Recap: Vikram kills Sam and Priyanka. Akash announce to take over Sana group of Business
****************
The media was ablaze with breaking headlines, Akash to take over Sana Groups. Every news channel flashed his name, every social media platform was buzzing with debates, speculations, and heated opinions. The public was in shock — how could someone outside the family claim the empire while Sahana, the rightful heir, was still present?
More than the takeover itself, the biggest topic of discussion was Vikram’s silence. The man known for his strategic brilliance had given no public response, and that silence screamed louder than any denial. The night was heavy with tension — long and uncertain for everyone involved.
At the AV Mansion, Akash gathered the board of directors around the grand conference table. With a smug smile, he addressed them confidently.
“I hope you all got the information of me taking over Sana Groups,” he said.
One of the directors raised a brow. “Sir, in what way do you think you can do this?”
“I have legal papers signed by the CEO nominating me as the legal CEO of the groups.”
The room fell into murmurs until another director spoke up. “Mr. Krishnan wouldn’t do that. How could we trust you?”
“I have the papers with me,” Akash replied sharply. “I want you all to support me in the business. Every one of you will be benefitted from this.”
“But Sahana is the legal heir,” someone pointed out firmly.
“I know,” Akash nodded. “But she can take over the business only if Mr. Krishnan is dead. Now the case is different. He has given the powers to me to run the business.”
A director frowned. “So why did you call us now?”
“Good question,” Akash smiled, leaning forward. “I want every one of you to stand by me tomorrow because Vikram will definitely make a move against this.”
There was silence, until one director muttered, “Maybe you don’t know him. If he is silent, then he is sure to hit louder. He has his eyes everywhere. We cannot stand in front of him.”
“Those who are scared can leave,” Akash sneered. “But remember, you will be thrown out after I take the business.”
“Where is our CEO?” another director asked, now visibly concerned.
“He is on a vacation,” Akash lied smoothly. “And you need not worry on it.”
“If you have a legal paper to take the business, then we will support,” a director finally said, breaking the tension.
“That’s good. You may all leave now,” Akash dismissed them confidently.
The directors slowly exited the AV Mansion, still unsure about the future.
Once alone, Akash’s father approached him, his face etched with concern. “Akash, I’m warning you. Stop all this. It’s for your own good.”
Akash turned sharply. “Dad, better stay out of my business.”
“You are my only son, Akash,” his father pleaded. “I don’t want to lose you because of your stupidity. We have a business of our own, and we can do it. Why do you want to do this?”
“Dad, Vikram has to pay me for taking her away from me,” Akash snapped.
“Don’t speak nonsense,” his father said sternly. “She is his wife now. Why don’t you move on from her?”
“I cannot!” Akash shouted, his voice cracking with obsession. “It was me who saw her first. I loved not only her but also her business. It would have been me, obviously, who could run her business if I got her married. But now everything is ruined. I lost her, but I have a chance of getting the business. So why do I leave it?”
His father’s voice was heavy with warning. “Do you think Vikram will spare you?”
Akash scoffed. “He has nothing to do in this. I checked all the papers. And moreover, Mr. Krishnan is under my custody, so he cannot make any move against me. All he will do is sit and watch me running his father-in-law’s business. He will be mocked by the public when I take over him.”
“You are underestimating him, Akash,” his father said quietly. “He is not even the bit of what you think of him.”
“Fine, Dad,” Akash huffed. “You just sit at home and save your life. I will meet you in the party tomorrow.”
His father looked confused. “What party?”
“I have arranged for a party and invited the business elites tomorrow.”
“You are insane!” his father exclaimed. “Why do you want to act even before you succeed?”
“Enough, Dad! You are eating my brain!” Akash shouted. “Just leave me to breathe in silence for some time.”
His father looked at him with sadness. “Do whatever you wish… You can’t be saved.”
Akash stormed out of the room, his rage burning brighter than ever.
At Vikram Mansion, the study room was dimly lit with the soft glow of a table lamp. Pugazh and Vikram were seated across from each other, reviewing the day’s developments.
“Rakshat is yet to call us,” Pugazh said, his fingers tapping anxiously on the table.
“He will call, don’t worry,” Vikram replied calmly. “Everything will go according to our plan.”
As if on cue, Pugazh’s phone rang. The screen flashed Rakshat’s name. He answered immediately.
“Yes, Raksha?”
“Uncle is safe. We are heading back,” Rakshat confirmed over the line.
Pugazh cut the call and looked at Vikram, who gave him a knowing smile.
“Dad is safe, am I right?” Vikram asked.
“Yeah, they are heading back,” Pugazh nodded, the tension lifting slightly from his shoulders.
Just then, Vikram’s phone rang. It was an unknown number. He picked it up, and a familiar voice spoke on the other end — one of the directors from Sana Groups.
“Sir… Akash called us to meet him,” the director said.
“What did he say?” Vikram asked.
“He said he had some legal papers signed by Mr. Krishnan to hand over the business to him. He wanted us to support him. Everyone agreed in his presence, but a few are worried about the business.”
“Good,” Vikram replied smoothly. “Inform those who are worried to speak to my PA.”
He ended the call and walked to his room. There, he saw Sana sitting quietly on the couch, lost in thought.
“Sana, aren’t you sleeping?” he asked gently.
“Vikram… where is Dad?” she asked, her voice heavy with worry.
“Dad is safe. Tomorrow he will be at home. Rakshat is accompanying him.”
“Thank you, Vikram. I was scared of losing him.”
“Don’t worry. I’m here with you. I will not let anything happen that will make you worry. Don’t ever say thanks to me.”
“Then what shall I do?” she asked with a soft smile.
“Anything,” he said.
Sana leaned forward, kissed his cheek, and hugged him tightly.
The early morning news exploded with updates about Sana Groups. Reporters swarmed the entrance of the headquarters, eager to capture anyone entering or leaving the premises. Cameras flashed, and the buzz was deafening.
Akash, through his PA, had informed the media that he would address them after taking charge of the business. The air was thick with anticipation.
Back at Vikram Mansion, Sana and Vikram were getting ready for the day.
“Vikram, are you ready?” Sana called out, adjusting her dress in the mirror.
“Yeah, baby. Don’t worry. Everything will be fine,” Vikram reassured her as he adjusted his cufflinks.
At the Sana Group headquarters, the board of directors assembled in the grand conference hall. Some looked visibly worried, fearing the company would fall into the hands of someone unskilled. Others seemed pleased, knowing they stood to benefit from Akash’s rise.
Akash’s lawyers arrived first, distributing documents to each board member.
“You can all go through the papers,” one of the lawyers announced. “Mr. Akash has all the rights to take the business.”
Moments later, Akash’s car pulled into the premises. The media rushed toward him, flashing cameras as he stepped out with a wide grin. He waved at them like a king entering his court and walked confidently into the conference hall.
The board members stood when he entered. Akash took the center seat at the table and signaled his lawyer to speak.
“Gentlemen, hope you all have gone through the documents given to you. If anybody has objections, please raise them now,” the lawyer said.
But the room remained silent. No objections.
Akash stood to address them.
Meanwhile, a sleek Bentley with tinted windows pulled into the headquarters. The reporters immediately recognized it — Vikram’s car. Excitement surged as they rushed to surround the vehicle.
Security guards from the trailing car quickly stepped out and cleared the path. The car door opened, and Vikram stepped out with his usual calm demeanor. The media swarmed him with questions.
“Sir, Mr. Akash is taking over the business of your father-in-law. Don’t you do anything to object or stop it?” one reporter asked.
“Sir, where is Mr. Krishnan? Why has he not turned up?” another questioned.
“Sir, your wife is the legal heir. Then how could Mr. Akash take over the business?” came a third voice.
“Sir, whatever is happening is suspected to be revenge between your rivals. Is it true?” asked a fourth.
“Sir, are you here to stop this?” a fifth reporter pushed forward.
Vikram smiled at them all and said coolly, “I’m here to congratulate the new CEO. I will meet you all in a while.”
With that, he smiled again and walked toward the building, leaving the media stunned and desperate for more.
