Chapter 4

Reyansh and Mithun left the room and Asha looked at the babies first and then sat on the bed opposite to Vaishu with a smile.

Asha: Kozhandhainga romba azhaga irukkanga appadiye unna madhiri. ( Babies are so beautiful just like you )

Vaishnavi did not reply but smiled at her words.

Asha: Vaishnavi, unga appa, amma, purushan lam enga irukanga ? ( Vaishnavi, where are you parents and husband ?)

Vaishnavi again started crying but Asha hugged her throwing her hands around her neck. Reyansh who returned to get his mobile stopped as the door was ajar and he saw Vaishnavi breaking down in Asha’s shoulder.

Asha: Vaishnavi, azhadha ma. Yenna nu sonna dhane theriyum. Reyansh romba nallavaru kandippa unakku help pannuvaru. ( Vaishnavi don’t cry. We will now anything only if you say us. Reyansh is very good and he will help you for sure )

Vaishnavi: Amma, appa illa… chinna ponna irukkum podhu sethutanga.. ( I don’t have my parents. They were dead when I was young )

Asha wiped her tears and removed the hairs from her face. Vaishu was sobbing like a kid and it broke Reyansh’s heart.

Asha: Unnoda purushan enga irukaru ? sondha karanga Illa boy friend yarachum irukangala ?        ( where is your husband ? Your relatives or boy friend anyone ?)

Vaishu closed her mouth and her body shook as she cried and Asha gave her water to relax her. Vaishu returned the glass and wiped her cheeks with the back of her hand.

Vaishu: Avar enna divorce pannitaru. Nethu dhan divorce papers vandhuchu, vandha odane Veeta vittu veliya anupitaru. Kozhandhaiyum venam sollitaru. Idhukku mela yedhuvum kekkadhinga please                                                                                                              ( He divorced me. Yesterday he got the divorce papers and immediately threw me out of home. Please don’t ask me anything more )

Asha gasped hearing everything and pulled Vaishu to her chest to console her. Reyansh excused entering inside and left immediately on picking his mobile from the couch. He closed the door and stood by the wall gritting his teeth and his eyes turned blood shot to know that she had gone through so much. He reached where Mithun was waiting and got in the car with him.

Mithun: Hey, what happened ? Why are you in so anger ?

Reyansh punched the dashboard and Mithun grabbed his hand and saw his knuckles swelling yet there was no pain on Reyansh’s face.

Reyansh explained everything to Mithun and he felt relieved that there was a way to hold Vaishu and her babies in Rey’s life. They drove to few shops and Reyansh bought clothes for Vaishu and the babies.

Mithun: How do you know her size ?

Reyansh: Is it important right now ?

Mithun: Ofcourse it is important. Babies cloth I can understand because they are just born but Vaishu ?

Reyansh: That is called experience. Arghhh Do you really had to ask this question now ?

Mithun shut his mouth with his palm and they started driving back to hospital.

Mithun: what will you do now ? from what you said sure she doesn’t have a place to go.

Reyansh: Let her live at my home as of now and we will decide later when she relaxes from all those pains.

Mithun: Think well before doing that. She seems to broken already and don’t let anyone break her further or better send her to some home and you can pay for her and the babies. I think you understood what I m saying.

Reyansh stopped the car giving his full attention to Mithun.

Mithun: Let us first talk to Asha aunty and know if Vaishu has decided anything. If she has not decided then let me talk to her and convince her to stay at your home but if she is refuses then we should let her go.

Mithun Mv: If that girl and her babies can bring so much happiness in your life then I will do anything to hold her in your life but I don’t want to give you too much hope until she agrees to our words.

Reyansh: What if she doesn’t agree ?

Mithun: We will know very soon so calm down.

They reached the hospital and saw Asha feeding breakfast to Vaishnavi. Reyansh placed the bags on the bed beside Vaishnavi and sat on the couch.

Reyansh: I have bought few dresses for you and babies.

Asha: Rey, Vaishu has a request to you.

Mithun and Reyansh shared a look and Rey looked at Vaishnavi expecting if she would speak but Asha continued.

Asha: She wants a job to take care of herself and her babies. What do you say ?

Reyansh: Vaishnavi, what job can you do ? I will arrange accordingly.

Vaishnavi: I can cook and take care of household works.

Mithun: Alright then Vaishnavi you can work for Rey and stay at his home. If that is ok for you and don’t worry you won’t be alone. Asha aunty lives there and you can help her in the works but not now immediately. You have just given birth to babies so rest for a month or two then you can start your work.

Vaishu: Illa, onnum problem illa.. naa work panren. ( No, there is no problem and i can start working )

Mithun: Rey’s employees are allowed for a maternity leave of 3 months with salary and you are now his employee so you can be on leave for 3 months with salary. Am I right Rey ?

Rey: Ofcourse Mithun.

Rey Mv: Thank you so much Mithun.. Love you for this…

Vaishu mumbled a thanks and Rey moved to the crib to look after the little ones.

Rey Mv: Wow, you will be staying with me from now on. I will return home happily from office that I will get to see you both….I need not stay late night to kill the time.

Asha: Vaishu, your body needs more rest and you need to eat healthy food. I will cook all the healthy foods for you from now on. Mithun, doctor said she can be taken home tomorrow. I will stay here until then to take care of her. you both go home and rest for sometime.

Rey was about to protest but Mithun stopped him and pulled him out bidding bye to Asha and Vaishu.

Rey: Edhukku da izhutu vandha ? ( why did you drag me out ?)

Mithun: Rey tell me honestly. Should I confirm that she is the angel ?

Rey: I don’t know but she is still a mystery yet doesn’t deserve this pain. Those little muffins has all my heart.

Mithun Mv: then I m sure your muffins will be the cupids to bring you and their mother together. Now that she will stay at your home everything will fall in place. I will make sure that to happen. Now my first work is to keep that witch away from you.

Mithun: Lets go and I think it will be good if Lavanya doesn’t show up at your home for some days. Atleast until Vaishu and your muffins get settled. What if Lavanya doesn’t like children and do something bad to them ? Then Vaishu will leave with her babies.

Reyansh: no no.. that will not happen. I will switch of my mobile and if she call you then inform her that I m on a business trip for a month. She might be a fling but knows few information about our business so I need to find a way to get rid of her completely without any problem.

Mithun Mv: Unnoda weakness irukku la adha vechu ellam panren da. ( I got your weakness and i will do everything using it )

Mithun wrapped his hand around his shoulder and they drove in their car to Reyansh’s home. As soon as they reached Reyansh opened the guest room in the ground floor and did a check on it.

Mithun: What are you looking at ?

Reyansh: Will this room be enough to place two cribs and things for the babies ?

Mithun: Rey, don’t get me wrong. Don’t buy anything unless she asks for it. She might mistake your care and change her decision. So take it slow and let them live comfortably with the minimum things and step by step you can start showing your care for the babies and even Vaishu.

Rey: Vaishnavi is very naive ..

Mithun: I don’t need any explanation now. If you like her then nothing is wrong in it. If she is in your destiny then nothing will stop that. Take it slow and don’t rush your feelings for her and just focus on the babies and have a good time with them. I can see how happy you are around them.

Mithun Mv: I trust the little ones with your life.

Reyansh: Even if I like her, I don’t trust my fate so don’t get your hopes high. I m feeling the real me around the babies and wanted to keep them with me.

Mithun: Ofcourse I understand Rey. I won’t push you to fall in love with her. Just be happy around the babies.

Mithun Mv: appadiye andha ponna muzhungura madhiri paathutu pecha paru. ( Look how he talks after checking her out as if he would swallow her )

Reyansh: Let me bath and we will leave to the hospital. Inform the chef to cook for Vaishnavi.

Mithun: What if you get caught my media ?

Reyansh: I will wear mask and cap. I also spoke to doctor to make sure that footages are taken care. I have paid a huge amount to the nurse, the only person who has seen me without mask. So don’t worry about anything.

Mithun Mv: Idhu eppo da panna ? ( When did you do this ?)

Mithu: We shall go in the evening and let her bond with Asha aunty which will help her stay here. Now let me sleep and you too have a good sleep.

Mithun crashed on the couch with his hands and legs stretched.

Reyansh: Fineeeeeee but get you ass of the couch and go into your room. I will order the servants to clean and sanitize the ground floor. There could be germs anywhere.

Mithun: Its natural to fall in love with babies and adding to that you were the first to carry them so you are too much excited but don’t kill my patience and sleep. If there is any germs here then it is you moron. Get lost and wash the fucking germs of your body and let me sleep.

He fell asleep and Reyansh entered his room to refresh. A few hours later Mithun woke up due to lot of disturbances and saw the servants busy walking in and out of the guest room. He entered inside the room and saw servants carrying out the vacuum cleaner after finishing cleaning the room and two of them entering carrying a crib. A maid changing the sheets into new one.

Mithun: Ivan adangave mattan pola. Nalla sandhoshama iru da aana aarva kolaru la sodhapidadha. ( He doesn’t seem to stop. Be happy man but don’t spoil anything due to your over enthusiasm.)
