Recap: Mithun get Leela and Sugumaran chased away from the old age home. Reyansh ask Vaishu to go on a date with him.

Reyansh, Vaishu, Mithun and Kajal were having dinner in the lawn chatting about the incidents from the airport. Though Vaishu laughed out Kajal could see the weary look she gave every now and then. Reyansh just hummed and only listened to their conversations but his eyes were on his Vaishu constantly. Kajal refrained from talking anything that Reyansh was kept away from.
Vaishu and Kajal sauntered back inside home and Mithun saw Reyansh still looking at Vaishu’s disappearing figure.
Mithun: What have you thought of doing ? I seriously suggest you to meet a therapist Rey. Things cannot go on like this.
Reyansh: No doctors or therapist can cure me. Vaishu and muffins are my only therapy and I will get well soon.
Mithun: Have you planned to fix things between you two ?
Reyansh: I asked her for a hot chocolate date like we used to have back then but she hasn’t replied yet.
Mithun: She will come around.
Reyansh nodded his head and Mithun returned to his room while Reyansh waited for Vaishu. Two hours he waited with all hopes patiently looking at the pathway. His lips twitched when he saw Vaishu walking to him with a shawl draped around her body.
Vaishu: Shall we have the date in the room ?
Reyansh: Sure go ahead and I will be back soon.
Vaishu nodded and Reyansh entered the kitchen and quickly made two mugs of hot chocolate. He sauntered to the room and saw Vaishu seated on the couch looking at Ishu babies. Passing a mug to her he sat opposite to her. A few minutes they stayed in silence and sipped the hot chocolate.
Reyansh: You remember the rules of our date ? We don’t hide anything between us. We used to be transparent.
Vaishu: hmmm. I remember.
Reyansh: How are you Avi ?
Vaishu: How do I look ?
Reyansh: I can see you are physically exhausted Avi. That is not what I was asking for. I know you are stressed and I m the sole reason for it but I just wanted to know …. you know..
Vaishu: You want to listen to the truth or the lies ?
Reyansh: We never lied to each other Avi.
Vaishu: I m not fine Ansh but I m fine.
Vaishu ambled to the balcony with Reyansh following her. Leaning on the railing she watched the moon and he watched her.
Reyansh: Avi, we haven’t talked anything other than muffins until this day. We need to speak for things to get better.
Vaishu: As mush as I agree that you are right but we can’t do that now especially when you are not ready for that physically and mentally. We have lot of time Ansh so don’t worry.
Reyansh: No Avi, I will be fine. We need to do this for us.
Vaishu: If you had a power to undo something in your life then what could it be ?
Reyansh: I would have stopped my parents from leaving home the day they got into the accident. If they would have been alive then I would have not lived a disgusting life. They would have controlled me and I would have not ruined you that night.
Vaishu: But you would have not got me and Ishu babies in your life then ? May be your mother would have found some one for you in life and you would have been happy by now instead of living in guilt.
Reyansh: You are my destiny Avi, my soul mate. I still believe its my mother and the god who got you in my life so she would have definitely got you in life or we would have met one or the other way instead of me ruining you, then meeting you by accident, falling in love with you and muffins, getting married and finally getting to know muffins are my blood.
If we had met in other circumstances then I would have still been head over heels for you like I am now. Also I would have been by your side all the time when you were carrying our babies. I would have pampered you with all my love. I would have taken care of all your cravings. I would have massaged your feet when they were swollen. Most of all I would have been in the labor ward holding your hand when you gave birth to our babies. But see what happened in reality. You were all alone suffering in pain with no proper food. You were walking on the road with no one to care for you.
Vaishu: It was not your fault Ansh. I warned you already about my bad luck. If you had left me on the road then may be you could have not been suffering today like this.
Reyansh: Shut up Avi. What would have happened to you and muffins ? I truly believe in god now because he got me you in my life though he did a little late and in the wrong way. You and our babies are my life Avi. I m dying out of guilt because of my own deeds and I hurt you too because of it. You are nothing but an angel to me.
Vaishu: May be our fate is cursed that we should not be happy for long. Now that everything has happened what should we do now ?
Reyansh: Avi, do you think I would have forced myself on you or be any other girl on that night if I was in my conscious state ? I m not justifying my life style by any means but do you think I would have done that ?
Vaishu: If I were in your life or not but I know you will never do anything like that Ansh.
Reyansh: Do you hate me Avi ?
Vaishu: Whatever could have happened between us but you are a part of me and Ishu babies and I can never hate you. Hating is you is hating myself and Ishu babies. How will I do that ?
Reyansh: I love you Avi.
Vaishu: I love you Ansh.
They smiled at each other and returned back to room closing the door of the balcony. Reyansh sat on the bed and caressed Ishika and Ishaan’s hair placing a kiss on their forehead.
Vaishu: Ansh….
Reyansh turned to Vaishu who was sitting on the bed which they used to share. She was gulping hard and not meeting his eyes trying hard to say something.
Reyansh: you can ask me anything Avi.
Vaishu: What if Mithun bro had not stopped you from shooting yourself that day in the office ?
Reyansh got down from the bed and moved to the teapoy. He poured a glass of water and looked at Vaishu who was waiting for his answer.
Reyansh: Sure I would have been dead.
Vaishu’s eyes were wide as saucers and she gasped closing her mouth in shock yet he could see the anger in those eyes.
Vaishu: And you thought me and your muffins could have sustained this life without you ?
Reyansh: I m sorry Avi. I will forever be grateful to him for stopping me that day. I would have not been in peace if I had left you and our babies alone. I was not in my right mind and I had no control on myself because of the extreme stress due to the guilt. The thought that you will hate after knowing the truth alone was enough for me to give up the life but then I realized it would be better to live with your hate for what I did to you then dying giving you more pain and leaving you alone. I cannot let Ishaan become another Reyansh without a father in his life. I want to be an example for my children of how a man should and should not live his life.
He gulped the water and returned to the bed laying next to Ishika.
Vaishu: Promise me you will never think of that ever again. I will never forgive you even if you had thought of it anytime again.
Reyansh: Promise Avi. I will never think of that again. I have become so selfish now and want to live Avi, with you and our babies. I have too many dreams to live this life with you and I know you have dreams too. I will do anything for our dreams to come true.
Vaishu just bobbed her head and watched him smiling at Ishu babies.
4 days later:
Vaishu and Kajal got ready early for the day and did the pooja as it was the day of the election results. Mithun reached the living and saw the girls indulged in a serious conversation about the latest lip shade Kajal had bought.
Mithun: Color is good but doesn’t taste like the one you use regularly.
Vaishu: Ewwww, get lost Mithun bro.
Mithun laughed throwing his head back on looking at her reaction. Vaishu threw cushions on both of them when Kajal joined him.
Vaishu: I will be with Reyansh and babies in the room. Let me know once the results are out. Later we can inform Reyansh only about the results and nothing else.
Mithun and Kajal hummed to her words and she left them alone and reached the room. Reyansh and Ishu babies were still asleep after the long play time they had in the early morning hours.
Once they were awake and ready for the day they decided to watch a cartoon movie and entered the home theatre. They sat with Ishu babies seated between them in the baby seat. They were so lost in the movie with Ishu babies enjoying their favourite Lion king but got disturbed when Mithun and Kajal barged in screaming of the winning the elections.
Vaishu gave a gentle smile and was crushed in a hug by Kajal. Mithun and Reyansh hified and they shared sweets to celebrate the victory but Kajal was stubborn on bursting the crackers. Vaishu who also fond of bursting crackers but never got to enjoy that after her parents death stood up immediately to follow them but stopped in her tracks and looked at Reyansh.
Reyansh knew her enthusiasm from the way her eyes sparked on hearing crackers so he smiled at her.
Reyansh: Don’t stop yourself from enjoying anything for the sake of anyone Avi. Go have fun and I will be with muffins. We will complete the movie and I will feed them lunch.
Vaishu smiled and ran out of the room. When they reached the porch guards were waiting with the crackers already.
Vaishu: How did you get the crackers so soon ?
Mithun: I know what would be the results and I was sure Kajal would love to burst crackers to celebrate it so I had arranged them last night.
They started bursting the crackers and for the first time Vaishu tried to lit the 10000 wala but got scared and backed off. She couldn’t hide her disappointment for not being able to do it and refused when Kajal and Mithun tried to help her by holding her hands.
Vaishu Mv: The last time my father was with me and now I will wait until my Ansh is healed and we will burst as many crackers with him by my side. I will bury my face in his chest when I feel scared of the sound.
She returned to the kitchen and saw Chef was preparing lunch and Asha was preparing lunch for Ishu babies. She waited in the dining watching the news until everyone arrived for lunch and switched off the TV. Mithun and Kajal arrived first and got seated on either side of Vaishu.
Vaishu: Don’t you think you should get seated next to each other instead of having me in middle. I m warning you better don’t spoil my eyes or ears.
Vaishu heard Ishaan’s voice and saw Reyansh entering the dining with Ishika and Ishaan on either side of his shoulder holding his hair.
Mithun and Reyansh made them sit on their seats and Reyansh sat opposite to Vaishu.
Reyansh: Did you enjoy Vaishu ?
Kajal: What ? No, she was scared and left without bursting even one. Me and Mithun alone had fun.
Reyansh looked at Vaishu who was looking at him. Both had their eyes locked and could not avert from each other.
Reyansh Mv: Few days Avi, I will hold your hand and we shall fulfill your wish. I will hold you in my embrace when you feel scared of the sound.
Vaishu Mv: I know Ansh. You will fullfil my wishes. I m waiting for that day.
Their trance was broken when Ishika screamed and they saw she was trying to take the sipper which had moved away from her when she attempted to pick it.
Ishika: Appa. maaa
Reyansh quickly gave her the sipper and she started drinking water. She even started crying when he retracted the sipper.
Vaishu: She won’t have food now and will have only water.
Reyansh: I will handle her so don’t worry.
He paused his eating and tried to distract Ishika by trying to feed the doll that was placed on the dining table. Ishika held his hand and he started feeding her just like that.
Mithun: I m booking the whole day tomorrow to play with Ishu babies. I need to teach them to call me mama (uncle ). I m have been waiting for so long for that.
His words died when he heard Ishaan calling him mama. Mithun started dancing leaving his food and Ishaan clapped his hands looking at Mithun who now kissed Ishaan’s cheek. They had a wonderful time together having lunch.
At night once Reyansh was asleep Vaishu knocked on Mithun’s room who opened in a haste followed by Kajal.
Mithun: Everything fine Vaishu ?
Kajal: Is Rey fine Vaishu ?
Vaishu: Nothing happened. Calm down both of you. I came here to remind you something. I need to visit Lavanya tomorrow in secret. Plan for it.
Mithun: Right now she is under the custody of CBI so I need time but I will plan for it. But what about Rey ?
Vaishu: I told you plan for it which means considering handling him too. He should not be aware of it.
Kajal winked at Vaishu which meant the plan is already on. Vaishu hugged Kajal and returned to room waiting for the sun to rise.
