Recap: Reyansh let Vaishu know that he knew her past and proposes a friend’s coffee date with her.

Reyansh was pacing in his room impatiently biting his nails. He sat on the bed and raked his fingers through his hair frustratingly. Mithun was munching on an apple looking at him.
Mithun: Ippo enna dhan da unnoda prechana ? Nadandhu nadandhu tharaiye thenjidum pola.. ( what is your problem man ? The floor will wear out with you walking like this )
Reyansh: ava varuvala ? ( Will she come ?)
Mithun: Aval varuvala … un udaindhu pona nenjai otta veikka avala varuvala ? ( Will she come ? To fix your broken heart, will she come ? ) (Aval varuvala song from movie Aasai)
Reyansh threw a vase on Mithun but he dodged catching it from hitting him and set his hair with his fingers.
Reyansh: Its been an hour and muffins must be asleep by now.
Mithun: then what are you doing here ? Go to the garden and wait for her or she might arrive early and return thinking you changed your mind on having a coffee date with her.
Reyansh: Oh shit..
Reyansh quickly checked his hair once in the mirror and rushed out of his room. He reached the garden and sat on the couch interlacing his fingers and looking at the way waiting for her. An hour passed and she didn’t arrive. He waited for another 30 minutes and huffed giving up.
Reyansh Mv: No problem. what if she doesn’t show up I will try something else to get in her a comfort zone with me.
He walked back inside and saw Vaishu coming running and stumbled onto him. Reyansh caught her hand saving her from falling back on the floor. He let go of her hand as she immediately managed to stand. Vaishu gulped as their eyes met and she found his gaze very different.
Vaishu Mv: Avar Kannu yedho solra madhiriye irukke ? Azhagana kangal avarkku. ( Why do I feel like his eyes are trying to convey something ? He has beautiful eyes )
He was so lost in her eyes trying to get drowned in them as it was first time he felt her looking into his eyes for a long time. He didn’t want to break the moment and let her try to understand his longing for her so he waited for her to speak first this time. Vaishu gulped and quickly averted her gaze cursing mentally for getting lost in his eyes.
Vaishu: I m sorry, Ishaan just slept so I couldn’t arrive early and couldn’t make a coffee too.
Reyansh smiled leaning on the wall with his hands in his pocket. His heart making a flip in excitement that she too wanted to have the coffee date with him.
Reyansh: No problem Vaishu. I thought they would have fallen asleep in their usual time.
Vaishu: Can we sit in the room only. They will be alone if we go to the garden.
Reyansh: sure, go ahead and I will join in few minutes.
Vaishu nodded her head and left to her room. Reyansh nodded his head like she did and raised his fist in air as he entered the kitchen sending the staffs out. He made hot chocolate for both of them and entered her room and saw her sitting on the couch. He passed a cup to her and settled down next to her with some distance between them.
Reyansh: This is hot chocolate and I m sure this won’t cause you any illness.
Vaishu shook her head and took a sip of it. Reyansh too did watching her from his peripheral view.
Reyansh: What is your qualification Vaishu ?
Vaishu: I chose Business administration through distance education but I got pregnant during my second year so I couldn’t complete it.
Reyansh: You can join now and complete your studies. We all here to take care of Ishu and Ishi.
Vaishu: I have not thought of it so let it be. As of now I want to concentrate only on Ishaan and Ishika. What about you relatives ? Is there anyone ?
Reyansh: Ofcourse I have but I stopped them from coming into my life. I didn’t want anyone to play in my life for my father’s money or business.
Vaishu: Asha maa said you are diamond merchant. You started the business or was it your father’s ?
Reyansh: My father was doing gold jewellery business and had many showrooms. After him I started diamond business and I have many showrooms across world. Apart from diamond me and Mithun also have malls and hotels across metro cities and few minor business too.
Vaishu’s mouth hung open hearing him saying it so casually. She nodded her head and continued on her hot chocolate.
Reyansh: When is your birthday ?
Vaishu: The day after tomorrow.
Reyansh stopped sipping his hot chocolate and turned to her completely.
Reyansh: Day after tomorrow ?
Vaishu nodded her head and he was too much surprised.
Reyansh: How is this possible ? My birthday is day after tomorrow too.
They both laughed at their birthday falling on the same day. Over the last one month the one thing Reyansh couldn’t get over was the sight of her laughing comfortably in his presence. He could watch her laughing all day.
Reyansh: So tell me what would you like to do on your birthday ?
Vaishu: Nothing much. I used to go to temple when my parents were alive but after they left me I couldn’t.
Reyansh: Done then I will take you to temple on our birthday.
Vaishu: No no, from what I heard from you I guess you must be popular celebrity and I don’t want you to be in any trouble because of me so I will go on my own and you can take care of Ishu babies for sometime.
Reyansh: I will take you to temple and you don’t worry about anything else.
Vaishu: What will you do on your birthday ?
Reyansh Mv: If I had not seen you then this birthday would have been another year with women and drinks but this year I want it to be very different with you. Should I say her about my life ? What if she hate me ? But one day she has to know about me so why not tell now.
Reyansh: If I be honest will you judge me ?
Vaishu: When you didn’t judge me then how will I judge you ? Everyone has a past and we don’t decide a person on their past. The present is all matters and the Reyansh I know now is a wonderful person, very kind, caring and in simple words I haven’t seen anyone like you.
Reyansh: I m not sure of you reaction after hearing my words but I wanted to be genuine with you. My birthday was all about drinks and women. I didn’t had anyone to care for me and for me to care for them so I lived a life having all fun but everything changed the night I saw you.
Vaishu: You lost your freedom after we entered your life is it ?
She asked in a jovial manner pouting and Reyansh shook his head turning completely towards her placing his hand behind her head on the head rest.
Reyansh: No, I m loving this life. I love that there is someone at home waiting for me. I have always dreamt a life like this. Finally it has come true.
Vaishu looked at Reyansh and they had a eye lock again and were lost in each other.
Vaishu Mv: Ishaan, Ishika are lucky that you come home for them. I m ready to wait for a life time if someone would come for me too.
Reyansh wanted to say that he comes to home not only for Ishaan and Ishika but also her instead he chose the earlier.
Reyansh: Ishaan and Ishika wait for me isn’t it ?
Vaishu: hmm yes they wait for you.
Reyansh Mv: I come for you too Vaishu. When will you start waiting for me ? I hope that day comes soon.
After years Vaishu’s heart squeezed feeling a longing to have someone for herself not knowing the man next to her succeeded in breaking the wall she built around heart and sowed the seeds of desire to be loved. She averted her eyes from him and looked at her babies as she spoke to him.
Vaishu: If you want I can take Ishaan and Ishika out and you can have your party at home. We won’t disturb you.
Reyansh: I have never been with a woman after you and muffins came into my life. I don’t want to be with any of them. My day will be complete being with the babies and you……….
Vaishu was shocked to hear his words and she felt a little happiness for unknown reason and a lot of fear because of the situation she was in but all the emotions disappeared when Reyansh uttered Mithun and Asha maa’s name to complete his sentence after a long pause.
Vaishu: Did you feel bad when you..I .I mean .. no I m sorry.
Reyansh: Did I feel bad for being with many women ? Is that what you wanted to ask ?
Vaishu slowly nodded her head and Reyansh drew circle on the end of her shawl that was resting on the couch not able to look at her in shame.
Reyansh: I never forced anyone or took advantage of anyone. Its like I needed a company and they wanted money and expensive gifts from me. No attachments, no commitments and I just had some time to get over my frustrations from business. I feel shameful of all my acts and you made me realize it.
Vaishu: You could have got married ?
Reyansh: I was not ready for any commitments or I would say that I was scared of letting anyone in my life. What if they too leave me alone like my parents did so I took the safe way to live my life the other way where I don’t have to be scared that they will leave me.
Vaishu: How old are you ?
Reyansh: I m 28..and how old are you ?
Vaishu: neenga avlo periyavara ? ( You are so old ?)
Reyansh wanted to run away or hide somewhere hearing her words after knowing his age but he huffed mentally.
Reyansh: Just 28 Vaishu.. I m not old and still young.
Vaishu: I m 21 this birthday.
Reyansh Mv: Anna sollida pora da kelambidu inga irundhu. podhum pesunadhu. ( Leave this place before she calls you brother. You had enough conversation)
Reyansh: You should sleep for sometime before muffins wake up. See you in the morning. Good night.
He immediately left her room and returned to his. Mithun who was waiting for Reyansh to know about the coffee date had fallen asleep already. Reyansh laid on the bed and smiled thinking of how comfortable she felt in questioning him.
A day passed it was day of their birthday. Morning Reyansh woke up and entered the kitchen after refreshing. The sight before him made him freeze in his spot. Vaishu was dressed in a light yellow saree with floral designs and her pallu was tucked to her waist, her long hair was braided neatly. His eyes fell on the exposed skin on her waist and the way she twisted and turned moving in the kitchen in the process of cooking made an urge in him to touch the flawless skin.
He ambled towards her and Vaishu smiled at him passing a cup of coffee. He stood there sipping the coffee and his eyes not leaving her. Vaishu raised her hand to take a jar from the shelf and Reyansh took a gulp of the hot coffee in a hurry when he saw the shape of her full breast cladded in a matching yellow blouse.
Reyansh Mv: Ippadi oruthi kannu munnadi vechukitu oru manushan eppadi nallavana irukradhu ? Oru nyayam venama ? ( How could a man be good having such a temptress before my eyes all the day ? Can there be a justice for this ?)
Vaishu: Vera yedhachum venuma Reyansh ? ( Do you need something else Reyansh ?)
Reyansh Mv: Neraya venum Vaishu.. Nee mothama enakke venum life full ah venum.. ( I want many things Vaishu.. I want you all for me… forever in my life )
Reyansh placed the cup aside and moved close to her. Placing his palms on either side of the counter he caged her between his arms. Vaishu’s breathe laboured and she held her breath when his hot air fanned her nape.
Reyansh blew hot air on her earlobe with his lips touching very gently as he moaned her name.
Reyansh: Avi…..
Vaishu’s eyes open wide hearing the name he chose for her and in a swift Reyansh turned her to face him. Vaishu’s palms rested on his chest trying to put a distance but all went in vain when Reyansh snaked his hands around held her bare waist in a tight grip pulling her closer. Their chest heaved as his face moved closer to her and a a moan escaped Vaishu’s lips when his lips touched the corner of her lips.
Vaishu: Ansh…..
They closed their eyes as their lips grazed against each other but a slap brought Reyansh to reality. He opened his eyes and saw Mithun glaring at him.
Mithun: Yarukku da air la kiss kudukkura ? ( Whom are you kissing in the air ?)
Reyansh looked around and saw himself in the bed and everything was dream. He covered his face with the duvet but Mithun pulled it away again trying to slap him.
Reyansh: Get away idiot you don’t let me to have a nice dream too. I just missed it.
Mithun: what did you miss ?
Reyansh: Kissing your sister. What the fucking thing you need now that you spoilt my moment ?
Mithun: Happy birthday idiot. Wake up and get ready quickly.
Reyansh thanked him and went away to get ready. Both Mithun and Reyansh reached the kitchen and Reyansh froze on seeing Vaishu dressed up in a yellow saree with yellow blouse, her hair braided neatly and she looked exactly the same from his dream.
Reyansh Mv: Appo mathadhum nadakkuma enna ? ( Then the other things will happen too is it ?)
