Recap: Reyansh and Vaishu try to be casual around each other. She tries to understand the logic of politics and elections.

Four days passed and there was no improvement other than Reyansh made conversation looking at Vaishu directly in her eyes and she was more than happy for it. True to her words she took away his mobile and never allowed to touch his laptop or enter the study to involve in business and he happily gave into her words. He spent all his time with his son and daughter and the three musketeers were allowed only to have food, play and sleep.
Vaishu worked her best to gather information on the on going politics and the files which Reyansh had worked earlier helped her a lot to gain the information she wanted and Mithun did help her to some extent.
It was evening and Vaishu was waiting for the survey results which Mithun carried out and as well as the ruling party. She was breast feeding Ishaan when Reyansh returned to the room after his walk in the garden.
Looking at her feeding he immediately turned around mumbling sorry and Vaishu covered herself with the duvet casting her eye to the floor.
Vaishu: I m covered Ansh. You may turn now.
She sounded normal to her but Reyansh could sense her voice trembling in between which confirmed how much he was hurting her by staying away from her. He cursed himself for all the troubles he was causing in her life.
Slowly he turned and sat on the bed not meeting her eyes.
Reyansh: I m..
Vaishu: Don’t you dare say any more sorry Ansh. We are done talking this and you don’t have to feel guilty for anything. I just feel like its a role reverse now. Once I was going through it and now you. Isn’t it funny ?
Reyansh Mv: Try your best to mask the hurt Avi but who know you well if not me ?
Reyansh: Yes, you are right. I m thinking about consulting some specialist to work on my panic attacks. May be different treatment might fix me.
Vaishu: You are absolutely fine Ansh and you don’t need to meet any doctor. Just relax for some days and I m sure you will be fine with time.
Ishika who was playing with her tweety plush dropped it and crawled to him and stood on his lap bouncing and squealing with her finger in her mouth.
Reyansh rubbed his nose with hers and she caught his lock in her fist pulling him and trying to climb over him. He made her sit over his shoulder with her legs on either side and Ishika was holding his hair and giggled when he moved around the room.
Vaishu made Ishaan sit on the bed and he was too excited to see Ishika sitting on Reyansh.
Vaishu: Handle them and I will go check on the dinner preparations.
Reyansh hummed and Vaishu walked out and saw Mithun waiting for her.
Vaishu: Is everything alright ?
Mithun shook his head and they moved to the study and closed the door behind. Mithun gave her the survey reports and raked his fingers through his hair in frustration.
Mithun: The survey conducted by the firm I arranged and the one arranged the Kajal’s father has got the same results. Ruling party will lose this elections.
Vaishu: Does that impact our business or reputation by any chance ?
Mithun: I don’t know Vaishu. I can handle business but it was Rey who always analysed every situation and act according to it. I only carried out his orders. Right now I don’t know what will be the impact if the government changes. Sure we will have to pay crores of money but other than that I don’t have any idea.
Vaishu: Let whatever happen but we are not taking this issue to Reyansh at any cost. Let us lose as many crores and that doesn’t matter but we can’t risk with Reyansh’s life. Nothing is important to me other than Reyansh. Lets see what destiny has for us.
She walked out of the study and Mithun followed her. They had dinner and all the while Vaishu didn’t let any emotion visible on her face and served dinner to Reyansh and fed Ishu babies too.
Vaishu: Reyansh, Ishu and Ishi won’t sleep anytime soon so its better you go to sleep and I will take care of them.
Reyansh: No, I will be awake with them and put them to sleep.
Vaishu: Reyanshhhh, you are supposed to have your tablets on time and I m not compromising with that. Now go to room and I will get your tablets and that is end of discussion.
Reyansh hummed and returned to room not giving room for anything that might upset her.
Vaishu was having dinner when Mithun came running in a panic mode.
Mithun: Vaishu, Opposition party has extended support to the ED knowing that they have bright hopes of winning the election.
Vaishu: What do you mean ?
Mithun: Lavanya is out of prison with the help of the leader of the opposition party. She must have given details about the diamonds and now ED officials are on way and would arrive anytime here.
Vaishu: No we are not involving Reyansh. Let them come and we shall find a way out of this. Do me a help and take Ishaan and Ishika to the study. I will be there shortly.
Mithun: But Vaishu..
She didn’t stop and rushed to the room. Reyansh was standing by the window and hearing the sound of the door opening he got back and sat on the bed.
Vaishu took the tablets and placed them before him with water.
Reyansh: You always give me only 3 tablets and why 4 today ?
Vaishu: You don’t believe me ? Alright let me call the doctor and you can confirm with him. It was him who has mentioned to give this tablet today.
Reyansh: What do you even speak Avi ?
Vaishu: I was just kidding Ansh. Now gulp the tablets and I have to get back to Ishu babies. I will switch of the lights and you have a peaceful sleep.
Reyansh gulped the tablet and Vaishu waited few minutes and saw him drifting into sleep. She closed the door and rushed back to the study and saw Mithun waiting for her.
Mithun: They are here already Vaishu.
Vaishu: Ok, go co operate with them and give them whatever they ask for.
Mithun: what about Rey and you ? And what about the diamonds ?
Vaishu: I have given sleeping pill for Reyansh and he won’t be awake any time soon so tell them Reyansh is sick and they can’t meet him. About me tell them that I m feeding Ishu babies and will meet them after I m done feeding the babies. Go quickly.
Mithun left the study and Vaishu locked the door from inside and sat on the couch fidgeting with her fingers.
Vaishu Mv: God, help me. I can’t let anything happen that might risk the life of Ansh. Show me a way out of this. Please.
Mithun reached the living and saw many officers waiting to be attended.
Mithun: Good evening officers. What got you here ?
Officer 1: We are here for a raid and request to meet Mr. Reyansh and ofcourse you too Mr. Mithun. Since this involves your reputation we have made our presence at this hours of the day so there won’t be any public attention unless we find something.
Mithun: First thing Reyansh is sick and you cannot meet him but I can extend my co operation to whatever you are intended to do tonight. Also Mrs. Vaishnavi will meet you but right now she is busy with her babies. She will join any time and about the reputation I suggest we call upon the media to know about this raid because there is nothing that we should worry about this raid. I didn’t know that ED has started working in secret too.
Officer 2: Please call up on all your staffs to assemble in one place and we shall start with our work. We don’t want to waste our time in any other discussions.
Mithun: What is the hurry ? Hand over the papers to me first and how many officials are here because you should have an idea how many days it might take for you to complete the raid in the manor.
One of the officers gave a file to Mithun which had the papers for permission to raid Rey’s manor. Glancing through the pages Mithun sat casually looking at them.
Officer 3: We will not take much time and search only certain rooms and areas of the manor.
Mithun: Looks like you have come with plans and can you let me know the brain behind this plan of searching only certain rooms and areas when you the permission for the whole manor ?
Officer: You can’t waste our time Mr. Mithun. Co operate with us and we shall finish the raid before the dawn.
Mithun: What are we waiting for ? Go ahead and tell me which room do you want to start with first. Recollect the correct room which the person fed in your mind or you might not get what you wanted.
Officer 1: We will search Mr. Reyansh’s room and his study first and it will be your room next. Shall we start with ?
Mithun: Go ahead and search mine and Reyansh’s room first. Am I sure the person must have gave you a mind map of the directions that would take you the rooms who wanted to search. As far the study Mrs. Vaishnavi is in the room with the babies and you can search there once she is out of it.
Officer 4: But you can’t keep us waiting so call her out this instant and we need to search it.
Mithun: Which law says that a mother cannot feed her baby just because you wanted to raid the room she is in ?
Officer 2: Who feeds their babies in a study ?
Mithun: Her home, her rooms, her babies who are you decide the place for her to feed the babies? You will have to wait until she comes out on her own. Also make sure you don’t make any noise that might disturb Reyansh from his sleep.
Mithun led the officers to Reyansh room and showed his own room to some officials while two stood out of the study waiting for Vaishu to come out. Mithun sat on the couch and watched Reyansh sleeping and the officers were doing their work in the closet.
Officer: How come he sleeps inspite of this noise ?
Mithun: Didn’t I tell you he is sick and is sleeping under the effects of medicines.
Mithun gave the documents for all the money and jewels that was in the closet. They came out with all the documents to the living not wanting to disturb Reyansh and Mithun started giving relevant details to every document that was taken from Reyansh’s room.
Lakshman was giving his support to whichever details was known to him.
Vaishu came out with Ishaan and Ishika in her hand. The two officers stopped her and took the toys from Ishaan and Ishika’s hand.
Vaishu: Why do you take the plush from the babies ?
Mithun arrived right in time and took Ishaan from her.
Officer: We cannot allow anything out of this room unless we complete our search.
Vaishu: Go ahead..
They tore open the plush and checked for anything in it. Seeing their favourite plush being ripped Ishu babies started crying. Vaishu and Mithun started rocking them and reached the living leaving the officers to search the study.
Asha served coffee to all the officers and to Vaishu and Mithun too who were chatting as if there was nothing serious happening in the manor. Mithun was tensed about the diamond in the study but kept a cool posture and sipped the coffee.
The officers in the study turned the study upside down ripping the couch, breaking the furniture but they found nothing.
Vaishu: Asha maa can you lay Ishu babies next to Reyansh. I don’t want them to turn fussy looking at so many people.
Asha and one of the maid carried Ishu babies to Reyansh’s room and laid them next to him.
Vaishu and Mithun were yawning as they watched the officers moving around the rooms and in between disturbing Mithun asking for proofs and details. Vaishu dozed off completely and woke up when she felt a pat on her shoulder.
She opened the eyes and saw Mithun waking her up.
Vaishu: What Mithun bro, why do you wake me up now ? Its too early and let me sleep for some more time.
Mithun: hahaha Vaishu officers are waiting for you..
Vaishu sat straight and saw the officers were seated with a gloomy face which made her smirk.
Vaishu: What did you find so far and how long will it take for you to complete this drama ?
Officer 2: We are not doing any drama Mrs. Vaishnavi. This is our job and we are done. Thank you for your co operation. Here is the report for your reference.
Vaishu: What about the damages you have caused to our home ? Who will pay for it ?
Officer 1 : That is not our job and you may get in contact with our higher official regarding that.
Mithun: Ohh I see. Take my message to him that we will meet him and the person who operates him very soon.
All the officers left the manor and few minutes later the guards came in and Mithun yawned leisurely at them.
Mithun: Now who has arrived ? Arghhh I feel damn sleepy. Still let them in and we shall get over this.
The guards nodded their head and few minutes later the chief secretary of the opposition party and Lavanya entered the living.
