Recap: Raghav and Malini spend quality time.

Raghav and Malini were enjoying their days with all fun and banter with occasional outings. In all this he never failed to keep her concentration on studies for her exam. It was 10 days after their marriage Raghav joined his office for work. It was the first exam for Malini and Raghav was hastily getting ready before her and got all her things ready for her exam. He waited for her at the dining with breakfast and she came down soon and they had breakfast together.
Raghav: Krish pa. Afternoon neenga Maliniya college la irundha pick up pannidunga please. ( Krish paa, Please pick up Malini from her college this afternoon)
Malini: Naa thaniya vandhuduven. ( I will come on my own )
Raghav: Adhellam onnum venda. Appa varuvaru olunga avar kooda veetukku vaa. ( No you won’t. Appa will come and you will return home with him)
Malini: yen Raghav ippadi panra? ( why do you do this Raghav?)
Raghav: Else you will go for ice cream. No ice cream until your exams are over Malini. Got it?
Malini: hmmm.
Raghav: Now come I m will wait outside.
Malini bid bye and they wished her good luck for her exams. She came out and saw Raghav in his enfield and she sat behind him. He drove her to college and stopped at the gate. Malini got down and looked at Raghav and bid him bye and turned to leave. He saw her being tensed for the exams and called her and got down from the bike and opened his arms for her and she hugged him with her head on his chest.
Malini: Thank you I needed this.
Raghav: Theriyum( I know) Malini ma you have prepared well for the exam so don’t fear ok. I know you will do well.
Malini: Konjam bayam than vera onnum illa.( scared a little nothing else)
Raghav: Your final semester and then you will be Malini B Com. Kekkave evlo nalla irukku. ( It would be great to hear)
Malini: Seri I will do well.
He pulled back from the hug and squeezed her palms in his.
Raghav: All the best. I see you at home. Call me after your exam.
Malini: Ok bye.
She then walked inside and he left after her figure disappeared from his sight and reached office.
Malini and her friends reached the exam hall and settled in their seats according to the registration number.
Malini Mv: Kadavule un pullaiya koodave irundhu kaapathu pa. ( God, please sty by your child and help her )
She got the question paper and all the questions were those Raghav marked as important and was happy that she answer for most of them and started writing happily.
Raghav reached his cabin and started his work but still his thoughts wandering around his Malini. Everytime her thought flashed in his mind a smile appeared on his face and he could not stop himself from opening his gallery and stare at the photos they had taken recently after their wedding.
Sanjay who came to his cabin during the break to take him to the cafeteria saw him smiling at their photo and shook his shoulder to bring him back to the reality.
Sanjay: Enna da office la work panra idea irukka illaya?( Hey, do you have idea to work at office?)
Raghav: Work pannama enna panren na. ( What am I doing other than work ?)
Sanjay: Adhan paathene. Sir enna work panringa nu. Apram enna matter. ( that I m seeing. What work sir is doing. so what is the matter ?)
Raghav: Malini ku exam start ayiduchu.( Malini’s exam started today)
Sanjay: Achacho… ( Ouch)
Raghav: Enna da ( what man ?)
Sanjay: Appo nee avala drop pannama inga enna pandra? ( then what are you doing here instead of dropping her ?)
Raghav: Ada chi. Morning college drop panniten. ( hey you, I dropped her in the morning)
Sanjay: Adhana paathen. Drop pannita la apram enna. ( See , I knew it. You dropped her right then what is bothering ?)
Raghav: Afternoon han pick up panna mudiyala.( Can’t pick up her in the afternoon)
Sanjay: Dey indha pudhusa love panna start pannitu nee panra attagasam thangala da yeppa. (Hey you are doing too much of after falling in love )
Raghav: Adhellam unakku puriyadhu machan. ( That you won’t understand dude)
Sanjay: Enakku puriyave vendam nee vaa coffee kudikka polam. ( Let me not understand it. Come now lets have coffee)
They left to the cafeteria where Prakash and Bala was already waiting for them.
Prakash: Yenda ivlo late? ( Why are you late ?)
Sanjay: Sir love moodla irundha eppadi seekiram varadhu. ( sir was in love mood then how could we arrive early)
Bala: Machan unnoda marriage official announcement panna apram inga ella ponnungalum yedho love failure maari suthuranga da. Mobile ringtone lam ore soga paata irukku. ( Dude after the official announcement of your marriage all the girls here will roam as if they got in some love failure. There will be only sad songs as mobile ringtone then )
Prakash: HR madam romba sogama irukkanga. ( HR madam is very sad)
Sanjay: Seri vidu adhan get together plan irukku la. Appo yellarum Maliniya paathuta seri ayiduvanga. ( Let it go. anyhow we have get together and everyone will get to see Malini )
Raghav: Get together lam edhukku da? ( Why do we get together ?)
Prakash: Team leader sir ku oru chinna treat marriage aanadhukku. ( A small treat for team leader for his marriage)
Bala: Rendu perum appadiye hero heroine mathiri entry thaanga. ( both of you should give an entry like hero and heroine)
Sanjay: Malini kitta sollitiya? ( did you tell Malini)
Raghav: Illa da. Ava exam mudiyattum illana ippove excitement la padikka matta. ( No man, If I tell her now then she won’t study for exam)
They returned to their work after their usual banters. When his watch inicated the time of end of examination hours he kept glancing at his mobile waiting for her call. Malini finished her exam and came out of the hall and calle him immeiately and he answered in the first ring.
Raghav: Enna ma how did you write? ( How did you write ?)
Malini: Raghaveyyy I love you so much. Nee sonna question ellam vanhuchu theriyuma. super ah ezhudhunen. ( whatever question you practiced me were the ones in the question paper. I have the exam well)
His heart skipped a beat when he heard her say I love you though it was not in the way expected but the usual love you she would say him everytime she gets excited in speaking with him. Still he felt happy and listene to all her talks. One would think he was assigned the job of listening to her talks instead of being a TL in an MNC when looked at his expressions on his face as he listene to her.
Malini: Seri veetukku poitu call paava? (ok then, shall I give a call back after reaching home ?)
Raghav: I will stay on line. Go and find appa and then end my line.
Malini: Kandippa ice cream sapda matten pa. Nambu ( sure I won’t eat ice cream trust me )
Raghav: I believe you ma. Just for a safety.
Malini: Lekha irukka en pakkathula so don’t worry. ( Lekha is next to me so don’t worry)
Raghav: Seri ok. Call me as soon you reach home.
Malini:hmmm.
Malini turned to Lekha who was looking at her suspiciously.
Malini: Why are you looking at me weird?
Lekha: Did you know what have you said to Raghav just before?
Malini: Enna sonnen. Exam pathi sonnen. Adhukku enna? ( What did I say ? I said about exams. What is with that ?)
Lekha: Loosa Malini nee. You said I love you. If you really meant it then I would be happy for you. ( Are you crazy Malini ? )
Malni: hey. I said like the usual way I used to say to him.
Lekha: Appo ok but ippo you guys are married so ippo I love you ku meaning vera. ( then it was different but now you guys are married and it means completely different now)
Malini blinked at her.
Lekha: Don’t over think. Raghav bro will know what you meant. But soon tell him from your heart like he deserved to hear from his wife. Now come lets go.
Krishnan who was waiting picked her and they reached home. She called Raghav and informed after home and settled for lunch.
Sujatha: Malini eppadi ezhudhuna exam? ( Malini how did you do your exams ?)
Malini: hmm super ah ezhudhiten. ( I have done well maa)
Devika: Avalukku enna super ah than ezhudhuva. ( Why worry about her? she will do good )
Sujatha: Solli kuduthadhu Raghav la. ( it was Raghav who taught her )
Malini: Padichadhu nanu. ( it was me who studied for it)
She went for a nap after lunch. Evening she settled in the balcony to read for her next exam. Raghav reached home and saw her sincerely reading for exam.
Raghav: Malini ma… He called her and she entered the room.
Malini: Enna pa… ( What ji ?)
He gave her a box from her the famous bakers of their place.
Raghav: your favourite macrons. Exam mudinja apram ice cream so until then macrons. ( After exams I will get you ice cream until then only macrons)
Malini: Thank you pa.
She immediately opened and took a bite and fed one to Raghav. He ruffled her hair and went to refresh.
The next then days went in a flick with Raghav and Malini busy with their work and exams. It as the final day of the exam Malini wanted to spend some time with her friends and informed her father to be late for an hour to pick her.
She with her friends settled under the tree in the campus and spent time and exchanged their farewell. Malini was sad that she coul not meet her friends requently anymore. Malini, Lekha and Arthi were waiting at the gate with their faces covered in sadness. Suddenly a car stopped before them and Malini’s eyes widened as it was Raghav’s. HE got down an went near them.
Malini: Enna office la illama inga enna panra? ( what are you doing here without going to office?)
Raghav: I know my Malini will be sad to leave her friends adhan vandhen. Now call your friends and get in the car.
Malini: Enga? (where to ?)
Raghav: How about a lunch all together?
Malini squealed and hugged him and he hugged her back tightly. Lekha and Arthi chuckle at their PDA and cleared their throats.
Malini: Hey come lets go. Raghav is taking us for lunch.
All three girls sat in the backseat and Raghav drove to a restaurant where he has already reserved table for them. He went and sat in a different table.
Malini: Raghav enga pora? ( Where are you going Raghav ?)
Raghav: You girls enjoy your time and have whatever you want. I will wait in a different table. Have your time Maalu. Once you finish we shall leave.
Girls were merely happy for such caring and understanding side of Raghav. They settled and ordered all their favourite food and desserts and had a good time remembering all their times at college. Indeed a wonderful time for them together with favourite food and freinds and selfies.
Raghav who sat in a different table never felt bored of being alone as he was completely into sighting his wife. The way she talked, her hands that moved with her talks, her infectious smile, the dimple when she smiled to the fullest, the way she moaned to taste the food everything wasn’t new to him but felt different now. Everything was making him feel crazy about her and all the butterflies flapped in his cells. He rubbed his nape with a shy smile that she was his.
Raghav Mv: Malini……. ennoda Malini. (my Malini).. love you.
He patted his chest to calm his heart which thudded with the mere thought of saying her name.
