Recap: Reyansh inform Vaishu about his discussion with lawyer to let her ex-husband to meet the babies. Later they take care of the babies together.

Mithun arrived at the high court wearing mask, coolers and saw the assistants of Sethuram waiting for him. They took him to the room where the trail will be held and Mithun got seated in his place. He saw Jagan with an older couple and removed his mask and coolers smirking at them.
He saw Priya entering the room and she passed a smile greeting him.
Priya: Sir has arrived and was swarmed by the media. He covered up saying that he is here for a business case and any details cannot be revealed at this moment.
Mithun: Thats good, still if required we can create a case and make it easy for his appearance without any problem from the media.
Priya: We will discuss this later with sir.
They saw Sethuram entering and Mithun greeted him with hand shake. Sethu and Priya got seated and as soon as the judge made his entry the details of the case was announced and the petitioner’s lawyer was called for his trail.
Petitioner’s lawyer: Your honour, I m Arun Nair here to present my trail for my client Mr. Jagan Sugumaran.
He passed the papers to the judge and once he was asked to continue he started his trail.
Arun: Your honour, my client Jagan has filed a petition for the custody of his twin babies with his ex-wife Ms. Vaishnavi Prathappan. They are divorced and currently she is jobless and homeless which proves her incapability to take care of the babies alone. My client Jagan runs a business and wants the custody of his children. We have enough evidences that will prove Ms. Vaishnavi is not worthy enough to take care of the babies so I request your permission to submit our evidences for it.
Sethuram interrupted and after submitting his papers he started his arguments.
Sethuram: Your honour, My clients Ms. Vaishnavi, the biological mother and Mr. Reyansh Badrinath the babies father legally are not in a state to focus on this case. I have submitted the medical certificate from the authorised government doctor that Ms. Vaishnavi and the babies are not well. My client Mr. Reyansh Badrinath has to take care of his fiance and babies so I need time to work on this case to support my trails and arguments. I request for a period of 25 days for us to come with all the supportive documents and evidences in this case. The affidavit that claims Mr. Reyansh has adopted the babies legally are also submitted for your reference.
Arun: Your honour, 20 to 25 days are too much of time. I request you to grant permission for my client to visit his babies and to start with the hearings without any delay.
Sethuram: I m sorry your honour, considering the safety of his babies Mr. Reyansh couldn’t agree to this plea until we are sure of the safety of his fiance and babies. Adding to that they are not well and its not recommendable to have any visitors at this moment. I request you to consider any plea from the petitioner after you hear the complete trial and arguments. Thats all your honour.
Judge: After hearing both the trails of the petitioner and Defendant, I take into consideration the health and well being of the new born babies and even the mother so the trails are postponed to day 21 from today. Defence attorney is said to make sure of presenting his trails on the said date. The court is adjourned.
Everyone stood for the judge to leave and Mithun hugged Sethuram for succeeding in the first step of what Reyansh wanted in the case. Sethuram and Priya walked out and Mithun stood with his hands in his pocket.
Arun Nair and Jagan made their way towards Mithun and Arun greeted him.
Arun: I can see you are representing Mr. Reyansh. Can we have a sitting to discuss the case with Mr. Reyansh?
Mithun flicked the collar of Jagan’s shirt with a evil smirk.
Mithun: What is the hurry for settling the case ? We haven’t even started yet so wait for the hearing and later I will think of discussing this with Reyansh.
Jagan: Atleast let me see my babies once. I m their father.
Mithun: Father ? you ? Be happy that I m holding myself from beating the shit out of you at this time for saying that or I would have given you some better treat for taking the word for our Vaishu’s babies.
The old lady came forward and spoke in a calm voice.
Old lady: Sir, nothing will change the fact that my son is the father of the babies. Please let us meet my grandchildren once. We have missed them already for so many months. Show them to us. Please.
Jagan: Maa, don’t cry. They are my children and we will get them.
Mithun slapped Jagan and kneed him in the place where the sun doesn’t shine. Jagan fell down crying in pain and his mother cursed Mithun and crouched to Jagan to check on him.
Mithun: Fuckard, I will pray god for the day you meet Reyansh to be soon. His punches are damn good than mine.
Arun: Mr. I will call the police and sue you for doing this.
Mithun: Go ahead and I will make sure to get your licences cancelled and you are thrown out of the bar council for bribery, misconduct and forgery. I will also make sure that you disregarded rule 36 too.
He wore his coolers and walked out of the court room wearing his mask. He made his way out of the court secretly without any media attention as he drove the Innova which he and Reyansh use at times to sneak out.
Reyansh was in his study and Vaishu along with Asha was in the room adjacent to their bedroom giving oil massage to Ishaan and Ishika before bathing them. Mithun returned home and entered the study after calling Reyansh.
Reyansh saw Mithun who rarely got anger was hardly holding his rage from beating the shit out of someone. He understood what could be reason and poured a glass of water for him.
Reyansh: so, you met him and what did that bastard talk to you ?
Mithun explained everything and Reyansh was quiet without any expression.
Reyansh: Mithun, save all the anger for the day when he will step into our home. Now cool down and have you assigned the PIs to get the details ?
Mithun: Yeah, done already. That asshole got married even before the divorce was approved. The company is running good and thanks to that bitch Lavanya has got some business orders.
Reyansh: Put your little effort to take back all those orders. Those employees are our Vaishu’s employees so pay them well to file complaint about that the current owner being very abusive towards them. Should I give you ideas to go against someone who hurt your sister ?
Mithun: I love you Rey. I will make sure to keep him in peace.
They reached the room and saw Asha wiping Ishaan’s body after giving him bath and Vaishu was still in the washroom bathing Ishika. On seeing Reyansh and Mithun Ishaan started babbling.
Reyansh took the towel from Asha and started wiping Ishaan. Asha left to get milk bottles for the babies and Mithun was holding the moisturizer and dress for him.
Mithun: Rey, I promise to smack your face.
Reyansh: Nonsense, what did I do now ? And stop using those words before my son.
Mithun: I m hallucinating a lot these days. See, now I feel that Ishaan look like you.
Reyansh started laughing and kissed Ishaan on his nose.
Reyansh: Muffin, he is jealous that I get to spend more time with you and trying to snatch you from me. So what is wrong if you look like me ? I will be more happy and say like father like son. Now dress him up and I will go check on my princess.
Mithun: To check only on the princess or mother too ?
Reyansh actioned to spit on him and entered the washroom rolling his sleeves. Vaishu was sitting by the bath tub for babies and washing Ishika’s hair.
Reyansh sat on the other side and cooed at Ishika who started laughing trying to get out of the tub. He held her and Vaishu started bathing Ishika.
Vaishu: Your dress will get wet Ansh. you could have waited for me to bath her.
Reyansh: Let me also learn to bath them. You and Asha maa do it everyday and I can do too only if I learn.
Vaishu: Did Mithun brother call you ?
Reyansh: He is in the room, dressing Ishaan. Hearing is postponed after 20 days. We have enough time.
Vaishu: Thank god, we don’t have to see those faces anytime soon.
Reyansh: Even when they are here you will see only me and our babies so why worry. I will give all my time to you and keep you busy.
He winked at her and Vaishu smiled with a blush. Reyansh carried Ishika out of the tub and walked out wrapping a towel around her followed by Vaishu.
Vaishu: Reyansh, your clothes are wet, go get changed and I will dress her up.
Reyansh returned to the room and Vaishu dressed up Ishika before she left to the washroom to get her clothes changed. Reyansh returned and saw Ishika on the bed, Mithun was feeding Ishaan with a bottle.
Mithun: Rey, feed Ishi. Ishaan is ready and also completed the bottle so I m taking him with me to the living.
Reyansh sat on the bed with Ishika in his lap and started feeding her from the bottle. A few minutes later Vaishu came out changing her dress and smiled at him.
Reyansh: Avi, yen ponnukku Mai vekkalaya ? ( Avi, you haven’t applied kajal to my daughter ?)
Vaishu: Your daughter doesn’t let me do these days. I have to do it only when she is asleep.
Reyansh: Princess, why don’t you let your amma to put kajal to you ?
He was caressing her hair with his fingers and Ishika fell asleep. Reyansh removed the bottle and gestured Vaishu to apply Kajal. Vaishu sat opposite to him and put a dot between the eyebrows of Ishika, a line on the lower eyelids, a dot on the sole of her feet and cheek to ward of the evil eyes for Ishika. Finally she applied some baby powder on them from being smudged.
Reyansh: I will put her to bed and you go apply kajal to Ishaan. Mithun has taken him to the living.
She was about to leave but he held her hand to stop. He took the kajal from her hand and marked a tiny dot below Vaishu’s lips.
Reyansh: Let no evil eyes cast on you too. You look so beautiful and enticing. Why don’t you apply kajal to your eyes ?
With a kiss on her lips he let her go and proceeded to their room with Ishika.
Jagan was pacing in the hall of the home which he took away from Vaishu. He was biting his nails waiting for his wife Sakshi and his parents Leela and sugumaran were munching on the peanuts watching him.
Leela: Jagan, why don’t you call Sakshi and know where she is instead of wearing out the floor with your walking ?
Jagan: You worry as if you made this floor. Your brother worked his ass to build this home and I worked doing all plans squeezing my brain to get rid of his daughter and got all these luxury for us.
Leela: What is the use ? She has gone to more luxurious place.
Reyansh: Not just luxurious, she is living in a heaven on earth. Lavanya said that he doesn’t have a count on the properties and money owned by him.
sugumaran: Who is that man slapped you ?
Jagan: He is Mithun, friend of my ex wife’s current fiance.
They saw Sakshi entering inside and she sat throwing her handbag on the couch.
Jagan: Did you meet Lavanya ? What did she say ?
She gave him a deadly glare and gulped water from the bottle maid gave her before she spoke.
Sakshi: Are you sure we can trust her ?
Jagan and his parents looked at her horrified while Sakshi was gritting her teeth in extreme annoyance.

A/N:
The next couple of chapters we will see the growing bond of Reyansh with Vaishu and the babies and how he gets her prepared getting rid of her insecurities to face Jagan and his family. We will also see his way of preparing for the case with the lawyer and most importantly Jagan and his family will be introduced with their true colors.
