Recap: Yamini tells about her thoughts on Vimal to Sid who later finds Vimal and Nivedha together.

Sid entered Yamini’s room in the evening and saw her ready in a yellow kurti and leggings but her face was all that mattered to him which was void of all emotions.
Sid: Yami, there is no problem like you were scared of. Everything is alright.
Yami: Did you speak to him ? Is he is really happy with this marriage ?
Sid: You trust me right ?
Yam: What question do you even ask me Sid. I trust you more than I do myself. I know you will not let anything bad happen to me.
Sid: Good then keep smiling and there is no problem in this marriage. I promise your marriage will happen and you will be happy in your life. I want to see you smiling in all the photos. Now come on give me that witch smile.
Yami smacked him and he pulled her out of the room to the hall downstairs where everyone was waiting for her. Vijaya made Yamini sit on the diwan sofa and plates of haldi was placed before her. Madhu took the flower gajra and tied to her wrist. Vijaya was first to apply haldi on her cheeks, legs and arms followed by all the ladies. Sid was happy to see her finally smiling after three days. Vimal was not allowed as the groom was forbidden to see the bride during the ritual.
Finally Vijaya called Sid and he took the haldi and applied on her cheeks and in turn Yami took the haldi from his hand and applied on his face. Vijaya informed Yamini to get bathed and change into the costume she had left in her room.
Everyone was seated having sweets and tea as they waited for Yamini. After an hour Yamini came down the stairs holding her skirt. Sid who was scrolling through the mobile froze looking at her dressed in a green half saree styled with big jhumkas, bangles, anklets and her hair adorned with jasmine flowers and the highlight was her face that had the glow from the haldi. For the first time he was lost of words looking at her. His trance was broken when Madhu called him to bring the plates of bangles that was placed inside the pooja room.
All the ladies sat with Yamini in the centre and Vijaya and Madhu on either side. The ladies were busy looking athe colorful bangles and were wearing it watching with their dress. Yamini was wearing a few and she showed her hands which had colorful bangles to Sid and he showed a super sign to her and clicked her photo in his mobile.
Except Yamini rest of them went to Sid’s home to do the haldi ritual for Vimal. Sid entered his room and saw him busy on a call and it didn’t fail that Sid heard Nivedha’s name as soon as he entered but he pushed aside and called him down for the ritual. Vimal nodded his head and reached the hall where everything was kept ready.
One by one applied haldi on him and Sid watched Vimal’s face which had no reaction to all the teasings around him. When it was his turn Sid took the haldi and applied on him slowly.
Sid: Seems like you are lost in some deep thoughts. What are you thinking or may be you are thinking about the girl who has taken your heart.
Vimal looked at Sid whose words were dipped sarcasm and waited for him to speak further without replying but Sid smiled at him.
Sid: I meant are you thinking about Yami ? You are getting married to her in two days. Do you remember ? Did you buy any gift for her ?
Vim: I will buy for her tomorrow…
Sid: I thought you would have done shopping today and bought some gift already.
Vim: I was busy in some office work so couldn’t do.
Sid: Ohh, don’t work too much and get tired already. you are the groom remember bro..
That night after everyone was retired to bed Sid knocked on Vimal’s room and waited for him to open. Vimal opened the door and saw Sid standing with arms across his chest.
Sid: I have something to talk very urgently hope you don’t mind now…
Vimal moved aside and let Sid enter his room and they sat facing each other.
Sid: I m not wasting anymore time as it is already late. I can you see being distracted lately. Are you really happy with this marriage ?
Vim: why do you ask all of sudden…the marriage is in two days…everything is fine.
Sid: Vimal, I saw you today with Nivedha. I got to know that her father proposed marriage between you both. You are more mature than me and its your right to live your life the way you want and choose whoever you want unless it is too late…
Vimal did not speak and turned his face away from Sid which gave the answers Sid wanted to.
Sid: Good, I got the answers. So I want you to talk to our parents and let them know what you want. About Yami, I know you will be worried of leaving at the wedding altar but you need not worry. I can take care of her. I will find a right person for her even if it is within the next 24 hours. I will do anything for her.
Sid left Vimal’s room and reached the terrace looking at the moon.
Sid Mv: God, please give me patience and courage to handle everything. I ask you nothing but to keep Yami happy always. I can do anything for that…anything..just give me the courage I need …
On the otherhand Yamini was in her room crying holding her knees to her chest. She could see the silhouette of the person from the next home and she didn’t need to confirm who it was. She could identify him even with her eyes closed and just feel him around her. She stood by the window and watched him lost in thoughts and tears slipped her eyes.
Yami slid down the wall and cried and cried until there were no more tears from her eyes. She opened the gallery in her mobile and saw Sid’s photo and kissed him.
Yam: Why could you not see the love from my eyes Sid…I was so helpless and scared of letting you know my love for you. Good I did not do that stupidity or I would have lost you forever. Atleast you will be my friend. I thought one day you will feel something for me but now I lost you even before I got you when you proposed my marriage with your brother. I agreed this marriage in the thought that atleast seeing me with him you will feel something and realize my love but I was wrong. You were so stubborn on keeping me as your friend only.
How long should I act Sid ? You always understand everything without even I speak but now why don’t you understand my love. Why can’t you understand from my words that I don’t want to marry your brother ? Its paining Sid…a lot….
She slept crying as much as she could and locked her heart leaving the fate to decide her destiny.
Morning Madhu and Viswa were having their tea and Sid was looking at the stairs waiting for Vimal to show up for the day. After a long time Vimal came down dressed formally and stood before his family who had shocked expression.
Madh: Where are you going getting ready so early ?
Vim: Mom, I have got something important caught up and I will be back tomorrow morning or the least by today evening.
Sid: Are you running away from your marriage ?
Madh: Shut up Sid, don’t speak negative and why will he run away from the marriage when he himself has agreed to the marriage ?
Sid:I was just kidding maa relax…Marriage will happen for sure don’t you worry about that.
Vis: This is not some kids play Vimal. tomoroww is your reception and the next morning marriage. Now here you are ready to go out ?
Vim: You know me well and I won’t do anything unless it is urgent and that would be good for all of us.
Sid: Mom, let him go. If he is ready to do good for everyone then let him do it.
Vim: sorry maa..sorry paa. please understand that I won’t do anything that would destroy your happiness but whatever it would be only for the good for all…for all
He did not wait for their reply and left the home and Sid followed him but stopped when he saw Yamini entering his home which made Vimal stop at his tracks. Sid saw Vimal opening his bag and taking a gift and moved to know what was happening. He stood next to Yami and held her hand which brought a smile on Vimal’s face.
Vim: Yamini, this is a gift for you and I want you to open this only on the wedding night. I will be back soon. Take care both of you…
Yam: thank you and you too take care..
With that Vimal left the home and Sid took Yamini inside the home.
