Recap: Sana becomes the CEO of Sana groups
************
Sana and Vikram reached home, still overwhelmed by the day’s events. A while later, Pugazh, Rakshat, Sharath, and Sana’s father arrived, their faces lit with pride and happiness.
Everyone took turns congratulating Sana.
“Vikram,” Sana asked softly, looking at him with uncertainty in her eyes, “I did as you said… but do you think I can really do it?”
“You’ll rock it, baby,” Vikram replied with confidence, pulling her close. “Don’t worry, we are here to guide you.”
Pugazh stepped forward. “Vikram, Dad has filed charges against Akash. Once you give your consent, they’ll move ahead with the legal actions.”
“Let them wait,” Vikram said calmly. “I’ll speak to them.”
Sana’s father laughed in relief. “Vikram, finally I’m free to enjoy my life.”
Vikram chuckled. “Ha ha ha… enjoy, Dad!”
“Dad, this is not fair,” Sana said, raising an eyebrow.
“You have so many people around you,” her father teased, “so I should rest now.”
“Fine,” Sana pouted. “Enjoy your life then!”
Just then, Pranitha chimed in playfully, “CEO madam, won’t you treat us?”
“Please stop teasing me,” Sana groaned, hiding her face.
“We’ll have a party tonight for ourselves,” Vikram declared. “Sharath, arrange it in our garden.”
As everyone laughed and cheered, Amudha came in, carrying little Sara in her arms. Vikram’s eyes lit up as he reached out.
“Princess, come here to Appa,” he said warmly.
“Appa…” Sara murmured as she hugged him tightly, her little hands wrapping around his neck.
Vikram patted her back gently, then handed her over to Sana’s father. The older man’s face glowed with joy at hearing his granddaughter speak clearly.
“You all have a good time,” Vikram said, standing up. “I’ll be back soon.”
He walked toward his study room with Sharath following behind.
Once inside, Vikram’s tone turned serious. “Sharath, call the Commissioner and tell him to file a kidnapping case against Akash, along with the previous one.”
“Sure, sir,” Sharath responded without hesitation.
Meanwhile, at AV Mansion, Akash stormed into his house, his face red with fury. He grabbed everything in reach and threw it across the room in a blind rage.
“Stop it, Akash!” his father yelled. “I told you to stop your nonsense! Now look what you’ve done!”
“Dad, please stop your words!” Akash barked back.
“You did everything on your own, and now the media is behind you like vultures to prey on you!”
“I know, but I’ll clear it off!”
A cold, commanding voice echoed through the entrance. “What will you clear off, Mr. Akash?”
Akash and his father turned abruptly to see a group of police officers standing at the doorstep.
“Mr. Akash,” the inspector said, stepping inside. “We have a search warrant.”
“Why?” Akash asked, startled.
“We received information that you are involved in illegal activities. We need to search your house. Also, we have an arrest warrant for the kidnapping of Mr. Krishnan. He has filed a complaint against you, along with evidence.”
The inspector signaled to his constables. “Search the entire house and the surroundings.”
As the police spread out, Akash’s father’s phone rang. He picked it up, only to hear a familiar, firm voice.
“Mr. Viswanath,” Vikram said on the other end, “I told you many times to control your son, but you didn’t. So now he will reap what he sowed. I have a great surprise for your son. Let him enjoy it. Give him my wishes.”
“What have you done?” Viswanath asked in alarm.
“One… two… three… here you go,” Vikram replied calmly.
Just then, one of the constables shouted, “Sir! There is a dead body here in the garden!”
Another called out, “Sir! Another dead body in the storeroom!”
Viswanath’s face drained of color. “Vikram, what you have done is not good!”
“Take care of your son,” Vikram said flatly. “Bye.”
The inspector turned to Akash, holding out a file. “Mr. Akash, these were the criminals who escaped from prison—Samrat and Priyanka. How come their bodies are here?”
“How do I know?” Akash snapped defensively.
“We’ll get the truth out,” the inspector said grimly. He turned to his team. “Constable, call forensics to collect the evidence and send the bodies for post-mortem.”
“Okay, sir,” the constable replied, already dialing.
The inspector looked straight at Akash. “Mr. Akash, you are under arrest. Please cooperate with us.”
“Inspector, please wait,” Viswanath interjected. “Let me call my lawyer.”
“You can call,” the inspector replied, “but we need to take your son with us first.”
The inspector escorted Akash out of the mansion and into the police jeep. The media swarmed outside, their cameras flashing as they captured every moment of Akash being led away. Within minutes, Akash became the talk of the town—for all the wrong reasons.
The scene concluded with the police loading the two bodies into the ambulance as the forensics team began its examination under the flashing lights of the patrol vehicles.
The phone rang at Vikram’s study. He glanced at the caller ID. It was Viswanath, Akash’s father. With a sigh, Vikram picked it up.
“Vikram, please leave my son. I will not let him in your way anymore,” Viswanath pleaded, his voice strained with desperation.
Vikram’s tone was calm and cold. “What are you speaking, Mr. Viswanath? What happened to your son?”
“Vikram, please stop your play. Police arrested him for the murder of Sam, Priyanka and the kidnap case of your father-in-law,” Viswanath said, voice shaking.
Vikram leaned back in his chair. “I know about the case involving my dad. But why did he kill Sam and Priyanka?”
“Vikram, you are testing my patience,” Viswanath snapped, anger flaring in his voice.
“I don’t get what you expect from me,” Vikram said coldly. “But I’m busy with my business. Please hang up.”
With that, he ended the call.
Viswanath, frustrated and cornered, contacted several lawyers to get bail for Akash. But none were willing to take up the case. The evidence was overwhelming—pointing squarely at Akash.
That evening, the garden of Vikram’s home was glowing with soft lights and gentle laughter. It had been a long time since the family had gathered just to relax.
Krishnan, a soft smile playing on his lips, looked around. “It’s been long since we had time for just us.”
“Yes, pa,” Sana replied, resting her head briefly on his shoulder. “It’s been a while.”
“We should plan it often,” Rakshat chimed in.
“Did Akash get his bail?” Pugazh asked suddenly.
“Pugazh, no other talks, strictly,” Pranitha warned, shooting him a look.
“Sorry, sorry,” Pugazh grinned sheepishly.
“I’m hungry,” Sana declared, her eyes lighting up at the smell of food.
“I’ve cooked all your favorite dishes,” Amudha said warmly.
“Wow,” Vikram smiled, stretching. “A relaxed dinner with family. What else do we need?”
“Amma… mummm…” little Sara mumbled, tugging at her mother’s dress.
“Princess is hungry too,” Vikram chuckled. “Let’s eat.”
The family settled down for dinner under the stars. The table was filled with laughter, teasing, and the clinking of cutlery.
Krishnan, watching everyone, became thoughtful. “Despite all the problems we face, the thought of the family we have to support gives immense strength.”
“You’re right, Dad,” Rakshat nodded. “It’s a pride, actually.”
“True,” Sana added softly. “Who else can feel it better than me?”
Vikram reached under the table and gently held her hand, his thumb caressing hers as comfort.
“Fine, it’s late. Everyone get back to your rooms,” Pugazh announced playfully.
“Sana, go ahead to our room. I’ll join you in a while,” Vikram said.
“Are you planning men’s time?” Pranitha teased.
“No, just a casual talk for a while,” Vikram grinned.
Sana, Pavithra, and Amudha left, taking sleepy little Sara with them.
Once they were alone, Vikram looked at Pugazh. “Go ahead.”
“Akash’s dad called me. He wants to meet you,” Pugazh informed.
“Why?” Vikram asked, raising a brow.
“What else could be the reason?” Rakshat replied. “He’ll plead for his son.”
“Reject his appointment, Pugazh,” Vikram ordered firmly.
“Sure. Seems like no lawyer is accepting Akash’s case, so he’s upset,” Pugazh said.
“This is nothing compared to what he has done,” Vikram muttered.
Krishnan, seated nearby, looked thoughtful. “Vikram, you’ll have to be more careful now. Sana has no experience, so you’ll need to guide her.”
“Appa, don’t worry. I’ll take care,” Vikram assured him.
“We’ve fired ten members from the board and five from the office,” Pugazh added.
“Inform Sana tomorrow. Start recruitment to replace them,” Vikram said.
“Dad, we should leave now,” Rakshat said, checking the time.
“Hey, it’s already late. Stay back,” Vikram urged.
“Yes, Rakshat. We’ll leave tomorrow,” Krishnan agreed.
The men retired to their rooms for the night. But as they rested peacefully, sleepless nights had just begun for Akash and his father.
Akash was taken to the magistrate’s court the next morning. The judgment was swift—15 days in custody for interrogation.
Meanwhile, at Vikram’s house, Sana stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her outfit. Though dressed impeccably, her face was clouded with doubt and worry.
Vikram noticed and walked over, wrapping his arms around her gently. “Wifey, why do you look upset?”
“Vikky… will I be able to handle this?” she asked, her voice small.
“Don’t you doubt yourself,” he whispered, tilting her chin up. “You are capable of anything.”
“I’ll miss Sara… she’ll miss me too,” Sana said, her eyes welling up.
“Don’t worry. Amma will take care of her. I’ve arranged baby sitters to assist her,” Vikram explained. “Moreover, you don’t need to spend the whole day at the office. You’ll have this feeling for a few days until you settle in. Later, you can reduce your hours and spend more time with Sara. Pugazh and I will be there to guide you, so don’t worry. We’ll handle it together.”
Sana smiled, her eyes soft. “You know what… you are the best. I love you.” She hugged him tightly, and Vikram held her just as close.
“Seri,” Vikram said softly. “Give some time to Sara before leaving. I’ll come with you today.”
Sana sat with Sara, cuddling her close, pressing soft kisses to her cheeks.
Amudha walked in and smiled warmly. “Sana, I’ll take care of her. I have a lot of people to help me. So don’t worry, and rock your day.”
“Love you, Ma. Bye,” Sana said emotionally.
Hand in hand, Vikram and Sana walked out together, ready to begin their first official day at Sana Groups—a day that marked a new chapter in both their lives.
