Aryan and Sanju were staying at the beach house, far from the city, with no one around except for a couple of guards stationed for their security. Without maids or any disturbances, the days passed in silence and warmth. Sanju had changed a lot during this stay—she felt lighter, more peaceful. Aryan did everything for her. He wouldn’t let her lift a finger and made sure she got all the rest she needed.

Every evening, they would walk hand-in-hand along the shore. The sound of the waves, the soft breeze, and the setting sun brought a calming happiness to Sanju. She loved the sight of the orange hue dissolving into the ocean, and even more, the feeling of Aryan beside her.

At night, Aryan helped her relax with a warm bath. He was gentle, patient, and ever so attentive. Sanju often found herself getting emotional, overwhelmed by the way he cared for her, by the way he made her feel cherished.

The next morning, Aryan woke up early and was in the kitchen preparing breakfast. He wore just a pair of shorts and a vest, humming lightly as he worked. Sanju woke up, took a warm shower, and came out wearing his shirt. With a smile, she wrapped her arms around him from behind, hugging him tightly.

Aryan smiled and took her hands in his, gently kissing her knuckles.
“Good morning, sweetheart.”

“Good morning, my dear handsome,” she replied, kissing his back softly.

“I’ve got breakfast ready for you,” he said. “Do you want anything else?”

“Yes,” she said with a playful smirk.

He turned slightly, curious. “What do you want?”

“I want you.”

He turned fully to look at her, eyebrows raised as she winked at him. In one swift move, he lifted her and placed her on the kitchen counter.

“Hey, where is your pant?” he asked, half-laughing.

“I’m comfortable with this,” she said casually, tugging him closer and kissing his lips.

When he hesitated, not opening up for a deep kiss, she pulled his hair and took charge, kissing him more passionately. He responded, wrapping his arms around her. Then she pulled back, removed his vest, and whispered with longing in her eyes.

“I want you.”

“Sweetheart,” he said, gently holding her face, “I’m scared… What if I hurt you or the baby? I’m controlling myself, please baby…”

“You can never hurt me. I’m craving for only you.”

“Do you really want us to risk it now? Maybe we could wait a few more months… Once the baby is born…”

Before he could finish, she raised her hand to stop him and turned away, hiding her tears. He noticed and immediately wiped her tears.

“Sorry,” she mumbled. “Maybe it’s just mood swings. It’s okay, we shall wait. Let me down, I’ll get changed and come for breakfast.”

He gently placed her down. Sanju walked to the bedroom and took out a gown to change into, but Aryan snatched it away from her.

“What are you doing?” she asked. “Give it to me.”

“No,” he said firmly. “You look sexy in my shirt, so stay in that.”

“I don’t want to be.”

Aryan hugged her from behind and kissed her cheeks.

“My crazy wife… How will I make you understand my desires for you? I’m with you all the time but still… I couldn’t do anything. Do you know how that feels? It hurts to not touch you. But now… I can’t stop. And you can’t escape.”

Without waiting for a response, he lifted her in bridal style and carried her to the bed. He placed her gently and got on top of her, careful not to put any weight on her, his hands on either side supporting him. He kissed her all over her face, softly, lovingly, then captured her lips.

He moved to her neck, then to her shoulders, placing wet kisses while his hands slowly and gently undressed her. Sanju closed her eyes, her skin tingling at every kiss, her breath hitching with every touch.

“Every time I feel like having you for the first time,” Aryan whispered. “What spell did you cast on me?”

They lost themselves in each other. Aryan made love to her gently, making sure not to hurt her even a little, yet giving her every bit of pleasure. With every movement, he was attentive, tender, and loving. They reached their climax, wrapped in each other’s arms. He kissed her forehead and pecked her lips.

“Did I hurt you?” he asked softly.

“You can never hurt me,” she replied and kissed him again.

Later, he carried her to the washroom, and they showered together. Their days at the beach house became a memory carved deep in their hearts. And after a week, they returned home.

Another week passed. One morning, Sanju decided it was time for Aryan to return to work.

“Aryan,” she began. “I think you should get back to business now.”

“Sanju, I cannot work in peace leaving you here,” he said immediately. “Please.”

“You said you’d listen to me if I stayed home without coming to office,” she reminded him.

“I did say that,” he sighed. “But how do you expect me to leave you all alone?”

“Crazy fellow,” she muttered.

“Why do you scold me now?” he asked, genuinely confused.

“What else do you expect me to do? We have Kowsalya mom, Bala bro, and maids all around the mansion. I will be safe. You better get back to office. We have just a week left for the new product launch. Help Pradeep.”

“So you’ve already decided, is it?” he asked with a pout.

“You are going to office from tomorrow. DOT.”

Aryan sat on the couch, sulking.

“I won’t give up just because you’re acting cute,” Sanju said, smirking. “So get back to work.”

The next day, Aryan arrived at ARC Towers and settled into his cabin. He called Pradeep in to discuss the final preparations for the upcoming product launch. Meanwhile, Asha rushed into Maya’s cabin with urgency.

“Madam, Aryan sir is back in office,” Asha informed.

“Sanju? Is she back too?” Maya asked, her eyes narrowing.

“No, only sir is back. Pradeep sir has gone to meet him.”

Later, when Pradeep returned, Maya wasted no time.

“Did you see Sanjana? Is she back?”

“No, I just met Aryan casually. Nothing else,” Pradeep replied nonchalantly.

That evening, Maya invited Pradeep for dinner. He accepted. At the restaurant, Maya was already waiting when he arrived.

“So what is this dinner for?” Pradeep asked as he settled in.

“Will Sanjana be present for the product launch?”

“Of course, she has to be. She’s the chairperson.”

“Then I want you to do me a favor.”

“What favor?”

“Get me someone from the research team who could work for me. I have some plans and I need an introduction.”

“Sounds like a huge plan. Let me try.”

“No, you already agreed to help me. You need to do this.”

“What’s your plan actually?”

“Let me first discuss with the research person. Then I’ll tell you.”

“Done. You’ll have the contact details tomorrow.”

After dinner, Pradeep handed Maya the contact details of a researcher named Gughan. That night, Maya contacted Gughan and discussed her plan to tamper with the sample lotion using a chemical mixture. After confirming the feasibility, Gughan agreed in exchange for a large payment.

As the week progressed, everyone at ARC was caught up in the pre-launch preparations. Aryan left office early each day to be with Sanju. Her pregnancy symptoms were easing, bringing some relief to him.

One evening, they sat in the garden sipping beverages.

“Aryan, don’t you want me to join, at least for the launch?” Sanju asked gently.

“No, sweetheart. You’ll stay home until I say.”

“Why not even for the launch?”

“You will be there. Just wait until I say.”

Meanwhile, Maya confronted her father in frustration.

“Dad, it’s been a month and you still haven’t found out what’s wrong with Sanjana?”

“Maya, you know Aryan better than anyone. Yet you still question me.”

“You know what? I can find out myself in another week. She’ll be back in office for the launch, and I’ll get the truth.”

“Maya, I’m considering ending the partnership with Aryan.”

“Why?”

“I don’t think it’s beneficial for either party. Let’s consult a lawyer and find a way to end it.”

“Stop it, Dad. Don’t you dare.”

“Maya, if our assumptions are right, we might be in serious trouble with Aryan. It’s safer to end this.”

“Not until I say so.”

“Go back to Canada and manage business with your brother for some time.”

“What’s going on in your mind? I’m not going anywhere.”

She stormed out, glaring at him. After she left, Rajesh spoke up.

“Sir, maybe it’s better to tell Maya the truth about Sanjana.”

“No. That will only make things worse. She’ll become more aggressive. We should focus on sending her back to Canada for now.”

“But she isn’t willing to go. And with the launch in a week, Sanjana will be back in office. Madam will find out anyway.”

“Aryan won’t bring her back so soon. He knows Maya too well and will plan accordingly.”

Meanwhile, Pradeep was busy with meetings. While heading to the conference room, eyes glued to a file, he accidentally bumped into someone. He caught the person before they could fall and looked up to see it was Keerthy. Their eyes locked. For a moment, everything around them faded.

His arms still around her waist, their gaze lingered longer than it should. That moment was broken by the sound of someone clearing their throat. They turned to see Pavi standing nearby with a mischievous smile.

“Sorry, I saw nothing,” Pavi said, grinning.

“Sorry, I caught you just to stop you from falling,” Pradeep said, quickly letting go.

Keerthy smiled softly and entered the conference room. Pradeep followed, but his mind kept replaying the moment. His eyes drifted toward her again. She sensed his gaze and looked away, causing him to chuckle quietly.

Later that evening, Pradeep stepped out of the lift with an uncontainable smile and bumped into Ranjith.

“Hello? What’s gotten into you?” Ranjith asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Oh, nothing. I’m fine.”

“I don’t think so. Why are you grinning like a fool?”

At that moment, Pavi and Keerthy walked over.

“Oh, that’s because Pradeep sir is ready for marriage now!” Pavi teased.

“I’m getting late, so I’ll leave now,” Pradeep said quickly, looking at Keerthy before walking away.

“Why is he acting like this?” Ranjith asked.

“You’ll know with time. Right, Keerthy?” Pavi said with a wink.

Ranjith picked up on the hint.

“Oh, I see…”

“Let’s go home. I’ll handle you both,” Keerthy said, rolling her eyes playfully.

Ranjith and Pavi exchanged a teasing smile as they walked off together.
