched him with keen anticipation. His gaze softened as it shifted toward Pari, who sat quietly at his side.

“Ladies and gentlemen,” Ishaan began, his deep voice echoing in the silence of the room, “you’ve always known me as the man who built this empire brick by brick, making tough calls and pushing all of you to achieve excellence. But today, I want to share something important with you all. Behind every move I’ve made, there has been someone who stood by me—not just as my strength, but as a visionary in her own right.”

He extended his hand towards Pari, pulling her gently to stand beside him.

“From this day forward, Pari is not just my life partner… she is also your Joint CEO.  She will stand with me in every decision, every strategy, and every challenge this company faces.”

The executives exchanged surprised but respectful glances. Ishaan’s eyes glimmered with pride as he looked at Pari.

“I want each of you to give her the same respect and loyalty you’ve always given me. Together, we’re not just leading a company, we’re building a legacy. And I can promise you, with Pari by my side, our future has never been brighter.”

He squeezed her hand lightly, sealing his announcement with both authority and affection.

Ishaan and Pari returned to her room, and she hugged him tightly, overwhelmed with emotion. Ishaan caressed her back and pressed a gentle kiss to the crown of her head.

“I trust you more than I trust myself, Pari. Together, we will be an unstoppable force in the industry. Thank you, my love,” Ishaan said, and Pari pressed a soft kiss to his chest.

“I love you, Ishu,” she whispered, the words carrying the full weight of her emotions and the trust she held in him.

Three months passed. Ayaan had fully taken over the business, and Pari had settled seamlessly into working alongside Ishaan. Pari’s grandfather executed Ishaan’s plan to gain control over the opposition party, and with his guidance, Reyansh and Ishaan ensured key party members were financially aligned with their strategy.

One night, Ishaan and Pari returned home, and Pari felt exhausted. The next morning, after she threw up, Ishaan grew concerned about her health. He helped her get ready and served her breakfast.

“Pari, you look exhausted, and this is the second day you’ve been throwing up. I think we should get you checked… I mean, you missed your period this month,” he said gently.

Pari realized he was right. Ishaan promptly called the doctor from their hospital. Soon, the doctor and her assistant nurse arrived, and tests were conducted. Ishaan stayed by Pari’s side, holding her hand, while she bit her lip nervously, anticipating the results.

“Congratulations to both of you. Madam is pregnant,” the doctor confirmed.

Pari buried her face in Ishaan’s chest, crying tears of joy. Ishaan was equally emotional, thanking the doctor. Once the doctor left, Ishaan cupped her face, wiped her tears, and showered her with soft kisses on her eyes and lips.

“I love you, baby. I love you so much,” he murmured, kissing her all over. Together, they savored the moment of pure happiness, and Ishaan pressed a tender kiss to her abdomen, feeling the beginning of their little miracle.

By evening, they arrived at Rey’s manor. Ishaan had instructed the chef to prepare a special feast to share the wonderful news with the family.

“We are expecting our baby in a few months,” Ishaan announced.

For a moment, the room fell into an awed silence. Adhvika and Ishika were the first to react, letting out joyful screams that broke the quiet, followed quickly by laughter and celebration from the rest of the family.

Rey, Vaishu, Mithun, and Kajal hugged the couple warmly, showering them with blessings. Reyansh, unable to contain his excitement, turned to Vaishu with a wide grin.

“Avi, we’re going to be grandparents. Oh my God… it feels like we were just enjoying muffins yesterday, and now look at us—our children are all grown up, and we’re going to be grandparents” Reyansh exclaimed, while Mithun smirked at his theatrics.

“No more behaving like a lovestruck teenager. Get ready to play with our grandchildren. Officially, you’ve aged, you’re an old man now,” Mithun teased, and Rey chuckled at his words.

“I still can’t believe I’ll be playing with my grandchild,” Rey said, touching his grey hair and beard, making everyone giggle.

“So what if we have grandchildren? You still look handsome, Ansh, and you’ll always be my handsome husband,” Vaishu said, hugging him affectionately.

Reyansh kissed her head and looked around at his family with pride, his heart full.

Later, Ishaan and Pari retired to their room at the manor. Ishaan spooned her from behind, his hand resting gently on her abdomen.

“I can’t wait to hold our baby,” Ishaan murmured. Pari turned in his arms and pressed her lips to his.

“I can’t wait either,” she whispered, snuggling closer into him, feeling their shared excitement and love.
