Recap: Vikram took Sana to terrace for the surprise.

*******************************

Sana stood frozen, her breath caught in her throat as she took in the breathtaking sight before her. The entire terrace was adorned with cascading purple orchids, their delicate petals swaying gently in the evening breeze. A table was set at the center, elegantly arranged for dinner, illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight. The air carried the soothing notes of a melody playing in the background, blending seamlessly with the twinkling fairy lights that adorned the space. A pathway lined with red roses led toward the table, their fragrance filling the air with a dreamy allure.

She turned around, eager to express her joy to Vikram only to find him on one knee, a small velvet box in his hand. Her heart pounded as he slowly opened it, revealing a dazzling diamond ring that sparkled under the lights.

Vikram gazed up at her, his voice thick with emotion.

“Sana… I know I have hurt you a lot. I didn’t care for you when you needed me the most. I never stood by you, never gave you the love and support you deserved. I failed in every way a husband should not. I never did what a man is supposed to do for the woman he loves. But today, I promise you—I’ll stand by you always. I’ll care for you, love you, and protect you till my last breath.”

His voice trembled slightly, but his eyes held unwavering determination.

“We never had a proper engagement. We never had the marriage you deserved. I never gave you the rights of a wife, but I want to do everything I failed to do before. Sana… I am incomplete without you. Will you complete my life?”

He took a deep breath, his eyes never leaving hers.

“I am imperfect. Will you make me perfect with your love? I promise to be your first and last love. Will you forgive me and accept my love?”

Sana’s vision blurred with unshed tears. But this time, they were tears of happiness. She nodded, unable to form words, her emotions overwhelming her.

Vikram smiled softly and extended his hand.

“Shall I, baby?”

She let out a breathless laugh between her tears. “Yes… yes… yes!”

Vikram took her trembling hand and slid the ring onto her finger. He brought her hand to his lips, placing a reverent kiss on it. Overcome with emotion, Sana pulled him to his feet and wrapped her arms around him. Both of them shed silent tears, but the pain of the past melted away in that embrace.

Vikram cupped her face gently, wiping her tears away. He kissed her forehead, then her closed eyelids, her nose, and her cheeks. When his gaze finally dropped to her lips, he hesitated, searching her eyes for permission.

Sana closed her eyes, granting it.

Vikram leaned in, capturing her lips in a deep, tender kiss. He moved slowly, savoring the softness of her lips, nibbling gently on her lower lip. Sana responded, matching his passion. His hands gripped her arms a little tighter, drawing a gasp from her, and he took the opportunity to deepen the kiss. Their tongues danced together, lost in a world of their own.

When they finally pulled apart, breathless, Vikram rested his forehead against hers.

“You are amazingly sweet,” he murmured. “I want more of you, wifey.”

Sana blushed at his words.

He chuckled. “You know, I would keep kissing you nonstop, but I don’t want you to be hungry. Let’s have dinner first.”

Sana nodded, still flushed, and they sat down for the meal.

Once they finished, Vikram extended his hand toward her. “Shall we dance?”

She placed her hand in his, smiling. He held her right hand in his left while his other arm wrapped securely around her waist. Sana rested her hand on his shoulder, and they swayed gently. He was mindful of her growing belly, keeping their movements slow and easy.

After a while, they settled onto a nearby swing, decorated with fragrant flowers. Sana leaned her head on Vikram’s shoulder, sighing contentedly.

“You know, Vikram… I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have the most handsome, caring, and loving husband.”

Vikram smirked. “I’ve only just started caring for you, and you already praise me so much?”

She shook her head. “I had my place in your heart long before. You loved me a lot even before you met me.”

His expression softened. “That’s true. But I was a fool. I failed to realize it all these months.”

Sana frowned and sat up. “How long will you keep saying this, Vikky? Let it go. We are together now. What else do we need?”

Vikram exhaled, smiling. “This day is special. I realized my love, I have a wife who loves me unconditionally, I’m soon going to be a father… and I had my first, sweetest kiss.”

Sana giggled. “Not your first kiss, though.”

Vikram narrowed his eyes. “What?”

She blushed. “You’ve kissed me before… many times. I don’t even remember the count. That night, you kissed me too much.”

Vikram looked at Sana, his eyes filled with a mix of frustration and longing. “You know, I’m the most unlucky fellow,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair. “I don’t remember anything that happened between us, our first kiss, our first touch, the first time we made love. That should have been the most beautiful and precious moment of our lives, but I don’t remember a damn thing. I don’t remember how you reacted when I kissed you, how you blushed, your face after our love-making… It hurts so much, Sana.” His voice was laced with regret.

Sana reached for his hand, squeezing it gently. “The way I felt when you kissed me just now was the same as that night, Vikram,” she assured him softly. “And we’ll feel everything else once our baby is born. I swear, the feeling will be just the same.”

Vikram let out a deep breath and pulled her closer. “The second time we make love should be special, something we’ll always remember,” he said, his voice tender yet filled with determination.

Sana chuckled, a deep blush spreading across her cheeks as she hid her face against his chest.

Vikram tilted his head, amused. “What happened, wifey? You’re feeling shy now? God, I missed everything.”

Sana lifted her face slightly, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Hey, mister husband, our second time has already happened.”

Vikram stiffened. “What?”

She giggled. “Yes, you heard me. That night was too long for us… We ended up doing it three times.”

Vikram’s jaw dropped. “Three times?” He ruffled his hair, groaning. “I’m a damn fool. I don’t remember a single thing! Our first kiss, first touch, the first time we made love, it should have been the most beautiful, precious moment of our lives, but I don’t remember a damn thing! I don’t even know how you reacted when I first touched you… It hurts so much, Sana.”

She placed her hand over his. “The way I felt when you kissed me just now it was the same that night. And everything else… we can experience it again, once our baby is born. The feeling will be just as special.”

Vikram sighed, determination flickering in his eyes. “The second time we make love should be even more special for us. A moment we’ll never forget.”

Sana chuckled, blushing, and hid her face in his chest.

Vikram grinned. “What happened, wifey? Feeling shy? God, I missed everything.”

Sana peeked up at him and whispered, “Our second time has already happened, Vikram.”

He froze. “What?”

She nodded, her cheeks burning. “That night was long for us. We ended up… three times.”

Vikram’s eyes widened. “Three times? I’m a fucking idiot! I missed everything!”

Sana quickly covered his mouth. “Shhh! Keep your voice down!”

Vikram groaned. “You should have thrown water on my face or something! We did it three times, and I remember nothing?”

Sana giggled. “You never let me go that night. You were a beast.”

Vikram smirked and leaned closer. “By the way… how did you feel?”

She slapped his chest playfully. “Stop teasing me!”

Vikram clutched his chest dramatically. “Ouch! Have mercy on me, wifey. I’ve missed everything don’t I deserve some compensation?”

She rolled her eyes. “Vikky, we’re having a baby! What compensation do you expect?”

He grinned. “I know, love. I’ll get everything once our baby is born. But for now… just one kiss?”

Sana blushed, lowering her gaze. Vikram gently cupped her face, his thumb caressing her cheek. His fingers trailed to the back of her neck as he leaned in and captured her lips again—this time, softer, deeper, filled with longing.

When they pulled away, breathless, Vikram whispered, “I love you, wifey.”

Sana smiled. “I love you too, Vikram.”

With that, they retired to their room, where Vikram held Sana close. As she drifted off to sleep in his embrace, he kissed her forehead, feeling, for the first time, truly complete.

Meanwhile… Priyanka’s phone rang.

She answered, her voice sharp. “Why are you calling from a new number?”

A deep voice chuckled on the other end. “For a reason. Listen carefully , stay alert.”

Priyanka’s eyes darkened. “Do you have any good news?”

“Plan failed. Our person was caught by Vikram’s guards.”

Priyanka clenched her jaw. “I would have loved to hear her dead today.”

“Don’t worry. Tomorrow, we execute the plan.”

“No excuses this time. Finish her.”

The voice laughed. “Stay calm until we meet. Good night, sweetheart.”

The call ended.
