Chapter 73

Rishi was looking at the screen of the laptop the hacker was using to trace Aadhi’s mobile but it was never switched on. He was trying alternatively with Yuvraj’s number too but the result turned out to be the same.

The whole family couldn’t sleep and stayed up all night eagerly to hear something positive about Aadhi. They heard a knock and saw the inspector at the door with Shruthi next to him. Rishi rose to his feet and gritting his teeth he sauntered to them but before he could reach Shruthi, she stepped behind the inspector out of fear.

Vimal and Raghavan pulled him yet Rishi was raging to kill anyone who could have possibly hurt his Aadhu. With great difficulty Vimal, Sudhir and Raghavan pulled Rishi back and let the inspector and Shruthi to walk in.

Inspector: Mr. Rishi, we did our investigation with Ms. Shruthi and we even check all the places she went yesterday, we made a clean search at her place and even all her calls and messages were checked but she has nothing to do with the kidnap of your wife.

Vani: Rishi, why would you think Shruthi would have kidnapped Aadhi ?

Rishi: Because she has a history, a fucking history that me and my wife threw her out of our home when she tried to take adavantage of me being alone at home.

Everyone was shocked and even Shruthi herself was shocked that Rishi revealed the truth infront of everyone. She felt ashamed and cried silently unable to meet their eyes.

Rishi: I don’t want her to breathe for a minute more in my wife’s home. Get her away and please have someone watch her, I still don’t want to get away with your investigations until I get my wife.

The security knocked on the door and informed Rishi that there was a courier guy holding a envelop. Rishi immediately stormed out and saw a guy from the courier service holding a envelop. Rishi immediately got it from him and Inspector collected the details of the guy before letting him go.

Everyone watched Rishi looking at the envelop and Vimal took the envelop from him and tore open it.

Inspector: Mr. Vimal, read it loud for everyone to hear.

Vimal looked at Rishi and then bobed his head before he started reading the content in it.

” Dear Rishu,

I m sorry.. I know you would be worried looking for me but please don’t do it. I left on my own. I know I shouldn’t have done this but I don‘t feel the spark I wanted in my husband. Wish I met Yuvi even before I met you, he is everything I want in my man. He loves me truly, he cares for me, he respects me and he is not older like you. May be that is why we clicked instantly. I didn’t want to leave you heartbroken but I couldn’t let my child stay away from its father.

Hope you will find yourself in forgiving me one day.

I m sorry and I hope you will find the true love one day.

Vimal: what the fuck ? this could never be true, my sister is in so much love with Rishi and she could never do this.

Vani/ Kavitha: She could never do such thing, she is a gem.

Rishi started laughing like a maniac and everyone were shocked to see him like that. He sat on the couch with his arms stretched on the headrest and continued laughing throwing his headback.

Grandpa: Rishi, calm down. Aadhi would never do this.

Rishi: That is fucking insane grandpa, My Aadhu would never let me go away from her, she would cling to me like a baby and I would carry her all around our home. Whoever is playing this sick game will face the wrath of me. I will fucking show hell to him.

Rishi stormed to his room and shut the door with a bang. He slid down the door and sobbed looking at their photos.

Rishi: I m sorry Aadhu, I know you would be waiting for me. I will come to you soon love, very soon.

At the abandoned bungalow Aadhi sat on the floor tired from all the exhaustion. She looked at Karan who was listening to a song from his mobile. He turned off his mobile and looked at her with a smirk.

Karan: The letter would been delivered to your husband by now so aren’t you worried that your husband will be devastated after reading every word in it ?

Aadhi: He is my husband who loves me truly, he knows me more than I know myself. He will come for me, he will save me.

Karan: Keep dreaming. I will take my leave now. I don’t think you will be feeling hungry since I fed you last night so I will be back at night with dinner to keep you alive.

Aadhi turned away caring less about watching him leave. She made a silent pray to god that Rishi would find her. Her whole body ached from sitting constantly and her shoulders, arms ached like hell from being tied to her back all the while. Tears rolled down her cheeks and she slowly laid on her sides and closed her eyes.

Aadhi: Stay with me baby, daddy will come for us. He will save us, you are Rishu and Aadhu’s symbol of love, you need to be strong like your mom and dad. You know how excited was your daddy on knowing your existence ? He would bring the world at your feet and spoil you with all his love. He will shower you all the love that he was deprived of in his childhood. He has lot of plans to do with you. He wants to bath you, feed you, he wants to play with you and if you both ever do any mischief he wants me to punish you both. Do you know how I would punish baby ? I will kiss you both, I will keep kissing until you both promise to stop your mischiefs. Stay strong baby for me and your daddy, please… we both love you.

Aadhi closed her eyes fell in a deep slumber as tears washed her cheeks.

Rishi stood under the shower with blood shot eyes and quickly he wore a simple shirt and pant to leave in search of Aadhi. He touched the photo of them on the vanity and kissed Aadhi with a smile. He heard footsteps and saw Manjari at the threshold. Before she could enter the room he stepped out and locked the room before turning his attention to her.

Rishi: Do you need something Manju ?

Manjari: Bro, I know you are hurting and I couldn’t see you like this. I m sorry bro.

Rishi: Its ok, I m fine and I will find Aadhi very soon.

Manjari: Bro, inspector checked with Vimal and he confirmed it is indeed Aadhi’s handwriting. She wrote the letter and she chose to leave you. I think you should calm down and accept the reality she threw at your face.

Rishi: You mean she left me for some other guy ?

Manjari: That is what she has written and didn’t you say that Yuvraj’s friends too confessed that he loved Aadhi ?

Rishi bobed his head and arrived at the living with Manjari following him. He cleared his throat gaining all their attention.

Rishi: I think you should all go back to your homes and I will let you all know when I find my wife. Mom, please take your daughter with you, she needs to rest.

Manjari: Bro, please..

Rishi: Stop it, I don’t want to hear a work against my wife. I don’t care if you are my sister or not, I will not hesitate to slit your throat so shut your mouth.

Rishi grabbed the letter that was on the teapoy and read it himself. The corner of his lips twitched but he stopped from smiling and gestured Vimal and Inspector to follow him. He looked at the stamp and read the location from where it was posted.

Rishi: The letter with ” Rishu ” and ended up with ” Your Aadhu “, she was forced to write the letter.

Rishi was about to continue but before he could say something Inspector received a call from the police station.

Inspector: We need to reach the police station. Yuvraj’s family have arrived to file a complaint about him missing.

Rishi: You please go ahead,  I need to be somewhere very urgently or you could even take Vimal with you.

Vimal: No, I will accompany you to search for Aadhi, let them file the complaint and Inspector can take over that.

Rishi: Inspector, I will call you if I need some information.

Inspector drove away in his jeep and Rishi along with Vimal got in his car.

Vimal: Where do we set our search now ?

Rishi passed the letter to him with a smile and Vimal was confused on seeing him.

Vimal: Rishi, please be clear. I m not in a right mind to understand anything.

Rishi: Aadhi has written the letter and she has given the clue to reach other. Write down the letters that are in bold and you will know the clue.

Vimal immediately did as he said and read it as ” Abandon bungalow “

Vimal: This is fucking awesome, now we need to find the list of abandoned bungalows. We could inform the Inspector too.

Rishi: Vimal, we are not informing anyone. We never doubted Yuvraj and today morning we receive a letter to distract our mind and to doubt Yuvraj so someone is watching us. Yuvraj would have called her and they were kidnapped together. The person should be the dumbest villain of my life.

Vimal: But who knew about your customers and as well as Aadhi and her friends.

Rishi: I have a guess and you should be knowing too but right now, we shall head to the courier office to find any clue of the person who posted this letter to me and at the same time you call Sudhir and your PA and friends to find the abandoned bungalows around that particular area or district. I swear to find my Aadhu today.

Rishi pressed the accelerator and drove towards the courier office meanwhile Vimal took over the job assigned to him. Rishi opened the dashbaord and picked a notepad and pen which Aadhi used to scribble and draw when she felt bored. Vimal grabbed the notepad and started writing down the address of the abandoned bungalows.

Vimal: Thank the god Rishi, there are only two bungalows in the locality though they are far from each other. Its on the coastal road.

Rishi parked the car and together they entered the courier office and met the manager. Rishi explained everything about his wife missing and even showed the FIR copy to the manager seeking his help.

The Manager checked the courier slip that was attached with the envelop and guided Rishi and Vimal to the person who had signed the envelop upon receiving it for despatch. They got to know the time the person had been at the office and started checking the CCTV footages. the person identified the person and immediately Rishi clicked his photo his mobile and Vimal did too.

Rishi sent the photo to the Inspector to check if he has any criminal history and then they drove to the first address of the abandoned bungalow.

Rishi Mv: I m coming for you baby… please be safe…

Meanwhile at the police station, Inspector entered inside and was greeted by Rithivika and Harish along with Rithvika’s family.

Harish: Hello Inspector, I m Harish and she is my fiance. I was out of station and got to know today morning about Yuvraj and Aadhi missing. I m here to file a complaint about Yuvraj’s missing.

Inspector: Today there was a letter sent to Mr. Rishi by his wife stating that she left willingly with Yuvraj but Mr. Rishi has denied that his wife would never do such thing.

Rithvika: Its true Yuvraj fell in love with her but he stopped his feelings and accepted her as his best friend. We know her and she was there for our engagement too. They could never do such thing. Someone has kidnapped and framed them.

Inspector: Do yo suspect someone ?

Harish: Both Rishi’s family and our family have one common person who has swore to ruin our happpiness. I m not sure about Rishi but I don’t have enemies other than that one person.

Inspector: Please be clear and tell me whom do you suspect ?

Harish: Manjari Raghavan………….
