Recap: Elders decide to get Malini and Raghav married and Raghav comes to know the real face of Vineet

Was he really in love with Malini, does he behave the same as the people in love, would be this feel love, is staying together without giving up on each other is love, if that meant love then not only Raghav then Malini is also in love with Raghav. Did they fail to realize that what they shared between them was love? If it was love why did others not confront them about this? Too many thoughts rushed in Raghav’s mind as he went towards Malini’s room while Vineet and his friend left the wedding hall after the bitter meet with Raghav.
Raghav stood in front of the room and knocked the door and Sujatha opened and saw him standing.
Sujatha: Vaa Raghav ulla. neenga pesunga naa velila work pakkuren. ( Raghav come inside and you both can talk. I will look after the work outside)
Raghav: Seri ma ( ok maa)
Raghav closed the door and saw Malini sitting on the dressing stool in front of the mirror lost in thoughts. He knew that she is nervous rather than confused because he knows that she will believe him with blind eyes so he decided to calm her mind.
Raghav: Malini ma
Malini: sollu Raghav. ( Tell me Raghav)
Raghav: Vineet kitta pesiten. He understood. First marriage mudiyattum parents kashta padutha vendam nu sollitan. We take time to sort out nu sonnan. And for time being avanukku call panna vendam nu sonnan. In case avane call panna enna pesa vekka sonnan.
( I have spoken to vineet. He understood. He didn’t want to keep our parents worried so he wanted to get us married. He said we will take time to sort it out. and for time being he doesn’t want you to call him. Even if he calls then he wanted me to speak to him)
Malini: Seri Raghav. Nee irukkum podhu enakkum enna kavala. ( ok Raghav, Why do I need to worry when I have you )
Raghav: Unakku enmela avlo nambikkaiya? ( Do you trust me so much ?)
Malini: Ennada pudhusa kekkura? ( Why are you asking as if its new ?)
She stood and hugged him and for the first time the hug felt a different for him. Not lust, not romantic but some feel which felt like the belief and love he wanted to give her and take from her for the entire life. Is this what people say love? If this is love and yes I love Malini and what a fool I was to not realize these years. May everything takes time and like it happened to him he hoped that Malini will also realize that her love is only him.
He pulled from the hug and kissed her forehead. It was not the first time he kissed her forehead but this was a promise he made to himself to protect her and be her knight in shining armour and love her forever.
Malini: Unna vida yara nambuven naa. ( Whom will I trust if not you ?)
Raghav: Seri(ok) get ready I will leave now.
Raghav reached his room and saw his friends waiting for him. For a moment he stood without any reaction but his mind was running with many thoughts. Do he need to tell them everything about Vineet now ? What will they think if they come to know that I told Vineet about my love for Malini? Will they look at disgustingly or should I ask them the feel of love to make sure of my feelings. Will they hate me if I tell them?
Prakash: Dey ennada yosikra? ( What are you thinking ?)
Raghav: Onnum illada? Naa onnum ketta solluvingala? ( Nothing man. Will you answer if ask you something ?)
Sanjay: Enna da sollu. ( Tell us what is it ?)
Raghav: What is love?
Prakash: Kalyanathukku ready aganum da ippo ethukku kekkura? ( you should get ready for marriage and why are you asking this now ?)
Raghav: Please sollunga da. ( Please tell me guys )
Prakash , Sanjay and Bala laughed at him but not a teasing one.
Sanjay: Raghav love makes you feel crazy for your partner and you cannot a imagine a life without her. You will do anything for her and her happiness.
Prakash: Avala protect panna unnoda happiness kooda sacrifice pannuva. ( You will sacrifice your happiness to protect her )
Sanjay: Ava illama life illa nu thonum. happiness, sadness, pride, fight, belief, romance, sex, lust ellam thandi innoru amma ippadi ellam onna kedaicha adhu love. ( You wish not to live without her. Above happiness, sadness, pride, fight, belief, romance, sex, lust you will feel like she is your other mother and everything together is your love for her )
Raghav: Appo namma love panrom nu eppadi confirm pandrathu? ( How do we confirm that we are in love ?)
Prakash: loosu payale. Sanjay sonna ellathukkum kanna moodi paatha theriyum da ava face. Appadi therinja confirm love. Seri nee yen ippo idhulam kekkura. ( Crazy fellow. Close your eyes and think of everything Sanjay said to you and then you will see her face. If you see her then its love. But whya re you asking this now ?)
Raghav: Solren but not now. First marriage mudiyattum apram unga kitta neraya sollanum. ( I will tell yo but not now. First let the marriage het over and then I will tell everything)
Sanjay: Seri ennavo first get ready da. time agudhu. ( Whatever get ready first. Its getting late)
Raghav’s mother came with wedding attire for Raghav and told him to get ready and gave a forehead kiss to him. Raghav nodded and started to get ready. Sujatha waited for Malini to come out of the bath room after the bath. As Malini came out she gave the saree and jewels to get ready. Malini hesitated to take the jewels as they were all chosen for Keerthy according to her choice. Its not that Malini didn’t want to get her choice of jewels but the memories of the day they had on purchasing those jewels flashed making her miss her elder sister and also felt a pain that would be forever in their parent’s heart.
Sujatha: Malini puridhu unakku idhu vendam na appa kitta solli vera vaanga solren adhuvaraikum idhu irukattum. ( Malini I can undertsand if you don’t want them then I will inform your appa to buy something else until then let it be )
Malini: Enna ma enna pathi ivlo than purinji vechurukkiya. Enakku idhulam prechana illa ma but idhaiyellam paatha unga manasu kashta padum than yosichen vera onnum illa. Kudunga naa pottukuren.
(Maa, do you think of me like that ? I don’t have a problem with these but I thought you will all feel worried nothing else. Give me I will wear them )
Sujatha : Sorry di.
Sujatha hugged Malini and cried her heart out.
Sujatha: Nee unakku select panna saree kattiko idhu venda. Jewels podala na nalla irukadhu. ( Wear the you bought for yourself, you don’t need this one. It won’t be good without jewels)
Their convo was disturbed when Devika came inside and hugged Malini. she gave a bag to Sujatha.
Sujatha : Enna idhu Devika? ( What is this Devika ?)
Devika: Idhula ennoda jewels irukku idha pottu Malini ya ready pannu Suja. Enakku ponnu illa nu ivlo naal idhellam use pannama irundhen adhan ippo yen ponnu Malini en veetukku vara pora la adhan avalukku pottu azhagu pakkalam nu kondu vandhen.
( These are my jewels, get Malini wear these ones Suja. I couldn’t use them since I didn’t have daughter but now my daughter Malini will come to my home and I want to see her adorned with these jewels)
Sujatha and Devika hugged and called Malini to them and pulled her into the hug.
Devika: Seri seekiram agu da thangam. ( Get ready soon my dear golden girl )
Malini : Seri ma (ok ma)
Sujatha stayed back as the stylist made Malini get ready in the same saree which was selected by Raghav and her. The guest started to arrive and the priest called Raghav first to the dias. Raghav sat and followed the rituals. Later the priest called the bride and Malini’s friends came along with her as she walked graciously in the elegant purple silk saree and jewels. Her hair was plaited and adorned with jasmine flowers. Malini appeared exiquisite to Raghav. She reached the dias slowly and sat next to him.
The priest gave the garlands and asked them to exchange. Raghav and Malini looked at each other. Raghav a smile at her and nodded his head and they exchanged the garlands. Later the priest gave the nuptial thready to get blessings from everyone.
There were a little gossips aorund the guest about the bride and grrom being different but both families did not give any heed to those and gave their full attention to their children who are getting married bringing relief and joy to all of them.
Priest gave the nuptial thread to Raghav. He got it from the priest and looked at her as seeking permission and she closed her eyes and opened it as giving him her acceptance and he tied it around her neck while everybody blessed them with the flowers and yellow rice.
They are married now and are offically husband and wife. A huge step and commitment they have got into. Until that moment they have no idea what would be their life but they believed that it would not less than any beautiful journey one would come across and that journey which they had started years and years back with a beautiful friendship.
Raghav and Malini got blessings from the elders and they had a small photoshoot. All the guest and relatives left except for the two families and Raghav’s friends. They sat with a little relief and joy. When it was time for Malini to leave to Raghav’s home all she felt was a different feel that hit that moment. she will have to leave her parents, her home which she wasn’t prepared. She burst out crying and hugged her parents. Raghav and his parents felt bad for Malini who was crying loud.
Lakshmikandhan: Malini yen a azhara. Namma veetukku vandhu konjam neram iru apram namma ellarum thirumab unga amma veetukku pogalam seriya. Nee solra vara ellarum angeye irukalam. Enna Devika seri thana?
(Malini why are you crying ? We will go to our home, stay for sometime then return back to your mother’s place. okay ? We will stay there until you wanted. Is it ok Devika ?)
Devika : Correct thanga Sujatha apram anna vum namma kooda varattum. elarum onna polam. Ok va Malini. ( You are right. Let Sujatha and brother too come with us. We will leave together. Is it ok Malini ?)
Malini now hugged Devika for her love towards her. Devika was equally in pain as her parents but still she chose to stay with her parents which nobody could do on the very first day of maariage. she was grateful to god for giving such a family for her.
They all started to Raghav’s home. Raghav and Malini came in one car and others came in diferent cars. as hey reached home Devika took arathi for the newly weds and welcomed them home. After a few rituals at their home they all again started to Krishnan’s home together afterall everybody needed solace.
Sujatha welcomed her daughter and son in law with arathi and everyone settled in the living. Raghav being the always caring partner for Malini observed her being uncomfortable in all the saree and jewels.
Raghab: Malini nee poi change panniko. Evlo neram ippadi irukka pora. po ( Malini you go and get changed. How long will stay like this ?)
Devika: Neeyum change panniko da. ( You too get changed Raghav )
Sujatha laughed at him and took Malini to her room and helped her to remove the jewels, saree and came down leaving Malini to get changed. Both parents were alone in the living room now with Raghav’s friends as Raghav also went to a different room to get changed.
Lakshmikandhan: Namma yaarum nadandhu mudinja dha pathi pesa venam. Adha pathi pesi Raghav Malini sandhoshatha kedukka venam. Avanga marriage sudden nadandhuduchu avangalukku feel irukkum so namma avanga munnadi azhudhalo kashta pattalo avanga innum feel pannuvanga so yarum adha pathi pesa venam.
(Let us not talk about what had happened. Let us not spoil Raghav and Malini’s happiness my talking about it. Their marriage happened all of a sudden and they might feel different about it and if we keep talking about what ever happened it might make them feel bad and worried)
Krishnan: Seriya sonnen pa appadiye pannalam. Rendu perukkum konja time kuduppom settle aga. Yedhukkum avangala force panna vendam. ( you are right, we will as you said. We will give them time to get settled. Let us not force them for anything.)
Sujatha: Avanga kandippa happy ah irupanga. ( They will sure be happy)
Devika: enakkum andha nambikka irukku. ( Even I believe in that)
Malini and Raghav got changed to a comfy dress and came down to join them. After staying for a long time Raghav’s friend left from there. Krishnan arranged room for Raghav’s parents and made them comfortable to stay.
