Rishi and Vimal arrived at the first location and Rishi parked the car at a safer distance from the bungalow. They got down and Rishi opened the trunk of his car and picked a pistol that was kept hidden beneath the trunk mat.
Rishi: This is licensed one and I always had this for safety purpose but never got to use all these years.
Vimal: Dad gave me one too but I have never touched it yet.
Rishi picked another pistol and threw in Vimal’s hand and gave instructions to use it. They hid the pistol on the back of their waist and hid behind a tree to see if there were any men or guards around the bungalow but on seeing no one they rushed through the gates. The main door was locked so Rishi and Vimal ran on opposite sides to reach the backside of the bungalow at the same time to see if there was a way to enter inside. They reached the back side and Rishi signalled Vimal to turn their mobiles into silent mode.
Rishi saw a pipe and started climbing it followed by Vimal. They reached the terrace and Rishi just dusted his palms on his shirt ignoring the scratches and saw a door which could lead them inside the bungalow. Rishi placed his ears on the door to hear any noise from inside but on hearing nothing he backed with huff.
Rishi: I don’t think there would be too many people inside considering if Aadhu is kept captive here. Now we don’t have a choice other than breaking the door. Either you break the door or be ready to shoot anyone who would be waiting for us from the other side. I will take care of the consequences.
Vimal: I will break the door.
Rishi bobed his head and Vimal passed the gun in Rishi’s hand who stood ready with both the guns in his hand. Vimal picked a iron rod and started breaking the door. Vimal stopped for a moment hearing footsteps from the other side but Rishi nudged him to go ahead. With a final hit Vimal broke the door and they saw two men standing with wooden logs in their hand and two more men holding a cleaver in their hand.
Rishi screamed Vimal who duck down and Rishi shot two men on their arms. Vimal rolled over and kicked the men who were holding cleaver and they fell rolling down the stairs. Rishi kicked the men who were screaming in pain and hit the pistol on ther head knocking them out. He removed their shirt and tied their hands to the railing of the staircase and rushed down the stairs. He saw Vimal fighting the men and kicked a men from behind. He pulled the trigger and shot the other man on his knees. On seeing this, the only left out man kneeled before them and raised his hands.
Rishi: Now I m very sure that my wife is here so tell me how many more men are here in this bungalow ?
Man: Sir, two more men, one outside the room and one man is inside the room. Its third room on the right in the first floor
Rishi: Vimal, tie them and we shall handle them later, now lets go find Aadhu.
Vimal quickly tied them and Rishi hit them on their head too and they descended the stairs. They stopped by the last stair and Rishi peeked to the right and saw a man holding a gun and he was alert waiting for them after he heard the commotion.
Vimal yanked a gun from Rishi who counted his fingers, on three they stood out and shot him on his arm and leg. Rishi rushed to him and yanked the pistol from himbefore he slapped him. Rishi didn’t hesitate and kicked the door open and saw a man holding a long knife.
Rishi: Give up and kneel if you want to be alive or I won’t think twice to shoot you.
The man gulped and dropped the knife and knelt before Rishi. Vimal slapped him and they entered the room looking for Aadhi but they saw Yuvraj lying on the floor in an unconscious state. Rishi grit his teeth and kick and slapped the man with all his frustrations.
Rishi: Where is my wife ? Bloody bastard, tell me where is my wife ?
Man: Sir, she is kept captive in a bungalow that is little away from here, this man was too hard to handle and he tried to escape and save that girl so we shifted him here separately and kept him sedated.
Rishi and Vimal knocked him out and locked all the men in a single room with their hands and legs tied. They carried Yuvaraj to the car and drove to the other bungalow. Rishi was hitting the steering in rage that Aadhi wasn’t there. Vimal shut his eyes for a fleeting moment to the speed Rishi was driving and he didn’t fail to notice Rishi wiping the tears with his sleeve. They reached the other bungalow and Rishi stormed out with Vimal tailing behind him.
Vimal: Rishi, hold on, we don’t know how many are here guarding the bungalow. Please stop and we shall sneak and find Aadhi.
Rishi: No Vimal, I can’t wait a minute to get Aadhu, I m ready to kill anyone who would cross my path.
Rishi entered the premises and this time he directly started breaking the main door and shot the lock to open it. They entered inside and started searching the rooms by one and moved on to the first floor but they couldn’t find Aadhi. Finally he stopped by a room that was at the corner in the second floor and kicked open it. He saw Karan standing and Aadhi lying on the floor and he knew she was unconscious too. Without a second thought Rishi shot Karan on his shoulder and started beating the shit of him after he saw the condition of Aadhi.
He then moved to Aadhi and scooped her in his arms and kissed her forehead and cheeks as tears rolled down his cheeks.
Rishi: Aadhu… baby.. open your eyes, I m here love, please opene your eyes.
Vimal: Rishi, lets get her to the hospital.
Rishi carried her out and Vimal pulled Yuvraj to the passenger seat and Rishi settled in the back seat with Aadhi. Vimal got in the driver seat and started driving to the nearest hospital. Rishi called the inspector and informed him about the men being locked up in the bungalow.
Vimal stopped the car by a nearby hospital and Rishi carried Aadhi in his arms screaming for help. A gurney was brought and Rishi laid Aadhi on it and he called help for Yuvraj too. Rishi and Vimal stood outside the emergency and Vimal informed the family about Aadhi.
Vimal pressed Rishi’s shoulder and hugged him on seeing his body trembling.
Rishi: Aadhu.. and our baby..
Vimal: They will be fine Rishi, stay strong man..nothing will happen to them.
20 minutes later the doctor walked out and Rishi immediately rushed to him.
Doctor: Your wife is fine except for her weakness, Looks like she was starved and she fainted out of exhaustion and she would wake up anytime now.
Rishi: Doctor, she is pregnant… our baby ?
Doctor: Baby is fine too, she will be shifted to the ward and make sure you feed her. The man is still unconscious but he is safe. He was sedated so he might take a while to wake up.
Rishi thanked the doctor and saw a nurse pulling the gurney and Aadhi laid unconscious on it. Rishi and Vimal held her hand on either side and she was shifted to a bed in a ward. Rishi called Yuvraj’s family and informed them about him. He sat next to Aadhi holding her hands and kept kissing her knuckles.
Vimal received call from his father about the families arrival and informed the ward details to him. In less than 5 minutes the door opened and both the families entered and Kavitha, Hari rushed to Aadhi and cried looking at her.
Rishi let go of Aadhi’s hand and gritting his teeth he marched to Manjari and slapped her with so much force that she fell on the floor holding her cheek. He once again stormed towards her and before he could slap her Raghavan and Kavitha stopped him and pulled Manjari away from him.
Raghavan: Rishi, what happened to you, why did you slap Manju ?
Rishi ignored his father and stood before Manjari with blood shot eyes, his mother tried to stop him but one glare she moved away.
Rishi: Why did you kidnap her ?
Everyone gasped on hearing his words but Rishi cared less and focused only Manjari who was gulping holding her swollen cheeks.
Manjari: Bro,
Rishi: Don’t call me that… I just need answer.. why did you kidnap her ?
Vimal called Rishi and he saw Aadhi waking up so he immediately rushed by her side and held her hand.
Rishi: Aadhu, baby.. please open your eyes..
Aadhi opened her eyes slowly and on seeing Rishi she hugged him and they cried together. Rishi wiped his tears before he cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears.
Rishi: Nothing to worry now Aadhu, you are safe, I got you..both you and our baby are safe.
Aadhi: Rishu, I was scared…I knew you would save me but I was scared for our baby..
Rishi: shhhh, calm down Aadhu, everything is over now. I m not leaving you alone anymore.
Vimal opened the food he ordered and started feeding her. Aadhi was gulping the food and everyone’s heart broke at the sight. Rishi fed her some juice in between and watched her eat the whole plate of food and lick her lips. He wiped her lips with his thumb and made her drink some water before he helped her sit leaning on the head board of the bed. She smiled at everyone and saw Manjari’s swollen cheeks. Before she could question there was a knock and Vimal opened the door.
The family saw Inspector entering inside followed by Harish and Rithvika.
Inspector: Mr. Harish has filed a complaint against Ms. Manjari, he suspects her hand in the kidnapping.
Rishi: you don’t need to doubt , she kidnapped both of them, arrest her..
Manjari: No… no..no.. I did nothing, you people are framing me to throw me out of your lives forever. I never did such thing.
Aadhi: Rishu, why would Manjari kidnap me ?
Rishi: She has to confess but I don’t think she will do. We gave her too much attention and care that she started dancing over our heads.
The door opened and Yuvraj entered with support of a nurse and Vimal immediately helped him to be seated on the couch. Harish and Rithvika rushed to his side and he smiled on seeing them.
Rishi: Yuvraj, are you ok ? you should rest now.
Yuvraj: I m fine, I have a lot to say. Aadhi would have not been kidnapped if .. I did not call her to meet me. I m sorry Aadhi.
Aadhi: You wanted me to meet you with Rishu so its not your fault that I came alone.
Rishi: What is that you wanted to discuss with us Yuvi ?
Yuvraj: I heard my sister and Harish bro talking about your sister Manjari, they suspected that she must be having some psychotic disorder. I spoke to Harish bro and got to everything she did in her life. He knew everything because she confessed everything to him. One of my friend’s brother is a psychologist so I discussed this with him and he told me some shocking revealations. He said these are the symptoms of someone who is suffering with Dependent Personality Disorder. Its a mental health condition characterized by excessive dependence on others for emotional and physical needs. People with DPD have a deep fear of abandonment, and may go to great lengths to avoid being alone.
Raghavan: What do you mean ? How could she suffering such disorder ?
Yuvraj: I heard about that too. It occurs because of various reasons like overprotective or authoritarian parenting, abuse, neglegence or genetics can be a reason too. She found Vimal who was loving and caring so she was completely dependant on him. I know what happened in Aadhi’s life so I know whatever she did to Aadhi and that was because she wanted Vimal’s attention only on her. She hated Aadhi because everyone loved her and she was getting more attention, love and care or that is what she thought. When there was a misunderstanding between her and Vimal bro, she met Harish bro and she became dependant on him because he cared for her. Now that she is all alone she could harm and go to any extent to get all the attention on her from Aadhi.
Inspector received a call and looked at Rishi and then at Manjari.
Inspector: The message was sent to the customer by Ms. Manjari. The sim card is in her mobile.
Rishi: Open your damn mouth and tell us why did you do this ? Don’t give me all the fucking DPD excuses. I did not drag you but otherwise I did everything because I knew you needed help. Vimal had called you to meet a psycologist but you turned deaf to all our words.
Harish: I fired her after 2 months because I knew she was mentally sick, I denied all her advances towards me. Finally I had to threatened her that I will reveal her family that she was forcing me.
Everyone gasped on hearing Harish’s words while Vimal stood calm and composed.
